On Illegal Immigration and DACA

OK ALREADY,

I’ve heard about enough on illegal immigration. Illegal is illegal! Those folks who are here illegally should be deported, unless they commit a crime. They should be imprisoned and upon finishing their time, then deported. Those who don’t like it can go with them. There are provisions for immigrants to come into the US on a work permit, for a specific period of time. Those who want to live here apply for an immigrant visa and work toward obtaining their citizenship the same way so many before them have done.

There is no justification for crossing the border without papers. If they are being persecuted and under threat of death in the country they are from, there are provisions for being granted an emergency visa, and they work toward obtaining their citizenship. Those coming here must obey the laws of this country, just as we who travel abroad must obey the laws of the country we are traveling in. Failure to do so exacts consequences and those who pay the price must not belly ache over it. They brought it upon themselves.

Those who are born in the US of immigrant parents WITH PAPERS are US citizens by birth. Those who have no papers, have no US citizenship. They are citizens of the country their parents are from. How hard is that to understand?

The US government has an obligation and a responsibility to protect our borders. If that includes posting state National Guard troops along its borders to assist the border patrol in keeping our borders secure, let’s do it. It’s the right thing to do.

It is the responsibility of our neighboring countries to do the same for their borders. Unless we go to an Multilateral American Immigration and Transit System (MAIT) that would allow citizens of all American (North and South America) to travel within the American countries without visas, or unless the United States adopts a policy of allowing citizens of other countries to enter with valid photo ID’s or nationally issued identification cards from their respective countries, we have basically one other option.

We could simply annex Mexico as our 51st state. Maybe we could call it Old Mexico. The President would become Governor, and the Mexico Federalies would become the Old Mexico National Guard, and patrol the borders from Central American nations.

Granted that option would open the US up to charges of imperialistic behavior toward our neighboring countries. We would be charged with wanting to colonize other nations simply for their natural resources (How ludicrous). Next Canada would feel threatened, and so would the island nations of the Caribbean.

I suggest we close our borders, station armed National Guard troops along the borders of their state and foreign soil. Demand that the Mexican government do the same and we have a sort of De Militarized Zone (DMZ). Smugglers should be treated as pirates or terrorists, dealing in human trafficking and be severely dealt with, on the spot. Making it not so desirable to cross over illegally should be the universal goal.

There should be a LIMITED amnesty program where those with family members who are citizens would be eligible to stay and work toward their citizenship. Those who are trouble makers or law breakers would be disqualified for amnesty, and dealt with as such.

To me illegal immigration is not a “gray matter”, it’s purely black and white. Our politicians should start using that “gray matter” between their ears and get serious with immigration. We as US citizens should not want it any other way.

A Concerned Citizen – in 2018
By the way, why has Barack H. Obama not been indicted for 1 count on each DACA recipient who came into this country without documentation? His executive order was not constitutional and those who are “covered” by it are therefore not here constitutionally and are in fact illegal aliens.
The DACA program must be terminated and every offender must be returned to their country of origin, or out the nearest port of entry. – I am the Real Truckmaster

Donald J. Trump – Part 3

djt

This is basically part 3 from an online discussion a friend and I are having about Donald J. Trump.

Sorry if I don’t see things from a liberal left or democratic perspective, yet we have agreed to disagree on the man.

My friend feels that Trump has “flaws” and has hurt this country in the eyes of the world. He feels that Trump doesn’t have the intellect to recognize the full scope of those who would like to see us fail and fall like Russia, China, N, Korea, Iran and others. He sees Trump as an isolationist with grandiose stances that are hurting our relationship with other countries and their leaders/people and his constant twittering and public responses to those who admonish or disagree with him are simply childlike responses. Lastly my friend agrees with Trump’s stance on immigration, just not the wall as an effective means of stopping illegal immigration.

Just because we disagree on many of these issues we do not have to dissolve our friendship and put up separation barriers. Sorry it isn’t going to happen.

Let me explain why I don’t agree with his total assessment of Trump the man, whom I have never met, spoken to or even seen up close except on TV. I may take this all the way back to the campaign as a way of explanation.

What I saw of Donald Trump was limited to his newsworthy appearances on TV, or on “The Apprentice” and I was not especially taken by his “You’re Fired” approach to people. But I understood that was how he is and totally not my style.

I did watch a TV special on Trump One and got a brief glimpse into the Trump Business Empire. I noticed right away that nobody crosses Donald J. Trump, or tells him no. If Trump is unhappy, somebody will get it fixed or become unhappily unemployed. I’ve seen that combination with other so-called successful businessmen and women at the top of their corporations.

I was of the same mind when he announced his run for president. I thought it was a publicity stunt and gave it no second thought and it seems that another TV special was aired on the life of Donald J. Trump which was meant to show him in an unfavorable light as his campaign began to take shape.

This documentary showed his life as a child, into military school and his academic achievement with business finance, when it wasn’t a popular field. Keeping in mind Trump had a childhood not unlike many others. His hard working parents and like many at the time “farmed” him out to military school. Where he excelled in sports, even boxing and the totality of his upbringing help shape his persona.

His business dealings had ups and downs. Trump had business ideas which he pursued that resulted in business successes and failures, which didn’t deter him, but it made him work harder to turn things around. At some point he even placed his entire business empire in jeopardy. He persisted until it finally paid off.

There was footage of his marriages and his divorces and his insatiable quest to be seen with beautiful women.

So during the campaign I mistook his aggressive behavior when he began attacking the republican candidates with the same fervor as the democrats. That turned me off on him altogether. I didn’t realize it then, and liberals haven’t recognized it even now, as the way in which Donald J. Trump approaches everything he does, all out 100% forward, no retreat.

The challenge lay before him once the dust settled and it was “The Donald” vs “Queen Hillary”. They are both close to the same age, both raised in New York and I’m sure were either friends or acquaintances at some point. What is interesting to me is that Hillary had been a republican, even a “Goldwater Girl” working for the Barry Goldwater campaign, while Trump had been a democrat. Quite the switch don’t you think?

So when nobody thought Trump would win the election, he did win the Electoral College overwhelmingly and the political world went into shock because Trump wasn’t even a politician.

This took the political world by storm as the voice of Americans, the “fly over country” conservative and democratic voters spoke loud and clear that we are tired of politics as usual in America.

It happened largely because Donald Trump used a new social media called Twitter to get his message across. At that time I didn’t know what Twitter was and didn’t have the time or inclination to find out.

Twitter has been an outstanding method of engaging American voters without utilizing the media. Media outlets have gone overboard criticizing his use of twitter or his seemingly unceasing tweets.

So like many Americans I decided to join Twitter and follow @realDonaldTrump so I could gauge for myself that the president really tweeted without some media interpretation.  It’s the same thing when a live even is broadcast, then afterwards commentators are telling you what the speaker really meant (not always the same).

My opinion began to change drastically when the personal attacks began to intensify during the campaign, and continued after the election. All the fake and staged protests, all the smoke and mirrors from all sides brought it all into focus for me and I became 100% behind Donald J. Trump.

Plus the fact that I believe that if God can take a poor shepherd boy named David to become king, he most certainly can take a man with severe character flaws and raise him up to become the great leader that I see in Donald Trump. What I see is a Great God leading a humble man with character flaws and lots of grit and determination.

Now Trump knows the value of re-shaping or defining what America stands for, in opposition to the previous president, whom the media simply followed around like a puppy who could do no wrong. I called it then and I call it now the Pied Piper Syndrome that nearly gave America a death roll.

Leaders of every nation have to demonstrate to their own people and to the world where their nation stands and Donald Trump has done that. He has said we are a great nation and have been unfairly dealt with by nations of the world, who have taken an unfair advantage in the UN where we pay a disproportionate amount to finance the UN without any return?

North Korea attacked South Korea in the Korean War of the early 1950s and allied forces routed the enemy all the way back to the Chinese border, until China stepped in with massive military forces flooding the border against allied forces of many nations.

KJU didn’t instill anything to the people of NOKO, his grandfather did, and his father before him over the past 70 years it has been made a public consciousness that USA is evil and they can defeat us AGAIN. (They do not admit loosing the Korean War, in fact they are still at war and we are their enemy).

Remember this Trump is a negotiator and a very good one at that. He has strengthen our relationship with our allies AND our enemies and they know that he says what he means and means what he says and in the face of opposition he stands firm. He will make the deal, but not at the expense of the American people. But rest assured that in time of crisis, our enemies will feel our might, just as our friends will feel our strength and support.

Even though here at home there is much opposition and dissension, it hasn’t deterred his focus on what he SAID he would do. Now the border must be secured, and no the wall will not be the end all cure for illegal immigration, but it will no longer be an open door either. It won’t be a 300 mile wall, it will be a restraining barrier where it is not now, and it will be more effective in controlling who enters this country.

More importantly federal immigration laws must be enforced by federal government agencies. Ignoring the laws or being ordered to stand down on identifying illegal aliens have never been the answer or the smart thing. Congress has been playing both sides against the middle for a very long time, and the politicians in chief of past administrations did nothing to fulfill their campaign promises, until now.

Trump is arrogant yes, but he is a straight shooter and a go for the jugular kind of guy. Remember this too, that in the Trump business empire nobody said no to Donald Trump without consequences. The same is true around Hillary, nobody stood in her way without fatal consequences. (I’ve never heard of Trump ordering a hit on someone, have you?)

Well enough for now. Trump never has been and is not now perfect but he is by far the best vessel to be used by God at this particular place and at this time. That I firmly believe. Although Trump never had military service, he received enough military school training to understand the relationship of the chain of command, but he has competent retired military officers in key positions to insure he doesn’t go off at the wrong time (I’m sure of that too). – I am the Real Truckmaster

In Other Words….Libs vs Conservs – Part 2

djt

This is a followup on an article I wrote and published titled “It’s My Constitutional Right” after receiving feedback from a friend with a point of view different than mine.

I think that liberals have bought hook, line and sinker every Trump tidbit thrown out there by the media, conservatives do not. The media slams Trump on his twitter account and his propensity to tweet seemingly non-stop. There is absolutely no way to know if the media is telling the truth or bending things a bit. Because of that matter I took to Twitter (never had before) so I could follow @realDonaldTrump and judge for myself. Not only do I get the tweets from his twitter account, but there are several other presidential twitter accounts that I have found and am now following as well.

(@POTUS; @DonTrump_POTUS; @WhiteHouse; @POTUSPress; and several more official twitter accounts)

I suggest checking the source BEFORE blindly reacting by what the media puts out, I do.

The typical liberal reaction is the title of that Bannon book “Fire and Fury”; ie everything Trump does or says is criticized to the 10,000th and it has been continual since the campaign began. That in its self is unreal, to say the least.

My conservative reaction to the tweets by the President is initially laughter. On rare instances when I can listen to the president go after someone like he did at the UN by calling KJU “Rocketman” was hilarious to me. Not the name calling, but the name he called KJU. I could not get the Elton John song out of my head since that moment.

What was meant as a means of public humiliation for KJU turned into a global disaster by the media. It was a signal for NOKO to tone down the missile tests, period. Yet the liberal left in congress began venting once again about the mental stability of the president. All that showed was the mental instability of those members of congress, who really need to go back to their home states and find a quiet place to live off the grid.

It was all evidence of the swamp creatures groaning because they are not able to control the president.

Now we haven’t been able to have a fully functioning and effective legislative body come together on hardly anything since the election, and after the release of the Bannon book, some enterprising millionaire purchased a copy of that book and gave it to EVERY LEGISLATOR. Why? Is that suppose to open them up to the workings of the Trump mind? Not likely.

If the liberal left really wanted to peel back the layers and see how the Trump mind works, they would have only to look at “The Art of the Deal” by Donald J. Trump. It’s that simple.

There is a whole media spin that has liberals spewing forth utter nonsense about the Trump Real Estate Investment Empire. Case in point, Trump has went bankrupt 5 times; Trump has taken advantage of the economic collapse and bought properties dumping people right out on the street; Trump flaunts his millionaire status and is a braggart who continually pats himself on the back for self-recognition.

I haven’t read the comments from the President’s claim about being super smart and a genius. I’m guessing the pundits haven’t compiled enough nouns and verbs together to complete a comprehensive sentence over that one.

What Trump has been saying AND doing over the years is telling people to do their job right the first time, so there is no second time. Do their job and be willing to sign their name to it, as their individual stamp of approval. Not only has he been telling others to do that, but he has placed the TRUMP brand on everything he has built and/or owns.

Who else can say they stand by their work? Harley Davidson, who just moved manufacturing of an American iconic motorcycle to overseas plants? Sears used to do that, but no longer stands behind their iconic brand either?

Well times have changed and places like Walmart, Target, K-Mart have all joined the dollar chain stores in selling foreign goods over comparable American made products. After all profit is profit, bottom line! It wasn’t long before the elections that manufacturers were told by the Obama administration to stop putting “Made in the USA” on their product packaging as it gives an unfair advantage against foreign trade? Come on now!

It was the same administration that signed a contract with China to ship American grown poultry to be dressed, processed, packaged and shipped back to the USA for our consumers (you and me)? How much sense does that make?

Whether you love him or hate him, President Donald Trump has proclaimed and taken a stand to “Make America Great Again” and the liberal left has gone nuts over it. Not only that one of his great campaign promises, but he has put action behind his words.

Donald Trump is a leader who pushes himself harder than he pushes others. His entire persona has been to strive for perfection in what you do, and don’t back down, don’t give up and never stop. Every roadblock is simply a detour, keeping the end game in sight.

Remember this Donald Trump is not your politician’s politician. When cornered a politician is likely to cower and find a way out of the mess he most likely created trying to please voters for their vote.

Trump is a very successful businessman, who has spent his entire life taking chances and perfecting the Art of the Deal. He has had ups and downs, had to put everything on the line (all the chips on the table) until the deal came through.

When others would go home crying, Trump would go home planning a comeback strategy. When others said no, Trump would continue pressing forward. Failure is not an option with Donald Trump. Don’t start something unless you are committed to the end.

It is high time that Americans (not liberals or conservatives), but Americans look at Trumps campaign promises and administrative agenda and DECIDE to get on board or be content to get run over, as the Trump Train is in perpetual motion and not slowing down.

It’s My Constitutional Right – Part 1

220px-Trump_the_art_of_the_deal

I’ve spent a bit of time reading why liberals spend so much time and effort to protest President Donald J. Trump.

In reality they are not attacking President Trump. He lost the popular vote therefore liberals declare it’s their constitutional right to protest because they say “he’s not my president”.

What they are really doing is attacking American voters who “exercised” their constitutional right to vote for the candidate they chose.

This kind of reminds me of the old bucket we used to have out back. It wasn’t the prettiest looking bucket, dented, worn and had a hole in it, but it was handy. We knew about the hole, and if we wanted to carry water we had to do and do it fast.

The liberal excuse of “he’s not my president” is their bucket. It’s not pretty, worn out by now and it has holes in it, but it’s handy.

But by what stretch of their imagination do they feel attacking anyone is their constitutional “right”?

Let us look at freedom of speech and free speech, two vastly different things and free is not always free.

The freedom of speech guaranteed by the constitution carries with it responsibility and there are boundaries. Boundaries are easily crossed over with personal and vicious attacks leading to violence against another or the destruction of personal or public property and are not protected by the constitution.

Free speech allows one to speak freely in private or public settings but also freedom to not speak.

What about liberal public speakers being shut down or violently attacked by conservatives exercising their constitutional rights?

How often do you hear of conservative public speakers defending the president, suffer from immediate and often violent reactions by liberals who claim only to be exercising their constitutional rights?

The constitution guarantees freedom of speech and freedom to vote, not freedom of attacking someone, their character or their vote. Not to rig elections, harass voters or use bully tactics on those who voted differently.

The constitution set in place the Electoral College as a means of insuring each state a fair and equal vote when electing a president.

Historically we hear cries from the liberal left about abolishing the Electoral College after an election where the popular vote is constitutionally overruled by the Electoral College.

That’s just not going to happen.

Everyone has opinions about everything and when it comes to religion and politics many people have multiple opinions.

You may have a right to express your opinion, but you do not have a right to force your opinion on another.

You do have the responsibility to honor the opinion of others, even when they differ from yours. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

No to WALL and Yes to DACA?

FB_IMG_1490403403717

Yes our immigration laws need reformed and brought into the current century, but all the fuss about keeping DACA (Illegal aliens brought to the US illegally) and a minority of citizens not wanting to strengthen our border with a “Wall” are simply ludicrous.
Have you travelled outside the United States? Where did you go? Did you need a passport or a visa? When you went to this other country, did they allow you to “make yourself at home” and do as you please?

I watched the news recently and an American citizen was jailed for spouting off about the leader of the nation she was visiting. She found out real quick that being disrespectful toward the leader of a nation is not acceptable. She thought that doing over there what our liberal “snowflakes” do here to President Trump was “no big deal”.

I challenge all the so called “liberals” who insist on showing their stupidity in public take a lesson from her experience. You’re so called “resistance” is nothing more than “insurrection” and we have laws to prosecute violators.

What we have is a massive “failure to educate” our children at home and at school. Parents go out of their way to “provide” for their children. What they are providing is not what they need to survive in the real world.

During the past 9 + years we have told our children there is no God. There is no religion, but Islam. There is no such thing as being born male or female, everyone is everything and have the “right” to choose.

We have taught our children blatant disrespect, for themselves, their family, their government and the world. We place more emphasis on combating animal abuse, but ignore the abuse of humans.

We show by our example that attacking anyone who doesn’t think like we do. We have taught that right is wrong and wrong is right, and wonder “What Happened”? Does that sound familiar Hillary?

If you take that thought process and apply it to illegal immigration, you are simply burying your head in the sand.

Illegal immigration is illegal!

There is a process to enter this country properly, legally. Coming here illegally is a crime and violators should be apprehended, fined and deported. Those who are here illegally and commit a crime should be processed thru our judicial system, imprisoned and the deported.

How hard is that to understand?

There is no justification for crossing the border without papers.

If someone is being persecuted, there are provisions for being granted an emergency visa, and they work toward obtaining their citizenship by obeying the laws of this country and working to assimilate into American society.

Anyone who comes here and obtains US citizenship under false pretenses should have their US citizenship revoked and those who commit serious crimes must be held accountable, they should be imprisoned and then deported.

It is the responsibility of our government to secure our borders, and maybe each state bordering another nation should do so with National Guard troops?

We don’t have to tell other countries to secure their borders because they do that without question.

If you are still not persuaded to secure our borders, I propose this simple solution.

We could convince Mexico to waive its sovereignty as a nation and request to be annexed into the United States as our 51st state – Mexico.

The president of present day Mexico would become an elected official, the governor. The Mexican military would revert to National Guard forces, and would be responsible for patrolling the southern border between Guatemala and Mexico. All Mexican citizens would become US Citizens by default.
Now wouldn’t that solve a lot of political wrangling over illegal vs legal immigration?

Immigration is not a “gray matter”. It’s straight forward and I suggest that our legislators begin using that “gray matter” between their ears when it comes to securing our borders. – I am the Real Truckmaster

Let Me Ask You This?

As we prepare to leave the year 2017 and go into the year 2018 there are some obvious questions that we need to ask ourselves, how have some of you have gained so much intimate knowledge of those who are in the news recently?

  • Who put you in the jump seat?
  • Have you ever met them?
  • What kind of relationship do you have with that them?
  • Where did you get your “facts” about them?
  • How do you justify your decision about them?
  • Have you told them to their face?

Everyone has an opinion about everything. Some have more opinions about how other people should do or act, and when they should do it! Maybe you should research your subject, meet that person, and get to know them, who they really are before you make any rash statements against that person’s name, character or the position they hold.

What if I said

“Hillary is an Idiot!” or

“Trump is a Great!” or the more personal

“You’re Stupid!”

Do I have any facts to back up my statements?

It’s different when you know someone and you get to know their character. You have a connection with that person and when you hear someone trashing them you become offended and defensive of what that person said or wrote. When you don’t know that person you’re trashing and believe only what you’ve read or heard others say about that person, all you’re doing is smearing their character without any substantial or personal knowledge.

You’ve simply “Jumped to Conclusions” and are just “Spouting off at the Mouth” or “Blowing off Steam” as they used to say.

What happened over the past two years during the campaign where many people jumped into the race for President; Democrats; Republicans; Independents; and many other groups or parties? Everybody wanted to either get their name and their face on TV and in the news, or they had become greedy (hungry for fame, money, and power).

There were many “good” candidates, many “bad” candidates and an untold number of “unknown” candidates in the race for the White House. Many of the unknown candidates were just that, they were unknowns without name recognition or substance. Those were not considered serious candidates and some may have gotten only a handful of token votes by family or friends. Many of the good candidates were in the same boat so to speak. They had name recognition, but their track records were somewhat unclear and the voters simply ignored them and moved on. The same happened with many of the bad candidates, their name recognition and track record did nothing to push them to the top of the pile and they too were simply ignored as the voters moved on.

In the final analysis it came down to what I call a bad candidate with lots of name recognition and a horrible track record. Her resume was all over the place as a lawyer, first lady (state and federal) and as a senator and cabinet member. This was not her first run at this office, but her track record was anything but stellar. Her quest for power and money bought and brought in lots of supporters and many voters were smitten. If she were to say “follow me” over the edge of a cliff, her voters would jump at the drop of a hat and she would smilingly wave them goodbye from a safe place.

Also in the running was what some considered a publicity stunt, a political novelty, a man seemingly at the top of his game. His game however was not politics, but real estate and business. His running was considered a joke and there were many who counted him out, way too soon. As the debates came and went it was clear that the dealer of the deck was stacking it against him. The media attacked him, his family and his organization. Then the liberal politicians joined forces with the liberal media and intensified the attacks with a host of fake news “leaks” which were designed to embarrass him and make him drop out of the race. Neither the media nor the politicians knew was the nature of the man, only his reputation for what they would call “self gratification” and “grand standing” by someone they considered just an entertainer. He spoke to the heart of America, about what has been brewing under the surface for a very long time. He talked with optimism and of the future of America and connected with American voters of all political parties and he was viciously attacked for it.

When politicians are attacked, they tend to back away so as to get out of the lime light. They then fumble for the right words to appease their attackers and sooner than later they drop out of sight and are never heard from again. Another mistake about him is the fact he was not a politician, and what was not taken into account about him can be summed up into a book title, “The Art of the Deal” and written by none other than Donald J. Trump, whom I have never met, nor have I met Secretary Clinton.

But what I know from watching their actions on TV and in the news is that each of them is driven. Hillary is driven by money and power which is something you can’t get enough of and can’t let go.

Trump is driven by patriotism and an extraordinary sense of what it takes to be successful in business. That is what he brings to the political table. Where some will look at something as a problem, he looks at the solution. Where others concede to defeat and say it can’t be done, he presses forward and does it anyway. When others stand in the way, he stays focused and goes around them, and then comes back to bring them into the fold. Without having met him, I can say that President Trump is a man of extreme focus and once he sets his sights on something his unwavering goal is not failure, but of accomplishment. When recently asked on camera if he intends to keep ALL of his campaign promises. His answer is I intend to keep as many as I can, and have already kept.

What has me perplexed is that while trashing the president I hear people saying can’t everyone just leave “Poor Hillary” alone? Well let me say this, there is nothing “poor” about Hillary. She has amassed a tremendous amount of financial capitol, thru various and nefarious financial arrangements with men of power in various countries, and at the expense of American lives and national security. It is only fitting that her most recent book asked the question, “What Happened?”  As if she doesn’t know? The election is over and in three weeks we will be celebrating the anniversary of President Donald J. Trump’s first full year in office.

Hillary has spent many nights waking up inside the residence of the White House while William Jefferson Clinton was president, and I wonder if now, doesn’t she know when she wakes up that her residence is no longer in “the residence”?

Nothing New Under the Sun

2 year old cowboy salutes the flag

I’ve been going back over articles, notes and political ranting of the past 9 years and have come to the realization that there is nothing new under the sun when it comes to politics. What we had during the 2008 primary was Senator Clinton and Senator Obama vying for the Democratic Party votes and for the office of the Presidency was repeated during the 2016 primary as Secretary Hillary Clinton and Real Estate Tycoon Donald Trump sought the American voters in the quest for the Presidency.

There was a struggling economy, high taxes, homelessness, a failed healthcare system and illegal immigration was a huge problem. Remember the Freddy Mack and Fannie Mae fiasco? What about communities trying to eliminate homeless camps? Lots of folks were without healthcare? Illegals were flooding across the border?

What were the promises made by politicians back then and what proposed solutions were given in the form of campaign promises? In the first 11 months of the presidency of Donald J. Trump what has changed – The economy; taxes; homelessness; Obamacare or Trumpcare; immigration?

I venture to say that where there was despair, there is hope; where there was no confidence in our government; there is more confidence;

There has been a concerted effort by those aligned with the ideology of Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama and fueled by main stream media to bring despair and division to the American people.

That being said there has been a more concerted effort by those aligned with the ideology of President Donald Trump to bridge that division and to Make America Great Again; to bring pride back into America.

I can say that Americans are proud, hard workers who simply want to be treated fairly, taxed modestly and able to raise their families in safety, and to live the American dream. That is what has changed in just the last 11 months. – I am the Real Truckmaster

Rocketman of North Korea

Elton John: Rocketman

She packed my bags last night pre-flight
Zero hour nine a.m.
And I’m gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much I miss my wife
It’s lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight

And I think it’s gonna be a long long…

During President Trump’s speech at the UN, everyone, except the delegate from North Korea (who was furiously writing), were attentive, especially when President Trump referred to KJU as “Rocket Man”. I busted up laughing (here all by myself) with the words to Elton John’s song running thru my head, it was then that I decided to do this simple illustration. LOL – I am the Real Truckmaster

Qualified to be President

humpday

That’s a nice thought but how does one prepare to be president? Is there some secret test you have to take? Who would you submit it to? Who exactly is the one who “certifies” that you are now worthy to become president? So how can someone make a pre-determination, or rather a post-determination that Donald J. Trump is not “qualified” to be president?

Those are some of my questions when I hear or read about some self-proclaimed “experts” declaring with certainty that Trump is unfit to be president. Who made THEM subject matter experts on the fitness of a president?

Why don’t we go all the way back to the beginning, to see who conducted the “Presidential Fitness Test” for good old George Washington? Did someone smuggle it in from France? (Oh wait France didn’t have a president!) Maybe the test came surfaced from some Russian contacts the very early Trump connection?

Let’s fast forward to “Honest Abe” Abraham Lincoln. Wasn’t he just some backwoods self taught lawyer? He didn’t even have twitter. How did he become qualified or fit to become president? Who certified him? Did they use an invisible scale of comparison to previous presidents?

Maybe if we come a little bit closer, what about Harry Truman? Wasn’t he just a shop keeper? Oh I almost forgot, he was a military officer during World War I? Maybe that was his qualifier? After all George Washington was a military man before him.

What about John Fitzgerald Kennedy? How did he meet the qualifications to become president? Was it money and power? Did someone give him the “PFT”? Wait he was a naval officer, PT 109 (I saw the movie) but who qualified him, his dad, who?

If we come even closer let’s look at George Hubert Walker Bush, who certified him to be president? Wasn’t he a presidential appointee, ambassador or CIA head or something? Wait he too was a military man, a pilot during World War II. Maybe he had a Russian connection?

Oh now I see, it was William Jefferson Clinton. He obviously was qualified, a lawyer, an attorney general, a governor and he was married to Hillary Rodham Clinton. Surely he had the touch. He was qualified.

What about “Barry Sotoro” aka Barack Hussein Obama? What was his qualification for president? Like many before him, wasn’t he a lawyer? Wait he was a community organizer in Chicago, and he was married to Michelle (forgot her maiden name) Obama so surely he was qualified? He wasn’t a military man (unless you count the Black Panthers)? He was a senator and most of all he was a democrat, just like Jack Kennedy before him, he had to be qualified?

Well that brings us to “The Donald” as he liked to be called, Donald J. Trump. Who administered the “PFT” to him? Who set the bar to become president? Actually who told Trump he had permission to go forward with his bid to be president? Who told him business dealings with Russia would be a disqualifier, rather than actually selling Uranium like Hillary did? Isn’t he just a rich businessman with money to burn and going after the job of president is just another feather in his cap? He doesn’t even like America (some have said), not as much as he likes himself?

What I see in President Donald J. Trump is a man who has answered a calling that few could or would.  You see it isn’t something that gains anything additional for a man who has virtually everything one could ask for, family, money and possessions. What I see is a man who saw the awful direction this country has spiraled into and decided that enough is enough.

Like many of us who see nothing but corruption in government every time we turn on the TV. We see congress men and women acting downright outrageous, making ludicrous statements and doing nothing, nothing without somehow being financial “enlightened” in their bank accounts for passing things like the “bridge to nowhere” and studying how sand fleas mate or some such idiotic thing?

Not only did Trump see the corruption, but he decided that he COULD do something about it. He is not a man who does anything to fail. Failure is not acceptable. Trump does everything I say again EVERYTHING to win. Why run a race if you’re not going to TRY and win? Trump doesn’t stop at trying, he plays to win.

So when politicians try to lay the political blame game on him, he doesn’t fall for it. He doesn’t act like a politician. Maybe he doesn’t act like a lawyer either? Trump is a successful businessman and applying successful business practices is something that has not been applied to government before. At least not by someone who knows how to be successful in business, Trump is a negotiator and intent on pulling the best deal out of any negotiation he is engaged in. That holds true on the international scale as well.

As President, Trump has faced his fiercest battles with congress and the media. Some have said he is trying to circumvent congress while trying to stifle the media? I say hogwash. Trump is trying to motivate/shame congress over their lack of ethics and refusal to do the job voters have sent them to congress to do. As for the media, Trump has put their unethical tactics and fake news stories front and center where even a blind man can see them for what they really are – fake news. Any reporter or news editor worth his or her salt would take that as a challenge to simply report the news, not create fake news. I just wonder when the White House Press Secretary will simply withdraw the credentials of reporters from CNN and others and replace them in the press room with reporters who are committed to integrity in their reporting?

If you decided to run for president would you be able to pass the same “Presidential Fitness Test” that the congress and the fake news folks have declared was flunked by President Trump? Who would let you know if you passed such a test? – I am the Real Truckmaster
