In Search of a Crime

Why is it that in the land of the free and home of the brave where Americans have an expectation of being innocent until proven guilty in a court of law are we still allowing the elephant in the room to actively go after other Americans not for what they have done, but what someone accuses them of doing?

The current events of rehashing a non-existent scandal of democratic proportions comes across for what it really is, another attempt to prevent former President Trump from reclaiming the presidency. To put it in plain English – Trump Derangement Syndrome is fueling this quest of another “pin a crime on Trump”.

Just think two liars and having an elected official who is also a liar touting an extensive, fair and balanced investigation of the facts and evidence in question doesn’t make it right.

It doesn’t take a lawyer to see that the only crimes that were committed were that of a hooker who made false allegations and recanted them, a former lawyer who acted on his own and with his own money to pay hush money for something that didn’t happen and now the Manhattan DA who chose to act on a case that never was on a presidential candidate and former president to influence the 2024 presidential election.

Where is “Lady Justice” in all of this (Hiding under the Statue of Liberty)?

Whether you love him or hate him is irrelevant when it comes to innuendoes and accusations Donald J. Trump is not one to let free publicity go to waste. In fact Trump thrives on publicity (especially that which he doesn’t have to pay for).

People are creatures of habit and the Democratic Party has no lack of habit either. Ever since Trump upset the DNC applecart in the 2016 election the party has never really gotten started. Hillary had counted her chickens even before her eggs had hatched and ended up with egg in her face (figuratively speaking of course).

This sparked an outrage among democratic voters that has never been quenched. From instant and total hatred where democratic members of congress boycotted the inauguration and the pink hatted “ladies” demonstrated in The Mall, through the Russian Dossier Hoax, 2 Impeachments and a very real interfered with 2020 election sparking the events of J6 and beyond. If they can do it to him, think what they can do to you?

On Indicting Trump

Shortly after Donald J. Trump announced his run for the presidency the allegations began flowing like water from a broken faucet. One such allegation was that from a hooker or call girl about an affair with Donald Trump some years earlier.

It was immediately denied by Trump, yet at some point one of his lawyers (Cohen) took out a personal loan to pay this hooker $160,000 to keep quiet. There are official documents stating that Cohen acted on his own accord, without the knowledge or permission of Trump. Cohen was never reimbursed or repaid by Trump, his campaign or administration.

When questioned about receiving hush money this hooker (Stormy Daniels) said she was not paid to keep quiet about the affair, because the affair never happened.

When questioned on Fox Trump said up to that point his lawyer Cohen had been a good lawyer, among the hundreds of lawyers employed by Trump. Why Cohen paid Stormy must have been to get in good with Trump.

It seems like such an open and shut case that never was.

I venture to say to the Manhattan DA (Bragg) that instead of indicting a presidential political contender preceding a presidential election, he might consider watching the television series Blue Blood paying close attention to how the DA’s office SHOULD BE CONDUCTING INVESTIGATIONS particularly of this magnitude.

It is my understanding that during Mr. Bragg’s campaign promises, one stood out – if elected he was going to get Donald J. Trump.

During a very recent televised news conference Bragg said that the DA’s office investigates on facts and hard evidence, both seem to be lacking in this case. Bragg said that it was Trump who set up the expectation of being arrested for publicity. Yet it was DA Bragg who opened up a Pandora’s box of publicity which might very well backfire and end his political career and future aspirations.

For the past 6+ years it has been obvious that a political target has been painted on Trump since his announcement in 2015. In every case charges or accusations and outright fabrication of lies have been hurled at Trump only to bounce off, leaving him unscathed. Yet the scars are real, impeached 2 times and exonerated.   

I agree with media talking heads that nothing has deterred Trump from moving forward with his goal of making America better than ever before. Critics keep harping on Trump is all about self, yet it is they who are all about their overall ratings and leveraging leaks and misinformation to the point that Americans are tired of it.

Lady Justice has been said to be blind, at least until hard core democratic politician’s pried open her blindfold and weaponized the Department of Justice and began threatening members of the Supreme Court of the United States. And now they are taking aim, once again at their chief political rival – it will not end well for them. – RTM

Why are you here?

The first five words of the bible, Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created…..” Now think about the God of all creation created man, Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…..” The last twelve words of Genesis 1:31 “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” We could stop there and assess the situation of our own existence, why did God create me?

Have you ever given it some serious thought? Some people seem to be created to make a statement with their life. Others take action that has consequences and quite often we call them either Villains or Heroes. Narrow it down to right here, right now and ask yourself why am I here, alive today, in this period of history and in this nation? What is the reason I exist? What was I made to do?

If you haven’t done that yet it can be a humbling experience. We often spend our whole lives doing what we do, where we are, thinking that we’re an island. We think what we do affects nobody but ourselves. Some might take it further and say that were we not here, nobody would notice.

Let me say that this kind of thinking is absurd. God created us as individuals, no two humans or animals are exactly the same, not even identical twins. God gave each of us intellect (a brain) and what we do with it is totally up to us. We have the ability of building up (creating) or tearing down (destroying) in our minds and through what comes out of our mouths. So when was the last time you fell down on your knees and poured your heart out to Almighty God asking him “What was I created to do?” Was it Yesterday, Today or Never?

I venture to say that each of us have been created with a pre-ordained purpose even before we entered into our mother’s womb. In fact the very evidence that we have a purpose is realized with our birth into this world. Sadly babies who are aborted realize their purpose much sooner.

Jesus told us that the greatest commandment of all is to Love God and Love your neighbor as you love yourself.

Luke 10:27 (NIV) He answered, “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

A huge problem in the world today is for people to feel comfortable in their own skin. Many believe the lie that God made a mistake when he made them. Therefore they may feel they are a male trapped in a female body or vice versa. Some take it even further and hate their neighbor because they disagree politically or over pure trivial stuff. That is how wars begin.

Have you ever said or heard someone else say, “I wish they would go back where they came from” – directing it toward people of a particular race or ethnic group?

Do you know for that to happen the Garden of Eden would have to be expanded exponentially after the Angel of God has been ordered away from his post? Take in all the people who have ever lived and all who are alive today, plus all who will ever live in the future. Do you know how crowded it would be?

Actually statements like that are totally absurd and ridiculous as they have not been fully thought out. I’m reminded of Rodney King’s “Can’t we all just get along?” Maybe we should give serious consideration to the words of Jesus in Luke 10:27.

The real reason we are here is to worship God (our actions, words and deeds) and to tell everyone that God loves you – just the way you are. After all he created you that way.

It is God’s desire that everyone (that means you) come live with him in heaven eternally. That means asking for forgiveness of you sins, making a 180 degree turn away from sin, and following after (seeking) Jesus.

Jesus told the woman at the well – “Go and sin no more” and that is his wish for each of us. – RTM

Americas Political Roller Coaster

Imagine, if you will, getting onboard a long established amusement park roller coaster. Your seat belt is securely fastened and the retaining bar is securely in place. As you look around it’s clear that every seat has been filled. A warning buzzer goes off. It’s beginning to move slowly at first, as you round the first curve and begin the initial climb and the ground is beginning to look smaller and farther below. Then the first drop, so quick but not totally unexpected and it creates a mild rush as the ground moves closer and closer. And then the long, steep climb to the top of this humongous ride as the roller coaster seems to almost be stopping, but then over the top. It begins to speed up, slowly at first until the last car has cleared the top, and then it accelerates to a breathtakingly fast rate of descent, barely making that wide turn and the starting point comes into view. Then the marker approaching the impending stop ahead and you know that unless someone applies the brakes the roller coaster will be hurled off the tracks. You look in horror to see there is nobody at the controls and the roller coaster continues up that first curve at a very high rate of speed.

That my friend is what has happened and is happening in America. We are hurling down the tracks of woke and political correctness over the past 2 years we’ve made that initial curve, climbed a number of hills and descended into many valleys and we’re headed straight into economic failure, but when you look at the political leadership coming from the White House and out of Congress it appears that nobody is in the control room or if in there somewhere they know not what to do.

We have mom and pop voters being fed misinformation that the GOP is bent on destroying our nation, while the DNC is actively destroying America from within while ignoring and/or circumventing the US Constitution (the rule of law in America) choosing which laws to obey, which ones to ignore and/or which laws apply only to GOP voters.

The world’s “super powers” have been making moves of aggression which threaten the entire global community and no free world nation in the international community has made a move to stand up in order to stop the aggression, while American politicians are solely focused on thumping Trump.  

I don’t know about you, but I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired of reading, watching or listening to all of the fabricated drama being fed into the hearts and minds of weak minded Americans. We deserve better, America deserves better.

Since the civil war years there has been one political party that has been dead set against citizenship, voting rights, and equality. This party has fostered the likes of the KKK, rallied against minorities going to Congress, serving in combat during service in the armed forces. This party has fought tooth and nail for abortion rights (which threaten to severely limit or make extinct minority infants). Members of this party as elected officials have greatly enhanced their financial pocketbooks with funds exceeding the salary of a public servant. This party has organized voters, encouraged slander and character assassinations of prominent political figures, while taking aim at registered voters by enticing them with free money, housing, medical, education, food and even free cellphone service as a direct result of voting democrat. No other political party can match their egregious “Gaslighting” accomplishments on the field of politics. Democrats have arbitrarily conducted no-holds-barred politics as usual and given new meaning to political street fighting.

Our nation was founded on the premise that God created all men equal, free to worship God as they desire while being entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness “American” style. If you can’t or won’t buy into that very simple principle then I suggest to you that moving to another country might be in your best interests. – RTM

Under Cover Politics

There is a movement underway to change the United States of America from a Constitutional-Republic to a Constitutional-Democracy. You might think it is semantics or a play on words. You’d be wrong. It actually changes our form of government from its original intent when our nation was formed, into what amounts to a democratic utopia. Is there a difference – yes and our founding fathers knew what they were doing.

The government we have today (2023) is not the way the founding fathers envisioned. In fact there is a provision in the U.S. Constitution for taking an out of control government, reforming it constitutionally, and basically starting over. It’s with a Convention of States, but is this the only way? I don’t think so.

We see our nation divided politically into two main camps Democrats and Republicans as well as a few Independents with Communists and Anarchists thrown in to boot. We identify more with political camps than being American citizens.

In recent years we have a Woke movement that wants Americans to stand down and identify as citizens of the world with no national pride allowed. Men and women of color are told to rise up and take their entitlements by force if necessary. They erroneously state that is how this nation started. White men and women are told to apologize for being white and told to sit down and shut up in public gatherings. Children are being taught that there are 52 or more flavors of sexual orientation to identify with, instead of the 2 genders that God created. We are all told there is not god, but we are all gods of our own making and bling is all that matters (money and power).

Our current legislature has many members who have actively advocated violence and are going after American citizens not because they have violated laws of the United States, but because they dare to believe differently and choose to support a president who was making America better. In their haste to rid this “evil” man, they devised a way to insure he would no longer remain in office and replace him with what amounts to the most unqualified and anti-American president in our nation’s history.

I’m sorry to see the political apparatus of America is broken. Elected officials have been engrossed in padding their financial coffers (getting rich) from there elected offices, fostering an invasion of our nation’s borders, dolling out “free money” to insure compliance to some very disastrous policies which adversely affect our nation’s security.

We must get back to following the Constitution of the United States of America not changing it. We must hold our elected officials accountable for their actions as our representatives and as our senators in Washington D.C. We must remove corrupt elected officials at the ballot boxes of America and bring them to justice.

Don’t be fooled. This nation was created so that man could worship Almighty God without government interference. Nothing, absolutely nothing has taken God by surprise. God is in control.

Jesus said the greatest commandment is that to love God and to love each other as we love ourselves. We are told as much as it depends on us we are to live in peace with all men. – RTM

Choosing Friends and Letting Go

Life is not fair. Often times people cross your path and stay around for a while before moving on. Others seem to move on and yet are back again and again and again. It’s like musical chairs only with people.

When life is going smooth, everything is good and everyone is happy. Then a perceived trigger event occurs and Wa-La they are gone again. It’s hard to understand these so called “Yo-Yo” friends or their motive for coming and going.

Sometimes they leave on their own without rhyme or reason and then appear at your virtual doorstep asking to be let back in. They even say it’s totally your decision and I’m fine with that. But when they fail to get a response they try guilt tripping you into letting them back in.

A wise man once said, “It’s a very imperfect world, and you can’t always choose your friends. That’s life. But you can never fail to recognize your enemies.” (DJT – 2017)

There simply comes a time to live and let go.

Holidays and Observances in the United States

I remember when life was much simpler and we enjoyed what we had without fretting over what we didn’t have.

When it came to celebrating holidays we celebrated those which never changed – New Year’s Day (January 1^st); Lincoln’s Birthday (February 12^th); Valentine’s Day (February 14^th); Washington’s Birthday (February 22^nd); St. Patrick’s Day (March 17^th); Easter Sunday (April 9^th); Mother’s Day (May 14^th); Armed Forces Day (May 20^th); Memorial Day (May 29^th); Father’s Day (June 18^th); Independence Day (July 4^th); Labor Day (September 4^th); Columbus Day (October 9^th); Halloween (October 31^st); Veteran’s Day (November 11^th); Thanksgiving (November 23^rd); & Christmas (December 25^th). Additionally each of the 50 states celebrated their statehood/independence day.

In the United States today we’ve forgotten our national identity and unifying factors and I’ll bet a dollar to a donut that you couldn’t accurately cite every holiday observed in some way shape or fashion in 2023.

Political Correctness has given birth to a myriad of holiday observances that do nothing to unite us as a nation but instead sew division. We’ve gone from celebrating very important landmark events that have brought our nation together, to the point of basically for lack of a better term “given everyone a holiday trophy”.

Our national “leaders” or “thinkers” have decided that certain events/individuals are no longer worthy of our reverence, while countless others MUST be observed – like it or not.

If this doesn’t light your fire then for all practical purposes your fire has been extinguished or has simply gone out. The nation that doesn’t pull together – pulls apart.

The term holiday should be called Holy Day and reserved for celebrating Almighty God who alone deserves all glory and honor and praise. All others are meaningless dribble, chaff in the wind. – RTM

Of Great National Impertinence

It’s a well-known fact that the Democratic Party’s biggest fear is not of a crashing economy, or the threat to world peace and surely not the invasion of our southern border, but the fear of former President Donald J. Trump winning the 2024 election for another term.

During previous elections it was precautionary to protect the birth certificate and educational records of then Senator Barrack H. Obama.

Just as it was convenient to downplay the fact that then Secretary Hillary R. Clinton used a private server to transmit sensitive documents potentially disclosing information of national importance, and she even lost 35,000 emails because she had her server wiped clean.

Don’t forget the Hunter Biden laptop, left at a local computer repair shop with damaging information implementing then former Vice President Joe Biden in a widespread financial scandal that compromised the office he once held and now jeopardizes the office of the President.

In each case it was deemed appropriate and proper protocol to not go after a political presidential candidate during the campaign season, until along came big bad “Orange man” Donald J. Trump. It then became a street brawl with no rules (for democrats). As the Saul Alinsky rulebook would clearly say, use their own rules against them because they can’t break their own rules. We have seen over the past 6 years New York’s Attorney General’s office has assumed wrongdoing on Trump’s part and set out to prove it, so much for innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

This vendetta has become a case of great national impertinence where it has become fashionable, if not politically trendy to treat the former president with insolence, irrelevance, incivility and inappropriately because he is a self-made man who ventured into the political arena without permission and upset the democratic apple cart. – RTM

What is the Opposite?

I recently listened to a sermon where part of the topic was about “opposites”. We say it a lot without really analyzing what it means to be opposite of something. However this topic needs to be nailed down, taken apart and studied in greater detail.

And then we have Newton’s third law of motion, “an equal and opposite reaction to every action”.  

We mistakenly think that everything or everyone has an opposite. That simply is not true.

Can you name one person who has no equal (opposite)?

The sermon I was listening to turned to certain things not being things at all.

It’s something being the lack or absence of something which we think of in terms of opposites.

Isn’t that a mouth full (don’t answer, it’s rhetorical)?

Here are some of examples used in the sermon:

Darkness isn’t a thing at all it’s the absence of light.

Silence isn’t a thing either it’s the absence of sound.

Taking it further then standing still is the absence of motion.

Left is the opposite of right and vice versa.

Up is the opposite of down.

East is the opposite of west.

North is the opposite of south.

The genders of male and female are quite the opposite of each other, but when joined together in marriage they become one flesh – they are wed.

There are no other genders, only illusions of the mind.

We often think that the opposite of good is evil because they are diametrically opposed, but that’s not true either because only God is good and evil cannot be equally opposite to God who has no equal. Remember I said earlier that there is one person who has no equal and that person is the Creator God.

We are constantly bombarded in life to the point of thinking that politically there are only left or right, wrong or right, haves and have nots.

We have forgotten that in the sight of Almighty God we are all created equal and in His image. There are no favorites with God. Nobody has to or can ever “earn” the love of God. God’s love is unconditional.

In truth Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Mark 12: 30-31

The trouble is that the man who doesn’t know God doesn’t love himself and therefore cannot love his neighbor as he loves himself.

The way out is found in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Hate is not a thing, but the absence of love. True love comes only from God. (No God no love) However always, always, always love trumps hate. – RTM

A Writer

I never really fancied myself as a writer’s writer. Early on I’d make so many mistakes just trying to put my thoughts on paper that I’d simply give up. As a child I could never afford writing paper, tablets, journals or the like yet I found myself enveloped in one adventure after another by the books I read.

What is the purpose of writing, to become famous and sell lots of books? Anyone can string words together into sentences and paragraphs while following the proper protocols of writing. There are educational venues, specialized schools of journalism and writing with a central theme or purpose of getting everyone on the same page.

In school I was never at the top of my class. Dyslexia made reading difficult. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever consider venturing into the writer’s world. So I never really “got” what it took to become a really good writer.

I tell everyone that in life you got to have a “want to” in order to do or stop doing something. It could be an agenda, a goal, or a reason to write. There are different types of writers. Subject matter experts write on what they know or have learned over time with experience. Fantasy writers speculate on the “what ifs” of adventure. Writers of horror stories write to exploit the in ornate fear of man. Political writers write to embellish or slander politicians. Subtle writers draw you into the story until you feel as if you’re really there, living every word on each page.

The Bible tells us that God created by speaking words. It goes on to tell us that words bring either life or death. For the writer to put words on paper is no different that someone speaking words into the air. It behooves us to be mindful of what we do, say or write.

Looking back I guess I became a writer with the advent of typewriters, word processors and computers. In the military there were reports to write, assessments to put down on paper and instructions relayed to subordinates. Often I’d find myself proofreading the reports of others. Taking higher education courses required precise writing of computer code giving instructions to have the desired output. A number of times I’d attempt to write my biography or history of my military career, only to scrap it at the last moment.

A serious event in my life which I titled “Adrift in the Panama Canal” was my stab at documenting the capsizing of a small fishing boat and the life or death struggle of two real life scuba divers. My initial goal was to have the article published however my writing skills were not perfected yet. More recently I did manage to write a blogpost detailing the event.

For me writing is not about tabulating the number of readers or seeking their comments, it’s about presenting the truth in a way that compels the reader to give it serious thought. There are times where I might even misuse a word, or use the wrong word. I assure you it is unintentional. What I consider a cardinal sin of writing is when misinformation and/or slanderous articles are intentionally written and passed on as truth, and then picked up by others and spread like gossip across the face of the planet.

There have been times that I’ve been asked serious questions about certain people and when answering those questions with facts, my written answers are tossed aside as rubbish, because a preconceived notion based on misinformation is more acceptable than fact. I’m reminded of the saying “not to argue with a fool because he’ll beat you with experience and others will not be able to tell the difference”. Or another saying “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt”.

Writing is about choosing battles. Not every battle is one you should fight. Not every fight will you win. When I write it is to educate, entertain, or inform and quite often it’s simply because I can. Writing doesn’t make me better or smarter it’s just my way of coping in a world gone haywire. – RTM
