I can’t believe the nonsense that’s going on in Washington with President Biden shutting down the Keystone XL Pipeline amid the COVID-19 pandemic, while paving the way to remove sanctions and thereby allowing Russia’s Nord Stream 2 Pipeline to continue and calling it in the national interest of the United States, while taking absolutely no official response to the Russian hackers who shut down the Colonial Pipeline affecting the petroleum distribution in 17 eastern states – all in the first 100 days of his Biden-Harris Administration. Also unbelievable is the fact that Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is attempting to shut down the pipeline going through her state.
Is all this happening so that American’s will jump on the electric vehicle bandwagon?
I don’t claim to be the smartest crayon in the box but saying a vast majority of Americans and all federal government agencies convert their motor fleet to eVehicles what signal does that send to fossil fuel and coal industry workers? Then when coal fired plants begin shutting down, even more workers are out of jobs and the shareholders of the major automobile industries and those contributing to the manufacturing and operation of these eVehicles begin raking in the big bucks, what happens when the bottom falls out from under them?
I doubt that Congressional Democrats and Republicans who tout AOC’s New Green Deal – sorry “The Biden Deal” are prepared for the fallout or the consequences of making America dependent upon a non-sustainable energy source.
And in the event of an all-out war with our sworn enemies and our tanks begin rolling into combat, who do they call when those massive Abrams Tank batteries fail? What about the F35’s rolling down the runway and the signal to abort flashes briefly before crashing?
But not to worry because the US Postal Service will be delivering the mail through snow, sleet, hail and rain until their batteries fail…..again. – I am the Real Truckmaster!
