No Kings No Kidding
Eighteen days of the democratic lead government shutdown led up to the historic pre-paid “No Kings” protest rally in many cities across the country. One speaker (obviously not playing with a full deck) said something to the effect that we must come together as a nation and obey the laws and the constitution and not submit to the authoritarian dictator in the White House.
Such noble words spoken while resisting the constitutional actions of the duly elected President of the United States to remove undocumented and illegal migrants under the immigration laws of our nation that were passed by the very body of sitting congressional legislators. How’s that for smacking themselves in the behind?
It’s obvious that the Democratic Party is flip-flopping their way out of existence due in part to the lack of adult leadership, common sense ideas on how to better serve the nation and its citizens while catering to foreign lawbreakers residing in communities across our country.
I read social media comments inferring that President Trump must be fuming over the turnout of these “massive” No Kings rallies? Well I hate to break it to you that nothing could be further from the truth. President Trump was concerned about the senseless killings going on in war after war overseas, and the lack of common sense of Americas elected officials when it come the safety and security of American citizens across our homeland. I read something about President Trump thanking the No Kings people for keeping kings out of America, because as everyone knows Trump is still YOUR PRESIDENT.
Here’s the real kicker. Elected members of congress have the power to CHANGE or correct laws that are ineffective and/or harmful to Americans. It simply takes both sides of the political isle sitting down together and crafting better laws, passing them in the Senate and the House and presenting them to the President for signing into law – officially.
What elected members of congress do not have the power or constitutional authority is to BREAK THE LAW, especially when they could make necessary changes. Leading, heading and actually promoting resistance to the president, interfering with and attempting “regime change” because they do not like his personality or his policies is nothing short of Insurrection or Sedition.
Voters hold the ultimate power over politicians in something we call ELECTIONS! So if you don’t like the status quo, VOTE DIFFERENTLY – Majority rules (not politicians)!
Do you want to keep big government out of your “business” – obey the laws of our land as written and enacted in each state’s constitution and ultimately in the Constitution of the United States. – RTM
