On Operation Absolute Resolve
According to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan (Rising) Caine at 10:46 PM ET at the order of the President and in conjunction with the DOJ, US military forces conducted Operation Absolute Resolve a mission to apprehend Nicholas and Cecelia Maduro among a number of indicted fugitives since 2020. Both were apprehended by DOJ officers and transported to the USS Iwo Jima awaiting transportation to the United States for prosecution. No American force lives were lost and all aircraft (more than 150) were safely returned to bases afloat in the region.
Hats off to all personnel participating and supporting Operation Absolute Resolve which is reminiscent to the 1989-90 the Panama Operation Just Cause to apprehend Manuel Noriega.
Now to all the naysayers I ask why nobody took action after the 2020 indictment. In the four years of the Biden administration why did the US begin buying oil from Venezuela? Where was the outrage then?
Yes Operation Absolute Resolve was a military action to assist the DOJ and without allowing any leaks to members of Congress or the press it was a glaring success sending alarm bells across the globe, but in particular those countries aligned with the Maduro regime of flooding drugs and criminals into the US killing thousands, if not millions of Americans during Maduro’s tenuous reign of terror.
It would be fitting that once convicted the Maduros be moved into that maximum security facility in El Salvador.
I still remember seeing on CNN the lights and cameras on the beachhead announcing to the world and Iraq that US combat forces were landing in Kuwait to drive out Saddam Hussein’s forces during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. That surely didn’t happen this time.
I must remind those who call law enforcement officers “thugs” that their efforts to undermine lawful police actions are themselves law breakers and subject to criminal prosecution upon conviction.
It is time that congressional law makers get back to work writing bills to create new laws or correct erroneous laws instead of grandstanding on social media or those pathetic rap videos trying to fit in with the younger crowd.
How about talking with voters to find out what’s important to them and then communicating how you intend to remedy the situation if elected?
Most importantly congress, “STAY IN YOUR LANE”, you are congress and not the president. Resisting, impeding or hindering the office of the presidency is a bad idea and in many cases illegal, plus you set a bad example for your constituents and your political base.
There is a difference between political bantering, good natured joking and character assassination. What you say speaks volumes about YOU and nothing about the one you attack.
If you are standing in front our military or law enforcement you are considered the enemy. – RTM
