In Answer to the Question of Kamala Harris Qualifications for President

 

During a recent press conference President Trump was asked about Kamala Harris’s Citizenship disqualifying her from the office of the Presidency, his answer was that he’d have someone look into it.

 

The media did what they always do with President Trump – they blasted him without FIRST doing their own due diligence. They could have taken his answer seriously, and then conducted a little bit of research to determine even though Senator Kamala Harris was in fact born in California to non US citizen parents, raised in her father’s homeland Jamaica, in Oakland and with her mother in Canada after their divorce. Senator Harris is a naturalized citizen (as were her parents before her). It has been stressed that Senator Harris is a 14th Amendment citizen and that sparked my interest. According to the Constitution of the United States the requirement of being a “natural born Citizen” is not extended to a naturalized citizen, not even the 14th Amendment has changed that.

Section 1

 

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

 

Amendment XIV (1868)

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.   Section 2.  Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.   Section 3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.   Section 4. The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void. Section 5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

 

In the Dred Scott decision of 1857, the Supreme Court had said that African-Americans were not citizens. This amendment declared that every person born or naturalized in the U.S. was a citizen. The amendment’s “due process” clause has had enormous constitutional importance, since the Supreme Court has used it to apply most of the Bill of Rights to the states. The amendment also establishes that all citizens are entitled to “equal protection of the laws,” the provision which the Supreme Court cited in Brown v. Board of Education in 1954, ruling school segregation unconstitutional.

 

What was surprising was that because the question was not contesting her citizenship, but her constitutional authority to assume the Vice Presidency and/or the Presidency if warranted. Democratic politicians always have a way of going where no man or woman should ever go when questioning the truth. Democrats did the same thing when Barack Obama’s citizenship was challenged. They simply attacked anyone who dared question it. In my opinion who ever in the Democratic National Committee that made the decision for Joe Biden did not fully research the constitutionality of their decision or of its intended or unintended consequences. I’m no rocket scientist but I am someone and I did look into it and even a blind man could see through their argument. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Conspiring for the Highest Office

 

To liberal, progressive and uninformed voters this will come off as corny as Corn Pop himself. To conservative voters following politics it will make perfect sense. So sit back and prepare to be amused.

 

Remember when it seemed that everyone in Democratic Party politics wanted to jump in the race to oppose President Trump’s reelection? There were sitting members of Congress who overwhelmingly impeached him over false, misleading and unproven allegations of wrong doing as part of their active resistance beginning on day one which continues to this day.

 

Of the Democratic candidates many were well qualified, some had widespread name recognition and one wasn’t even a Democrat but was favored to receive the nomination. Things from the left are not always what they seem and all of a sudden all the candidates simply dropped out of the race leaving former Vice President Joe Biden as the presumptive Presidential nominee. How did that happen?

 

Was it because of his many years of “public service”, his connection to his boss former President Obama or some other unknown factor? We may never know for sure. What is perfectly clear to me is that those closest to Biden are using him. In my opinion this is clearly elder abuse and those closest to him should have been protecting him, yet have chosen to exploit him for political purposes, as has the Democratic National Committee.

 

After weeks of self-isolation in the Biden’s basement bunker in Delaware the announcement of his choice for a Vice Presidential running mate is truly amazing and historical. Without the Democratic Convention or further deliberation his pick of Senator Kamala Harris seemed to be one of outside pressure to pick a younger than him, black female for the VP spot.

 

Ever since former Secretary Hillary Clinton campaigned on the premise that America is ready for a female president and this is clearly a lead in to making that a possibility. After Barack Obama’s ground breaking election as the 44^th President it would only be fitting that a woman could become the 49^th Vice President and the first black woman to achieve that lofty goal, if it were just that simple.

 

As I said earlier things on the left are not just that simple. Democrats seem to forget that the devil is in the details. It has been a long standing goal of the Congressional Black Caucus to have an African-American Woman become President and there is no shortage of highly qualified CBC women to choose from like Friederika Wilson, Maxine Waters, Karen Bass (chairwoman), Eddie Bernice Johnson, Joyce Betty, Robin Kelly, Jahana Hayes, Lauren Underwood, Kamala Harris, Lucy McBeth, Brenda Lawrence, Stacey Plaskett, Gwen Moore, Bonnie Watson Coleman, Yvette Clarke, Marcia Fudge, Alma Adams, Terri Sewell, Sheila Jackson Lee, Eleanor Holmes Norton. Outside the CBC there are many well qualified women who have the background that would make them very good choices for Vice President.

 

So how did it come about that Kamala Harris was singled out so quickly and by Biden after she had most recently called him out as a sexual abuser of a woman she said she believed? She has political baggage of her own that she brings to the table. It would appear that her father came to the US from Jamaica and her mother from India, both as students in the early 1960s and met in college where they both become politically active in the civil rights movement at UC Berkeley. She claims to have a stroller’s eye-view of the movement.

 

What is also clear is her qualifications for the VP slot on the Biden ticket were simply that her skin color was black (really brown) and she was a younger woman instead of her political accomplishments which tend to show her true colors (pun intended). Her previous claims of being a black woman or an African-American woman are not supported by her ancestry.

 

Senator Harris’s 3 ½ years in Congress have given her a legacy of teaming up with Senator Cory Booker and along with other congressional Democrat’s attempted to discredit Judge Kavanagh during his Supreme Court nomination hearing. She sided with a woman Harris said she believed and after the woman admitted to making up false allegations Harris offered no apology for her actions.

 

There is a lot of gerrymandering going on within the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Party and Congressional Democrats as they attempt to prevent President Trump from being reelected. Yet the Democratic Party playbook is flawed and their failed tactics are driving many democratic voters away. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Let the Record Show

 

On television dramas lawyers would begin with “Let the record show” in order to place evidence OFFICIALLY ON THE RECORD. So it is only fitting to let the 2020 Presidential Candidates stand on their political records.

 

President Trump has a political record of 3 years, 7 months in office.

Mr. Trump announced his candidacy for the Presidency on June 16, 2015. He then accepted the Republican nomination for President of the United States in July of 2016, having defeated seventeen other contenders during the Republican primaries. On November 8, 2016, Mr. Trump was elected President in the largest Electoral College landslide for a Republican in 28 years. Mr. Trump won more than 2,600 counties nationwide, the most since President Ronald Reagan in 1984. And he received the votes of more than 62 million Americans, the most ever for a Republican candidate. These voters, in delivering a truly national victory and historic moment, rallied behind Mr. Trump’s commitment to rebuilding our country and disrupting the political status quo that had failed to deliver results. Mr. Trump won, in part, because he campaigned in places Republicans have had difficulty winning—Flint, Michigan, charter schools in inner-city Cleveland, and Hispanic churches in Florida.  He went there because he wanted to bring his message of economic empowerment to all Americans. Millions of new Republicans trusted Mr. Trump with their vote because of his commitment to delivering prosperity through a reformed tax code, an improved regulatory environment, and better trade deals. President Trump’s victory has brought Americans of all backgrounds together, and he is committed to delivering results for the Nation every day he serves in office. President Trump has been married to his wife, Melania, for twelve years, and they are parents to their son, Barron. Mr. Trump also has four adult children, Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany, as well as ten grandchildren.

 

Vice President Pence has a political record of 12 years as an Indiana Representative in the House, 3 years as Governor of Indiana and 3 years, 7 months in office.

Vice President Pence set off for Hanover College, earning his bachelor’s degree in history in 1981. While there, he renewed his Christian faith which remains the driving force in his life. He later attended Indiana University School of Law and met the love of his life, Second Lady Karen Pence. After graduating, Vice President Pence practiced law, led the Indiana Policy Review Foundation, and began hosting The Mike Pence Show, a syndicated talk radio show and a weekly television public affairs program in Indiana. Along the way he became the proud father to three children, Michael, Charlotte, and Audrey. Growing up in Indiana, surrounded by good, hardworking Hoosiers, Vice President Pence always knew that he needed to give back to the state and the country that had given him so much. In 2000, he launched a successful bid for his local congressional seat, entering the United States House of Representatives at the age of 40. The people of East-Central Indiana elected Vice President Pence six times to represent them in Congress. On Capitol Hill he established himself as a champion of limited government, fiscal responsibility, economic development, educational opportunity, and the U.S. Constitution. His colleagues quickly recognized his leadership ability and unanimously elected him to serve as Chairman of the House Republican Study Committee and House Republican Conference Chairman. It was Indiana’s success story, Vice President Pence’s record of legislative and executive experience, and his strong family values that prompted President Donald Trump to select Mike Pence as his running mate in July 2016. The American people elected President Donald Trump and Vice President Pence on November 8, 2016. President Donald Trump and Vice President Pence entered office on January 20, 2017.

 

 

Former Vice President Biden has a political record as of 1-24-2017 he ranked #18 out of 25 Longest Serving Senators with 36 years, 13 days in Congress and 8 years in office.

He graduated, University of Delaware, Newark, 1965, and Syracuse (N.Y.) University College of Law 1968; admitted to the Delaware bar in 1969 and commenced practice in Wilmington; served on the New Castle County Council 1970-1972; elected as a Democrat to the United States Senate in 1972 and reelected in 1978, 1984, 1990, 1996, 2002, and again in 2008 and served from January 3, 1973, until January 15, 2009, when he resigned to become Vice President; chair, Committee on the Judiciary (One Hundredth through One Hundred Third Congresses), Committee on Foreign Relations (One Hundred Seventh Congress [January 3-20, 2001; June 6, 2001-January 3, 2003], One Hundred Tenth Congress); was an unsuccessful candidate for the Democratic nomination for president in 2008, but was elected Vice President of the United States on the Democratic ticket headed by Barack Obama in 2008; reelected in 2012, and served from January 20, 2009, until January 20, 2017.

 

Senator Harris’ political record of 3 years, 7 months in office:

After earning an undergraduate degree from Howard University and a law degree from the University of California, Hastings, she began her career in the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. In 2003, Kamala became the District Attorney of the City and County of San Francisco. Among her achievements as District Attorney, Harris started a program that gives first-time drug offenders the chance to earn a high school diploma and find employment. Having completed two terms as the District Attorney of San Francisco, Kamala was elected as the first African-American and first woman to serve as California’s Attorney General. In this role, she worked tirelessly to hold corporations accountable and protect the state’s most vulnerable people. Over the course of her nearly two terms in office, Kamala won a $25-billion settlement for California homeowners hit by the foreclosure crisis, defended California’s landmark climate change law, protected the Affordable Care Act, helped win marriage equality for all Californians, and prosecuted transnational gangs that trafficked in guns, drugs, and human beings. In 2017, Kamala D. Harris was sworn in as a United States Senator for California, the second African-American woman and first South Asian-American senator in history. She serves on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, the Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on the Judiciary, and the Committee on the Budget. Kamala has spent her life fighting injustice. On 8-11-2020 she became the VP running mate on the Biden/Harris democratic ticket for 2020.

The 2020 Presidential Campaign is not about what they have listed in their biographies, it is about what they promise to do moving forward – if elected.

 

What have they said they would do to and for the American people?

 

President Trump recently made six promises to American workers for his second term 8-7-2020:

 

Defeat the China Virus:

“First and foremost, we will defeat the China virus,” Trump said to the workers gathered for his speech.

“It’s bad, and we have made tremendous strides. We are attacking the virus from every angle and through this aggressive strategy, we will win the war and it will happen sooner than people think,” he added…

 

Rebuild American manufacturing:

“My second promise to you is this,” Trump said. “We will rise from the current adversity of this horrible invisible enemy and we will be more prosperous and resilient than ever before.”…

 

Build America into a Center of Medical Manufacturing:

“My third promise is to build on these gains to turn America into the premier medical manufacturing, pharmacy, and drugstore of the world,” Trump said…

 

Move Millions of Manufacturing Jobs Back to America:

“My fourth promise to American workers: Beyond our medical supply chains over the next four years, we will onshore millions of new manufacturing jobs, across many other critical sectors that are vital to our national security and prosperity,” he said…

 

Using Tariffs to Fight for Fair Trade:

“My fifth promise to American workers is to bring back American jobs and factories using every tool at my disposal, including tariffs,” Trump said.

 

Put Workers First:

Judge for yourself whether returning the politics of the past on steroids will benefit American, Politicians or help to sustain the economy. Will raising taxes without reduced federal spending do anything but hurt the middle class and lower income Americans by driving corporations overseas – again? Pay attention to what the candidates are saying today during the pandemic? Do they make a valid case for or against opening up the country to build a stronger economy?
