Comparing Minneapolis 2020 and 2026
As I look at the lawlessness of Minneapolis happening today highlighted by the recent death of Renee Good in 2026 I can’t help but remember the circumstances surrounding the death of George Floyd in 2020 and the aftermath.
Well I remember accounts of unscheduled flights into Minneapolis leading up to the eve of the rioting. It makes me think…..how is it that these Domestic Terrorists (paid professional agitators) had so conveniently come to Minneapolis at these particular dates and doing so under the banner of BLACK LIVES MATTER.
Are these just two similarities or just two coincidences? I don’t think it’s either!
We have learned that in 2020 there were a number of unidentified FBI resources interspersed into the crowd. They took a mostly peaceful protest march and turned it into a full scale riot.
Now in 2026 the same thing is happening only this time it’s under the banner of “MNICEWATCH”. Actually it has also been labeled “From Kansas City to Minneapolis” Ice Watch and has already lead to multiple confrontations with ICE agents, resulting in damage and theft of government property, personnel injury and death.
Nobody remembers when then presidents Clinton and Obama both spoke the virtues of removing illegal aliens from our country, and then followed it up with immigration enforcement actions. Where are those presidents now? Why are they not speaking out loud and clear against the rioting in Minneapolis and elsewhere across the nation?
Where is the media? Siding with these criminals who came unlawfully into our country, many committing crimes against our neighbors?
I’ll call it like it is. This anarchy and chaos is what brings ICE to the forefront of American news stories and into American cities (blue and red). ICE is and has been working in ALL 50 STATES for the past 40+ years doing their constitutional duties of immigration enforcement.
If you as an elected official want the chaos to stop, get behind and partner up city, state and federal law enforcement to round up the criminal elements and those who are here illegally must be turned over to ICE’s ERO unit to be removed from our country.
When you make the choice to confront, impede or interfere with ICE or any other federal law enforcement agency you run the immediate risk of being arrested, tried and imprisoned or worse yet being dead (choices have consequences).
Immigration is not a racial issue, nor a skin color issue, not a democrat or republican issue, but an issue of legality. Entering the nation unlawfully is a federal crime, with federal penalties.
I urge the DOJ, FBI and all government agencies involved to FOLLOW THE MONEY! – RTM
