The Blurred Line Between Peaceful Protesting and Rioting
News broadcasts are filled with stories and images of protesting in Iran and Minnesota.
There are major differences.
In Iraq the scene is of massive crowds peacefully protesting a repressive government that is randomly firing automatic weapons into an unarmed crowd.
Where is the uproar?
In Minnesota and other US locations the scene is of protesters impeding ICE agents by getting in their way, in their faces while shouting insults and threats against these patriotic Americans and their families. Using apps developed specifically for identifying, monitoring and tracking the law enforcement officers it’s obvious that something must be done before others get hurt or lose their lives.
My question is this – are there no laws against harassing law enforcement?
Harassment as a pattern of repeated and unwanted contact.
When peaceful protesting crosses the line into violence I call it what it is – rioting.
It’s kind of like rounding up wild pigs to herd people into a holding area, while providing them a choice, stand down or suffer the consequences. Forget politics, the time is now to get ahead of the violence and prepare detention centers where rioting mobs can be contained, processed for biometric identification and charged with crimes of violence and/or harassment (as applicable).
I call it “Nip it in the bud”.
Once these paid protesters see their leaders and fellow protesters getting detained, arrested and actually charged with a federal crime, would they not simply go home?
The FBI can then follow the money straight to the funding sources and put a stranglehold on monies used for nefarious purposes and charge those at the top with collusion to commit insurrection leading to violence, harm, damage and death.
I’m no lawyer, but Congress is full of lawyers – put that massive brain power to work protecting the American people from open rebellion.
It’s also time to hold elected officials accountable for their words and actions that stoke the embers of hatred and division for political and financial gain.
There is always a right time to do what is right, but never a right time to do what is wrong.
The means do NOT justify the end.
