The Contempt in Congress

The Contempt in Congress

We are told in the bible that followers of Christ will be known by their fruit (works) and that a tree produces either good fruit or bad fruit. The same can be said of any profession, corporation or place of employment and even in the home.

Aretha Franklin sang, “R-E-S-P-E-C-T” and we know that respect when taught in the home sets the stage for the real world of life. Children are to be raised with the biblical ground rules of Loving God; Honoring your parents, the elderly and those in authority; doing unto others as you would have them do unto you (do no harm); being satisfied with what you have; not wanting the things of others; and treating each life as if it is important (because God created it). Those children who learn these basic concepts at home tend to be better adults, more productive at work and able to make better choices in life.

Have you ever gone into a store or business that had a 5 gallon glass jar full of marbles? There was a sign that asked you to guess how many marbles? Maybe the winner would receive a monetary prize or a new bike? Have you ever written down and submitted your best guest estimate? Have you ever won?

When it comes to the U. S. Congress the average American thinks of them as that jar of marbles. Unless you have been a part of the goings on in Congress or really studied U. S. History the shroud of secrecy shields the inner workings and the individuals who have been elected to political office, their personal staff and their daily routines are a mystery. We know that according to the U. S. Constitution there are 100 members of the U. S. Senate and 435 members of the U. S. House of Representatives. That gives us a total of 535 “marbles” in our congressional jar.

We know that they are members of three main political parties: Democrats, Independents and Republicans. In this politically correct climate why don’t we refer to them as Democratic-Americans, Independent-Americans and Republican-Americans? Maybe it’s because it would sound stupid?

One may only to go online at www.senate.gov to access the U. S. Constitution to read Article 1 for the criteria of becoming a member of Congress.

The criteria for the U. S. Senate, is 30 years of age and a citizen for 9 years and an inhabitant of the state from which chosen. Senators are elected for six years and are divided into three classes. The first class vacates the second year, the second class expires the fourth year and the third class expires the sixth year. The Vice President of the United States is the President of the Senate. The Senate shall choose their officers and also a President pro tempore, in the absence of the Vice President or when he shall exercise the office of President of the United States. The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments. Then the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside.

The criteria of becoming a member of the U. S. House of Representatives, 25 years of age, a citizen for 7 years and an inhabitant of the state from which chosen. Representatives are elected for 4 years. Representatives are to direct taxes (in the original Constitutional document). Their members are chosen by state based upon population. They are to choose their Speaker and other officers. The House has the sole power of Impeachment.

The Senate and the House shall judge the elections, returns and qualifications of its own members and a majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do business. They each may determine the rules of its proceedings and to punish its members for disorderly behavior and with two thirds concurrence expel a member.

The U. S. Congress has many facets of the inner workings that are not made public, such as having many as 512 Congressional Caucuses, which equate to separate voting blocs each with a separate agenda. Of these Caucuses I have written several articles about the Congressional Black Caucus now with 55 members in the 116th Congress. The CBC prides itself on a “black only” membership and has as a number one priority the rooting out racism within the Trump administration and government while ignoring obvious racism in the Congressional Black Caucus. They have opposed Republican Presidents since Richard Nixon refused to recognize them as a legitimate Caucus.

The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) was established in 1971 by 13 founding members. The founding members include:

Rep. Shirley A. Chisholm (D-N.Y.)

Rep. William L. Clay, Sr. (D-Mo.)

Rep. George W. Collins (D-Ill.)

Rep. John Conyers, Jr. (D-Mich.)

Rep. Ronald V. Dellums (D-Calif.)

Rep. Charles C. Diggs, Jr. (D-Mich.)

Rep. Augustus F. Hawkins (D-Calif.)

Rep. Ralph H. Metcalfe (D-Ill.)

Rep. Parren J. Mitchell (D-Md.)

Rep. Robert N.C. Nix, Sr. (D-Pa.)

Rep. Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.)

Rep. Louis Stokes (D-Ohio)

Del. Walter E. Fauntroy (D-D.C.)

The Congressional Black Caucus currently has two members of the U. S. Senate, one of whom is of Indian descent, Senator Kamala Harris’s parents are from India, yet by her skin color she identifies as black (African-American) and it would appear that the CBC has already broken it’s longstanding rule as a “Blacks Only Club”.

Of the U. S. Congress that are some interesting items to consider, out of 535 members, there are verifiably 50 current members who are either Socialists, Communist and another 50 who have leanings toward Islam and their allegiance is not to the U. S. Constitution.  Of these there are 16 members of the Congressional Black Caucus who appear in author and historian Trevor Loudon’s book Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists And Progressives In The US Congress.

I have taken from Trevor Loudon’s listing of these 50 Communists and Socialists and utilizing my own research of the Congressional Black Caucus provided Caucuses, Committees, Taskforces and Democratic Party Working Groups.

You may be surprised (as I was) to see many of the names and faces prominent on Main Stream Media outlets and realize the underlying motives and agenda to undercut President Trump and his administration with completely manufactured resistance. Simply connect the dots with the Democratic Party, the Congressional Black Caucus, Communist Party, Democratic Socialists of America and other nefarious SWAMP entities pushing open border agendas and illegal immigrant voting “rights”.

2019 List of Socialists and Communists in Congress Trevor Loudon 2-4-2019

http://noisyroom.net/blog/

Trevor Loudon had been asked to compile a list of socialists and communists in Congress. A friend of his was challenged to name “even two socialists in Congress.” Altogether, if you add in Islamist connections he places about 100 members of the House of Representatives would struggle to pass a low-level background security check..but guess what? There are no security checks in Congress.

Here’s Trevor Loudon’s list of 50 of the most obvious socialists in the House, with links to my website https://keywiki.org/Main_Page for the backup evidence. Apologies to the many I’ve omitted. Please email me at trevor.newzeal@gmail.com if you’d like to be included in future lists.

As a side note former President Barack Obama was a proud member of the CBC as a U. S. Senator and alumni continued to be a staunch supporter of the CBC as president, and his maternal grandparents were solidly connected card carrying members of the Communist Party from Washington state and in Hawaii during the time of his birth.

Alumni and former Rep. Keith Ellison was an active and vocal member of the CBC and the Democratic Party before being elected as Minnesota’s Attorney General in the 2018 mid-term elections.

Much of my writings about the Congressional Black Caucus may seem redundant or repetitive in nature, but I assure you that there is a direct correlation between the racial violence, rioting and demonstrations by leftist and Democratic causes, the resistance within the U. S. Congress and the Congressional Black Caucus. This connection has either gone unseen or kept under the cover of secrecy from the American people.

I will continue to investigate until such time as competent Congressional leadership or an internal IG investigation is launched to bring to accountability those members of the U. S. Congress who do not take their oath of office and allegiance to the United States of America seriously.

The State of the Union is Strong

SOTU 2019 President Trump

2-5-2019

The State of the Union is Strong

A partial quote by President Trump tonight as he prepared to conclude his second State of The Union address at the nation’s capital, “The State of the Union is Strong”, declaring to the nation that much good and prosperity have gripped the nation over the past 2 years. While most Democrats and many Republican members of Congress chose to sit in disagreement, there was a point made about more women were working today, and that there were many more women in Congress than ever before, that brought even the staunch hard core Never Trumpers to their feet as they clapped their hearts out in support (of that one portion of the SOTU).

For those who know me and for those who don’t I’ve been studying the U.S. Congress trying to figure out how elected members can deny every positive thing accomplished by President Trump in his first 2 years in office. From the hostages coming home from North Korea to the prospect of US forces coming home from the endless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, it would seem that the liberals would like to just keep things as they have been for a very long time.

From what I saw tonight The State of Resistance is weak, and as people leapt to their feet in applause, the TRDs (Trump Resistance Democrats) felt justified by making a statement against support of the things Americans have been seeking. The statement they made was a pitiful one at best.

I’ve never heard a President praise so many others and encourage Americans to stand strong, not as Democrats or Republicans but as Americans as we move into the next phase of development, using words like “WE” and “OUR” and did not even once use the word “I”. He ended with God Bless You and May God Bless the United States. In my humble opinion it was a great speech, sought a united front throughout the nation and in the U. S. Congress! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Looking Through a Skewed Lens

2-4-2019

Looking Through a Skewed Lens

I began watching “Red Tails” on cable recently and couldn’t help but relate what was happening on screen with the happenings of today. The young Captain had gone into the Officers Club and was told to leave because of his race. At first he complied, but stopped short when he decided enough is enough. He went back inside and began fighting with another officer. It quickly turned into a brawl. The next scene was him lying in a cell and being released to his commanding officer a Colonel.

The Colonel asked him what he was trying to do and said the Captain reminded him of a young kid on the street with his arm bare and his hand clenched and knotted up in a fist. The Colonel told him that if you go around looking at the world through a skewed lens your results will be skewed too (paraphrased).

That struck a chord with me. That’s exactly how racial division and political correctness affect the nation today. There are those on the liberal left, those in the Democratic Party and even those in the Republican Party who feel that their politics trump opposing views.

It has gotten so bad that those who are affected by this skewed liberal left political view of America have gone past the point of calling evil good and good evil. They attack without merit. In fact if they “perceive” that something or someone is calling them out in dissent they incite violence, mayhem and even physical harm or death. So arrogant are they that openly calling for the death of a sitting president (unheard of before) have become a common theme among career and fledgling freshmen members of Congress.

Traditionally it has been a requirement for select government officials and members of Congress to swear an oath of allegiance to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL ENEMIES both foreign and domestic. It maybe because they don’t realize that ALL ENEMIES = Foreign Nations, Tribes and Religious Factions who are hostile toward the United States of America. It may also be possible that ALL ENEMIES = Domestic, home grown, migrated and even brain washed American citizens who are hostile toward the United States of America.

Anyone who has served in the Armed Forces of the United States knows perfectly well that protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States against ALL ENEMIES = Foreign and Domestic. That includes those acting aggressively toward our nation’s leader, our military or against citizens of the United States of America by hostile state actors. They have taken “the oath” very seriously and there is no expiration date!

What we are seeing is unconscionable for Members of Congress in their quest to retain power and privilege to rise up as hostile state actors against the nation, the President and even We The People of the United States. To openly and publicly transmit, encourage and conduct mayhem that is anti-American in nature is tantamount to Treason or Subversion.

The number one priority of the government is the safety and security of its citizens. The one thing that lifetime politicians have forgotten is that the people are the deciding factor for America. The government and its representatives work for the people, not the other way around.

What we are seeing today are real life Swamp Creatures in a real death roll as they lose the power they have accumulated over time since they first swore the oath and became publicly elected servants of the people.

It may be that the corruption that has taken hold of the United States Congress has become common place so long that it is seen as “just the way Washington politics works” and we are expected to get used to it. It behooves every member of Congress, regardless of political party or other clannish affiliation (Caucuses) to examine themselves and their own “agenda” or purpose. Does it represent the people who voted to send them to Congress? Or has making it into Congress simply a feather in their own cap for financial or political gain?

Back to the Colonel in “Red Tails” who told the Captain he had nothing against him but had the highest expectations for him. It is the same with members of Congress, you were sent to “The Hill” with the highest expectations of the American people. You were sent to look out and legislate for OUR interests and if you are unable or unwilling to legislate to keep our families safe, our nation secure and our military prepared for war, it is time you resigned!

There is no “career” in the Legislative Branch; it is as a public servant that you have been trusted to serve in our behalf. Nobody is above the law. When the lawmaker becomes the lawbreaker it is time for justice to be served! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Fractured DNC the CBC and the Democratic Party

1-30-2019

The Fractured DNC the CBC and the Democratic Party

Has anybody besides me thought about the goings on in Congress and inside the Democratic Party? Even before the 2016 elections there has been an underground attempt by foreign state actors to undermine the Democratic Party and bring down the US government through subversion.

Remember what happened when President Nixon authorized “Watergate” in the early 1970s? A team broke into the Democratic Party Headquarters to gain information and documents. They were caught, arrested, then tried, convicted and sentenced to prison. President Nixon resigned and because Vice President Agnew had resigned prior to that, Speaker of the House Gerald Ford became President.

That is the scenario that the Democrats are attempting to do with President Trump. They want to get him and Vice President Pence out of the way so that the Speaker of the House (Nancy Pelosi) can become president. Let that sink in.

The problems with the DNC are inherent and internal. Now fast forward to the Democratic Obama administration where the Congressional Black Caucus (blacks only) with key membership in the upper echelons of the Democratic Party (Keith Ellison). The entire CBC membership has become emboldened to the point of swaying the direction and purpose of the DNC to the far, far left.

Then Debbie Wasserman-Schultz the DNC chair brings in an Internet Technology team of computer “professionals” who we find out after the fact foreign state actors representing Iran and other foreign governments. They have access to ALL the information on the DNC servers, full access to government computer systems and go undetected for quite some time before being discovered using unauthorized access to House computers. So what happens to them? They perform an exfiltration with their families, finances and all of that stolen data.

Then here comes the election and the new Republican Trump administration. What to do? What to do? Oh yeah the phony “Russian Collusion” narrative surfaces, using fake documents paid for by Hillary Clinton’s Clinton Foundation and orchestrated into play by Obama Administration hold overs of the “Deep State”. So adamant are they to deflect their own incompetence and treasonous actions that the “Mueller Investigation” must be played out until they can pin something on President Trump and deflect the corruption and far worse from DNC officials and Democratic Party members in Congress. That is why it was so important for Representative Nancy Pelosi to once again gain the House leadership position.

Should this farce on the American people become successful she would go down in history as the first woman President of the United States. Her own power quest and her self-importance will be her undoing.

Not only has lady justice been blind, but she has been shackled and handcuffed by upper levels of law enforcement and upper leadership within the Department of Justice. It is time for the Trump Administration’s Attorney General become actively involved in rooting out the responsible parties where ever they may be found and bring them to justice.

There has been a concerted effort to destroy evidence, shred emails (as if that solves the problem) and cover the tracks of those whose wrong doing harms the national security of the nation. Placing the blame on Russia, Wikileaks and any other entity or person insures a clean get away by the actual perpetrators. Focus on the private actors and follow the money. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Politics a Game of Compromise

1-28-2019

Politics a Game of Compromise

Here we are just 22 months before the presidential election of 2020 where a host of presidential hopefuls have thrown their hats in the ring as prospective candidates and guess what the fault lies entirely at the feet of President Donald J. Trump. Can you believe it?

It’s true, the 2016 presidential campaign forever changed the course of politics in America. While all the GOP candidates jockeyed into position as the most favorable the unthinkable happened. The most unlikely and unlikable non-political candidate emerged in a cross-over bid for the presidency.

Successful businessman and television star of “The Apprentice” Donald J. Trump came down the spiral staircase at Trump Tower and announced to the world his candidacy for the GOP nomination. It was virtually unheard of in modern day politics. Not since Abraham Lincoln a self-taught backwoods lawyer announced his run for President of the United States. One thing I’m certain of is that Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton smiled.

The GOP was stunned, shocked and in total disbelief. They went through the stages of grief all in a few short days while trying to conjure up a way to stop this madness. Everyone knew that Trump had a snowballs chance in Hades of becoming president, no less securing the nomination. After all there were 16 – 18 GOP candidates who were smooth politicians with absolute name recognition who were better qualified to be president.

On the DNC side of the political coin were basically two candidates and HDRC was a shoe in to procure the nomination and become the history making first woman president. It would make two historical statements in one when William J. Clinton became the “First Man” (FMOTUS) and what statements they would make in the White House (again). Because they knew Trump in social circles and as a DNC contributor of several Democratic candidates I’ll bet the Clintons were ROTFL.

It’s a well-known fact that many politicians are litigators who are schooled in the “Art of the Compromise”. They take a hypothetical oath to defend their client and truth is an obstacle to be overcome any way possible. I’m sure there are thousands of books on dealing with the rule of law and many politicians begin at the county attorney or at a state’s attorney general level before progressing to governor, representative or senator and leap frogging into the office of the presidency. That’s a path that many modern day politicians choose. A politician must see all possible legal outcomes and choose what is best for their client, even if the client is in fact guilty. Many a hardened criminal has been turned loose when defended by a seasoned and experienced attorney. Politicians and those who are attorneys cannot be surprised by the unexpected and just being good at checkers doesn’t count.

A strategist must look at all the angles, weigh all the possibilities and decide if the risk of winning outweighs the risks of losing. If the odds are not in his favor he doesn’t make the move. This is critical in the world of business. Taking risks is an occupational hazard and failure is not an option.

During the 2016 campaign cycle there were two possible outcomes for Donald J. Trump. He would be shut down rather quickly because he was NOT a politician. The second option was unthinkable to many, but he could win. Anyone who truly knows Trump would know that he doesn’t bet on losing. Trump has tasted defeat many times in business and in his marriages but learned not to make a move unless it’s to win.

There’s a side to Donald Trump that one does not know about unless you are close. Trump loves his family and his children are examples of his parenting skills.

Trump loves his country and knows that there are better days ahead for the nation, but the wrong leadership style hinders it.

Trump loves God and has been a faithfully religious person his entire life, much like many Americans. It is this love for God that brought him into the campaign and propelled him into the White House. American’s find it hard to believe and many “Christians” do not accept Trump as one of their own. It may be because these are “church playing Christians” who are not comfortable in their own relationship with God.

Trump’s relationship with God began long before he became a presidential candidate. In fact it is because of his relationship that God chose him for such a time as this. Trump had been considering the presidency and what he would do as early as the mid-1980s, but didn’t feel that the time was right until the Spirit of God began prompting him as early as 2012-2013 time period. What Trump did was reach out to someone he knew was spiritually grounded in the Word of God and sought prayerful advice.

Trump knows about compromise as one can attest to by reading his book, “The Art of the Deal”. What he also knows is that one does not compromise or cut corners through shoddy workmanship or inferior materials. His one guiding principle is a biblical principle of honoring your family name. Do your very best by placing your mark of approval on it. It’s like buying a pair of jeans and seeing a slip in the pocket “inspected by #12). You know someone has quality control checked this product and found it passed the inspection. How best to honor the Trump name but to put it on what you build “Trump Tower” is a prime example. Yet people think it is just bragging or tooting one’s own horn. It is simply his way of saying I built this and it’s good because it’s by Trump.

While politics is a world of compromise it takes an outsider to straddle the swamp of compromise and begin to pull the plug so it will drain. That is a campaign promise many feel has come back to haunt him, but I say different, it is precisely why he was elected. Trump is by no means perfect, but by submitting himself to the Spirit of God AND being obedient to God’s plan for his life all things are possible with God.

We are told to be diligent and to use Godly discernment in all that we do, hear and see to insure it lines up with God’s Word. If it does not we are to run away and have nothing to do with it. As Christians there can be no compromise with the worldly things that are contrary to God’s Word.

Love him or hate him one must look at his actions as selfish and self-centered and for personal gain or the loving selfless acts for America and for the people who make it what it is today. I see the level and nature of attacks are demonic and stem from across the political spectrum by those claiming to be doing the will of God. I don’t doubt their claim. If he has called Trump to the presidency, God does not fight against himself and those that say different have been deceived by the prince of darkness. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Examining Planned Parenthood Federation of America

1-26-2019

Examining Planned Parenthood Federation of America

From what I gathered in just an hour or so of doing a Google search on Planned Parenthood I am sickened by the fact that not only does the US government contribute over $1B annually to fund this organization, and to allow it tax exemption the same as a church or other non-profits.

The purpose of this article is not to cast doubt on Planned Parenthood but to illuminate what appears to be the tip of the iceberg. What we see above the waterline is a mere portion of what amounts to a London based worldwide organization that provides population control and management via the means of abortion. If Planned Parenthood were any other organization it would qualify under organized crime and conspiracy to commit murder in accordance to the Rule of Law under the US Constitution.

What is even more sickening than organized legal death facilities scattered across the United States and around the globe, is the fact that women, governors, legislators, nurses and doctors are gleeful and giddy over the prospect of the genocide their own offspring.

Psalm 139:14 English Standard Version (ESV)

14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.

Who is man that he should destroy that which God has created in the womb designed to nourish and protect a precious human life. Wow unto those who engage in this inhumane practice.

Now that I’ve said my piece, here are statistics on abortions 2000 – 2016, followed by the 103 year history of Planned Parenthood in their own words.

US Abortion Statistics: An Honest Analysis – Spencer P. Morrison April 17, 2018

That’s why I wrote this article.

I’ve collected (and organized) some of the most basic statistics on abortion, and also answered some of the most common statistical questions, and corrected some common misconceptions—we can’t have a debate unless we get our facts straight.

First-thing’s-first: the following table records the number of abortions per year in the US, how many of which were “first time” abortions, and also the cumulative number of abortions since 1970.

Also, if you’re interested in exploring the data yourself, you can download the abortion statistics as an excel file—it’s much more detailed than what you see below, which I parsed for brevity and clarity.

103 Years the History of Planned Parenthood

In 1916, Planned Parenthood was founded on the idea that women should have the information and care they need to live strong, healthy lives and fulfill their dreams. Today, Planned Parenthood affiliates operate more than 600 health centers across the United States, and Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading provider and advocate of high-quality, affordable health care for women, men, and young people. Planned Parenthood is also the nation’s largest provider of sex education. How did we get where we are today? Learn more about our 100-year history.

The Beginning
Planned Parenthood traces its roots back to nurse, educator and founder Margaret Sanger — whose activism changed the world. Sanger had the revolutionary idea that women should control their own bodies — and thus their own destinies. Imagine that!

Sanger grew up in an Irish family of 11 children in Corning, New York. Her mother, in fragile health from many pregnancies, including 7 miscarriages, died at age 50 of tuberculosis. Her mother’s story — along with her work as a nurse on the Lower East Side of New York — inspired Sanger to travel to Europe and study birth control methods at a time when educating people about birth control was illegal in the United States.

On October 16, 1916, Sanger — together with her sister Ethel Byrne and activist Fania Mindell — opened the country’s first birth control clinic in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Women lined up down the block to get birth control information and advice from Sanger, Byrne, and Mindell.

Nine days later, police raided the clinic and shut it down. All 3 women were charged with crimes related to sharing birth control information. Sanger refused to pay the fine and spent 30 days in jail, where she educated other inmates about birth control.

Although the Brownsville clinic was shut down, Sanger went on to travel the country to share her vision — and the Planned Parenthood movement began.

A Movement Begins

In 1923, Sanger opened the Birth Control Clinical Research Bureau in Manhattan to provide birth control devices to women and to collect statistics about the safety and long-term effectiveness of birth control. That same year, Sanger incorporated the American Birth Control League, an ambitious new organization that examined the global impact of population growth, disarmament, and famine. The two organizations eventually merged to become Planned Parenthood® Federation of America, Inc. (PPFA®).

The continued work of Sanger and efforts from other birth control proponents led to a 1936 court ruling that birth control devices and information would no longer be classified as obscene, and could be legally distributed in New York, Connecticut, and Vermont. While it took another 30 years for these rights to be extended to married couples (but just married couples) throughout the rest of the country, it was an historic step toward making birth control available to everyone.

The Development of the Pill

In 1948, Planned Parenthood awarded a small grant to biologists Gregory Pincus, John Rock, and M.C. Chang to conduct research into a birth control pill.

Katharine Dexter McCormick, a leader in the suffrage movement and the League of Women Voters, was head of the research process and its primary funder.

In 1956, the first large-scale human trial of the birth control pill was carried out in Puerto Rico. The step was critical to the pill’s development at the time, but the testing conducted on Puerto Rican women was done without informed consent — now considered unethical, and in some cases, illegal. Puerto Rican women, unaware they were participating in an experimental clinical trial with hormone levels 20 times higher than birth control pills on the market today resulted in harmful side effects, such as dizziness, cramps, and vomiting.

As time went on, the pill was refined to become the safe and effective birth control method used by millions of women today. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the sale of pills for contraception on May 9, 1960. Within 5 years, 1 out of every 4 married women in the U.S. under the age of 45 had used the pill.
While stateside acceptance of Sanger’s vision was slow, global progress was swift. In Bombay, the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) was founded at the 3rd International Conference on Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger served as its president from 1952-1959. Today, Planned Parenthood Federation of America is the U.S. Member Association to IPPF [International Planned Parenthood Foundation].

A New Era for Women

The pill soon changed the lives of women and families across the U.S. and around the world. Finally there was an easy, effective, and reversible way to prevent pregnancy. But the pill still wasn’t available nationwide. Some states banned all forms of contraception.

In 1965, in the landmark case Griswold v. Connecticut, the Supreme Court ruled that states couldn’t deny the sale of contraception to married couples. That led 10 states to legalize birth control.

Seven years later, in 1972, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a Massachusetts statute that banned the distribution of contraceptives to unmarried people in Eisenstadt v. Baird. So by the early 70s anyone — single or married — was allowed to get birth control from their doctor.

In 1970, Title X of the Public Health Services Act became law. It established public funding for family planning and sex education programs in the U.S. That meant Planned Parenthood and other reproductive health organizations were able to provide birth control and sex education services for more people, especially in low-income communities. To this day, Title X funding is critical to accessing sexual and reproductive health care.

By the early 1970s, the role of women in public life was starting to change, and a movement for safe and legal abortion emerged. State after state changed their laws to allow abortion in certain cases. After New York legalized abortion in 1970, a Planned Parenthood health center in Syracuse, NY was the first Planned Parenthood health center to offer abortion services.

In 1973, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of abortion rights in the landmark case Roe vs. Wade, citing the right to privacy. Roe vs. Wade guaranteed the right to safe and legal abortion within the first 3 months of pregnancy in all 50 states. Roe vs. Wade remains the law today.

A short-lived but crucial era of abortion rights expansion followed. Laws requiring spousal consent for abortion and strict parental consent rules for minors seeking abortion were soon struck down in the courts, removing harmful obstacles to abortion.

However, in 1976, the Hyde Amendment made it illegal for federal public funding to pay for abortion services except in a few circumstances, such as cases of rape, incest, or a life-endangering pregnancy. So even while abortion remained legal, it was becoming out of reach for low-income people in need of financial assistance, or for those who receive health care through Medicaid or Medicare.

Through legal victories and setbacks, Planned Parenthood continued to grow into its role as a trusted sexual and reproductive health care provider and educator, establishing affiliates in communities across the country, and becoming a leading advocate in the fight for reproductive rights.

Victories and Violence

The expansion of abortion rights in the 1970s resulted in fierce backlash from opponents of safe and legal abortion in the 1980s and 90s, with tragic consequences.

Extremists staged campaigns of patient intimidation, and committed acts of violence — including murder — against abortion providers, as well as bombings and arsons at health centers.

Also, opponents of safe and legal abortion began gaining strong political influence. The Reagan and George H.W. Bush presidencies resulted in significant setbacks to the reproductive rights movement. In 1992, the Supreme Court upheld the constitutional right to an abortion, but allowed states to put their own regulations about abortion into place. Planned Parenthood v. Casey allowed states to put limits on abortion — such as mandatory waiting periods of more than 24 hours — that made it harder for patients to access abortion care.

During this time, laws were passed that restricted federal funds from health care providers and organizations who discussed abortion with their patients — including the Title X “gag” rule and the Mexico City Policy, or “global gag rule.” In 1993, the Clinton administration reversed these rules — but it was not the last time the world would suffer from the global gag rule.

But throughout these difficult times, Planned Parenthood remained steadfast in its commitment to patients and its vision of a world without barriers to sexual and reproductive health care.

In 1987, Planned Parenthood began offering free or low-cost HIV testing in communities around the country. In 1989, millions marched in Washington in support of reproductive rights. That same year, Planned Parenthood Federation of America president Faye Wattleton founded the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, a 501c4 organization, to engage in public education campaigns, grassroots organizing, and legislative and electoral activity.

Throughout the 1990s, Planned Parenthood and other reproductive health experts successfully advocated for  FDA approval of new, effective methods of birth control — including the birth control shot, the ring, the patch, and the implant. In 1999, the FDA approved Plan B emergency contraception, and Planned Parenthood began work to make emergency contraception widely available at its health centers and  educate the public about emergency contraception, also known as the “morning-after pill.”
In 1996, Planned Parenthood launched www.plannedparenthood.org, which made expert medical and sexual health information easily  accessible for everyone. Today, 76 million people reach Planned Parenthood online every year.

A New Millennium, a Second Century

Scientific advances in sexual and reproductive health soared as the 90s closed, and the 21st century began with the promise of expanded birth control and abortion options.

In 2000, the FDA approved mifepristone, known as medication abortion or the abortion pill, after several years of delays due to political opposition. Planned Parenthood health centers were then able to offer another safe and effective option to patients seeking abortion.

In 2005, the first Planned Parenthood affiliate began providing hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for transgender patients. In 2006, the HPV vaccine was approved, and Planned Parenthood health centers began providing this lifesaving cancer prevention method at health centers across the country. The same year, Plan B emergency contraception became available for purchase without a prescription for women ages 18+. (In 2013, Plan B and similar brands became available over-the-counter for people of all ages.)

But these advancements were tempered by a political climate increasingly hostile to reproductive health care. The George W. Bush administration reinstated the global gag rule, galvanized opponents of safe and legal abortion by passing a ban on a rarely used later-stage abortion procedure, and worked to establish a new legal status for frozen embryos. Funding for “abstinence-only” sexuality education increased, leaving students across the country without medically accurate sexual health information.

In 2009, The Obama administration overturned the global gag rule and reaffirmed America’s commitment to sexual and reproductive health at home and abroad. In 2010, the Affordable Care Act was passed. It expanded access to health insurance, allowing more people to get the health care they needed. The law includes a provision that requires insurance plans to cover birth control and preventive care services, like cancer screenings and STD testing. Planned Parenthood has worked to educate 300,000 people about the new health insurance law, helping them get coverage.

After years of state by state restrictions on abortion, in 2016 the Supreme Court ruled that states could not create rules that placed an “undue burden” on people seeking abortion, in the Whole Woman’s Health vs. Hellerstedt case — a victory for those in favor of safe and legal abortion. In response, Planned Parenthood vowed to redouble its efforts to fight abortion restrictions across the country.

2016 also marked 100 years since Margaret Sanger, Ethel Byrne, and Fania Mindell opened the first clinic in Brooklyn.

Planned Parenthood continues to reach millions of people today.

God’s decree “Thou Shalt Not Kill” proclaims that murder is a sin in the eyes of God. The fact that the United States has made abortion legal does not negate what God has declared.

Hollyweird Liberals Break Their Silence

1-26-2019

Hollyweird Liberals Break Their Silence

Funny how that works isn’t it? Alyssa Milano mixes up her scripts (possibly medication, not writers) as she declares the red MAGA hats worn by many Trump supporters have now become the new KKK. I’m sorry but that was too funny to pass up, especially after she tweeted she will not apologize for saying it. If I was her I might realize that an apology will not come close to making a ridiculous statement like that.

You have to picture a sea of red MAGA hats in mass marching down the street all in unison and striking fear into the hearts of all they pass by as they have their hats pulled down over their faces so nobody can recognize them. Ha Ha.

That is what the Black Lives Matters and the ANTIFA thugs do. They dress in dark clothing, cover their faces and carry their childish flag as they turn over trashcans, bash cars and look for old people to attack to make their point. Even those ISIS wanna bees in the US do the same thing. That’s the way of gangland style intimidation.

Now back to the Covington Catholic High School kids. Those pimple popping HIGH SCHOOL KIDS wearing red MAGA hats at a March for Life Rally are confronted by an Indian wanna be super hero of the Vietnam War and HE was fearful that someone would pop a zit and his life is in danger. Give me a break and let that soak in……

Next Mr. Hollywood Robert Redford quite the talented actor and a superstar in his own right has to tell voters to vote against Trump in 2020. (At this point there’s no formal announcement that the President is going to seek reelection.) But saying that Trump doesn’t care and some other not so nice things is just a reminder for Mr. Redford to stick to his day job. He has made some really good movies over his career and he’s also made some not so good ones too, like the recent movie (I can’t remember the name of it) where he and actress Jane somebody played the parts of presidential first family up to and during WWII. Gee I wish I could remember because it was partially filmed here in Colorado and I missed the part to go to the set and wave my protest flag at them……. I guess that’s on me.

I normally tell folks to ignore these Hollyweird Liberal types because they’re much better at reading a script than they are at protesting politics. I have never seen any of Alyssa Milano’s work so I can’t critique any of it. However I have been a fan of Robert Redford for quite some time. I simply tune out his liberal lingo and ignore his infrequent rantings. But I suspect that I’ll add his name to the list of the Hollywood hopeless that I will cease to watch. My list is so long but suffice it to say that from Barbara Streisand to Cher and Robert (what’s his name that starred with that funny guy in that cop movie) and can’t forget the fake president on SNL, all the way up to Alyssa and Bobby Redford they are all now “on the list”. So I’ll see if I can purchase a complete set of “The Apprentice”, a bucket of popcorn and sit in front of the fireplace and wait for it……….YOU’RE FIRED!

Do I seem irritated, I am and I’m trying to be nice about it! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

You Really Don’t Know

1-26-2019

You Really Don’t Know

It pains me to read or hear some of the comments from family and friends that are based upon misinformation and a total misrepresentation by national media. They know that a first impression is usually a lasting impression. It’s also very hard to re-image someone after they have been smeared in the tabloids that pass themselves off as main stream newspapers and magazines.

Remember the story of the high school math teacher who wrote a series of problems on the board? She began by writing the first problem with an incorrect answer, and went on to write 9 more problems correctly. The students began to giggle and laugh. Yet she kept on writing.

She then turned to the students and gave them about lesson in life. She told them that she intentionally wrote the wrong answer to get their response. She said life is like that. You can do a thousand things correctly or outstandingly, but do something wrong and that’s what people will say about you. Not the thousand, but the one wrong.

So think about that the next time you make some off the cuff disparaging remark about someone because as Paul Harvey (former news commentator) would say you don’t know “the rest of the story”.

I’ve heard and read stories of a man who sent a private corporate jet to assist moving stranded soldiers in order to get them home. He had no divested interest and was not paid or reimbursed for his good will. He did it simply because there was a need that he could fill.

There is another story of a man finding out that a worker helped out another person in need, but was unable to make his house payment. This man made that house payment without expecting or receiving anything in return.

This man saw the condition of a nation deteriorating from within and being willing to step forward he pledged to do something about it. He was a wealthy and powerful man in his own right. He did not need the money, nor the prestige or power. He didn’t even need the exposure or the “big boy toys” that came with the job. He saw a need that he could fill and pledged to fix what was wrong in the country.

What about a man who paid for an extravagant wedding and reception for one of his workers simply because he could? He wanted to pay it forward. What he got in return some years later was stabbed in the back (figuratively speaking) by that worker who sold herself out for a book deal after being let go from her job or position of trust.

Then there were some high school athletes on an overseas goodwill exhibition tour representing the United States. They were caught shoplifting sunglasses from multiple vendors and detained by local authorities. This could have led to them being prosecuted and imprisoned in a foreign land creating an international incident were it not for a man with the power to do something, intervened obtaining their release and flew them back home to their families and their school. The public apology by those athletes was staged and they later claimed they were forced to apologize.

By now you should know the man I’m referring to is President Donald J. Trump. I’m sure there are many other motivational stories that highlight the determination and compassion that compel this man to take on the challenges of leading a nation and become a driving force on the world stage. You’ve seen it with your own eyes, heard it with your own ears unless you relegated yourself to what is pushed by main stream media outlets and online.

What I have seen is a President who reached out to various world leaders and world powers to set the stage by declaring that the United States is no longer the world’s ATM, nor its international police force. The declarations made highlight the fact that fair trade or no trade with the United States. The lopsided “deals” made by previous administrations which do not fairly favor the United States were terminated and/or re-negotiated.

On the home front many of the unfair and unnecessary rules and regulations that stifled the US economy have been repealed or eliminated, while others continue to be rolled back. These changes in the culture of America aid big business and benefit the American workers. Many industries have returned and factories have been fired up to produce American products to be sold here and abroad.

The lawlessness and chaos across America is being dealt with, while opioid, drugs and immigration are paramount to restoring law and order. Sanctuary cities and states have hurt the economy, made American’s less safe, and have brought unsavory conditions to the streets of American cities.

Rather than dealing with the issues that divide our nation or make it less safe for our families our politicians have become bogged down over petty party politics. Instead of being on the leading edge by overhauling critical immigration legislation, legislators have simply allowed themselves to be manipulated by various factions and leaderless men and women in Congress.

What I know is that had our congressional leadership seized the day upon the inauguration of President Trump a mere 2 years ago, many of the issues we face today would be non-issues, having been solved and in short order.

Don’t believe the hype promoted by media talking heads and so called late night hosts or even those all-knowing entertainers of television or movie fame. Their intention is to prevent the critical right turn of America away from the socialistic leanings of those attempting to bring this nation to its knees.

President Trump has worked harder and longer in 2 years to bring about more sustainable and desirable change in America than all of his predecessors combined. Because he is a successful businessman who made his fortune prior to becoming President, he works past the roadblocks and obstacles thrown out there by people who may feel threatened by their own loss of power.

I hear politicians flaunting their “power” and their self-importance, yet doing less than nothing about using that power to the advantage of American citizens. By their actions many legislators have become unregistered agents of foreign powers in their quest to prevent the sitting President from exercising his executive powers to administer government laws and policies.

When politicians say it’s about me, me, me I hear President Trump say he is working for US, the American people, and he’s doing it for free. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely – A Look Back

1-25-2019

Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely – A Look Back

It is foolish for man to think he possess power and control over anything. There is only one who has absolute power and that is the Creator God who does not relegate that power to the creation. Beginning with Adam man has had a problem with power and control. In the Garden of Eden man had the power to eat of the fruit, converse with God daily and name the birds of the air, the animals on land and the fish in the sea, yet could not control the temptation to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, forbidden by God himself.

The result was an immediate separation from God due to the sin of disobedience. This was followed by the blame game as man tried lying to God (who knows and sees all) in an attempt to place the blame on everyone but himself. God asked, Adam blamed God for giving him Eve; Eve blamed the serpent for deceiving her; and the serpent laughed. God destined man to work his entire life, woman to bear children and her children to be at odds with the serpent.

The serpent would have his head smashed by the foot of man, the second Adam in the personhood of Jesus, the Christ who was God’s only begotten son who would be born of woman, die on the cross for the sins of man and take the keys to hell, be raised on the third day to sit at the right hand of God the Father until the time he would return to earth on a White Horse of fire.

To show how foolish it is for man to think he is in control, power, money and even the wealth of kings is never enough. The more you have, the more you want more. Money is power and power is money. It is the nature of man to be greedy.

Moses was given the law from God in the form of the 10 Commandments in Exodus 20:2-17 and again in Deuteronomy 5:6-21. The essence of the law was to love God with your entire being, love your neighbor as you love yourself and whenever possible to live in peace with everyone.

At one point in history man began working together to build a tower into the heavens. Had it been successful man would have no need of God. So God confused their speaking into many languages and scattered them to the ends of the earth. Man has been in war against man ever since. Fighting, conquering in the quest for power, absolute power.

The military is structured with a hierarchy of power called ranks and titles. With each come commitment and responsibilities to the branch of service, the unit and its mission and to the men and women who get the job done.

There used to be an accelerated promotion program referred to as “shake and bake” where individuals are placed through a rapid training course and become sergeants. The intent is to provide leaders to take troops into battle. There are pros and cons of this program with many successes and many failures.

It takes someone with a certain maturity to handle the responsibilities of leadership. There are many decisions to be made that affect life, limb and property in order to accomplish the mission. Without that maturity individuals are unable to handle it. It is referred to as having a “big head” (their head swells with their new found rank and power). The same thing happens in everyday life outside the military too.

Take any company, corporation or franchise that promotes from within, a worker becomes a shift leader or supervisor. Where he was working alongside his buddies and co-workers, now he’s the “Boss”. His relationship has changed and he cannot give the appearance of favoritism. He tells people what to do and things become tense. Those who don’t comply with his often ridiculous instructions are “written up”. Then their hours are reduced resulting in smaller paychecks. Soon they quit.

We see this in politics too. Starting at the local level, maybe city council or county commissioner level where one must actually run for office. There are promises made and votes to gain. Once the election is over the promises often become a distant memory to be forgotten, until the next election cycle. The quest for power has begun. Next it’s mayor, governor or maybe state legislature, then on to Washington, D.C. There are committees, panels and it doesn’t take long to feel so all important and one could make the argument for irreplaceability. It now becomes a matter of longevity in office. Promises made but forgotten as the goals have changed and staying in power is paramount.

On the national level there are “pork barrel” projects for home districts or states that must be advanced. Lobbyists groups have special interests to promote and they need legislators to come on board. Often times there are financial “kickbacks”, vacations or other means of insuring their support. Remember power is money and money is power and often giving the illusion of absolute power and being untouchable or slightly above the law.

It is the voters who do not see inside the beltway or inside the halls of congress. They do not see the wrangling for positions of power, committees that influence the outcome of votes. They do not see the corruption or deceit that goes on daily. The name game influences the next election and voters often just check off names by political party and move on. That is exactly what some legislators are counting on, the checking off the boxes without any real investigation into whether or not a change is needed.

Once legislators are elected they are like fish in a pond, looking for committees to join or be appointed to, caucuses to join or create to advance their personal agendas. The longer they are in office more powerful they become. The more powerful they become the more they long to remain in office. If they are strong forceful speakers they may be the voice of a particular piece of legislation. Or they may simply occupy an assigned seat and vote as they are told to vote. Only a few have decided not to run for reelection after a single term because of the politics.

I have a simple question – how can any politician stomach graft, corruption and grossly padded bank accounts while serving as “public servants” in the halls of congress?

Can any legislator seriously say that they have done all they can do for the good of the constituents who got them elected without doing it for personal gain? For those who have been in office more than 2 terms, what have you accomplished for the nation – National Security; Jobs; Economy?

Or has the sum of your existence in congress defined by your commitment to obstructing a sitting president to satisfy someone else’s ego? – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Examining the Congressional Black Caucus

1-24-2019

Examining the Congressional Black Caucus

Earlier I posted a series of mems about the CBC. They were short, informative and deliberate. It is not because I’m prejudiced or a racist, but BECAUSE the CBC is a racist organization inside the Congress of the United States. Many don’t realize the effect the CBC has on the Congress, the government and the American people. The members of the CBC are vocal, in your face and hate President Trump with a passion. The focus of the CBC is the discrediting, disrupting and ultimately removing President Trump from office.

From the very beginning of the Trump administration the CBC became visible as they boycotted the presidential inauguration. One of the early members of the CBC to be heard was Rep. Frederica S. Wilson D-FL, who interrupted a private and personal phone call between President Trump and the widow of an AFRICOM soldier killed by insurgents in Africa. Her selfish actions were unconscionable as she attempted to discredit and shame President Trump.

Another CBC member who has been extremely vocal with her hatred of President Trump has been Rep. Maxine Waters D-CA who has chanted “Impeach Trump” so many times she received the appropriate nickname from the president, “Mad Max”. She has enabled her followers to stalk, harass and engage in physical contact with Trump Administration and White House staff, even sitting Senators and their families. Such a disgrace!

Other names are the infamous Rep. Keith Ellison D-MN who while running for MN Attorney General had sexual assault and/or abuse charges levied against him, but he still won. We’ve heard from Rep. John Lewis, Rep. James E. Clyburn, Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, Rep. Yvette D. Clarke, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, Sen. Cory Booker, Rep. Mia Love, Rep. Stacey Plaskett and more recently Sen. Kamala D. Harris. Each member has what looks like a choreographed part to play in the CBC musical against President Trump.

What many fail to see is that the Congressional Black Caucus is funded in the House and all of its members are from both the House and the Senate and all are black by choice. This racially charged caucus has become infused into more than 90+ congressional caucuses and committees, and when former Rep. Keith Ellison was a member he was also a high member in the Democratic Party. Thus it is conceivable that the CBC has basically hijacked the Democratic Party. Some of the CBC members have been around in congress since 1991.

The CBC has been known to have a radical association with Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam (a terrorist organization). Former President Barack Obama is an alumnus of the CBC, which he joined as a Senator from Illinois.

The CBC has an active part in instigating hostility against law enforcement through their taunts, and by their actions stirring up racial tensions. They have actively sought to remove CSA statues, Religious monuments and even attempted to have US military installations renamed, in effect wiping out all traces of US Veterans who were members of the CSA.

Contrary to what you may think you know or believe. This article is about racism in the Congress of the United States perpetuated by the racist group known as the Congressional Black Caucus. They have been a slow moving steam roller gently rolling over congress until they have become emboldened to the point of feeling untouchable. Such is their entrenched power the Democratic Party and the Republican Party congressional leadership have been powerless to act.

Nothing will change unless American citizens stop the infighting, come together and demand an end to this and any other congressional caucus that prevents elected legislators from doing their duty as public servants and begin representing the constituents who sent them into office.

We should not be Democratic-Americans or Republican-Americans. We are Americans, citizens of the United States of America, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

Stand proudly facing the flag, reciting the pledge of allegiance and you can call yourself a patriot. Failing or unwilling to do that, step aside and go to your safe space and wait for Uber to take you to the border where you will find solace in the company of others who do not share OUR love for our country. – I am the Real Truckmaster!
