American Independence 2020
The United States of America is a nation where the Rule of Law is the Constitution and is based on biblical principles. The Bill of Rights (first 10 Amendments), spell out our God given rights which government cannot freely take away, but can only be given up.
From the moment our founding fathers gathered together and framed our purpose in the Preamble to the Constitution:
“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
To live freely though self-government and to worship God freely without the constraints of government.
Men, women and children have fought to remain free yet the freedom we enjoy as Americans has always subject to attack. Freedom has been defended and paid for with the blood, sweat and tears of Americans with many paying the ultimate sacrifice.
America is not perfect but like a chain only as strong as its weakest link. After 244 years we are seeing those weak links more clearly than ever before. Although our enemies are many, we are our own worst enemy when we take no pride in our nation, our people and their accomplishments. If it not for a loving God blessing his people, his creation and this nation America would be just a nation no different than any other.
It has been written that absolute power corrupts absolutely. We can see this in our corrupt political system where a lifetime of political power leads to corruption, misery, and a life of sorrow.
We are seeing the results of corruption in our educational system. I firmly believe that becoming a teacher is about being called to teach. People who can – do and people who can’t – do nothing and more importantly should never teach. Yesteryears unsatisfied youth have become today’s unsatisfied educational professors and college deans. Today’s institutions of higher learning have become indoctrination centers where the American Dream must be totally crushed to make room for an altered reality. History has become what the writer’s write and vastly different than what was lived. Youth of today have become politicized keyboard warriors who run around like dogs chasing their tails. They could not recognize the truth if they were hit squarely in their face.
America is at a political crossroads in the history of this nation. The resurgence of American pride will overcome the division and discord that has spread across the face of this great land. As I have said America is not perfect, but struggles daily to become a more perfect Union, not staying in the past but striving ahead toward what the future holds. The choice is yours America – the land of the free, home of the brave or the land of the offended?
We are one people under God indivisible, a hardworking people protecting our families while building a stronger nation. It is written that nothing is impossible with God and those who trust in him have nothing to fear for he has promised never to leave us, nor forsake us in good times and in bad times. American Christians must stand up and walk in power that comes only from Almighty God. Remember that evil wins when good men do nothing – Suit Up! – I am the Real Truckmaster!
