Get A Handle On It
Don’t you just wish elected officials and members of congress would get over their TDS and get a grip? They were elected to look out for the best interests of American citizens, like safety, security and their favorite word “Affordability” of which they do a really bad job of keeping prices down.
For the past 10 years all we hear from democrats is “Trump this, Trump that and more of Trump is bad”. It’s like President Trump is living rent free in their heads.
There are a group of democratic presidential wannabees who voted against keeping the government open and as today begins the third government shutdown (only partial you know?) they boarded a plane and are now in Europe at a special international conference expressing their biased opinion, not on world peace or how noble United States President Donald Trump has become at stopping wars or changing the economic impact of global trade policies, instead they are acting like spoiled 2nd graders tattletailing on how bad Trump is for America and the world.
California Governor Gavin Newsome said, “Trump called me names like 2nd graders did back in school….”
Boo Hoo!
When questioned on the U.S. position on defending Taiwan against Chinese aggression New York Congresswomen AOC couldn’t come up with a simple “Yes or No” response.
I don’t understand how these elected officials feel justified in gallivanting to Europe after voting NO to keeping the government open while in effect voting for a partial government shutdown effecting HLS, Secret Service, the Coast Guard and even the TSA agents who checked their bags at the airport?
I wouldn’t be surprised if their government salaries and expenses are denied reimbursement upon their return from their “Cry Baby Tour”. Maybe, just maybe they should be docked a significant amount daily for running away?
Seriously, congressional democrats have made it a point to actively resist President Trump since 2015 by boycotting his inaugurations, his State of the Union addresses to congress, his domestic and international policies, to include securing America’s borders and removing unauthorized migrants from our country.
Democrats actively divide the nation, racially, sexually, politically and call themselves patriots and heroes because they strive not to offend law breakers, crooks and criminals.
Birds of a feather stick together, right?
The Legislative Branch (Congress) has the responsibility to create, correct and forward bills to be signed into law by the President.
Congress has oversight authority, not insurrection authority!
Everyone who occupies an official office in government has the responsibility to REPRESENT the nation proudly and with an air of patriotism.
Never bow down, back up or demonstrate disloyalty for the country they represent or they should resign their office.
The same is true for professional athletes who put on the uniform representing the United States of America, be loud and proud – or go home! – RTM
