According to Melvin Backman’s article of May 7, 2024 – The Swiss Army Knife has become such a shorthand for multifunctionality that companies producing does-a-lot-of-stuff wares will often say that their goods are the “Swiss Army Knife” of whatever category they’re a part of. You can use the tool to cut stuff, snip stuff, uncork stuff, file stuff, in some cases download stuff.
But Victorinox, the company behind the famous gadget, is working on a Swiss Army Knife without the knife part.
“We are in the early stages of developing pocket tools without blades,” the company said.
It remains to be seen how the bladeless Swiss Army Knife could simply be seen as just another tool. (BTW – What happened to the French Foreign Legion?) – RTM
If one were to believe the democratic logic that former President Trump is a disgraced president because Democratic Party operatives have brought this frivolous charge without merit against him then one would also have to believe that it is at the disgraceful direction and discretion of President Biden.
When the democratic NY AG Alvin Bragg decided to prosecute Trump during an election campaign season and the democratic NY Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan issued the gag order effectively preventing Trump from defending himself verbally or on social media even against the public attacks of two mad at Trump people – Stormy Daniels (she wanted to be on The Apprentice”) and Michael Cohen (he wanted a Cabinet position) it seems to be a muzzle meant to demean or belittle Trump (put him in the corner facing the wall) during this trial.
One might even infer from this public display of contempt for Donald Trump that it is also meant to keep him off the campaign trail, which in my book is election interference on the part of the AG, the Justice and with a Biden DOJ high ranking official coming to NY to conduct Trump’s prosecution.
That makes it officially and undeniably sanctioned by President Biden and his administration. Exactly what the Democrats have been accusing Trump of doing – going after his political opponent during the 2020 election with the Hunter Biden laptop debacle which never even got off the ground BECAUSE he was the son of Trump’s political opponent.
Needless to say this entire public spectacle has really backfired on the Dems. While mostly confined to New York during the trial, Trump has not been able to hold the public rallies that he had planned, but instead was able to walk and talk to New Yorkers on the streets of New York City, which has drawn quite a crowd of undecided voters to Trump’s camp. Additionally the recent Trump rally in New Jersey have law enforcement estimating more than 100,000 people coming out to support Donald Trump, which was before unheard of.
While President Biden marshalled the likes of former President Obama, Clinton and Hillary among other entertainment personalities at a recent fundraiser, it was former President Trump who single-handedly drew New York’s super rich and others for his fundraiser, without the Hollywood elites.
What I see happening are a number of anti-trumpers have embraced the Trump magic of getting into the MAGA spirit that will help put former President Trump back in the Oval Office BECAUSE of the insane policy decisions of Bidenomics.
As for the “NY vs Trump” trial (It should rightfully be called the “DEMS in NY vs TRUMP” trial– I’m sure the jury has seen through all the smoke and mirrors and can clearly see the politicization in this 2024 Presidential Election.

In the faraway place called the home of the brave and the land of the free there was an election for one of two very powerful men. The campaign season was fiery as rally after rally the people turned out to see and hear Mr. Red, while a pitiful few showed up to hear Mr. Blue, who spent a great deal of time campaigning from his residential basement headquarters.
On Election Day the hype was unbelievable as Mr. Red was so far ahead of Mr. Blue in both Red states as well as a number of swing states. As the deadline of 8PM followed the sun across the sky precinct after precinct shut down for the final tally. The proverbial writing was on the wall.
America slept.
Bright and early the morning after America woke up to the realization that something strange had happened overnight as it seemed that the tally for Mr. Red and Mr. Blue had been switched.
As was the custom Mr. Red protested the obviously erroneous results in states and precincts across the nation and was met with calls of being a crybaby as his protests were met on deaf ears.
Immediately Mr. Blue declared himself the winner and crowned himself “President-Elect” while demanding Mr. Red concede.
Having none of that Mr. Red refused.
But Mr. Blue already had a huge banner hanging from his residential “Oval Office” (a replica of the real one) that displayed OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT-ELECT.
One thing was obviously overlooked or forgotten as not really important – it would be 10 weeks before the Electoral College ballots would be cast, certified and presented to a joint session of congress on January 6th. Until then there was no president-elect.
But hey that didn’t really matter now did it?
Mr. Red had announced a scheduled rally for January 6th whereby he urged his supporters to walk down to the Capital Building and watch as the EC Ballots were presented and let their voices be heard for this important bit of history.
Once Capital Police waved the crowd into the lower area of the Capital Building it appeared on the surface that things were preceding as scheduled.
At the precise moment when the EC Ballots for the swing states were to begin being presented what can only be described as domestic terrorists in disguise created an altercation that brought the proceedings to a halt.
Legislators, visitors and guests were ushered into safe places for their own safety.
The discharge of a single firearm by a male Capital Police Officer killed an unarmed retired female military police officer who was said to present a threat the officer and others. Everyone was ushered out of the Capital Building and order was restored.
Although late the process continued in haste and Mr. Blue was declared President-Elect, while Mr. Red was declared a threat to national security for inciting an insurrection, obstructing the peaceful transfer of power and acting against the will of congress.
Mr. Blue is none other than President Joe Biden (#46) and Mr. Red is none other than President Donald Trump (#45). The rest is history as the Biden DOJ began hunting down, apprehending, arresting and confining a great many Trump supporters because they said or were seen on social media posts to have been in DC on January 6th.
How many are still behind bars waiting without charges, counsel or medical attention is anyone’s guess?
Violating the basic rights of American citizens because of their political affiliation or their support of a political opponent is not constitutional or acceptable in this Constitutional-Republic.
We are 4 years down the road from that election in 2020 and today we continue to see biased Democratic operatives abusing the power of their elected offices in hopes of embarrassing or bringing disgrace to a former president, whom they tried to remove or cause to quite the previous 4 years during his administration.
To me THAT spells insurrection and those elected officials, their senior staff and supporters MUST be held accountable for their despicable actions.

Is there really a difference between being a stand up flag waving, constitutional believing patriotic Republican and being fed up with Republican Party politicians who say one thing to get your vote and fail to perform when the chips are down and their congressional vote is on the line? I say no!
There are 435 seats in the US House of Representatives and 100 seats in the US Senate. I’m taking a wild guess here (no polls to verify my opinion) but what do I feel is the most widely used vote when a bill is on the floor of congress?
Is it Yea, Nay or Present? Overwhelmingly is has to be Present!
I’m sure there are roll call votes where each and every member of the House or the Senate must stand up and cast their vote – for something, right?
So why are we not seeing responsible legislation passed? Why do we still have all the pork projects which benefit that legislator and only a small portion of Americans? And why do we not see Republicans standing up against irresponsible legislative agendas?
Is it because of committees or caucuses? A few years ago I found there were more than 200 caucuses, where each member of each caucus was bound to vote the way of each caucus? Many caucuses are being chaired by Democrats and co-chaired by Republicans as a way of making it seem bi-partisan and fair. I’m not convinced that it is.
I recently listened to a Republican legislator say that on certain occasions he simply votes Present as a means of what – a protest vote? How does that make any sense at all?
I challenge anyone to look at any former or currently seated legislator of any party and follow their voting record and tell me what legislation of major significance have they sponsored and/or voted for that bears their name? What legislative accomplishment are they most proud of?
Let me give you an example, as a Senator from Democrat NY Hillary Clinton worked on getting legislation passed (not quite fast enough though) that would provide healthcare to those who couldn’t afford it. Had she been successful it would have been dubbed “Hillarycare”, yet her applecart was broadsided and when the dust settled and without anyone in Congress being able to actually read it, we got “Obamacare” or The Affordable Healthcare Act.
Do I think Obama spent hours and hours working out the nuances of this multi-thousand page bill? Not on your life, yet it became known as his. I seem to recall that the voting record of Obama showed that he voted Present much of the time (I may be wrong, so go check it out for yourself).
Why is it that immigration has been touted as a major problem since the end of World War II, yet no sitting congress has been able to fix it? I mean considerable funding has been allocated to building a border fence along the southern border, but the best they could do was a barbwire wooden pole fence that could hardly keep cattle in their pastures. When Trump urged Congressional leaders to reform the immigration laws, including make the dreamers legal (not by Obama’s presidential decree) he promised to sign it into law. Yet when Trump began building his wall, I mean a real honest to goodness wall as a barrier against unlawful entry, human trafficking and dangerous and harmful drugs Congress put up such a fight that you’d think they were in the pocket of the Mexican drug cartels. When Trump threatened to institute higher tariffs on Mexican goods, Mexican troops sealed off the Mexican side of the border real fast.
So what happened?
Democratic legislators band together and stand their ground, even when it’s not in the best interests of American citizens.
Republican legislators talk the talk, but haven’t figured out how to walk the walk and ultimately cowtow to pressure from the left, lest they offend someone with deep pockets.
JFK said “ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country” and today’s legislators tell us what our government is going to do to us should we balk at their power grab. The roadblock stopping them is DJT and something called the Bill of Rights, yet they are actively trying to shred that document so that an out of control government can sweep all the rights enshrined in the Constitution under the rug.
I’m tired of electing “sissies” (and I mean that not in a nice way either) to the House and the Senate. Not everyone qualified for public service should be in public service, especially when they use that service as a means of self-enrichment and political gain or a stepping stone into the White House because they look good.
America deserves better! We need men and women who have the intestinal fortitude to stand for what is right and use the brain that God has given them to look to the health, safety and welfare of American citizens,
There are no rights for non-citizens no matter how they got into this country. Aliens have the right to apply for residency, work permits or educational and tourist visas and then following procedures established by law the right to work toward citizenship, but must meet a series of requirements before becoming citizens of the United States. Why am I ever surprised when political correctness shreds another fabric of our society and stifles the creativity of our people for the sake of inclusion?
I happened on a news channel that began talking about the 115 year old Boy Scouts of America what is going to change the name of their organization so that everyone feels welcome.
Give me a break!
Why was the boy scouts created? Was it to make boys want to join and learn outdoor and other skills or to make girls want to join? As the organization grew it expanded worldwide and scouts can be seen in faraway places learning the same skills.
There are even girl scouts, brownie scouts, cub scouts and a host of other organizations that teach boys to be boys and girls to be girls.
Those skills are not meant to be demeaning but meant to equip our youth for adulthood. Some skills need to be learned by boys, others by girls and still other skills by both and some skills come with age and lots of practice.
Remember when there were gun safety classes in high school? Kids would bring in their own guns and learn safe handling skills and safe shooting practices. It was not until God and guns were banned from schools across our land that safety went out the window as well.
So what is to be gained by changing the name from Boy Scouts of America? Is the curriculum changing as well? Instead of instilling safety in everyday tasks are they going to eliminate those tasks and call it good?
When organizations such as the Boy Scouts are created, it’s with a purpose and there are rules. Not everyone is suited for every organization and bending the rules, changing the names or lowering the bar to suit them is acceptable or advisable.
The only constant in life is change, but change for the sake of watering down or brainwashing with distasteful or unsound doctrine is outright dangerous. It would be better to shut down the entire organization and let boys be boys and girls be girls again! – RTM
I saw a headline that President Biden has drawn a line in the sand with Israel.
What happened to “DON’T”?
Biden wants the fighting to stop, but he holds the door open every time he advocates for submitting to the demands of Hamas and tries forcing Israel to cease and desist from bringing the war to an end.
Come to think of it, didn’t Obama draw a line in the sand…..back in the day? Oh yeah and Biden was his VP.
Remember when G.W. Bush drew a line in the sand, “If you’re not with us you’re against us”, after 9/11?
Trump had a different line in the sand moment when he urged democratic voters to join the MAGA movement, after all “What have you got to lose?”
Democrats want absolute and total compliance – or else.
Republicans want conformity of the constitutional values enshrined in the Constitution, but they simply don’t know how to make it real. Not only did Trump know how to look at a future and prosperous America, he knows how to make it happen.
Now I’m not Donald J. Trump and I don’t know how his brain or thinking process works, but if I were the next President of the United States these are some of the things I feel need to happen.
Shut the borders for 30 days. Nobody in or out. Period
Exact double the tariffs of foreign goods for every country that contributes, funds or empowers these massive migration of undocumented and illegal migrants coming across our borders.
Declare Martial Law and position American fighting men and women to reestablish our national security and stop the flow of illegal drugs, contraband, human trafficking and unlawful migration into the United States.
Instruct the DOJ to enforce current immigration laws and hold lawbreakers and their allies accountable and begin mass prosecutions.
Begin deportation and banning of aliens engaged in crimes inside the United States.
Terminate all public assistance to illegal/unlawful migrants.
Return all minor migrant children to their parents or native state.
Stripping licenses and accreditations of “professional” and self-appointed private “Consultants” engaged in unlawful migration practices.
Instruct congressional legislators to work together (bi-partisanly) conduct a comprehensive immigration reform and present a bi-partisan bill ready for signing into law within 60 days (If immigration laws are broken, fix them).
Void Bidenonomics – entirely.
Reverse every mandate and presidential action that does not enhance or improve the welfare and safety of every American citizen Irregardless of political party.
Immediately increase the National Defense posture of the United States at home AND abroad.
Declare the Progressive Democratic Party an immediate threat to National Security.
Withhold federal funding for any public school or education of higher learning that inhibits the learning of students for politically correct indoctrination purposes.
Reestablish a national policy of not negotiating with terrorists.
Effect the removal of politically motivated lawyers or judges for misconduct in the performance of their official duties.
Call for a special investigation of legislative misconduct for living current and former legislators and to be impeached and removed from any public office and banned from holding future public offices.
I agree with the premise that people are not illegal, but their illegal actions of breaking the laws of the United States make them ineligible for continued residency or future United States citizenship.
I also believe that even though a person is qualified for public office, not everyone in public office is qualified to remain there indefinitely.
Public service is just that – a Service to the Public.
Patriotism is placing country above self and with service to others.

I never in my wildest dreams thought that I’d be writing about wrong, never mind about people who are dead wrong about being right. There are sermons to Christians about “Being the Truth” and “Being Honest” when the world around you is turned on its head. But here we are in the most controversial election year of our time. What are we to do?
At the very least we should study and reflect on what God has to say. The bible tells us that there is nothing new under the sun. One sermon I listened to recently said that the first “recorded” battle and the last battle are both fought on the same battlefield – Armageddon. As pastor David Jeremiah spoke that of all the millions of acres covering the face of the earth it’s ironic that in the history of war it ends where it began.
Now think about where we are today. President Biden spoke recently at the Holocaust Museum that his support of Israel is unshakeable and ironclad and there is no safe place for hate in America, yet a mere 48 hours later he announced his withholding of military weaponry approved by congress in a bill HE approved and signed into law. As anti-Israeli members of congress applauded and cheered it appears that Biden simply bowed a knee to the pressure of his political party’s elites.
He condemned the anti-Israel protestors rioting on the college campuses across our nation, yet made no move to use the DOJ or the FBI to shut those protests down. Oh token arrests of student pawns are being made, but it appears that none of the protest leaders or their funding sources have been affected.
Then I remember after January 6th, 2021 the full force of the FBI and the DOJ were brought to bear down on Trump supporters, even though they were not involved in the destruction inside the Capital Building, but simply because they were seen or said they attended Trump’s DC rally.
Sadly a great many Christian’s believed the lies spewed by the misinformation and fake news broadcast daily and non-stop from left leaning outlets and social media condemning patriotic Americans, many of them Christians and cheering their arrest and imprisonment, many without charges or access to medical or legal representation.
As I see pictures of the protest encampments I’m reminded that the illegal alien invasion camps, are equipped with what appears to be the exact same style encampments and more than 10 million illegal invaders later, the flow appears to be never ending.
I’ve always been told and I believe that when you see a wrong being committed and say nothing you ARE part and parcel of the problem – you own it too.
The US Constitution lists certain rights of US citizenship and gives NO RIGHTS to non-citizens.

While at the gym one evening a television screen showed the talking heads at CNN wanting everyone to believe that Trump supporters are looking back on his presidency through Amnesia or Dementia filters while they do not look at Biden’s presidency through the same filters.
I have to say it’s pretty obvious for a normal person to determine which is which.
To be clear I began blogging through Obama’s final days in office and remember when he met with President-Elect Donald Trump in the Oval Office and wished him and his administration well while (in my opinion) Obama covertly orchestrated the resistance movement against Trump that began immediately after Trump’s inauguration on January 20th 2017.
As events began to unfold I watched and began blogging as I watched as congressional democrats lead the charge by boycotting the inauguration and openly challenged the authority of the newly elected president by make public statements on and off camera, and leaking misinformation like the “ Russian Hoax Dossier” to the left leaning press which the progressive democrats controlled.
Remember the Russia Hoax where Putin supposedly had Trump in his pocket?
The dossier was concocted and funded by the Clinton Foundation was touted as “fact”, while after a lengthy and very public special investigation and exploiting “events” it was found to be not true, and total misinformation.
Did anybody involved go to prison or were held accountable over it?
Remember the “Pink hatted ladies” (I use the term ladies very loosely) comprised of Hollywood elites, political upper class and those supposedly in the know we watched TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) went into full blown hysteria mode.
When Trump was told that American students were being held in China for theft what did he do about it? Did he abandon them? Trump called China’s president and arranged transport back to the US for 3 student athletes who had demonstrated the finest qualities of Los Angeles’ gang mentality after being caught red-handed stealing sunglasses – SUNGLASSES?
The father of one of the thieves who had accompanied the team to China called it no big deal.
After their return to the US one of the thieves thanked President Trump, but later said he was pressured to do that or face expulsion by the school.
What ever happened to those guys?
Remember when President Trump invited congressional democrat leaders into the Oval Office shortly after taking office? It was then that former house speaker Nancy Pelosi told President Trump how much importance “she” brought to the meeting. Senator Chuck Schumer was there and he did not say a word otherwise.
At that time it was the most in your face disrespectful act from a member of congress to the POTUS I had ever witnessed.
Do you think those two treated their former congressional colleagues Barack Obama, Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton that way?
I could go on about this congressional democrat’s war on Trump, but then you already know that, right?
When the China Virus was launched on the US and on a global scale, Trump found that the US stockpile of emergency supplies was almost non-existent and compelled industry and military to fast track ventilators, masks and protective equipment.
When Trump even banned foreign tourists from China and several European nations entry into the US congress went crazy calling Trump a racist.
Where was congress’s uproar when Biden opened the northern and southern borders in 2021? Have they called him to account for it?
The democratically controlled congress is complacent in this open attack on our nation that has allowed more than 10M illegal immigrants into our country.
Do you think if Trump did that congress would enthusiastically go along?
When Trump assumed office he faced a hostile congress (as many of its members are today).
Congressional democrats hate him and many congressional republicans don’t rally around him either. Many are afraid to sign their name to anything that supported Trumps agenda of Making America Great Again and are afraid of going against Biden’s destructive agenda for America.
I challenge anyone to name one MAGA rally (including on January 6th, 2021) where Trump supporters turned into a wild maniacal horde of looters, rioters, destroyers of property, harming others with reckless abandonment. IT NEVER HAPPENED!
There were demonstrators and detractors of Trump showing up at MAGA rallies just to provoke a response and every one ended up being booted or carried out by security.
Let us talk about the circus atmosphere of TWO IMPEACHMENTS during Trump’s tenure. Those orchestrated hearings were seemingly endless and each one ended as it began without merit, just as these orchestrated Trump Trials that are going on today.
Remember when Biden strong armed with threat of withholding military aid from Ukraine so that the prosecutor was fired (he was investigating a corporation where Hunter Biden was on the board of directors)?
Remember the Hunter Biden laptop? Nothing there either right?
When Trump created the US Space Force as a new entity in the DOD he was ceaselessly ridiculed over it, but today the Space Force is on the forefront of defending against cyberattacks through outer space.
When Trump got a number of Middle Eastern nations to sign the Abraham Accord with Israel, they said it couldn’t be done and when Trump moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem the world took notice.
Trump was never given a Nobel Peace Prize for bringing peace to the Middle East and the World, right?
Today there are multiple terrorist factions and states ATTACKING ISRAEL and the world is slow to respond, even the US response was slow in coming.
Demonstrations are irrupting throughout US colleges and university campuses and action to shut them down is slower than fixing a leaky toilet.
There are many more examples which I can cite looking back at the Trump administration through a filter of TRUTH. The media is more focused on every word coming out of the mouth of Donald Trump, his body language and facial expressions and how he responds to those attacking his name, profession, credibility and his honor.
The media talking heads and so called “experts on Trump” slander him Irregardless of the truth.
When you want to see dementia or delusion one need look no further than President Joe Biden, his handlers and speech writers and those making foreign policy decisions and economic policy decision in his stead.
It would appear that their overall intention is to bankrupt the United States to the point that it will fail completely or raise from the ashes as a Constitutional-Democracy where one man sits at the top, dictating the will of America and of Americans – OR ELSE! – RTM

While watching news footage during the beginning of these universities and college campuses beginning in New York and spreading throughout other campuses across the nation I have to wonder about their “spontaneousness”. I mean there are brightly colored tents set up everywhere. That means these are pre-planned and not spontaneous at all. When I listen to their chanting, there is one person using their cell phone to lead the chant. I also notice that other members of the “protest” group also have their cell phones out, so that leads me to believe it’s being controlled from somewhere else.
What I mean is when classmates want to protest or give voice to a particular grievance of campus policy, they decide to assemble and tell their side of the issue as they see it, right? In doing so they should at least have recommendations for remedying the situation shouldn’t they?
When these protests begin to appear on other campuses in other states, the scene is repeated ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME. There are tents everywhere on campus, people are chanting or yelling and in many cases students are being verbally and physically assaulted and chased across the campus because of their race/religion and that my friends is AGAINST THE LAW.
How hard is it to follow the lead of the DC Mayor who shut off cell towers during January 6th to prevent MAGA folks from using their cell phones?
What about holding these protesters accountable for their actions? If they are students of the school, terminate their studenthood, if they are migrants, deport them and if they are violent and refuse to follow the commands from law enforcement, arrest them.
But there has to be more. The New York DA’s must go after these rioters with the same energy that Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has gone after President Trump – and show no mercy or signs of letting up and especially if someone has been fearful for their life, hurt or killed – prosecute the responsible parties to the fullest extent of the law, including their associates, allies and pay particular attention to where the money is coming from and then cut off the funds and the funding sources.

To be clear these protests are carefully thought out, communicated to others and the protesters are being transported, fed and housed by parties yet to be disclosed and are not protected free speech under the constitution. These mostly peaceful protests incite people to act like animals, rioting, threatening, and/or assaulting others leading to lawlessness. Allowing this behavior to continue is criminal and everyone knows criminals need to be held accountable. Officials who cannot restore order should not remain in their elected, appointed or paid positions – at any level. – RTM
Is it taking/failing to take action at the expense of American lives?
Is it taking bribes/payoffs/kickbacks from foreign entities/governments for personal gain?
Is it obtaining the release of American criminals from foreign soil?
Or maybe it’s getting the release of American hostages in exchange for American Dollars “CASH” and/or the release of foreign terrorists?
Could it be negotiating peace among nations seemingly destined for war?
Quite possibly it is the endangerment of America’s national security/sovereignty and America citizens by opening the border and ignoring current immigration laws?
I know it’s setting up the circumstances for an attack on an American Consulate/Embassy which cost the lives of the Ambassador and members of his security detail while ignoring/failing to adequately respond to repeated calls for assistance during a ground attack.
Could it be launching America into a World War?
Quite possibly it could be involving American lives in civil unrest/war on foreign soil.
Or is it using the office of the Attorney General, the DOJ and other government agencies and nationwide news media to take down ones political opponent during a presidential election?
We are being told that President Donald Trump is a disgraced former president because he has been accused of multiple felony charges by the same people who actively sought to resist his presidency and his administration. These are the ones who paraded themselves openly during two failed impeachment trials of a sitting president and a number of failed allegations of wrongdoings for which they themselves were doing at the time.
These same members of congress attempted to remove the privileges of former president Donald Trump before he actually became a former president, and are attempting to pass legislation that would prevent a former president from holding elected office whether he committed a felony or not, but has been convicted of a felony. They are doubling down by using racketeering tactics of conspiring to take down President Donald Trump through multiple court actions in multiple states.
In my book a disgraced president fails at his job when he fails the American people by failing to protect the Constitution and causes the loss of even one American life. A disgraced president goes after his political opponent. A disgraced president attacks American citizens based on their political choices. A disgraced president has no mercy until his bully tactics succeed in overpowering all opposition.
