The Divided States of America – the Red, Black and Blue

Like never before in the history of our nation have the people of this country become so divided that unity is no longer expected or tolerated. Prior to the war of Independence the colonists were divided about separating from the Crown or charting their own course. During the Civil War between the north and the south it was families who were divided – either Blue or Gray. While a lot has changed over the years the one thing that has not changed has simply become louder and loud enough to drown out the voice of reason is hate. Instead of learning to get along, we have learned how to hate with intensity such as the world has never seen.

Why could we not learn from history?

After the Civil War there were raiders wearing white sheets wreaking havoc across the south, causing fear and trembling as they began lynching by the color of one’s skin.

As our nation expanded westward and grew from sea to shining sea this great land became “civilized” according to American standards and nobody was exempt. It was change or die.

Through two world wars American’s fought and died to bring peace to a world at war and freedom to people under siege from savage dictatorships. We spurred a period of regrowth and technological advancement to those who had been our enemies.

In today’s age of enlightenment we have become a nation of Red and Blue states, where political ideology has taken preference over common sense. With live reporting, the internet and social media we have allowed ourselves to be swayed like a tree in the wind. We have no roots, except what the political talking heads say we have (truth has no bearing).

The political party which spawned the KKK now directs and expects people of color to vote straight party line or be shamed into submission. The political party of Lincoln has become worse than a paper tiger, high on protocol and low on ethical standards.

Have we forgotten the lessons of the past, or are we content to change the past into something we feel is more pleasant?

The Constitution of the United States of America is the rule of law to protect US Citizens from an out of control government. The Constitution is the bedrock upon which our nation bases its ethical standards and is based upon the biblical standards of God, where everyone is created equal by our creator (not government or social media) and the purpose of government is to serve and protect the American people from exterior and interior threats.

Old Glory is the Red, White and Blue, not the Red Black and Blue that comes from struggling with each other and fighting among ourselves.

Patriotism is truly American, standing for the Flag, pledging allegiance to the Flag and protecting the Constitution from all attacks, foreign and domestic – so help us God!

When law makers in Congress decide that revoking or changing a law is just too much, but condone ignoring laws that make our nation less safe, they have in fact become law breakers and must be held accountable by their constituents who voted them into office. – RTM

Bad Behavior during the State of the Union

When Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) heckled Obama “You’re a liar” during his 2009 SOTU speech he shocked members of Congress and had to formerly apologize for his outburst. Wilson was subsequently officially rebuked by a congressional vote on the floor of the House. It was seen as an act of great disrespect toward the President of the United States. The Capitol Police arrested Gold Star dad Steve Nikoui for heckling Biden during his 2024 SOTU speech, and those charges were later dropped.

I began wondering why the double standard? I can’t forget the contempt and disrespect toward Trump his entire 4 year term, and the subsequent 4 years after by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) from the floor of the House, on television and seemingly at every opportunity. It was when Speaker Pelosi shocked the nation creating a very public spectacle by tearing up her copy of Trump’s 2020 SOTU as he was ending his speech during a joint session of congress. Pelosi’s act was deliberate and extremely disrespectful, but was seen as a heroic act by the left. There havre been no accountability or penalties for her actions or her disrespect. Why not?

It’s disheartening to see grown adults behaving like children, especially when there is no adult supervision. The American people deserve better.

These sayings of Thomas Jefferson speak volumes some 240 years later and appear more relevant today than when they were first given:

The time is now to closely examine those serving in public office as elected or appointed officials and decide that the governmental status quo is bad for our nation and our fellow citizens. – RTM

The Wrecking Ball

By now nobody wants to hear, read or talk about the most politically obsessed about man in the history of our country so why does he continue to be the political flavor of the day? It’s ironic that this obsession plays right into the hands of the man they are trying to destroy. I’ve read that he considers publicity that costs him nothing is very valuable because it keeps his name in the public forum.

Political Correctness continues to plague mankind with all kinds of manmade “don’ts”, i.e. “don’t use male and female”; “don’t say man or woman”; “don’t associate colors with race – except white is bad”; “patriotism is anti-American”; “religion is bad”; or “there is no God”; and ultimately “MAGA equates to white supremacy”; or the latest “don’t say illegal, say newcomers or undocumented”.

I’m sure you know many more political taboos that we are told not to use, say or do. We are to trust the science, trust the government and only trust democratic politicians. We are told that history as it is written is wrong and attempts to re-write history are ongoing as statues and names are being replaced by “politically correct statues and names”.

I watched a foreign production of a program on a history-type channel that quoted statistics on slavery and human-trafficking that 6M people were taken from the African continent and brought to the Americas (South – Central – North America). Out of those 6M human slaves only 250,000 came to the United States. What was missing was naming the culprits who did the actual kidnapping of humans and selling them to the unnamed slave ship captains for money.

If these statistics are to be believed we must realize that what we are being told is one big lie after another like the false narrative that Trump is a racist and a bigot as told to us by some of the biggest names in politics as if they were standing before a mirror and naming their own faults.

In 2007 American prophet Kim Clement received a prophetic word that God had chosen Donald J. Trump to be a future president. Mr. Clement had health issues that prevented him from telling it to Trump, and Clement subsequently died on 24 November 2016.  

In 2011 Retired Firefighter Mark Taylor received a prophetic word from God that Donald Trump had been chosen by God to become president with a specific objective to stop evil that was overtaking the United States. Taylor did not know or speak to Trump about what God had revealed to him, however what came out of the words from Taylor became a worldwide prayer chain praying for the safety of Donald Trump during the election and peaceful transfer of power from Obama to Trump. In 2015 before the 2016 election, Texas businessman Lance Wallnau heard from God that “Donald Trump is a wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness” and “The next President of the United States will be the forty-fifth president, and he will be an Isaiah 45 president.” Those words were then spoken to Donald Trump in the presence of a number of African-American church pastors and leaders who were also members of the Democratic Party. I honestly don’t think that anyone (except God) knew how intense the politically correct backlash would become or continues to be to this day. It’s like God placed Donald Trump as a willing obstacle, a sword to the spirit of political correctness knowing full well that the pushback would be so great that only God himself could contain it. Trump has repeatedly said in his rallies “It’s not about me, they are after you but I’m standing in the way.”

We are seeing more and more political correct resistance than ever before and I don’t think it’s all out in the open yet and that may be why it continues to intensify as we get closer to the Presidential Election of 2024. Just look at what is happening to our country as our own government viciously attacks American industry and our citizenry’s way of life and faith not in religion, but our faith in God. We are led to believe that women have the right to abort, yet the babies being aborted have no rights. We are told children have the right to choose their preferred sexual status while parents have no rights or say in the matter. In fact everyone has the right to choose their gender pronoun or none, and God was wrong when He created only male and female.

Our nation is headed in the wrong direction when we normalize and justify actions and behavior that are contrary to God’s natural order.

When the Pharisees questioned Jesus over casting demons out of a demon possessed man Jesus responded in Matthew 12:25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”

God did not sanction Trump a continuous second term as president but I feel that “The Wrecking Ball” still has a role to play in the future of our nation. This is evident by the sheer volume of trumped up charges and legal actions meant to take Trump out of the 2024 election race all together.

The bible tells us clearly that we do not have the mind of God and are not to lean on our own understanding trying to “figure out” what or how God is going to work this out.

It’s not by might, nor by power, but by MY SPIRIT says the Lord of Hosts.

Whether you like it or not, God will be glorified as America will be made great again or if God wills, it will simply cease to exist.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, a born again believer, bought by the blood of the Lamb how can you believe the lies, stand by and do nothing. When we are weak, God is strong and we are told that the prayers of a righteous man availeth much.

Join me in prayer for our nation and its leaders, and for God’s people to take a stand (on their knees in prayer) for justice and that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. – RTM

Violating the Rights of a US Citizen for Political Purposes

New York Attorney General Letitia James has made good on her campaign promise that she would “get Trump” and he would know her name on a personal level. After Judge Arthur Engoron ruled against Trump and levied an unheard of and unreasonable “fine” where the bond is in the neighborhood of $500B payable by Monday or Trump could face seizure of his assets, just so he can appeal the court ruling.

What was Trumps crime? According to the prosecutor it was overvaluing his assets to secure government backed loans. Judge Engoron banned Trump from being involved in any business in New York State for the next 3 years and went after Trumps two elder sons as well.

This legal action is seen as a political hit job on President Biden’s chief political rival and a continuation of the insurrection over the past 8 years to remove Trump from political office and insure he is unable to return to the office of the presidency.

Sound fair to you? Does this seem reasonable? What if the state goes after you?

AG James forgot one important point as she was campaigning and after she was elected – The Bill of Rights (the 10 Amendments of the US Constitution) which protect US Citizens from a government (NY AG) gone out of control.

Amendments 1 – 10

The First Amendment provides that Congress make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise. It protects freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The Second Amendment gives citizens the right to bear arms.

The Third Amendment prohibits the government from quartering troops in private homes, a major grievance during the American Revolution.

The Fourth Amendment protects citizens from unreasonable search and seizure. The government may not conduct any searches without a warrant, and such warrants must be issued by a judge and based on probable cause.

The Fifth Amendment provides that citizens not be subject to criminal prosecution and punishment without due process. Citizens may not be tried on the same set of facts twice, and are protected from self-incrimination (the right to remain silent). The amendment also establishes the power of eminent domain, ensuring that private property is not seized for public use without just compensation.

The Sixth Amendment assures the right to a speedy trial by a jury of one’s peers, to be informed of the crimes with which they are charged, and to confront the witnesses brought by the government. The amendment also provides the accused the right to compel testimony from witnesses, and to legal representation.

The Seventh Amendment provides that civil cases also be tried by jury.

The Eighth Amendment prohibits excessive bail, excessive fines, and cruel and unusual punishments.

The Ninth Amendment states that the list of rights enumerated in the Constitution is not exhaustive, and that the people retain all rights not enumerated.

The Tenth Amendment assigns all powers not delegated to the United States, or prohibited to the states, to either the states or to the people.

It seems that AG James has gone for broke and in concert with Judge Engoron have violated almost every Amendment meant to protect US Citizens from an abusive government and as elected officials they can be Impeached and removed from office.

Congress has issued Articles of Impeachment for acts in three general categories:

1. Exceeding the constitutional bounds of the powers of the office.

2. Behavior grossly incompatible with the proper function and purpose of the office.

3. Employing the power of the office for an improper purpose or for personal gain.

Maybe she just didn’t know…. Ya think?

Or it could be because Trump is what she could never be – A former President who is a successful businessman who is a rich white male.

What do you think the chances are of Trump suing New York State, the NY AG’s office, Judge Arthur Engoron and Letitia James personally for liable, defamation, character assassination, political prosecution and demand restitution in kind from “each entity”?

Constitutional Trivia

The Constitution of the United States of America is the law of the land and protects US citizens from an abusive government (Federal, State, County or City).

It does not give special rights or privileges to visitors, tourists or immigrants.

It does not give gun rights.

It does not give the right to abort, kill, maim or injure another.

It does not give voting rights to non-citizens.

It does not give anyone the right to free stuff (food, shelter, clothing, education or housing).

It does not give anyone the right to defame, slander or character assassination.

All who enter this country MUST abide by the Constitution – including politicians!

My Boating Experience

In Panama my diving buddy had a 10’ – 12’ john boat that we used when going on a dive in Gatun Lake on Sunday afternoons. It had an outboard motor, oars and fit nicely in the back of my 1973 Ford Pinto Station Wagon.

One Sunday afternoon around Easter 1976 we had quite an experience that almost took us both out permanently. While returning after our dive (air tanks were empty) we came upon a convoy of Army LCMs taking some poor infantry troops into the jungle for training. My dive buddy (never dive alone) was a medic with an infantry unit at Fort Davis in the Canal Zone. We both lived in housing at Fort Davis, and we were both stationed there. As each LCM passed the waves began having a rippling effect and our little john boat rocked with each wave. By the time the last LCM passed by us, our boat became a submarine and went completely under water, before bobbing to the surface upside down. We righted the boat, partially submerged and full of water, so we began guiding it toward a nearby island and didn’t notice the underwater tree branch that poked a hole in the bottom of the boat until we beached it on the shore. We took stalk of what we had (all our drain plug and diving gear were gone) and we had one oar and the lid of our tackle box which was tied to the boat. By now it was around 3pm and after plugging the holes with branches we launched the boat only to find the engine wouldn’t start. After removing the spark plug and pulling the starting rope a couple of times, reinstalling the spark plug the engine came alive. We continued our way towards the Gatun pier where the car was parked. As we approached the major shipping lane in the Panama Canal we fell right behind a huge tanker and began following it. That’s when the engine shut off (it was out of gas). We couldn’t help but notice another tanker behind us so we hurriedly moved over to the side of the channel so it could overtake and pass by us. By now it was after 7 pm and we were a tiny dark spot on a very dark body of water. As we made our way – one person rowing, the other bailing water with the tackle box lid, we weren’t getting very far fast. We considered beaching for the night and trying again at daybreak but it was so cold and we had no fire. That meant continuing on – marker buoy to marker buoy until finally there were no more buoys between us and the pier which still seemed a couple of miles away. It was close to midnight when we heard the sound of an outboard motor in the darkness. We began beating on our boat with the oar until the other motor throttled down and shut off. We kept banging on the boat. Finally a flashlight shown in our direction and we were spotted. The boat fired up and came alongside. We cast a rope and they towed us to the pier and then continued headed into town with vegetables for market. We loaded the boat in the back of the car and headed for the base. The military policeman told us to report to our unit duty sergeant that we were back. After dropping my dive buddy and his boat I headed to my unit. When I reported in the guy on duty said, “Did you go somewhere”? I told him to write in in the duty log. That officially ended my diving career as I couldn’t afford to replace the dive gear lost in an estimated 85’ deep lake. – RTM

Have you ever gotten sent to the “FB” jail or doghouse because you violated FB community standards?

There are consequences you know.

Since the internet is an international, global network of computers they comprise an international community with varying standards which may be okay in countries, outlawed in other countries and banned in still other countries.

So which standards exactly did you violate?

Recently FB took down one of my posts and I had a caution flag on my FB page which said, “We took down your post because it appeared that you are looking for likes.” So it appeared I violated the “likes” standard? Is there a law that prohibits getting likes? More directly how does one go looking for “likes”?

As I began to challenge or voice my opinion on my post, I thought it might actually be thoughtful to know exactly what post they took down. When I clicked on the FB flag, a message appeared that the post in question could not be seen (they took it down). Apparently showing me the post would be a violation of their community standards.

The only option I could find was to select a response that indicated that FB may have misunderstood my post. FB said it would take between 7-14 days for them to take another look at the post (so they do have it, but not able to tell or show me the post). It’s now been 2 – 3 weeks and I still don’t know whether they put the post back up, or decided that it in fact did violate their community standard.

As I said earlier there are consequences. I could have been put in jail, removed and banned from FB altogether or worse……..RTM

Let’s Talk About Gun Control (Updated)

In light of what seems to be a reoccurrence of violence involving gun toting bad guys and the never ending aim of controlling law abiding citizens with guns, it’s time to take a closer look at what is being controlled (It certainly isn’t the bad guys with guns).

Gun Control MUST begin by controlling BAD GUYS WITH GUNS! Stopping an immediate threat BEFORE someone gets hurt or killed, arresting, prosecuting and imprisoning violent offenders is a must.

So don’t be fooled by President Biden bragging in his SOTU speech that he’s proud to have beaten the NRA and is for gun control of automatic weapons or large capacity magazines or what’s being reported in the news to cause fear and panic and a rush to judgement against our right and ability for self-defense.

Guns don’t kill people.

Bad guys with guns (any caliber) kill people.

Good guys with guns STOP bad guys.

During the western expansion period in areas known as the Wild West it seemed that desperadoes roamed about blasting away as they wished using their side arms and rifles. Town’s folk feared for their lives and US Marshals, Sheriff Deputies or Texas Rangers sworn to keep the peace had to reign in the unruly. Suddenly the old west was populated with “gun free zones” where the only people with guns were lawmen. Violators were either arrested or shot dead and put on public display as a warning.

Fast forward to the Roaring Twenties and the era of Al Capone, Bonnie and Clyde and a whole host of new baddies who robbed banks or people to line their own greedy pockets. Next were the mobs and a whole lot of bad guys with guns. Soon unions were the thing to represent the workers and keep them from being taken advantage of by big business.

In the 50s and 60s everyone who owned guns, learned to use them responsibly and safely and before the necessity to lock doors, windows and vehicles – guns were openly carried in gun racks. Parents taught their children about gun safety and soon schools, scout troops and organizations like the NRA sprang up to insure uniformity in training and issue certificates for successful completion.

As robberies, shootings and deaths attributed to gun violence began to rise in the public consciousness efforts began to remove guns from the hands of law abiding gun owners, demonize the NRA and prevent citizens from defending themselves from bad guys with guns.

It wasn’t long before courts were overflowing with criminal cases involving guns and soon charges were dropped and the bad guys were back on the street the same day.

Does any of this sound familiar?

We are at a point where good guys with guns, stopping bad guys with guns often end up in jail while the bad guys with guns are back on the streets.

Do you want to curb gun violence?

Do you want to stop the senseless killings, shootings, robberies and violence?

The only way might be to revert back to the days of the Wild Wild West where bad guys with guns are stopped cold by good guys with guns, and survivors are arrested and charged with the severity of crimes against people. When someone’s life is taken by a bad guy with a gun, his life should be the price to pay.

There are no “assault” rifles. There are rifles and people assault people with guns, knives and broken bottles or whatever is available. One properly trained in firearm safety can stop a whole host of baddies and save countless lives.

There is no such thing as gun control. There is self-control. It’s called headspace and timing.

The Constitution guarantees the right of American citizens to own and bear arms.

There is no guarantee to commit crimes using guns – prosecute and punish bad guys with guns who commit crimes using gun violence. See something, do something – save lives. – RTM

Trojan Horses American Style

Remember the story of the Trojan horse that was a gift to an army inside a walled city, taken inside and when all were asleep a hidden force came out from inside the horse and destroyed the defending army?

When George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis, a little know group called Black Lives Matters protested his being killed by marching in the street. They had BLM banners and flags and stirred up quite a fuss, or did they? I remember reading reports of a huge number of unscheduled aircraft coming in under the cover of darkness landing and unloading passengers from where – nobody knew. When the rioting, looting and mayhem began it took peaceful protesting to a whole new level. The attention of the nation and the world was focused on this tragedy.

When on January 6, 2021 the Nation’s Capital Building was besieged by MAGA supporters with banners and flags, red hats and placards. What was not publicized was the fact that a number of individuals with the same MAGA trappings were escorted into the Capital Building ahead of the actual MAGA crowd, who were later invited inside the lower level. When the “rebellion” began, offices were broken into, trash was strewn about and a single shot rang out, killing a retired female USAF military police officer. The Electoral College ballot presentations were stopped as members of Congress and the Vice President were escorted to safety. Afterwards the ballots were certified and Biden became the President-Elect.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist however the similarities in both of the above scenarios leaves too much left unsaid. In each case above the influx of persons unknown posing as either BLM or MAGA changed otherwise peaceful protests into acts of violence aimed at casting blame on a segment of society who believes that American can be great again.

While President Trump was falsely accused of inciting and leading an insurrection, which would have been impossible for him to do (topple himself), he was charged by the January 6^th Committee of going against the will of Congress??

This was followed immediately by the apprehension, arrest and confinement (PURGE) of MAGA supporters who posted online that they were present in DC on January 6^th or were at the MAGA rally and went to the Capital Building. This according to House Speaker Pelosi was an assault on the nation’s Temple of Democracy, which was then fortified with fences and select armed non-MAGA National Guard soldiers.

The real Trojan horse in America is the Democratic Party, who puts themselves out as taking care of the working class Americans, while punishing the rich to pay their fair share and giving free stuff to people who then become indebted to the government simply for their vote.

Who is Your Allegiance To?

We live in a time where following, subscribing and liking someone or something is akin to professing allegiance to. Don’t tell me that you have no allegiances because then you’d be lying. Everyone has a tie to the place they were born, where they came from, the city in which they now live or the nation they call their own.

Some have declared their allegiance to places, property or things. The one with the most wins. Another word for allegiance is loyalty. When we are born we are dependent upon and loyal to family. Some become loyal to an adopted family. Others seeking love and approval become loyal to a clan or gang while climbing the hierarchy or tribal status or leadership.

Politically we favor an individual and the party to which they belong. As we grow in knowledge we tend to see things that benefit us personally and favor the political party who gives us the most satisfaction. We tend to shy away from other parties when we see them as the enemy.

As followers of Christ (Christians) we must remind ourselves that we are in the world, but not of the world. Our standard bearer is Jesus Christ and our desire is to serve him and no other.

Jesus said we can’t serve two masters; we will love the one and hate the other; and the love of money is the root of all evil – so I ask who do you follow, like, subscribe to, or give your whole-hearted allegiance to. – RTM
