I realize that cleaning the swamp will take more than changing administration heads, but must begin with the removal & prosecution for their actions each upper level management head who ordered/sanctioned political attacks and weaponization of IRS and other non-L. E. agency personnel and replacing them with qualified and non-political personnel will be key.
Whether it’s Trump or another candidate – the president must be someone with the vision and backbone to undo the Obamization of our government.
I don’t see anybody with a strong enough constitution (backbone) to not cave to political opposition.
Trump was famous for “you’re fired” and congress has spent all this time trying to out trump Trump when they could have joined his fight to rebuild America’s military strength, improved infrastructure and independence from foreign oil.
None of the big talkers from either side of the isle in this or the last two elections have even come close.
Do you remember when the retired Army lieutenant general Michael Flynn appointed to head the NSA gathered everyone together in the auditorium to announce huge changes were on the way for the agency.
The resistance began attacking his character personally and professionally. He resigned so as not to be a further distraction for the administration Trump was putting in place. His was just a shot across the bow warning the newly elected president that the swamp was more powerful and would remain after he was out of office. More bow shots continued over appointments, leaks of classified and private documents and phone conversations and from White House staffers throughout the Trump administration.
Before Trump was elected by American voters he had been selected by God for a selected purpose (stop political correctness and evil). That mandate has not changed.
Some think Trump was to be a two-term president, yet nothing was said or indicated that he couldn’t serve two separate terms to fully accomplish his God given mandate. You can argue with me over this or you can take it up with God personally.
I believe that when you are obedient to God nothing else matters. No weapon formed against you will succeed. Focus your eyes on God and rely not on your own understanding. Simply do as God commands and let Him lead the way.
As I’ve said before Trump is not a perfect man, but he is perfectly suited for God’s plan for him. America will reap the rewards while God gets all the glory. After all it was God’s plan for our nation to be birthed as a one-of-a-kind Constitutional-Republic, a light shining on a hill. It is this light of freedom that draws people from around the world to our shores.
Compromising our border is through negligence and political corruption intended to extinguish that light.
Darkness can never triumph over the light which shines from God. Through prayer and supplication America’s best days are still ahead.
All the talk about protecting the right to vote against election interference simply doesn’t apply when it comes to democratic politics and former President Donald J. Trump. Taking Trump off the ballot in certain blue states makes no sense, especially when voters have a choice of voting for him or not.
Citing the 14th Amendment as the reasoning clearly shows that someone didn’t read or understand the 14th Amendment at all. Trump was accused by congressional Democrats of “trumped” up charges of interfering with the transition of power. In reality it was going against the will of congress, which Trump seemed to do all along.
January 6th was a setup.
Trump had announced his rally ahead of time and it gave democratic operatives plenty of time to set a plan that would take Trump out of the picture once and for all. Events sprang into action even before Trump had finished telling the MAGA crowd to go see for themselves the electoral process in action. What they saw led to them becoming an unwitting pawns in election interference the likes of which the world has never seen.
According to a witness on the floor of the House chamber at the precise moment when swing state electoral college voted were to be presented for confirmation or rejection a disturbance occurred which interrupted the entire process as the House was evacuated.
The events that followed did not go according to protocol as chaos erupted and accusations of Trump interference sprang from the lips of correspondents and journalists a like. In fact rather than continuing the election process a hurried closure occurred and Biden was named the winner.
This was followed by formation of the “bipartisan” January 6th Committee that enabled the hunting down and arresting and imprisonment of MAGA supporters based solely on the fact that they were in DC on that day.
The only casualty was a MAGA supporter who was shot and killed by a Capitol Police Officer inside the Capitol Building who said he feared for his life. Democrats called him a hero when he clearly was anything but!
Since that day congressional Democrats have continuously sought to keep Trump off the ballot of all 50 states and prevent his return to the White House.
If that isn’t election interference I don’t know what is.
Democrats and Republicans have downplayed what appears to be a Trump tsunami as Americans are sick and tired of “Bidennomics” and want to Make America Great Again. – RTM
Like history has a way of repeating itself and man is a creature of habit politicians using Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals playbook have a history of making the same mistakes over and over again.
Remember when then former Vice President Joe Biden bragged about putting in the “fix” to have a Ukrainian criminal prosecutor fired or he had the power to withhold US military aid funds? The company being investigated was Barisma where Joe’s son Hunter Biden was on the board and sending what amounted to “kick back money” to dear old dad (Joe). Joe Biden said something like “don’t believe me talk to the big guy” meaning President Barack Obama. Then according to Joe Biden the prosecutor was magically fired.
Well what happened when newly elected President Donald Trump asked the newly elected Ukrainian president to find out if there was any truth to Biden’s claim?
Can anybody spell IMPEACHMENT #2! That is what then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Democrats did without blinking an eye and making a public spectacle out of the entire process.
In fact Alinsky said something like:
Select target – Trump
Isolate target – Trump
Attack target – Trump
Attack those who support target – MAGA & GOP
Anything goes – true or not
But don’t do it until your side gets tired of it and it loses its effect – Too late.
I saw a headline today where President Joe Biden said he would close the border IF Congress passes bill including Ukraine. I immediately thought back to his “fixing” the Ukraine prosecutor. Doesn’t that strike anyone with common sense like a president trying to blackmail, bully or in some way bribe Congress (from which he came out of)? This response tells me that Biden wanted an open border that threatens the nation security of the USA and that my friends equates to HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS in anyone’s book and at the very least spell IMPEACHMENT!
Vice President Harris was entrusted to become the “border czar” and has done absolutely nothing to insure the security of our country and that makes her a primary candidate for IMPEACHMENT as well.
What must that man do to get the same honors as Trump? Must he kill someone? – Sorry but Afghanistan comes to mind where 13 American service personnel lost their lives because of the decision of Biden. Or going back to Benghazi 2012 when 4 American’s lost their lives and Biden was part of the Obama “team” that did nothing to assist or rescue them…….in time.
I fear there’s a whole lot more to Joe Biden than what the public has been privy to and we may never know the extent of the corruption or harm this president has done to our country.
Democrats pulled the “sex” card on Trump in 2016 and it didn’t work then, now facing 2024 elections they pull the same “sex” card again and I wouldn’t be surprised if the decision and massive fine levied against Trump was more because of his name than any evidence presented before the court. Judges can be impeached too you know?
I would hope that voters take all this into consideration before casting their ballots in person or absentee. – RTM
After a panel of Florida judges awarded columnist E. Jean Carroll $83.3M from Donald J. Trump for defamation in that he sexually assaulted her in the 1990s (which Trump has denied) and the news “wires” have picked up the story saying it’s a pretty bad thing for Trump to lose in court. But I wonder if it really is bad for Trump.
Nicki Haley said that Trump throws a temper tantrum when being threatened and I’m sure she, for one see this as a threat to Trump’s ability to secure the White House in the run for his second term. What is bad is to disclose publicly “legal” proceedings using the same democratic tactics used to drag Trump “through the mud” over the past 8 years.
I don’t if Nicki knew or simply fails to remember is that to Trump publicity is good when he doesn’t have to buy it, and this could be feeding to his favor. Granted that $83.3M isn’t chump change for Trump, but it wouldn’t surprise me if his legal team appeals this unjustly high fine and get it overturned in short order.
Now the real questions are what if Donald Trump was to seek retribution or vindication by taking to court everyone who has defamed him and his family personally, politically or professionally and he could “clean house” ($$$M) on CNN, NBC, ABC and every talk show host, anchor, reporter, “journalist”, politician or political pundit, entertainer, actor or person IN THE USA who has, is or will continue to defame him.
After all isn’t that what tyrants, dictators and democratics do? At least that’s what they keep saying that Trump will do if he is elected president again.
This may be my last political analysis for a while as I am going to watch as our nation becomes even more divided by the rhetoric and non-action of prominent political operatives at our nation’s capital.
During the 2015 campaign season Donald Trump called it the “Swamp”. What we have seen amounts to little more than a gigantic “cesspool” of political corruption on a number of levels. Just as Trump promised to secure the border by building a fence between the US and Mexico, Biden not only promised to tear down Trump’s wall and totally open the border to everyone from everywhere, no vetting and no idea of where they are from or what their intentions are toward our nation.
I call it irresponsible and a direct threat toward national security.
Yet the squabbling and finger pointing resembles grade schoolyard antics. Republicans say “secure the border” and “stop the invasion”, while Democrats say it’s the Republicans who don’t want to fix the border situation. It would be funny but the finger pointers in the White House are both former Democratic Senators who did absolutely nothing during their terms in the Senate to advance immigration reform or fix the border.
Recently the Biden administration sent representatives all the way to Mexico City to meet with the President of Mexico to discuss possible solutions to this worldwide invasion of the US. The end result was “we have no solution”.
I say enough is enough!
The Biden administration has taken to battling the state of Texas over using National Guard troops and concertina wire to stop the flow of people, drugs and who knows what else from coming over the border. Think of what could happen if politicians on both sides of the isle would simply engage their brains instead of engaging in propaganda and social media warfare. Why not fight this hard FOR THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES, instead of us fighting each other?
Every country in the world has strict immigration policies, yet these “migrants” are being transported through every country in Central and possibly South America on their way to Mexico and the border crossings in Texas, Arizona, & California WITHOUT RESISTANCE! There is big money behind this or these “migrants” wouldn’t be wearing new clothes, carrying new phones, backpacks and food supplies and walking in new shoes, especially if we are to believe they are all seeking refuse from political or religious persecution, as we are being told.
Just try going to another foreign country without documentation or the necessary permits and see what happens (unless you’re trying to use the backdoor to get into the USA)?
It seems to me that the pool of high expectations is empty………RTM
We humans have some pretty messed up priorities. We have no problem donating money, marching, protesting and even going to physical use of force to insure that OUR way prevails. We rally behind SAVE THE PLANET, SAVE THE WHALES, SAVE THE ELEPHANTS, SAVE WILDLIFE, even SAVE DOGS AND CATS and although we want to SAVE THEM ALL, we forget to SAVE ALL HUMAN LIFE!
We call it women’s health choices and in all practicality it really comes down to wanting to express a women’s right to prevent other human’s from their natural right to life.
Religion even condones this rebellious behavior while touting “It is okay, God understands” as the times they are a changing.
Not that long ago a song by Ray Boltz “What was I supposed to be” caught the religious world by storm, but was virtually ignored by proponents of the abortion on demand crowd.
Not only is abortion wrong, it is the most senseless act of rebellion imaginable and must hurt the very heart of God to see His most prized creation self-destruct by casting those precious babies away like clumps of clay.
Each life is worth more than all the diamonds, emeralds, rubies and gold combined. Lives are priceless and God loves every single one the same as HE LOVES YOU AND ME. – RTM
Another Look at The Peter Principle in American Politics
“Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.” ― Laurence J. Peter
What is really prevalent in our society today is how President Joe Biden’s Democratic Party is slowly turning the helm of the USS United States of America away from the Constitutional-Republic as envisioned in the Constitution of the United States of America and steering toward a time-proven failed Democracy patterned government where imbeciles really are running the ship of state. When did it all start? I’m sure nobody can really pinpoint the exact time or date and what politician was at the root of our nation’s decline toward socialism.
Over my lifetime I’ve taken a number of business management, phycology and sociology classes which do more to confuse than to enlighten anyone about business, let alone politics. It would take a real pragmatist to figure out where problems lie and how to fix them.
One book I found useful was called The Peter Principle, a concept in management theory formulated by educator Laurence J. Peter and published in 1969 where it states that “the selection of a candidate for a position is based on the candidate’s performance in their current role, rather than on abilities relevant to the intended role”. (Someone might be a good gas station attendant, but a horrible manager of that same gas station.) According to Laurence J. Peter, “Thus, employees only stop being promoted once they can no longer perform effectively, and “managers rise to the level of their incompetence”.
The goings on across America in Local, State and Federal Government show how the Peter Principle is alive and well. Take the striving for a better America by President Trump and the type and level of resistance from the Legislative and Judicial Branches and others at federal, state and local levels where President Biden and many government officials act as they are above the law and cannot be touched.
The names are too numerous to list here, but take any “news” article from any media source on any given day and you can see where certain individuals in elected or appointed positions fit into the hierarchy as defined by these Peter Principle Quotes by Laurence J. Peter
“In a hierarchy, every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence.” ― Laurence J. Peter
This saying is particularly relevant today, “In most hierarchies, super-competence is more objectionable than incompetence.” He warned that extremely skilled and productive employees often face criticism, and are fired if they don’t start performing worse. Their presence “disrupts and therefore violates the first commandment of hierarchical life: the hierarchy must be preserved.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Any government, whether it is a democracy, a dictatorship, a communistic or free enterprise bureaucracy, will fall when its hierarchy reaches an intolerable state of maturity.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Work is accomplished by those employees who have not yet reached their level of incompetence.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“As individuals we tend to climb to our levels of incompetence. We behave as though up is better and more is better, and yet all around us we see the tragic victims of this mindless escalation.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“A staff increase may produce a temporary improvement, but the promotion process eventually produces its effect on the newcomers and they, too, rise to their levels of incompetence.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Three Observations
1) The computer may be incompetent in itself—that is, unable to do regularly and accurately the work for which it was designed. This kind of incompetence can never be eliminated, because the Peter Principle applies in the plants where computers are designed and manufactured.
2) Even when competent in itself, the computer vastly magnifies the results of incompetence in its owners or operators.
3) The computer, like a human employee, is subject to the Peter Principle. If it does good work at first, there is a strong tendency to promote it to more responsible tasks, until it reaches its level of incompetence.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Slump, and the world slumps with you. Push and you push alone.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Many a man, under the old and the new systems, has made the upward step from candidate to legislator, only to achieve his level of incompetence.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Employees in a hierarchy do not really object to incompetence (Peter’s Paradox): they merely gossip about incompetence to mask their envy of employees who have Pull.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“All, from police forces to armed forces, are rigid hierarchies of salaried employees, and all are necessarily cumbered with incompetents who cannot do their existing work, cannot be promoted, yet cannot be removed.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“He must examine his objectives and see that true progress is achieved through moving forward to a better way of life, rather than upward to total life incompetence.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“In time, every post tends to be occupied by an employee who is incompetent to carry out its duties.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“The efficiency of a hierarchy is inversely proportional to its Maturity Quotient, M.Q. MQ = No. of employees at level of incompetence × 100 Total no. of employees in hierarchy. Obviously, when MQ reaches 100, no useful work will be accomplished at all.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Nobody understands how the incessant pressure from above and the incurable incompetence below make it utterly impossible for me to do an adequate job and keep a clean desk.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Know, all the good that individuals find, Or God and Nature meant to mere Mankind, Reason’s whole pleasure, all the joys of Sense, Lie in three words, Health, Peace, and Competence. (Ibid., 11. 77–80)” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Incompetence,” he argued, “knows no barrier of time or place.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Given enough time—and assuming the existence of enough ranks in the hierarchy—each employee rises to, and remains at, his level of incompetence.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“The more conceited members of the race think in terms of an endless ascent—or promotion ad infinitum. I would point out that, sooner or later, man must reach his level of life-incompetence.” ― Laurence J. Peter
“In a Hierarchy Every Employee Tends to Rise to His Level of Incompetence” ― Laurence J. Peter
“Such an extreme policy will not be generally tolerated. So, to avoid the accumulation of incompetents, administrators have evolved the plan of promoting everyone, the incompetent as well as the competent. They find psychological justification for this policy by saying that it spares students the painful experience of failure.” ― Laurence J. Peter
There is a lot of political talk from the left about the age of President (45) Trump vs President (46) Biden. Both are running for the same office in November’s Presidential Election and there can be only one winner, but as we know there could be over 43M losers – American citizens.
Well let me burst your bubble – Age is only a number! Yes that’s right!
What age doesn’t do is change your maturity level when it comes to politics. Someone dumber than dirt at age 35 may still be dumber than dirt at age 75, 85 or 95.
Watch each politician. I mean really watch them, listen to what they say and how they say it (their message delivery).
Are they energetic, engaging, dynamic and are they communicating to you? Or are they lackluster at best?
Do they command a crowd? By that I mean are there crowds of people leaning in anticipation waiting to hear what they have to say?
Do they use a teleprompter and still have trouble following along or reading their given lines?
Or do they speak from their heart and tell you what they really believe or just what you want to hear?
Politicians are like flies. Once they touch the sweet stuff (honey, sugar, nectar) they just can’t let it go. We see that in members of congress who’ve taken up homesteading rights, making the House or the Senate their HOME!
Am I right?
Lately we’ve see several coming to the chamber being pushed in wheelchairs and stay until they have to be carried out on a stretcher. Their funerals paint them as a saint or demigod. Their co-harts (compadres) have the audacity to demand that certain politicians are banned from attending. Unless it is written in their last will and testament “that politician “X” be banned from my funeral” who are they (anyone) to think they (Nancy) can demand anything?
Maybe that’s really what age does to some people. They either can’t function as they grow older, but then again who’s to say they were functioning when they were younger?
Politics should NEVER be a lifetime thing. I mean a career in politics simply means they couldn’t find or gain meaningful employment elsewhere and made getting votes their only claim to fame.
It’s the “how many politicians does it take to change a lightbulb” kind of thing? They must first see, know and recognize that the lightbulb has burnt out! – RTM
Voting in the United States is a right of citizenship that is protected by the Constitution. Even so it has been a long hard fight for women and people of color to be able to exercise their right to vote. In the political scheme of things we have been told that we should endorse “EVERY VOTE COUNTS”, and that is simply not true.
There are deadlines for those wishing to cast their ballot for cities, county, state and national elections. In order to meet the criteria for casting your ballot it is a requirement to “REGISTER” in the precinct you reside in.
Not registered – Not voting!
So simple isn’t it?
Another hot button is with “ABSENTEE” voting, where in many states registered voters may request an absentee ballot in order to vote early in an election. The signature on an absentee ballot must match the signature on the voter registration form and/or voter registration database listing. Voters may not vote in person and by absentee ballot. It’s easy to have unsolicited absentee ballots filled out and mailed in, so as to cancel in person voting such as when absentee ballots are sent out in mass mailings to individuals who did not request them, opening a Pandora’s Box to fraud, vote stealing and ballot harvesting. This is especially true when signatures are not reconciled against voter registration cards or databases. It is a requirement for cast ballots in person or at the ballot collection boxes “POLLS” BEFORE the voting deadline on Election Day.
It is illegal for politicians and or “enforcers” to intimidate voters outside or inside the polling places. It is irresponsible for employees, supervisors and/or any other person to facilitate or restrict movement of neutral polling “judges” who are monitoring ballot processing, using intimidation tactics.
Lastly as it was reported in the 2020 Presidential Election, voting software manipulation can easily skew ballots tabulated by voting equipment, or by unscrupulous polling place personnel. Anyone who enables or participates in election interference for or against any political party must be held accountable and prosecuted. – RTM
What can I say about politics that hasn’t already been said or talked about? People go into politics for a number of reasons. Some want to change the world around us. Others want to change the way they feel that things are being done incorrectly. Still others are out to make a name for themselves. While others want power, money and/or fame, at any expense or cost (to someone else).
We saw it in the rise of a completely unknown individual who in a matter of a few short years rose to a prominent position of power which nobody saw coming. Did he sit back, take notes and studied on how the game of politics in Washington was being played. Or did he plan for when the timing was just right, leap-frogged right over the top of the DNC favorite, captured the minds of thousands who were expecting a real change in 2006? It should have been no surprise that he was even awarded the Nobel Prize not for anything that he had accomplished or done, but for what he “MIGHT DO”.
Unsuspecting voters must be vitally aware of who politicians really are, what are their core values and do they have the intestinal fortitude to stand up alone and declare to the world what they intend to do if elected to public office. Nobody can allow their judgement to be clouded by hate to the point that when the dust settles they are stuck with a less than honorable or capable candidate potentially with their finger on the nuclear “football” triggering the next world war.
Voters – What do you believe and Why? Are you voting for someone who shares your values? Take stock of the things you hold dear and are worth dying for, so as to determine if politicians running for office share those same core values and are they articulating real attainable goals or simply making empty promises? Is their vision of a future America inclusive of ALL Americans, or just those of their particular political party?
Watch the track record of politicians and then follow them during their first 100 days in office to see if things get progressively better for our nation and for ALL AMERICANS in particular?
Are our veterans being taken care of?
Are our homeless communities expanding and why?
Don’t fall for the hype that Americans who believe that America’s best days are still ahead and we can Make America Great Again or just a bunch of nutcases or domestic terrorists.
The nutcases and domestic terrorists may already be infesting our government agencies created to keep us safe. As the saying goes “You are what you do”, apply that to voting. You are who you vote for and that is just not a good thing if it is endangering our economy, our nation and our way of life.
