After the Trump-Kim Summit What’s Next?

After The Trump-Kim Summit What’s Next?

On June 12th, 2018 the historic Singapore Summit between President Donald J. Trump and Leader Kim Jong Un of the DPRK agreed to denuclearize all weapons, stockpiles and factories in an agreement that would reduce or remove sanctions on his beleaguered government affecting millions of Koreans living north of the DMZ. It’s a fact that since the end of Korean War hostilities there has never been a declared end to that war.

By Leader Kim signing a document pledging to President Trump and to the United States the voluntary, total, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of North Korea just doesn’t make it happen.  There must be action and results.

This is a great first step and here is something to think about – never before has the President of the United States and the Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea ever sat down or met face-to-face to discuss North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Program or anything for that matter. This is a historical first for an American President, and a clear demonstration of the art of the deal by President Trump.

We must not get drawn into a false sense of security or think the nuclear threat is over, it is not. Before anything can change it will take action and it was President Trump who said it will take results on the part of Leader Kim and the DPRK.

Except for the meeting of the two leaders, we’ve been down this road with the DPRK before many times with KJU’s father and grandfather and each time the results have been betrayal of similar agreements by North Korea, resulting in sanctions which have hurt the people more than the government.

We can be hopeful that establishing a relationship between the two leaders of these two nations will lead to the action necessary to begin normalizing relations with the DPRK and the rest of the world.

The next steps are crucial and must begin with the DPRK and under close and verifiable supervision. The DPRK nuclear arsenal must be gathered from the four corners of North Korea, where they must be disassembles, loaded on ships for transportation to designated locations outside the DPRK. The equipment and factories must be totally dissembled or destroyed so as never to be usable again. All documentation must be collected, analyzed and then destroyed as well. An international team of inspectors must be given full and complete access to the entire nuclear program, arsenal and factories to insure this is done in a verifiable fashion. Once the process has been completed, then and only then will sanctions be lifted from the DPRK and international aid and assistance begin.

In the event of any deviation from this process must be met with military might (as needed) in order to bring the DPRK back to the negotiation table.

What is also hopeful is that the American people can lay aside their political differences to get behind this president in a show of national unity to see this as a truly historic event with worldwide consequences.

Americans do not have to “pledge allegiance to the Trump” nor even like the president or the actions which some find distasteful or bring up a foul taste in their mouths, but take out the mouthwash, swish it around a few times (2 minutes) then spit it out and move on.

I challenge the members of Congress to reconsider their present stance against President Trump in order to show the American people and the world that the United States of America is “one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. So help us God” (Sound familiar?) – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Back Story on North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Program

The Back Story on North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Program

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea as it turns out is a bit of a puzzle which has been going on for quite some time. American presidents have been dealing toward stopping the North Korean military nuclear program without any success since the early 1962 with President John F. Kennedy. Never has an American President conducted face-to-face talks with the DPRK leader to negotiate a Total, Verifiable and Irreversible De-Nuclearization of North Korea, until the historical Singapore Summit between President Donald J. Trump and Leader Kim Jong Un on June 12, 2018.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_states_with_nuclear_weapons

Eight countries have successfully detonated nuclear weapons. Five countries are considered Nuclear Weapon States (NWS) under the terms of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). In order of acquisition of nuclear weapons: USA, Russia, UK, France and China.

Since the NPT went into force in 1970, 3 countries were not parties to the treaty have conducted nuclear tests: India, Pakistan and North Korea (withdrew from the NPT in 2003).

Israel is generally understood to have nuclear weapons, but does not acknowledge it while maintaining a policy of deliberate ambiguity. It is estimated to possess between 75 and 400 nuclear warheads.

Countries that formerly possessed nuclear weapons: South Africa (developed, then disassembled before joining NPT and former Soviet republics: Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.

In 1963 the Soviet Union refused to help North Korea in developing nuclear weapons, as did the Chinese a bit later. Soviet engineers took part in construction of the Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center in North Korea and began conducting an IRT-2000 research reactor in1963, it became operational in1965, then upgraded to 8 MW in 1974. In 1979 North Korea began to build in Yongbyon a second research reactor, an ore processing plant and a fuel rod fabrication plant.

As the North Korean nuclear weapons program dates back to the 1980s, focusing on practical uses of nuclear energy and completion of a nuclear weapons development system, North Korea began to operate facilities for uranium fabrication and conversion and conducted high-explosive detonation tests.

In 1985 North Korea ratified the NPT but did not include the required safeguards agreement with the IAEA until 1992. In 1993 the IAEA concluded the North Korean declaration as incomplete, which they reported to the UN Security Council.

In 1994 the U.S. government signed an agreement to facilitate the supply of two light water reactors to North Korea in exchange for North Korean disarmament. The Agreed Framework fell apart in 2002 and Pakistan admitted that North Korea gained access to Pakistan’s nuclear technology in the late 1990s.

The U.S. accused North Korea of non-compliance and halted oil shipments. In 2003 North Korea withdrew from the NPT. In 2005 North Korea vowed to close the nuclear program.

On October 9, 2006 North Korea announced it had successfully conducted its first nuclear test with an underground explosion. On January 6, 2017 North Korea confirmed it had nuclear weapons.

On March 17, 2007 North Korea announced it was preparing to shut down its main nuclear facility. This was an agreement with a series of six-party talks: North Korea, South Korea, China, Russia, Japan and the USA which had begun in 2003. North Korea agreed to disable the nuclear facility in exchange for fuel aid and normalize talks with the USA and Japan. Aid was delayed from April to July, when it was confirmed the shutdown of the nuclear facility. This agreement fell apart in 2009 when North Korea launched a satellite.

In April 2009 North Korea became a full-fledged nuclear power and on May 25, 2009 a second nuclear test was conducted.

In February 2012 North Korea announced it would suspend uranium enrichment at the Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center and not conduct further tests of nuclear weapons while productive negotiations with the USA continued. This would include a moratorium on long-range missiles tests, and allowing IAEA inspectors to monitor operations. The USA prepared to ship important but limited humanitarian food aid to North Korea. In April 2012 North Korea conducted a long-range missile test and the food aid did not proceed.

In January 6, 2016 North Korea claimed to test a hydrogen bomb, which was a simulated 10 KT boosted nuclear device instead. On February 7, 2016 North Korea claimed to have put a satellite into orbit. A fifth nuclear test occurred on September 9, 2016 with an estimated 25 KT yield.

In 2017 North Korea test-launched two ICBMs and announced a further test of a hydrogen bomb.

What is clear is that North Korea has repeatedly sought outside help and once that has been achieved they have backed out of each peace agreement.

One aspect of this process that has changed was on June 12, 2018 in Singapore when Kim Jong Un met with President Donald Trump and his advisors who demanded a total dismantling, verification and removal of ALL nuclear weapons from North Korea, under threat of increased sanctions or military action.

What remains to be seen is whether this message has been effectively transmitted to the current regime in such a way that they live up to the agreement. The very lives of the people of North Korea, the entire Korean peninsula and the world hang in the balance.

There are those here in the USA and abroad that want North Korea to go back on their word or in some way violate the agreement so they can say, “Trump couldn’t make the deal stick.” I venture to say that as he has said in the past if he wasn’t sure about making the deal, he would have just walked away. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Obama’s first 100 Days

Obama’s first 100 days

Wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_100_days_of_Barack_Obama%27s_presidency

The first 100 days of Barack Obama’s presidency began on January 20, 2009, the day Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States. The first 100 days of a presidential term took on symbolic significance during Franklin D. Roosevelt‘s first term in office, and the period is considered a benchmark to measure the early success of a president. The 100th day of his presidency was April 29, 2009. Obama stated that he should not be judged by his first hundred days: “The first hundred days is going to be important, but it’s probably going to be the first thousand days that makes the difference.”

One can see from this Wikipedia article that Barack Obama as president was an underachiever. He did not hold high expectations and during the first 100 days he achieved exactly that. The Gallup poll gave Obama a 65% approval rating (slightly under JFK, but higher than previous presidents) with only 29% disapproval, leaving 6% undeclared. I personally don’t lend much credit to polls as they tend to be manipulated by the one doing the polling.

Here are some of his accomplishments during his first 100 days:

The “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009” was a bill passed in the House on January 28, 2009 (244-188) , and by the Senate on February 10, 2009 (61-37) was Barack Obama’s economic stimulus package.

During the first 100 days of Obama’s administration these were among his accomplishments

  • “Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009” relaxed the statute of limitations for equal-pay lawsuit
  • The expanded “State Children’s Health Insurance Program (S-CHIP)
  • A congressional budget resolution put Congress inline for dealing with major health care reform
  • Implemented new ethics guidelines to curtail lobbyists on the executive branch
  • Following through with the withdrawal of U.S. troops of the Bush’s Iraq war
  • Supporting the UN declaration on sexual orientation and gender identity
  • Lifting the 7 ½ year ban on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research
  • Ordering the closure of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba
  • Lifting some travel and money restrictions to Cuba

People ask, exactly what did Obama do during his 8 years as president? I can honestly say, not much, really. From what I’ve read going over his entire timeline on Wikipedia and it would appear that this was Barack’s first time playing in the big leagues. He spent quite a bit of time trying hard to look and feel important, and “kissing up” to those he felt were superior.

By the same token he was trying to put his “mark” on his presidency. There were the appearances on late night talk shows, even a recorded appearance on an Academy Award show, but that is for other articles. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Case for a T4 Coalition

The Case for a T4 Coalition

The latest “news” reporting was about President Trump’s remarks to the G7 when he called them a Fools Trade coalition, then left the summit to meet with North Korea’s Kim Jung Un concerning denuclearizing the Korean peninsula.

It seems that our “allies” are only in it for the money! Their deep pockets are simply full of holes. Tariff’s on USA goods are what grease the wheels of their economy and at great expense to the American taxpayer. So think about it. America charges low tariffs while other nations charge considerably higher tariffs in return for US goods.

If that isn’t bad enough we have been the world police (often under the charter of the United Nations) and foot the bill. Who pays to transport US military and equipment to foreign soil? Even under the UN, US taxpayers?

What about our stabilizing forces on foreign soil? How much do we pay for US overseas bases and embassies? What does it cost to train and operate our military in other countries? Who foots the bill, US taxpayers?

What I propose is a global “Reset Button” like the one Obama and Hillary gave Russia, only one that works for America.

Since Germany no longer sees the USA as a reliable ally and the rest of the G7 could not get Trump to play in their sandbox (that we paid for) we should simply withdraw from the G7. Maintain the higher tariffs proposed by the president, but create our own coalition.

After the first ever summit with North Korea concludes the USA should create a Trump coalition and call it the “T”. In fact we could probably create allies with 3 nations who would like “free trade” with the United States right off the bat. We could begin with the T4 (Japan, South Korea, North Korea and the United States). Member states of the T4 would incur no tariffs between member states.

I bet that it wouldn’t take long for others to want in, say Israel, then China and Russia, and how many others? Free trade would benefit each other and boost the import and export of consumer goods, thereby helping the economies of each member state.

Without pulling any punches, America’s biggest issue would come from the American Congress, who seems to be all too happy letting the USA be sucker punched with outrageously high tariffs while charging peanuts in return. The congress is actively considering a bill to restrict the presidential power concerning tariffs. Couple that with the outspoken disunity of the Congresses lack of support for President Trump’s agenda as presented so clearly by John McCain (RINO – AZ) and his collogues in the Democrat Party it won’t take long.

Seriously, why is the USA the world’s piggy-bank or ATM with everyone having the same pin code, except the American taxpayers who foot the bill entirely without recourse? President Trump’s proposal on free trade would eliminate tariffs entirely between G7 member states and give everyone a level playing field. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Trouble with Donald J. Trump

rhWEFJdY

The Trouble with Donald J. Trump

The article written recently by Charles Krauthammer perfectly explains why liberals and conservatives can’t figure out what makes President Trump tick.

https://www.facebook.com/josephj.wilsonjr/posts/2091497687531268?notif_id=1528667680998972&notif_t=feedback_reaction_generic

For the past 3 years people have tried to put Donald Trump into a box so they can figure out why he does what he does and how to outflank him which was really hard to do because at one point Trump was an ardent supporter of democrats and was a financial contributor of many a campaign.

It may have been his encounter with President Ronald Reagan, but Donald Trump became a conservative of sorts. Although not running for president, Donald Trump began forming strong opinions on what he felt was wrong in government.

I for one could not put my finger on it, but he wasn’t really liberal or conservative in his thinking. As a very successful businessman he became a billionaire and began branching out in his business dealings, even creating his television show “The Apprentice” in which he was the star and the show became a huge success.

So it was only natural, when he announced he was running for the office of President of the United States, that people thought it was just a publicity stunt, after all he wasn’t anything close to your typical politician, right? It was expected that after the first debate he would fizzle out and blend back into the fabric of the American tapestry.

The campaign was brutal; Trump took on all comers and began putting them in their place, until it was him versus Hillary. Anticipation and skewed polling gave Hillary the election from the start.

Everyone was surprised and in total shock after the election results were tabulated and announced. Donald J. Trump won over Hillary Rodham Clinton in a total and devastating upset in the Electoral College.

The liberal left went into melt down mode. College students began calling themselves “snowflakes” and adopted as their symbol the universal “diaper pin” (nobody had seen diapers since – Pampers) and the pin was hilarious as a symbol.

Fast forward to the first 500 days in office, liberals and conservative politicians are still trying to figure out Donald Trump. They call him brash, irrational and unfit for the presidency (among other things). Democrats don’t like him and I’m sure there are Democrats he doesn’t like either. Republicans don’t like him and I’m sure there are Republicans he doesn’t like either. Neither group has any idea how to handle this maverick, the renegade of a president.

It wasn’t until I read the Krauthammer article that I understood what is wrong with Donald J. Trump, he is not liberal or conservative and his approach to problem solving is not restricted to typical political party solutions.

Donald Trump is a pragmatist. He doesn’t see a problem as a democrat or a republican problem; he just sees it as a problem. I guess that is just too simple for many politicians to handle. The congressional democrats have been diverted away from rational thinking. Rather than identify problem areas and effect solutions, democrats want to present bills that would make it illegal to use plastic straws in the congressional dining hall due to environmental dangers of discarded plastics.

It is no secret that Donald Trump says exactly what he means and is not shy about doing so on Twitter or at a press briefing. Put him in front of world leaders, like the recent G7 meeting in Canada, President Trump very clearly told them that America is not their world piggy bank.

The president said he would initiate tariffs until fair and free trade agreements are reached between the G7 member states. Then he announced that Russia should be let back into the G7 so that they are brought to the negotiation table as well. It didn’t go over very well. Not only did it not go over well, but the Canadian prime minister held a news conference where he placed the blame on President Trump. If that wasn’t bad enough, Senator John McCain publically came out with a statement undermining President Trump with the G7.

President Donald Trump did not get elected to continue the charade of America being the world’s Piñata where we come out on the short end of negotiation after negotiation. American don’t want “business as usual” to continue with our government. America elected someone who sees a problem, determines solutions, then SELECTS solutions which will keep American interests intact. A pragmatist does exactly that, problem + solution = FIXED.

So what is wrong with Donald J. Trump = He Fixes Things! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Audacity of Arrogance

Audacity of Arrogance

What is “Audacity”? According to Google the definition of “Audacity” is

  1. The willingness to take bold risks
    1. Boldness, daring fearlessness, intrepidity, bravery, courage, heroism, pluck, grit
  2. Rude or disrespectful behavior
    1. Rude or disrespectful behavior; impudence, insolence, presumption, cheek, bad manners, effrontery, nerve, gall, defiance, temerity

What is “Arrogance”? According to Google the definition of “Arrogance” is the quality of being arrogant

  • Conceit, pride, self-importance, egotism, modesty

What goes through your mind when you see the words “Audacity” and “Arrogance”? Without first reading the definitions I automatically thought of Barack Obama and his book “Audacity of Hope” which I have not read. Then I thought of his outright arrogance in thinking only he alone had the ability to bring change to America.

After reading the definitions (above) I then thought of Donald Trump and his placing America First as his goal for making this country a better place to work and live.

Neither of these men are the subject of this article. When I think of Audicity and Arrogance in the same sentence or in light of the same subject matter I think of our athletes and entertainers.

When athletes such as major sports teams achieve a huge victory tradition says they are to be invited to the White House and have unprecedented photo opportunities with the president. It’s a goal of a life time and a huge honor. But that didn’t turn out to be the case with the Philadelphia Eagles as they planned to shun the “invitation” from President Trump and send a single token player instead. That is what I call the Audacity of Arrogance. It turned out that the team was disinvited in favor of the Army band playing the National Anthem. Yeah Team!

When it comes to entertainers they too seem to think that they are entitled to an invitation to the White House. Only they feel that their refusal would be an insult to the president. Hah! Why do they feel that the world revolves around them anyway?

Maybe this “resistance movement” against President Trump has roots elsewhere? I don’t think it started with the Democrat Party of old, but began taking root with the Congressional Black Congress during the Richard Nixon administration. Back then the president refused to acknowledge them and they publicly boycotted his state of the union address, which they have done with every president that does not agree with them or their goals. It’s like a form of “blackmail” (pun intended), or maybe “blackmale” is more appropriate as back then there were no female members of congress.

Since their inception in 1971 the CBC has in my opinion been the root cause of much of the civil disobedience, rioting and spearheading attempts to tear down or relocate US Veteran memorials of the Civil War era or others they determine to be offensive. They are a prime example of the Audacity of Arrogance in our legislative body. Patterning themselves after lessor third-world countries of Africa and the Middle East these legislators have instigated a coup in an attempt to take over our government and strip the American public from an effective government.

I have yet to see where a president has stood up to this legislative caucus and said “No!”

What I have seen is the CBC’s public display of “Audacity” collective organizational resistance and the displaying of “gang-like” colors of so-called African origin. This tactic is akin to that which Chicago mobsters used to rule their “turf” earlier this century. They have made a public display of naming black legislators who refuse to join their mob by listing their name and the fact they did not join in an attempt to shame those legislators. While they proudly refuse membership to legislators who are not black.

I’m glad to see men and women of courage and integrity standing up to this mob mentality, standing firm in the face of nasty and unwanted criticism yet refusing to back down. Their stand on freedom to think and breaking away from the Democrat Party doctrine will undoubtedly encourage others to choose for themselves who will best represent them in congress and in the White House. The Audacity of Arrogance is a dead-end street leading to nowhere. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

On Trump Tariffs

6-7-2018

On Trump Tariffs

I never claimed to be knowledgeable on tariffs and that may be why I’m not a financial wizard. It has been reported by the CNN (Fake News) and others that a “private phone call” on May 25th between President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau became heated while discussing tariffs. I’m not so much concerned by the phone call as I am by the fact that CNN cited “sources familiar with the discussion” told CNN.

What is a tariff and how does it work? A tariff is basically a tax on products imported or exported between two countries. If Country A makes a product that costs $10 and ships that product to Country B, a 20% tariff would make that product cost $12 in Country B. So now Country B makes a product that costs $10 and ships it to Country A and adds a 20% tariff, that product would now cost $12 in Country A.

What President Trump is demanding from other countries that through the use of tariffs if a country does business (import/export) with the US, the prices be fair and balanced?  In many cases that has NEVER happened across the board between the US and other countries. American politicians who have been president have not utilized tariffs or strategies to leverage a fair and balanced trade balance, leaving America on the sort end time and again.

I personally don’t think tariffs are what will hurt America as much as what is going on with Americans betraying the trust of their employer (in this case the President) in an attempt to embarrass or hurt politically the President of the United States. In any case they are misjudging Donald J. Trump and his resolve in making America great again.

The incident with the phone call tells me is that as of May 25th the White House still had a “spy” if you will, a “leaker” who decided it was time to release details of the phone call, that’s the sad part. Americans serving in the White House staff and cabinet do so at the pleasure of the President of the United States. Anybody who’s watched TV’s “The West Wing” with Martin Sheen can tell you that. So why would someone in a trusted position in the White House betray that trust?

I don’t think anyone takes President Trump seriously even into his second year as President. While politicians say things and do entirely different and many times go back on their word as if they had never even said it. President Donald Trump is no politician. He says what he means and means what he says. He is a subject matter expert on the “Art of the Deal”.

On the world stage, the United States has been taken advantage of for quite some time because there has never been a president who understands how business works quite the way President Trump does. This has resulted in politicians going into discussions with other world leaders with no idea how to negotiate while keeping American interests in mind.

It seems (according to this CNN article) https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/06/politics/war-of-1812-donald-trump-justin-trudeau-tariff/index.html that Canada was insulted because President Trump either inferred or outright called them a “national security” threat to the US.

Shocking isn’t it?

Well EVERY country in the world is a “national security” threat to EVERY OTHER country. It must be THE priority of every leader and every government to look to the national security of their country, before looking at security of other countries, if at all.

What I see happening as a result of President Trump’s hard line approach to foreign policy, import and export and border security are causing other nations to reevaluate their approach to America. They are beginning to understand that “give and play” with this American president will have either great benefits for their country or it will have a great detriment.

As for CNN and other Fake News outlets they need to realize that leakers and leaked stories with unnamed sources lend no credibility to their organizations, nor do they enhance national security for America. They need to return to “Fair and Balanced – Reporting” and drop the Fake News. I’m surprised that the White House Pressroom is still accommodating their unscrupulous reporting. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

LIES AND LIARS

demo1

6-6-2018

Lies and Liars

There is an old say about when to tell a lawyer is lying – when he opens his mouth! Well the same is said about politicians. In order to get elected politicians make all sorts of promises. It’s a given that they have no intention of keeping them. Not even the one “I’ll work for YOU!”

That infamous former congressman from Minnesota Al Franken once wrote a book, “Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them”, which in my opinion covers lawyers and politicians.

Think about this during the 2008 and 2012 elections we heard one overwhelmingly clear promise from Barack Obama to bring change. Well that is probably the only promise he actually intended to keep. In fact Michelle Obama said her husband was going to bring change like never before.

One of the major ones we’ve been dealing with is the Affordable Care Act, which resoundingly passed thru congress (a large part was calling special sessions and locking out the Republican members of congress when time to vote). It passed almost before the ink dried.

What I recently learned was that this is basically the same bill that would have been called the Clinton Healthcare, had it not died in congress during Bill Clinton’s administration. So probably resurrecting this failed bill, tweaking it so as to take full advantage of the American people it is now commonly referred to as Obamacare.

Now during the Trump administration a spot light is being shown on Barack Obama’s dealings with Iran and other sensitive matters and what we are finding out is that Obama’s entire administration has been a lie from the start. Coming to light are matters of national security, circumventing the Constitutions checks and balances by with the phone, the pen and through the use of executive orders.

Yet what the liberals are screaming about is “Trump Lied” when he said Mexico was going to pay for the wall, “Impeach 45”. (It’s not over until the mildly chubby female sings.)

In the first 500+ days of the Trump presidency there have been at least 60 campaign promises that have been kept, and the president is still going – longer than that drum beating bunny of TV commercials.

Although they are too many to list here I would like to say something about a few of those promises kept.

The first one that comes to mind is JOBS. The president has made it encouraging for business to refrain from moving their factories off shore. The result has been unprecedented job growth nationwide, with the possible exception of California (currently experiencing fits of liberal mania).

Another is National Security (including the wall) which has been changing the way immigration is being handled. Illegal immigration figures are down and the wall has been going up. Enforcing immigration laws and increased vetting to insure that immigrants coming into our country are coming as contributors wanting to raise their families in a safe and free environment.

Lastly breaking away from his predecessors, President Trump has taken to Twitter as his way of communicating directly with the American people as well as with world leaders. We still have press releases and the White House Press Secretary briefing reporters on upcoming and current events, but rather than rely on fake news reporting, the president gets his message out to the people directly.

Whether you love him or hate him President Donald J. Trump is not a politician’s president. He doesn’t think, act or conduct himself as a politician. He is a very successful businessman and knows what it takes to succeed and expects those around him to be successful. Staying focused is one of his strengths, even in the face of extreme opposition. His singular all time goal has been in changing the culture of America from a “me, me, me” to a “we, we, we can do” culture of success. Don’t tell Donald Trump that he can’t do something unless you want him to show you how to do it successfully.

In a perfect world the democrats and republicans in congress would be supporting this president’s agenda of fixing what has been historically wrong in America. But alas we are not in a perfect world and most politicians are lawyers. You know how to tell when a lawyer is lying? – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Liberal Logic

Liberal Logic

I don’t know where this stuff comes from. Sometimes it just boggles the mind.

In the news was someone on twitter who was blocked by President Trump for expressing his political beliefs in a tweet. There’s nothing here.

It’s like getting a telemarketer calling on the phone and you hang up. Next you use call blocking to insure the telemarketer doesn’t call back. Sound unusual? No.

Well the blocked tweeter decides to sue President Trump in federal court (or before a federal judge) because the president violated his 1st Amendment rights to freedom of expression.

The federal judge so decrees the tweeters rights were denied by the intended receiver (the president).

You’ve got to be kidding!

So the tweeter has the “right” to free speech, yet the president (or anyone on twitter) doesn’t have the right to block someone?

Now the tweeter is mad because he still doesn’t have access to the president’s twitter feed so he can spew his unwanted tweets.

Yet every time the president who is the master of tweets “tweets”, liberals want him to stop tweeting?

Where’s the logic in that?

So let’s say you’re walking down the street and someone jumps out at you and says “Give me your money”! You refuse and a fight ensues. You walk away with your money intact while the other guy is knocked out cold. Then a few days later you get served with a civil suit because the guy you knocked out had his 1st Amendment rights of free speech (Give me your money!) and you denied him that right.

That my friend is “Liberal Logic”! It’s not a democrat or a republican thing, its applying simple logic, or not!

Happy Hump Day – I am the Real Truckmaster!

September 11, 2012 – U.S. Embassy Compound

Benghazi, Libya

What we know –

At 9:40 pm (local) on September 11, 2012 the U.S. Embassy complex in Benghazi, Libya was viscously attacked by Islamic militants who set fire to the buildings and then attacked the CIA Annex. At 11:00 pm (local) an unarmed U.S. drone arrives over Benghazi providing live feed of the attack which killed 4 Americans Ambassador Christopher J. Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods and wounded 2 more Americans. At 1:00 am (local) U.S. rescue team arrives in Benghazi from Tripoli and rescues 30 Americans.

It will soon be 6 years since the Benghazi attack and even after the Congressional hearings and reading thru various timeline and reports it is not clear where the breakdown occurred.

Clearly Obama administration placed the blame on an anti-Muslim video and even arrested the video’s creator. President Obama then called it an “Act of Terror”, but didn’t call it what it was “Terrorism”.

The Department of State was notified 20 minutes after the attack began, as the complex had been breached and a rescue team attempted to secure an aircraft in order to leave Tripoli and effect the rescue. Secretary Clinton was informed 4 ½ hours after the attack began that American’s needed to be evacuated. Hillary issues an official announcement condemning the attack and referring to the video, then sends email to Chelsea telling her it was an “Al Qaeda-like group” that attacked and killed Ambassador Stevens.

Beginning at 9:40 pm the CIA operators at the annex monitored requests for help and prepared to assist at the compound as the CIA base chief on the ground attempted to activate local Libyan security forces, yet held back CIA operators for 70 minutes grossly affecting the outcome. Almost 2 hours later embassy personnel are moved to the CIA annex, where the fighting continues. The fighting continued until almost 5:30 am at the CIA annex. The rescue team from Tripoli and Libyan forces moved survivors and KIA bodies to Benghazi airport and depart around 10:00 am. All survivors and KIA bodies were flown out of Tripoli around 7:00 pm (12 Sept) for Ramstein air base in Germany aboard C-17 aircraft.

The Pentagon activated the National Military Command Center 50 minutes after the attack began, even though the AFRICOM commander General Carter Ham upon being notified of the attack acted properly to order the diversion of a surveillance drone to hover over the Benghazi compound just 17 minutes after the attack began, he then began monitoring the situation from the NMCC at the Pentagon. The defense secretary and chairman of the JCS were not notified for 50 minutes due to having been in a pre-arraigned meeting with President Obama.

According to Pentagon officials all relevant commands and the four military branches were on a conference call roughly five hours after the attack began. The Pentagon has what is equivalent to counterterror SWAT teams nearby in Croatia (900 miles from Libya, and roughly 3 hours flying time) undergoing terrorist training, and once diverted they are heard overhead and on the radio net at Benghazi of not begin given permission to land. (This was later denied by Pentagon officials).

I didn’t get into the Hillary Clinton emails as presented by The Hill, yet I’ll include the link so you may see for yourself.

The nearly 300 emails from Hillary Clinton released by the State Department last week are shedding new light on the administration’s mission in Libya and its response to the deadly terrorist attacks in Benghazi.

The emails include details on the work of Christopher Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya who died in the Benghazi siege, and offer a glimpse into Clinton’s concerns that she might have falsely attributed the 2012 assault to backlash against an anti-Muslim video.

I did read thru the Benghazi timeline with Fact Check dot Org as they bring forth the relevant facts in this case beginning with the State Department Timeline of Events https://www.factcheck.org/2012/10/benghazi-timeline/

What I have learned from reading the reports and timeline accounts in my opinion shifts the blame from what I thought was entirely Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s and spreading it equally on Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the JCS and ultimately to President Obama. It didn’t appear that this president took any type of leadership action, but when making his official announcement promised to use all available resources to punish those responsible.

The emergency response protocols which are designed to provide rapid response in the event of emergencies such as the one in Benghazi should have been a clear signal to bring on the rescue of Americans in distress, especially when the signal comes from an American ambassador. – I am the Real Truckmaster
