Of Grave National Security
What if I told you that the manner in which the immigration crisis is being handled by President Biden’s Homeland Security has subverted the rule for Asylum seekers and thereby compromising the national security of the United States?
Do I have your attention now?
It has been the goal of the U.S. immigration program (no matter how broken it may seem congress can fix it) to foster incoming migrants not by entitlement, but by what they bring to the table as productive members of our society.
Over the past 250 years we have seen the Constitution modified (amended) to right the wrongs of not allowing women, blacks, Orientals and Indians the full rights of citizenship, i.e. the right to vote. The outcome of the Civil War was ultimately to free the slaves and assimilate them fully into society as Americans. The same has been true for the various tribes of American Indians who were pushed onto reservations, stereotyped by Hollywood movies and discarded by society. A great many Oriental workers were brought here as slaves or indentured workers and not given a second thought when it came to the rights of citizenship. A common sense rule of thumb was to prevent the criminals and law breakers entry into the U.S. and to remove those migrant aliens who chose to break the state or federal laws after coming here.
There have been political debates and discussions over immigration for years. Congress alone has the authority and power to draft and/or modify immigration legislation. The Executive Branch has the authority and power to control/regulate the flow of migrants. President Trump did so in 2020 during the COVID crisis to prevent the spread of the China Virus and President Biden is doing so now with his open border policy for pure political reasons.
What has never been done before and is being done under Biden’s DHS Mayorkas is the CHNV Mass-Parole Scheme has actively transported and processed since January 2023 over 400,000+ inadmissible aliens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela into more than 50 airport locations across the interior of our nation. The term or classification of inadmissible includes criminals released from prisons and “paroled” into the United States not for significant public benefit or urgent humanitarian reasons as the Immigration and Nationality Act mandates. More than half of all monthly encounters at ports of entry Fiscal Year 2023 were from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela.
I don’t know how you feel about this, but it makes me angry to know that President Biden and his administration have seriously endangered the citizens of the United States by knowingly and willingly taken action that allows criminal gangs, drugs and human trafficking into our country. – RTM
