Never Enough

I just want to ask one question. When is enough, enough? Going all the way back to the Garden of Eden, Eve was created out of one of Adams ribs. They walked and talked with Almighty God. They had everything they ever needed and wanted for nothing. So what happened? Temptation over what could be. Ever since then there has never been enough.

Moses talked with God and saw God in the fiery bush that was not consumed. More importantly God talked to Moses and gave him the stone tablet with the Ten Commandments, man’s guideline in life to obey.

The Ten Commandments

Exodus 20 New International Version (NIV)

20 And God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

13 “You shall not murder.

14 “You shall not commit adultery.

15 “You shall not steal.

16 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

So I ask you again when is enough, enough? Has America lost its moral compass?

The Ten Commandments monument at the Oklahoma state Capitol was destroyed in 2014 and the vandal was hospitalized in a mental hospital deemed unfit to stand trial.

A 2015 act approved placing the Ten Commandments monument on the grounds of the Arkansas Capitol grounds and that monument lasted less than 24 hours after it was installed. A second monument was installed in 2017 and has since drawn protests by various groups claiming it is unconstitutional and the Satanic Temple plans to sue the state of Arkansas.

On 16 August 2018, a bronze goat-headed satanic statue called Baphomet was presented by the Satanic Temple on a semitrailer to the public in front of the Capitol Building paying tribute to the head of this ungodly snake.

And People cheered and took pictures!

Since 2015 we have seen an increase in craziness as the spirit of political correctness has brought an increase in madness out of plain old common sense. This is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy concerning the rise of the anti-Christ.

Throughout all of this turmoil God is still in control. Christians are continuing to pray, asking God for favor and as we honor Jesus who is Christ and believe in faith God is answering our prayers. As we continue to pray we see strongholds being torn down, insolence has also increased, we see resistance, intolerance, hatred and even outright stupidity coming from every direction. Yet we are encourage and told not to fear because the Lord our God is with us.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

We know that these things must come to pass to fulfill God’s plan as the Second Coming of Jesus is rapidly approaching. Man cannot serve two masters and we must each choose who we will serve God or satan. Choose this day who YOU will serve, your eternal destination depends on it.
