Gun Violence vs Gun Control

 

Ever wonder why the call goes out for gun control (taking away guns from law abiding citizens) goes out after a criminal commits a “mass shooting”? We see this during election campaign seasons and well isn’t every day campaign season? What is equally interesting is why the daily shootings in inner cities like Chicago warrant no media attention, often not even a passing comment.

 

So I must ask the question we’re all wondering about, who is orchestrating all the gun violence? Is it the Democrats, the President, or the Congress? Maybe it’s the white supremacy or white nationalist groups, possibly Antifa? There has to be a coordinating and organizing headquarters that “schedules” for lack of a better term, these shootings, riots and spontaneous demonstrations don’t you think? I have my suspicions as to who is ultimately behind this sense only one politician campaigned on being a community organizer and hails from Chicago.

 

We’ve been hounded about banning assault weapons will prevent these gun killings and I hate to break it to you but assault weapons have been banned for quite some time now and there is a federal law that prohibits killing (murder) of another person that seems to get shoved into a corner somewhere out of the way so as not to stand in the way of the ban guns agenda.

 

Just in the past 2 days we’ve had a mass shooting in California, Texas, Ohio and Illinois. These have resulted in over 50 gun deaths and in many cases there were no armed citizens able to stop the shooting. Almost immediately and as if on que the politicians called out President Trump for causing the violence. They did the same thing right after his inauguration when gun violence sprang up suddenly and they blamed him for causing it. Next they blamed the venue for which the violence occurred, i.e. in one case Walmart as being responsible.

 

There were indications that the shooters were somehow connected (belonged to the same gang of domestic terrorists), or same political party as one politician or another and they were somehow responsible. It is clear that blaming the shooters was not going to happen as they once again called for banning automatic weapons. One politician basically vote for me and I’ll send the police into your home to confiscate your weapons forcibly.

 

Many theories have surfaced and lots of blame being spread around but have you heard of any viable solutions to end gun violence? If I remember correctly back in the days of the wild, wild west the sheriff or marshal would deputize every able bodied man with a gun and a horse and take off after the bad guys, stopping only when they were no longer breathing (Hollywood has it that way).

 

It wasn’t that long ago when President Trump championed a nationwide Concealed Carry Permit that was federally issued and valid in all 50 (Sorry Obama there are only 50) states. Those created uproar with nothing come from it.

 

In my opinion (I’m not an expert by any means) the way to stop gun violence is through education, training and licensing. This should be a mandatory training for every abled bodied man and woman over the age of 18. It could be like registering for the draft (yes they still do that) only it could be called Registering for Federal Firearms Training and Certification (FFTC) classes. The cost should be minimal yet be an investment each citizen could afford to pay.

 

Training is already in place in gun stores with arms dealers across the nation. The cost factor would cover the cost of fingerprinting and background checks (federal subsidy). Training would be for familiarization, safe handling of fire arms, cleaning and storage inside the home (child proofing). Successful completion would entitle a Federal Certificate, an embossed Federal FFTC/FCC permit valid nationwide. Re-certification would be required every 5 years. Successful completion would entitle the graduate to a monetary discount on the purchase of their next firearm from the venue that conducted the training.

 

I feel it is better to safeguard the 2nd Amendment rights of the citizen thorough proper training and licensing and enable safe self-defense of the individual and family, than to attempt to disarm law abiding citizens without a fight. It is a well-known fact that criminals prey on the unarmed citizens and are often not prepared when encountering a properly trained and armed citizen.

 

Some training venues available are gun dealers, shooting ranges, class 3 arms dealers, Reserve and National Guard armories with ranges and in many cases US military facilities. What is currently lacking are federal guidelines (requirements) for a standardized nationwide training program. Maybe President Trump could assemble a panel of training center representatives from all 50 states to write the training guidelines and present it to both chambers of Congress for the necessary legislation, before a Presidential Signing into law.

 

Bringing a solution to the table is much better than pointing fingers and doing absolutely nothing! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

There once was a President

 

During World War Two young men and women came together committed to serve this nation and the free world against the naked aggression of the Axis powers of Germany and Japan. A number of men went into the US Naval Reserve, while women served in the homeland as mothers, wives, sisters and aunts or went to work in factories making war machines and supplies. Other women became pilots ferrying aircraft from the factory to wherever it was needed at home and abroad. This was a time of intense patriotism and the united goal was to stop the spread of communism and aggression.

 

Of those who survived World War II a number of veterans went into business or politics. Of those who went into politics a select few became President of the United States. Their war experience affected and changed their lives forever. One of those men was John Fitzgerald Kennedy. During the war he commanded PT-109 and helped rescue his surviving crew after the craft was sunk in the Pacific.

 

Coming from a wealthy family steeped in politics he went first into the House and then in the Senate. Kennedy then ran against the incumbent Vice President Richard Nixon to win the nomination and finally became the 35th and youngest elected President of the United States at 43 inaugurated in January 1961.

 

Kennedy inherited a number of situations from President Eisenhower. One of great importance was a spat with Russia about Berlin, Germany and Kennedy felt that appeasement of Russia building a wall in Berlin would reduce tensions and the threat of Global Thermonuclear War.

 

The next situation Kennedy had to deal with was the commitment to send advisors to Vietnam to train the South Vietnamese. The overwhelming call was for combat troops in Vietnam and Kennedy was against it. In fact Kennedy ordered his chief advisor Aval Harriman to instruct the US Ambassador to India to begin negotiations with Vietnam for a peaceful settlement and the withdrawal of US advisors from Vietnam. That order was not carried out purposefully.

 

The third situation was the Cuban Missile Crisis where expat Cubans were trained and equipped to take the nation back from Fidel Castro. This escapade quickly failed and heightened tensions as Kennedy’s military advisors wanted to proceed with jets, bombers and troops to deal forcibly with Cuba and Kennedy said “No” and did not want to ratchet up existing high tensions with Russia without first negotiating a possible solution.

 

Because Kennedy was young with no experience his military advisors doubted his resolve at dealing with the overall world situation. It’s possible they did not provide Kennedy with timely or accurate information even when he requested it.

 

America loved the Kennedy’s and dubbed them from “Camelot”. Their two children were the focus of many television specials or photographic shots in the White House.

 

Kennedy envisioned an America where the sky was the limit and put into motion or set the stage for the first man on the moon mission with NASA. Kennedy wanted Americans to not depend upon government, but to strive to do their part in making America better and stronger. Kennedy began to distrust his advisors and used back channel negotiators in dealing with various world powers.

 

Things came to a head on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas when Kennedy was assassinated and Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in as President #36.

 

Conspiracy theorists wonder was it any coincidence in the assassination of South Vietnamese President just a couple of weeks before President Kennedy. There is speculation that Kennedy’s wanting to keep the US out of the war in Indochina, his not pushing forward with a Cuba invasion and allowing Russia to erect a massive wall separating Berlin into Eastern and Western Sectors all contributed to his death and not at the hands of patsy Lee Harvey Oswald. Lots of loose ends became tied up rather too quickly and the Kennedy Assassination became classified. Kennedy saw America in a different light than his predecessors in politics. Normally a quiet man, his outspokenness on issues he was passionate about had to draw enemies and made himself as a target.

 

Since World War II there have been only 3 presidents who did not serve in the military, William Jefferson Clinton #42, Barack Hussain Obama #44 and Donald John Trump #45. Each came from different backgrounds, two became lawyers then went on to become a governor, a community organizer and a successful businessman/entertainer and is now the sitting President of the United States.

 

It might surprise you that ideologically the one most closely aligned with the ideology of John F. Kennedy is Donald J. Trump. Their vision of America is one of resourcefulness and progress where we can become better as individuals and collectively as a nation. Kennedy felt negotiating from strength was the duty of America. Trump feels that negotiating with an enemy is necessary because one must always know your enemy. Although their styles and mannerisms are as different as their political party affiliations, their goal for America was/is the same.

 

Political parties of yesteryear are not the same political parties we deal with today. Since the days of John F. Kennedy the Democratic Party has migrated so far left that it has become all that Kennedy worked to prevent. Even the Republican Party has changed and much of that may be that Congress has changed over the years.

 

Everything seems to be about money, power and getting the votes, so that life in Congress goes on as it always has. Americans are smarter than that and we deserve better from our politicians. They work for US “We The People” and we must constantly remind them at the ballot box during every election.

 

I don’t say that these two presidents are the same, they are not. However their ideals are American ideals and not borne out of political parties or necessities. Remember we are American’s first and political parties can come and go, but America remains! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

I know you’re going to say this is nonsense but I couldn’t help thinking about whenever President Trump tweets regardless of the subject matter some hot shot up and coming wanna be comedian or self-rising star of a politician will immediate try their hand at standup comedy in an attempt to swat the fly off the nose of Donald J. Trump. It almost always doesn’t go well for them.

 

Take for example the president’s tweet about professional sports players kneeling during the national anthem should be fired. That should be a given when someone disrespects the National Anthem, the Flag, the President or the United States. If as they say we were under a dictatorship, there would have been public executions a long time ago for doing any of those things.

 

What happened was widespread outcry not at the disrespectful behavior of Kapernick and others. It was public outcry of the vocal minority who were offended that the President would tweet such a thing. You know fire our sports “heroes” who make a whole lot more money chasing the pigskin around a grassy field of green.

 

That has blossomed into what it is 2 years later when a United States National Woman’s Soccer Team Captain during the awards portion of an international playoff, dropped the US Flag to walk on it before using a profanity laced tyrannical rant cussing out President Trump (while “representing” the USA) to a shocked and televised live before an international crowd.

 

Were any of these outrageous acts of disobedience met with disciplinary action by the Corporations these teams represent? Were any of the offending players fired? Has anyone been held accountable for their actions? The answer in each case is NO (although Kapernick claims that his contract wasn’t renewed because of Trump).

 

Almost immediately and without ceasing comedian Kathy Griffin began taunting the president before a televised crowd with what was representing the bloody severed head of Trump and calling that freedom of speech. She has sense blamed Trump on making her not funny anymore? Go figure!

 

There are many other examples where President Trump has fired off a tweet, no pun intended, telling James Comey and others “You’re Fired” which is his Constitutional Authority as President. And when he revokes their security clearance they blame him for unfairly punishing them.

 

Many high-profile politicians have attacked the president only to have him tweet a new moniker for them like: Sleepy Joe Biden, AOC +3, Crooked Hillary, and most recently Elijah King of Baltimore. Every time they bring forth their best shot, Trump counter punches back and with a vengeance and fury.

 

Some have called that un-presidential, but guess what that behavior is very much who Trump is as an individual and who he has become as President. I suspect over the next 6 years we’ll see and hear more of that coming from those on the left as President Trump lets them have it with his 12-guage twitter account. I look forward to the future as lifetime politicians have run up against a lifetime fighter who counter-punches beyond these street smart politicians. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Process of Elimination

 

The world we live in seems to be spinning out of control. Reporters, journalists and analyists monitor every single word printed or spoken and scan it through a political correctness microscope.

 

What I’ve wondered is how this PC filter is so smart? It can take a word uttered, tweeted, printed or spoken and turn out one of two interpretations.

 

If author is (Democrat) word = Freedom of Speech

OR

If author is (Republican) word = Racist, Homophobic, Islamaphobic, Genderaphobic

 

Whoever invented this smart PC version must be making a lot of money.

 

I haven’t watched any of the 2020 Democratic Presidential Debates because I would rather sit on the porch and watch wood rot instead. There are 24 presidential hopefuls who each see themselves as the one to slay the dragon (Trump) and rescue the princess (America) to occupy the White House and sit on the presidential throne (Presidency).

 

In a way it reminds me of the 2016 GOP Presidential Debates. I remember the very first debate where a virtual who’s who of seemingly highly qualified presidential hopefuls were so cotton picking nice to each other, careful not to step on anyone’s toes except Queen Hillary. I also seem to remember the second debate is where the non-politician (Trump) came out swinging. He attacked almost everyone on the stage and coined the phrase “Crooked Hillary”.  He did spare Dr. Ben Carson, who ended up begging someone to attack him, please?

 

We haven’t seen any of that from the Democratic candidates. They are trying to “out free” each other as if voters relegated to free stuff will surrender their votes? There are a wide range of issues that these candidates should be addressing, abortion, immigration and border security, crime, the economy, taxes, voter fraud and more.

 

Yet the pathetic “causes” of Democrats are to eliminate ICE, tear down the wall, want to decriminalize unlawful entry, as if everyone enters the US by walking over the border?

 

Do they not know, have they not heard that one cannot even board an aircraft in the United States without going through TSA security checks? International travelers entering the United States must navigate the maze of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and Customs before they get too far from the aircraft or ship. Maybe we can turn some of the ICE agents into TSA agents and it’ll make everything alright?

 

Some complain about the cost of a college education, while being on the cash in your bank account end of the high cost of college/university teaching, and then want to forgive educational loans because students don’t have gas and might end up sleeping in their cars? We have Americans who are homeless and many don’t even have their cars anymore, yet they sleep on the streets, in the woods or anywhere warm and nobody is championing their cause.

 

The scandal of Baltimore’s West side is only one symptom of a nationwide problem. Our inner cities and Indian Reservations have been neglected for decades. What is needed is for American’s taking care of American’s like the report I read today about a Maryland Hazmat company showing up with men and equipment AND removing trash and hazardous debris from West Baltimore (Happening today).

 

I don’t think ANY of the Democratic Party candidates have a clue of how to obtain results about anything that is important and life changing for Americans. They are more concerned about campaign funds and votes, without having to bring about results of any kind.

 

We are told in the Bible to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, and we don’t even like ourselves. We tend to do unto others before they can do it unto us. That is NOT what the good book says.

 

America is the land of the free, the home of the brave from sea to shining sea, yet we let others tell us that our anthem, flag, national pride, president and government are ALL racist! We are told that America has never been great and that too is a lie.

 

America needs to return to the land that fears Almighty God, praises His Holy Name and ASKS Him for guidance EVERY DAY! Until we stop strutting around thinking we’re all that and a bag of chips, we need to retrieve our heads from some unsightly hidden places.

 

The Democratic Party politics have become grossly corrupted over the past 60+ years. Fear and Intimidation have become the norm, while shutting down opposing voices and/or neutralizing messages from opponents. The Democrats of old are the party that instituted the riders of the Klu Klux Klan preventing minorities the equal rights of citizenship and voting. Today the luring appeal of free stuff is simply another way of keeping voters on the Democratic plantation.

 

Politicians are so use to lining their pockets and padding their bank accounts while touting sympathetic words while doing absolutely nothing to alleviate the pain and suffering or improving the living or working conditions of their constituents. What are the results stemming from the political office of today’s presidential candidates? Do they walk the walk or just talk the talk? American’s deserve better! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Immigration is all about Immersion

 

Ever since our nation’s founding people from all walks of life and every nation, tribe and culture have flocked to our shores. Many have been rejected or outright denied it for a variety of reasons. Others have fought hard to obtain it. Those who have made the often perilous journey and persevered while searching for the ever elusive prize – Citizenship in the United States of America have proudly proclaimed, “I’m an American Citizen”.

 

Many who read this will not understand the sacrifice someone makes when they take the plunge, leaving family, friends and all that is familiar to them to face the unknown. Whether it’s by air, by land or by sea leaving it all for what seems impossible is almost too hard to imagine.

 

All too often our perspective toward immigration and immigrants is skewed by politicians and the media and the elephant in the room is often ignored. One need only to look back at history to see that since our beginning our nation has been and is imperfect because we are a flawed people. In our quest for land and expansion we have taken simply because it was there.

 

As we began to develop our unique style of living we took advantage of age old techniques to enhance farming, technology and industry we used indentured servants and outright slavery for profit and survival. Our society has exploited the poor, disadvantaged, women and people of differing ethnic backgrounds while denying them the right of citizenship, yet we overcame those barriers to become the greatest self-governing experiment in human history.

 

So why does anyone want to come here? Is it the climate; the atmosphere or simply the fact that in a world where dictatorial leadership prevents freedom of expression, this is a place where freedom rings? For some it is a necessity, others it is an opportunity that allows them to become part of something much bigger than themselves. In America you can be anything you choose. When you work hard and follow the rules (law) a poor farm worker can become a small business owner, a corporate CEO or elected to the Congress of the United States. The sky really is the limit when you believe and place your trust in God.

 

There is a Confucius saying, “A journey begins with the first step”. When an immigrant takes that first step in faith, confident that given a chance they will be accepted and succeed, they truly feel that with God all things are possible.

 

Coming to America can be a frightening experience. One clings to native customs and traditions and family becomes the only thing one can hang on to. However it doesn’t have to take long before one becomes immersed into a normal lifestyle of America, while holding on to and passing a rich heritage to children and once someone becomes a US Citizen they are no longer an immigrant, nor are they a hyphenated-American. The greatest responsibility one takes on as a US Citizen is to pledge allegiance to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, both foreign and domestic, so help us God. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Build the Wall – Drain the Swamp – Make America Great Again

 

During the 2016 campaign season Donald Trump made a number of promises if elected. He would build the wall, drain the swamp and make America great again were among his most repeated and remembered ones. We are now 2 ½ years into the Presidency of Donald J. Trump and what we’ve seen is an active and earnest resistance toward all things Trump by the Democratic Party, Main Stream Media and for the most part by members of Congress.

 

Build the Wall

Build the wall has been met with fierce resistance from the Democratic members of Congress, calling it a waste of money to build “Trump’s Wall”. In what has become a series of assaults by waves of migrants on the border President Trump called it a crisis that needs the immediate attention of Congress to close obvious loopholes and prevent future waves of illegals from overwhelming the Department of Border Patrol agents.

 

Rather than getting to work fixing immigration laws Democrats in Congress have gone so far as to calling the crisis on the US – Mexico border as something Trump manufactured. Some members have called for the abolition of the wall, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the criminalization of Border Patrol for enforcing US Immigration Laws, while calling for the humane treatment of detainees, which result in family separations as well as exposing cells of human trafficking and smuggling of drugs and other narcotics without doing anything in their legislative powers to correct it.

 

Drain the Swamp

Drain the Swamp has brought cries from Congressional lawmakers have transferred themselves into the category of lawbreakers, clearly into the swamp. They have ignored the will of the voters who placed them into office instead choosing to champion the rights of illegal immigrants when the Constitution clearly establishes rights for US citizens, non-citizens have none.

 

In cities across America from Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle and many more mayors, county commissioners, and state governors have declared themselves as sanctuaries where illegals are protected and well fed through taxpayer funded programs previously aimed at caring for citizens. Law Enforcement is prohibited from asking their legal status or cooperating with federal ICE agents, resulting in serial killers being released to kill again on the streets. Some city administrations have declared that the President of the United States is not welcome.

 

The chaotic rise and the condoning of street gangs and domestic terrorists such as MS13 and Antifa have given them free reign to harass or intimidate and conduct acts of violence against law abiding citizens with impunity while attempting to restrict the gun rights of law abiding citizens to protect themselves.

 

Several colleges and universities have made it politically incorrect to use words like “Illegal” “Alien” “America” “American” “Man” or “Woman” as they are deemed offensive. Likewise the National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance and even the Flag of the United States have been banned as being offensive in American schools.

 

Professional athletes and sports teams, who by their name or title as representing the nation on the playing field openly mock, insult and disrespect the President, the Flag and the Nation calling it freedom of speech, I call it offensive!

 

The Swamp of political correctness and breeds hatred and anger that left unchecked become cancerous to our nation’s continued existence.

 

Make America Great Again

Make America Great Again is such a simple phrase that every single US citizen should relish and cherish it as a demonstration of national pride. Instead it has been attacked from the left as symbolic of racial dominance by those who seek to divide the people of the United States by ethnic and racial categories.

 

We have long endured the “hyphenated American” as a way of life throughout the United States.

 

Regardless of whether someone is born here, migrated here legally and worked to become a naturalized citizen, there is NO HYPHEN in AMERICAN. We are American’s first, with distinct heritages, tribal ancestry with many customs and traditions being carried down through our children and grandchildren. It’s important for them not to forget where our families have come from and to be proud of who we are today. The days of race baiting must end in America. Robert Swan Mueller III – The Mueller Report

 

In May 2017 Robert S. Mueller III was selected Special Counsel by Rod Rosenstein, Assistant Attorney General, to investigate Russian Collusion in the 2016 Presidential Election. Many people do not know even now after the investigation was completed, the report published and released to the public in redacted form that President Trump has been in fact vindicated of any collusion between Russian agents and his Campaign/Transition team.

 

Why was Robert Mueller selected for this high profile position? Was it because of his impeccable character and his reputation as a no nonsense ramrod straight litigator who saw the Constitution as something to be protected and defended since his days as a Marine Lieutenant engaged in combat during the Vietnam War? Or was it his legendary reputation as a litigator? Maybe it was because he was all about the business of the law and never accepting anything less than top notch work from his subordinates?

 

It is a given that his incredible reputation carried much weight among the members of Congress who wholeheartedly accepted and approved of his appointment so that their number one goal would be achieved to bring about the downfall of newly elected President Donald J. Trump who was sworn in on January 20, 2017.

 

What stands out to me is the contrast in the lives of these two men of similar age and privileged backgrounds. One navigated in the world of real estate and business to becoming a billionaire playboy before becoming the 45th President of the United States, while the other chose military service followed by public service in the Department of Justice becoming the 37th Director of the FBI and the longest serving director (12 years) since J. Edgar Hoover.

 

When Mueller was tapped to the Special Counsel position his mandate was clear to investigate collusion between Russian state actors/agents and members of the Trump campaign. That’s a far cry from investigating Russian Collusion in the 2016 Presidential Election. What very well should have happened was the EACH presidential candidate should have had themselves, their campaign staff and records looked at to determine was there any contact with Russian agents.

 

This would have focused on each candidate rather than just Donald Trump’s campaign. It may have led to the discovery of improprieties from a number of sources and angles. However that never happened.

 

This brings up a number of questions about the office of this Special Counsel. Who assembled the team? Robert Mueller or someone else and what were the criteria for team members? Were they non-partisan or did they have ties to a political party or any conflicts of interest with any candidate or staff member?

 

How were the teams set up, investigators and FBI agents? Who hired them? Who controlled/monitored their work? Who decided when to fire or release them? How secure was the information gathered? More importantly what was the flashpoint or document that started this entire fiasco? Did it have any type of oversight?

 

I ask these questions after viewing and reading about the latest Congressional Committee Hearing where Robert Mueller although pre-scheduled to answer specific questions about the report bearing his name, appeared absolutely clueless about the material in the report. This is uncharacteristic given Mueller’s reputation for dotting the I’s and crossing the t’s.

 

I suspect, as others have, that Mueller was in the driver’s seat of a bus with his name plastered all over it while others conducted the witch hunt under guise of investigating. This would mislead the public and the Congress in believing the Robert Mueller was actively engaged as the Special Counsel and apparently that was not true. I don’t believe this was done out of spite by Mueller. I believe he was set up as a giant Trojan horse where the public and President Trump would focus on while all the time someone else controlled what the Special Counsel’s office did. I also believe that the indictments obtained on former members of the Trump Campaign were political entrapment in an attempt to get the President.

 

What should and must happen is that Robert Mueller publicly releases his statement on the role he played as Special Counsel and if that means a public apology, so be it. I think that is what a man of his character and integrity would do because it’s the right thing to do. After all Robert Mueller is an officer and a gentleman and forever will always be a Marine. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Taking the Name of the Lord in Vain

 

 

The news cycle is spinning in giant circles because during the North Carolina rally President Donald Trump took God’s name in vain, not once but twice. So is that reason to stop supporting Trump? Is God going to strike him down with lightning? That depends.

 

We are told in Exodus 20:7 “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.”

 

No other words need be added to what God has already declared and cursing is a sin, right? It is not my place or yours to worry about what God will or will not do about sin. Jesus took care of sin on the cross at Calvary some 2,000 years ago when he died, took the keys to hell and death, rose again on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven.

 

What we need to know and understand is that God Loves Us individually and unconditionally EVEN WHEN we sin. God hates the sin, but loves the sinner. That is why he gave his only begotten son Jesus to die for our sin.

 

So tell me you without sin, which is the greater sin? Cursing, murder, adultery, covetousness, lying, stealing, gossiping, cheating, slander, or hating yourself the way God created you? How are we to judge? Do we sit on the judgement seat? Are we God? No we are not. However we are told to weigh everything against the Word of God, whether it is true or false.

 

We are told that when we sin we are to confess our sin to Almighty God asking for forgiveness with a grateful heart and he is just to forgive us of our sin. We are to turn away from it and sin no more (don’t do it again). Maybe, just maybe that applies to President Trump as well, right?

 

Many of us have children and grandchildren. We have “in-laws” and in many cases we have become outlaws in the eyes of God. When we or anyone in our family sins does that make them any less a part of the family, except by choice? When they use words we don’t approve of do we immediately kick them out on the street and say go ahead and take care of yourself because I don’t like the way you talked or the words you used? Of course not! That would be like throwing out the baby with the bath water because the water’s dirty.

 

Many have expressed their displeasure, others have written to President Trump asking him to make better word choices and maybe he will. No matter what happens it is up to Almighty God whether to use fire and brimstone or a measure of grace. Let’s face it we are all fallen sinful man. The wages of Sin is death, according to scripture. Death is what we deserve. Yet God often chooses a measure of His Grace which is sufficient for anything that life throws our way.

 

I am reminded that God uses people to do his will. All he requires is availability and obedience, nothing more and nothing less. God has a plan and purpose for everyone, even for Donald J. Trump with all of his faults. God even has a plan for you? – I am the Real Truckmaster!

ALLEGED CORRUPTION IN CONGRESS

 

Like many others I have often thought that if there were proof of corruption of members of the House or Senate there should be an immediate investigation into the matter and all parties involved should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I still think that way.

 

When I saw this article and began reading I saw many recognizable names and wondered what has kept this out of the news and why are they not in jail? Then I went back and read the date of the article, less than 1 month after President Trump’s inauguration. If true there is lots of meat to chew on and I don’t think the President would waste any effort unless he was sure of the validity of this article. I could be fake news right? In any case the Liberal Left Democrats and their lackey’s in the MSM have been constantly attacking President Trump for almost 3 years now and there have been a number of cabinet changes that have taken place including the Attorney General Jeff Sessions. His replacement Bill Barr has been rather busy doing what an Attorney General is supposed to be doing, straightening out some of the crooked lines that have developed within the DOJ, entertaining Congressional Committees and conferring with the President of the United States.

 

The allegations are that George Soros through his foundation and non-profits have bought a number of members of both the House and Senate for a petty sum, unless he “donated” to their election/re-election campaigns. The article does not give specifics, dates, payment amounts or anything critical that could be confirmed, only denied at this point. Should these allegations be found to have merit, there will be a lot of head rolling with 3 former Senators or Representatives and 2 former Governors and 1 Deceased Senator – leaving 51 possible impeachments (preventing them from serving elected office).

Remember that under the Rule of Law everyone is assumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law before a jury of their peers.
