Open Letter to Congress

I don’t care what political party you belong to and neither do a great number of Americans. What I care about is this – You are either an America First citizen or you are not! You made promises to secure enough votes to defeat your political opponent, now you work for US (We the People of the United States of America). So whether you are a Senator or a Representative it is in the best interests of our nation and every citizen that you stop the political posturing and get to work securing our borders, refining our laws and protecting my neighbors and my family. If that is unreasonable to you I suggest that you pack your suitcase and go back home because America cannot afford to have you wasting our time, energy and above all resources so you can call yourself a member of Congress.

If you do not support our Constitution, Our Flag and our National Anthem – Congress is not the place for you. If all you want to do is defund our police, kneel at our Anthem or cling to the racial bantering that divides our country – STOP IT!

If you are more concerned with citizens of other countries and ignore the citizens of THIS country who desperately need your help and support – Congress is not the place for you either.

America deserves better than that! As an elected or appointed representative your primary duty is to PUBLIC SERVICE. That means you serve the public, not the other way around. Stop paying homage to the political hierarchy in the House or in the Senate and do what is right for US (We the People of the United States of America)!

Stop with the tearing down of our history. It is our history and you can’t change it. If you are not Proud to be an American  – don’t take it out on Lee Greenwood – move out of the country to a place of your choosing where you can be proud to be alive.

Rest assured that Americans have awakened to the lame messages and political propaganda that has been floated in front of us daily over the media and social media. We know what patriotism looks like and fighting each other is not it.

The primary purpose of government is the safety and security of the American people first and foremost. How can you or anyone else look out for our interests before you worry about the interests of the citizens of other countries or that of yourself?

It is my opinion the biggest threat to our nation is uppity self-centered and politically insensitive politicians. I am a registered voter in my state. I will be looking at EVERY congressional vote and every bill introduced to see that it benefits me because I do not like my tax dollars being used on pork or pet projects (PPP). I will be talking to my neighbors (don’t care political affiliation either) and encouraging them to vote AGAINST POLITICS AS USUAL. Who knows I may even run against you in the next election?

One thing is certain – congressional stupidity is no longer in fashion. Do the business of the people or get off the pot! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Random Thoughts on Death and Dying

When a friend dies one begins to think about our own mortality. We think back on how we first met, whether or not we had constant or occasional contact and that last time we saw that person. We tend to think that person is now in the arms of a loving God.

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. Nobody comes to the Father but through me.” – John 14:6.

It is not for me to judge whether a person obtained salvation or speculate on their eternal destination. I must ask myself did I witness and show the love of God to that person when I had the opportunity?

For the family death can be overwhelmingly a time of sadness and utter sorrow. The show of support from family and friends is an important part of the grieving process. We like to think that our loved one, our friend made a difference in someone’s life and to see them at the funeral is confirmation.

I have experienced a number of family and friends dying over my 71 years and each death hits me differently. I’ve been to funeral services where the church or funeral home was packed, standing room only. The eulogy often painted a picture of that person as a good person that everyone loved and will be sorely missed. Almost always it is implied that they are looking down from above. I have a problem when I know the person I know literally lived like the devil. I’ve been to memorial services where I’ve been the only one standing there. I’ve been to military funerals where full military honors have been rendered and I’ve stood the flag line as a Patriot Guard Rider as noisy protesters shouted nearby.

Funerals are often very personal.

When a public figure dies the funeral quite often becomes a public spectacle especially when it becomes political like the death of a former president, a sitting justice on the SCOTUS, or a sitting member of Congress no longer private events as world leaders and public figures make their appearance to offer their condolences.

I wonder where was the voices of the families when prominent democratic politicians publicly banned President Trump from attending any of the services? Never in my lifetime have I ever experienced or seen that level of public hatred. When expedient or convenient some family members got on their political soap box with scathing condemnation of the president for perceived wrongs toward their loved one. Where was the grieving over their loved one?

Other public figures when their political affiliation is different are simply ignored or ridiculed in the media or by public figures that deem only themselves more worthy (and they have a platform).

Life is the one activity where nobody gets out alive. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Invasion of America

I don’t believe for a minute that either Joe Biden or Kamala Harris is the one leading the country astray. That would give them credit they do not deserve. Using the combined brain power of these two individuals they could not dream up the things we see happening along our Southern border. I do believe is there are a select group funding, organizing and executing a brown invasion of America that began years ago.

Remember the caravans of the Trump years when American legal teams crossed into Mexico to “coach” migrants in order to present themselves as refugees? Those acts were against US immigration laws but did anybody get arrested or go to jail? There were trains, buses and all manner of vehicles transporting people from South, Central and North American countries as well as from Africa and the Middle East with their progress was being closely reported by the media like a giant tsunami headed toward the US border. As they got closer they were walking while using mobile phones – men, women and children (many unaccompanied) with the intent to cross into the United States after a journey of more than 30 days and many hundreds of miles. Where did the food, water, transportation and lodging costs come from? Who supplied the finances?  The propaganda being used like today’s signs and shirts “Joe Biden please let me in”! Where did they come from?

What happened with the arrangement made by Trump between the US, other Central Americans countries and Mexico to stop the caravans or face sanctions? Mexican troops on the Guatemala border literally stopped the migration in its tracks. The same Mexican president pleaded with Biden to do something as Mexico cannot regulate the flow of migrants to the United States. Why are they being allowed into Mexico at all? Those migrants arriving at the border are not refugees fleeing oppression. They simply appear to be people just wanting to be let in to the US. Why have we not closed the border and released them back into Mexico? Is not the president responsible for homeland security and his administration responsible to ensure the security and safety of our national borders?

The only explanation I can think of is that Joe Biden is a feckless president unable to stand up for America. There is a power behind this push for an open border and it is much bigger than the Biden-Harris Administration can handle. Is it George Soros, Barack Obama or Satan himself?

This struggle for power has existed throughout the ages of time and we are but fleeting pawns. A whiff and we’re gone yet God is in full control and absolutely nothing surprises him. It is time we fall to our knees and repent begging forgiveness for our sins and the sins of our nation. We must pray for our nation’s leadership and ask God to intervene. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Hate Versus Hate

The Atlanta massage parlor murders have sparked a lot of talk about stopping Asian hate. Sadly that’s all it is – just talk and talk is cheap. Hate in any form is still hate and when left unchecked it leads to more hate. It’s like a dog chasing its tail.

This morning I saw on Twitter a posting about a protest rally against the Communist Chinese Party’s attack on the Uighur people of China being called racist by “Stop Asian Hate” protesters who are either ignorant of what Asian hate is or misinformed as to why they are protesting in the first place.

Flying under everybody’s radar and in the background is Facebook promoting products produced by forced Chinese laborers like the Uighur and others and nobody is paying attention, exactly what happens when cancel culture meets common sense in the real world.

All of this ties in nicely with the invasion of the US southern border by illegal immigrants wearing shirts and holding fancy signs obviously given to them as props for photos stating “Joe Biden let me in”. Hate knows no bounds.

Congress has politicized hate for years using it to divide America into groups or classes. Democrats calling MAGA patriots – deplorables, degenerates and Neanderthals is just another way of spreading hate while calling for more laws to deal with the hate they create. The antidote to hate is love and the source of love is God.

We don’t need more laws dealing with hate crimes. We need to enforce existing laws and punish violators according to the crimes they commit.

When someone says “go back to where you came from” or “go back to your country”, I ask what if they did go back. What if everyone went back to where they came from? Would we all fit on Mount Ararat in Iran? Isn’t that where Noah’s ark landed? Wouldn’t we all have to speak Iranian?

Why not do as the bible tells us – Love God and everyone around us. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Congratulations to Julia Letlow the latest to join the freshman class of Republican women holding 30 of the 434 seats in the House of Representatives. Let me be clear that collectively Republicans tend to be loners in Congress. I know there are Republican Caucuses, committees and such but they tend to take a common sense approach to issues that are important to them individually.

Outside of hearing campaign rhetoric how many of these names do you recognize? How many of them believe the same as you or I? More importantly how many of them would you stand next to when it comes to defending the freedoms enshrined in the US Constitution?

I have been following a few of these women on social media and what I see are some of the brightest and strongest patriotic women who unhesitatingly stand up for their core beliefs in the face of adversity. Let me point out just a couple of names who have gotten my attention initially because they were endorsed by President Trump. That seemingly simple act of endorsement drew fire from top Democrats like Speaker Pelosi and others.

Take Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia one of her first acts was to introduce articles of impeachment for President Joe Biden for his actions as Vice President in Ukraine under President Obama. Those articles went nowhere as Speaker Pelosi was intent on impeaching President Trump even after he left office. What it did was place a target on the back of Rep. Greene who was removed from all committees as punishment. Ms. Greene didn’t back down.

Then take Rep. Loren Boebert of Colorado the simple fact that she let it be known that she had a concealed carry permit caused House Democrats to go into panic mode and claim to be victimized and traumatized by her being on the floor of the House. Rep. Boebert has posted pictures of her weapons over her fireplace and stating that they are all loaded and read. She has posted on social media that she never carries her weapons when going into the House chamber. Speaker Pelosi has had metal detectors installed and issued a warning that a $5,000 fine will be assessed for anyone going around the metal detectors. Speaker Pelosi has been seen violating her own “decree” by using an entrance where metal detectors are not installed.

I’m sure there are other notable Republican women in the House that have yet to flex their political muscle. One representative who did flex her muscle was Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming who was censured for voting against President Trump on a number of occasions. Not a really smart move after soliciting his endorsement.

Rep. Greene was on Fox News recently and listening to her common sense approach to legislating, her sense of commitment to God and country gave me a lot of reassurance that there is still hope for our nation when men and women not let cancel culture or political intimidation prevent us from doing what is right. She said we need more conservative businesses, entertainment, news outlets and politicians who are promoting America First.

I haven’t checked to see who among these women have bought into the Democratic lies and distortions of truth about President Trump, his MAGA followers and patriotic Republican voters, small business owners and home schoolers. It is time to take back to God and return our nation to a God fearing one where hate, fear and intimidation no longer rule. Love trumps hate and God’s love covers a multitude of sin.

What I feel should be a priority of Republicans women in the House is to become organized with likeminded legislators who are committed to representing the very people in their collective precincts and placing their constituent’s interests before personal or political interests. Something like a Republican Women’s Caucus where vetting is required before being admitted.

The Republican Party in Congress have all but forgotten that pooling resources toward a common goal is a much stronger chain than doing it alone as many have done in the past. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

My Take on It Almost Didn’t Happen

I have skimmed through the CNN article by Maggie Fox and it provides an interesting take by scientists on how the coronavirus pandemic almost didn’t happen but placing the blame on the Huanan seafood market. I’ve studied this before and have drawn my own conclusions which are a bit different than what researchers reported in the journal Science. I see this simply as an attempt to divert the blame.

I have written previous blogs about how the Chinese government closed off Hubei province from the rest of China in late 2019 while allowing travel outside of China to continue. In particular were workers returning to their factories in Italy, Iran and elsewhere after Chinese New Year’s celebrations in Wuhan and if infected spreading it locally.

I agree that the virus could have very well died its own quiet death except when used as a biological weapon and unleashed on the world the result was predictably a worse case scenario. According to the article researchers pin the central point of contact on the Huanan seafood market, yet I contend it was the international airport in the city of Wuhan where multiple biological laboratories are located nearby.

The cover up by the CCP included silencing medical professionals who publicly expressed early warning about the virus. If as the article stated initial signs emerged as early as October 2019 the pandemic could very well have been stopped in its tracks.

The article says there was no definite culprit a bat or a pig, but early gain of function research prior to 2014 was conducted in the US with a Huanan bat and included a research team out of Wuhan. I find it more plausible for the team to return to Wuhan and attempt to duplicate the results in their lab. My question is whether the virus was accidently or deliberately released? We may never know. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Fanning the Flames

Take a good look in the mirror. I quit watching the national news networks because all I see are wannabe reporters, journalists and news anchors who are guilty of pouring gasoline on the flames of hate while wondering what is happening.

Take the recent shootings in Atlanta all aimed at Asian massage parlor workers. After killing 8 women in several massage parlors the subject was caught by police. He said he wasn’t targeting Asians. He shot them because of his sexual addiction. That is like someone telling you that if you call a tigers tail a leg and ask how many legs does a tiger have? The correct answer is 4 because calling a tail a leg doesn’t make it so and neither do targeting Asian women make it anything other than that.

We have politicians pushing for reparations from white people because black people were used as slaves in America. When in fact many Africans were kidnapped by Africans and sold to slave trading ship captains who transported them to various places, including the Americas.

We’re at a point in our society where we are being conditioned to blame everyone for the sins of our collective fathers and the facts don’t support reparations at all. Slavery in America has not been limited only to blacks but includes Asians, whites and Spanish people.

Believe it or not, slavery has been around since biblical days and is alive and well in the world today only we call it human trafficking. Who’s to say that the Asian women of the massage parlor industry in America were simply women caught up in human trafficking?

What we are seeing is a sin problem. We have been given Ten Commandments that when followed will make life better for everyone. Were we to live under the Old Testament law we would be seeing an eye for an eye and law breakers facing immediate, exact and often seemingly harsh punishment and there are societies and religions that still practice them.

We are not under the Old Testament law, but New Testament grace. Our Constitution was written using the biblical principles that all men are created equal with the same prospects of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and becoming a US citizen means conforming to and following the laws of the land. Non-conforming is bringing in foreign cultures and forcibly imposing those beliefs upon our nation and its people.

Politicians are ordinary people given the privilege of serving in government for our benefit. As often is the case they begin to see themselves as our “betters” and only they know what is best for us. They have forgotten why they are there or who sent them. Over time we are overlooked and ignored until our votes are needed.

We must exercise our right to vote guaranteed by the Constitution to insure that our legislators and elected officials do not forget who we are and why we sent them or maybe we should “man up” to replace them? – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Immigration Crisis is Trumps Fault

We’re hearing from Joe Biden’s administration and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Progressive Democrats that the crisis at the border is something inherited from the Trump administration.

So who said this?

“Those who enter our country illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of law. And because we live in an age where terrorists are challenging our borders, we simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, and unchecked. Americans are right to demand border security and better enforcement of the immigration laws.” – Obama in 2006

So I guess the blame must be placed where it belongs on Congress as they are the only ones constitutionally with the power and responsibility to create, change or modify laws, leaving a President the power to sign them officially into law.

A number of Senate democrats have publicly stated that the reason progressive laws are repeatedly struck down is because of something called the Constitution which gets in the way of their agenda and manipulates everything they do.

The blame also goes to the Biden Administration for ordering the open border situation that forces catch and release of thousands of undocumented and unchecked illegal immigrants into our country at a time when Americans are dealing with high unemployment and unemployability due to the effects of COVID that has small businesses going under daily.

Maybe, just maybe building a border wall, a comprehensive reform of US immigration laws with improved enhanced enforcement technics could actually help save lives and protect national security?

But what do I know I’m just a “Neanderthal” and a “dog faced pony soldier” remember? – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Mutiny at the Pentagon

I have read this 3-16-2021 “Optics” article by The National Pulse reporter Raheem Kassam and it fully supports what I and others have been saying all along about the January 6^th “Insurrection” at the nation’s Capital by President Trump led supporters.

What I see is a clear violation of the UCMJ where the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark A. Milley and other DOD officials who balked at orders by acting defense secretary Christopher C. Miller directed by President Trump on January 5^th to deploy 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the MAGA rally as reported by Vanity Fair. To me that spells Mutiny and should be dealt with as such.

There was an earlier report where House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer contacted General Milley to restrict President Trump from being able to perform his duties as president (See my blog Unhinged Abuse of Power).

According to the Optics article President Trump insisted on the 10,000 National Guard troops while facing resistance from General Milley and secretary of defense Mark T. Esper (who was fired), as well as Democrats including DC Mayor Muriel Bowser who refused to ask for the troops as required for deployment prior to January 6^th.

It is shameful that the highest ranking general in the DOD, as well as the secretary of defense would ignore the President of the United States particularly during a time of national crisis and here we are March 16^th, and those National Guard troops are still positioned around the “Temple of Democracy” instead of at the southern border.

Not only is that a military mutiny, but a congressional conspiracy to insure that the pre-planned “insurrection” would trigger enough national rage to insure a second impeachment would do the job of keeping Donald Trump from running for political office in the future. (It didn’t work)!

It is not a new tactic by military top brass. I watched a report that President Kennedy faced the same issues when he assumed office. He did not want the US involved in a war in Southeast Asia and instructed his advisor to set up a meeting whereby SEA diplomats could work it out amongst themselves without the US sending troops to Vietnam. His advisor purposefully disobeyed Kennedy’s orders and before Kennedy found out about it he was assassinated and the Second Indochina War, “The American War” in Vietnam is part of our history and at a great cost.

I am no fan of politicians of either major political party. The ones in office have failed the American people. As a whole they have bowed to the god of political correctness, wavered before the god of wokeness and continue to push toward racial and class division with the intent to bankrupt our national economy.

I’ve heard quite a bit of talk about a “Convention of States” whereby the states could succeed from the nation or more directly “divorce” themselves from the federal government and create a new government that is responsive to the people. The last time that was tried America saw the Civil War and now the wokeness generation want to re-write history and simply erase the bad stuff so we will be sure to learn it once again.

It sickens me to watch the political pandering of our military leadership and the posturing of our elected officials who are bent on buying everyone off with claims of FREE, FREE, FREE!

It would please me greatly to see a military tribunal try every corrupt politician (in and out of uniform) for crimes against the nation and begin public executions so that justice is served. But alas I know that justice comes out of love, but out of hate is called revenge and Almighty God said that Romans 12:19 NIV “ Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.”

I have one thing to say for those still “Believing the Big Lie” and that is – I told you so! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Not Playing with Toy Soldiers

What yanks my chain to no proverbial end is when elected officials play their political games with our men and women in uniform. They stage their selective “battleground” as a sign of absolute power while toying with the lives of hard working members of the US military and at great cost to our nation’s wartime readiness.

American’s fighting forces have been sent around the world to defend freedom. Yet when freedom is threatened at home they are used like pawns on a chessboard not to protect it, but as a shield around our politicians like we see in Washington DC today around the nation’s Capital.

When these same politicians go all out to defund the police Americans suffer, but standing up an army is simply not the answer. It’s clear the decision makers have never worn the uniform or have forgotten the purpose of those who wear it today. Failed politicians make decisions without a clue to the consequences of their actions. When they make those decisions for political purposes they disgrace their elected or appointed office.

In my opinion retired army general Lloyd Austin is the wrong person for the job of Secretary of Defense and the fact that he required a congressional waiver just to transition from a retired general to a cabinet position should have sent up red flags! He was nominated to satisfy the left’s political correctness and not because of his ability or management skills. Someone must have thought he was the next Colin Powell. He was not and I have great respect for Secretary Powell!

His official first act as Secretary of Defense was to order a 60 stand down of ALL military personnel in order to seek out conservative and radical right members and in effect re-administer the oath of office to each one, a task that is done upon enlistment and at re-enlistment. This political stunt questioned the integrity of every member of the US armed forces who have taken the oath to protect and defend the Constitution, not a president or politician.

Secretary Austin should have made his first order of business to advise President Biden to return all National Guard troops to their home states and release them from active duty. With the crisis on the Southern border intensifying he should have advised the president to re-enforce CBP and HLS agents along the entire border with National Guard and/or Active Duty units until the crisis is eliminated.

It is called BORDER SECURITY for a reason.

A leader leads and a cabinet official such as the Secretary of Defense Austin should ADVISE the president especially when it comes to national defense and border security issues involving or requiring military assistance. Continuing to allow the misapplication of force at the Capital while neglecting the border demonstrates incompetence at best.

I also fault the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Service Secretaries for not standing up. Granted they too took the oath to defend the Constitution and to obey the President and the officers appointed over them, but come on man, sir(s). Are you not an ADVISOR to the President on military matters and foreign policy? When an order violates the Constitution which is the basis of US Law are you not obligated to question it?

America demands the very best from our military! Are not leadership and teamwork the building blocks of a successful military? Is not the chain only as strong as its weakest link? Our military members deserve to be led by competent leaders.

So lead – follow – or get out of the way! – I am the Real Truckmaster!
