We Are Living In The Last Days

4-16-2019

We Are Living In The Last Days

Is there any doubt that we are living in the last days as prophesied in the Book of Revelations? All you need to do is look around at the killings of entire populations because of their faith in Jesus Christ in Middle East and African countries. How many Christian churches have been specifically targeted around the world?

It is more than an old adage “those who live by the sword will die by the sword” it is a truism of great magnitude. We see fire and the sword are weapons of choice of the forces of darkness sweeping across the face of the earth just as it is described in the Book of Revelations. That is ironic because that is the way it will be after judgment for those who end up by choice in Hell (the lake of fire). There is a prevalent cancer that has invaded western civilization that originated through the lineage of Abraham and will not end until the great battle of Armageddon.

The carnage we see across Europe with raping, murder and the burning of long established and prominent churches like the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and even the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem both burning on the same day have shocked the world, yet not opened their eyes to this cancer among us. The radical Islamic culture is based on an eye for an eye, conversion by fear and outright lying to non-Muslims and honor killings the norm.

I don’t claim to have any answers, but I know the one who is the answer and his name is Jesus. As we approach the anniversary of his laying down his life on the cross at Calvary for the sins of the world and his resurrection three days later we see how desperate the world is in need of salvation.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

We are told that in the last days 1/3 of the world population will be killed and right before our very eyes we have abortion, murder, accidental death, suicides and war every single day. If you haven’t experienced any of these, you probably know someone who has? The world is in a downward spiral and like a top nearing the end of its spin, collapse is the end result.

We are told not to lean on our own understanding but to place all of our trust in the God who created everything. This Resurrection Sunday is a good day to enter a House of Worship and give thanks to Almighty God for his mercy endures forever and his love is ever lasting.

Foiled by Their Own Tactics

4-15-2019

Foiled by Their Own Tactics

Calling it like I see it the far-left leaning liberal Socialistic-Progressive-Democratic Party gets caught up in the snares of their own bag of tricks and dirty dealings.

Counterrules to Alinsky’s rules

COUNTERRULE 1: Give them power way beyond what they have – then paint them as a thug, oppressor, and a mafia organization.

COUNTERRULE 2: Turn their expertise against them by pointing out the hypocrisies and contradictions within their own belief system.

COUNTERRULE 3: Use absurdity to defeat absurdity. Push them into moral arguments and away from policy arguments. Always try to paint them as a religious organization and bash them for violating separation of church and state.

COUNTERRULE 4: Make them live by the same rules you do.

COUNTERRULE 5: Ridicule them back by pointing out the one-sidedness of their ridicule and the free pass they give their own side.

COUNTERRULE 6: Let their tactics blow up in their faces by staying a step ahead and funneling them to the place of hanging themselves with their own rope.

COUNTERRULE 7: Liberals never obey rule 7. Use it against them.

COUNTRERULE 8: Use passive-aggressiveness. Paint them as bullies and thugs, when they recoil take their heads off and say it was self-defense. Always play the victim, even when they try and play the victim. Let it go to surreal absurdity because people lose interest quick in a catfight.

COUNTRERULE 9: Let the threat build up to beyond critical mass till it’s too late to back out, then destroy it loudly, publicly, and repeatedly with a pre-planned argument. Don’t be afraid to sow seeds with misinformation that they can turn into readymade fallacies you can destroy.

COUNTERRULE 10: Fight them to a stalemate. When you have an aggressor that must win, fighting to a stalemate can be a victory. It’s especially effective if their ‘negative’ means denying one of their own ‘social justice’. E.g. green energy would be expensive and hurt the poor.

COUNTERRULE 11: Liberals forget this rule, and their ‘solutions’ are doomed by their ideology out of the box and never bet beyond the stock, repetitive dogma. Use that congenital defect against them.

COUNTERRULE 12: Question the credibility and especially the motivation of their attack and the attacker. Point out any hypocrisies, contradictions, or selective enforcement. Trip them up, then brand them as illegitimate, intellectually bankrupt, divisive, hateful.

Everyone knows that die hard Republicans and law abiding American and typical politicians do not have the temperament to follow those 12 rules. That being said (and the Democrats haven’t yet learned) President Trump is not your typical politician and has NO PROBLEM raining on their liberal parade.

Liberal violence is simply a way of life for those who are unable to cope with trumpism in its most basic form. So why they scramble around like little vermin searching for ways to “Stop Trump” they have forgotten Rule #7 “Liberals never obey rules”. That swishing sound you may be hearing at times is just the sound a swamp makes when it’s swirling down the drain……. Glug Glug! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

My Colonoscopy (Updated)

colonoscopy

4-15-19 – My Colonoscopy (Updated)

When people reach 50 years of age they are encouraged to have their colon checked for cancer. This procedure is called a colonoscopy. I contacted a local clinic that specializes in these procedures and scheduled an appointment.

I received an instruction sheet that specified a number of products to be purchased at my local Walgreen’s drug store. These items are referred to as “the stuff” and consist of laxative pills and a colon cleansing mixture that is used in Gatorade, plus a lemon tasting liquid that is like a volcano in a bottle.

The day before the procedure there are certain steps that are to be done. Things like mixing the Gatorade and the cleansing mixture and placing it in the refrigerator to chill. That evening one must take the laxative pills and drink the lemon tasting liquid before going to bed.

At 0500 the morning of the procedure one begins the regiment of taking one glass every 15 minutes until the entire 64 ounces of the Gatorade mixture is consumed (approximately 2 hours). The instructions state that one must plan on staying home and near the bathroom due to the sudden, explosive emission of bodily fluids will occur (this is normal). What they don’t tell you is that the entire contents of your body will pass before you and go down the drain.

After a couple of hours there is nothing left in your stomach or your colon, and it’s time to go to the clinic. My procedure was scheduled for 1230 pm and I had to check in one hour prior to do the paperwork. There were forms in white and forms in blue, possibly other colors, but I don’t remember much except one or more of the forms indicated consent for an emergency CPR procedure if necessary. Possibly there were non-disclosure and non-liability clauses should the procedure not go according to plan.

Then a nurse took me back to the staging room where she instructed me to get buck naked and put the hospital gown on with the opening in the rear (where mine is). She was kind enough to let me keep my socks on, although I thought it was a modesty issue. She said to place my clothes in the special bag, and get on the bed and cover with the blanket. It was a warm blanket, and the socks kept my feet from getting cold.

After she returned with the IV stuff and the needle, she proceeded to question me on my prescription medication, making sure that I had stopped the proper medications prior to this procedure. Then she attempted to pressure the vein in my right hand to pop up, and used several karate chop style moves on my defenseless hand. She explained that after the procedure I would feel bloated and puffed up due to the amount of air that would be pumped into my colon to inflate it. She said I would have to pass this gas in order to relieve the pressure. She then succeeded in getting the IV stuff in the vein and told me to wait as someone would be in shortly when the doctor was ready for me. She gave me a cord with a red button to press in case I needed assistance to the bathroom, although I knew it would be fruitless to summon anyone should a reoccurrence of the explosive nature occur.

Then a nurse came in and wheeled me to the procedure room and began explaining what medications would be used, and cautioning me that I would have a temporary memory loss, leaving me with no recollection of the procedure. He would wait do the doctor could talk to me first.

The doctor was nice and began explaining to me about the procedure, how it worked and what the results would show. Afterwards, he would give me a verbal recap and let me know if any abnormality was found. The nurse had me turn over on my left side and pull my knees up to the kneeling position. As he began the medication I attempted to focus on the electrical outlet on the wall, but it was too fast for me.

I opened my eyes and my son-in-law Mike was in the recovery room waiting for me to wake up. A nurse brought me a drink of apple juice. The doctor came in and explained that everything was fine and normal for someone of my age.

I vaguely remember the ride home or getting into bed. About 3 hours later I awoke with the realization that I hadn’t eaten anything for 2 days, and was extremely hungry.

The next morning the nurse called to check on me. He asked if there was anything I wanted to pass on to the doctor, or any way they could improve the quality of service. I told him that everything was fine, but if they wanted to replace the air with laughing gas, it would allow everyone in the room to share this humorous and often embarrassing passing of the gas.

That’s about all I remember of this procedure called a colonoscopy.

On my latest one I asked the doctor for some laughing gas so that everyone could share in the moment with me (he didn’t find that the least bit funny). In the operating room I asked if he wanted me awake for this procedure or not…………….. (I woke up in recovery room).

I do remember advice from a nurse when I picked up the instructions, she said use a straw to use with the drink (mixture), it will make it much easier and faster. (It did) – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Dave Barry’s colonoscopy journal:
========================

I called my friend Andy Sable, a gastroenterologist, to make an appointment for a colonoscopy.

A few days later, in his office, Andy showed me a color diagram of the colon, a lengthy organ that appears to go all over the place, at one point passing briefly through Minneapolis .

Then Andy explained the colonoscopy procedure to me in a thorough, reassuring and patient manner.

I nodded thoughtfully, but I didn’t really hear anything he said, because my brain was shrieking, quote, ‘HE’S GOING TO STICK A TUBE 17,000 FEET UP YOUR BEHIND!’

I left Andy’s office with some written instructions, and a prescription for a product called ‘MoviPrep,’ which comes in a box large enough to hold a microwave oven.

I will discuss MoviPrep in detail later; for now suffice it to say that we must never allow it to fall into the hands of America’s enemies.
I spent the next several days productively sitting around being nervous.

Then, on the day before my colonoscopy, I began my preparation.

In accordance with my instructions, I didn’t eat any solid food that day; all I had was chicken broth, which is basically water, only with less flavor.

Then, in the evening , I took the MoviPrep.  You mix two packets of powder together in a one-liter plastic jug, then you fill it with lukewarm water.  (For those unfamiliar with the metric system, a liter is about 32 gallons). Then you have to drink the whole jug.  This takes about an hour, because MoviPrep tastes – and here I am being kind – like a mixture of goat spit and urinal cleanser, with just a hint of lemon.

The instructions for MoviPrep, clearly written by somebody with a great sense of humor, state that after you drink it, ‘a loose, watery bowel movement may result’.

This is kind of like saying that after you jump off your roof, you may experience contact with the ground.

MoviPrep is a nuclear laxative.  I don’t want to be too graphic, here, but:  have you ever seen a space-shuttle launch?  This is pretty much the MoviPrep experience, with you as the shuttle.  There are times when you wish the commode had a seat belt.  You spend several hours pretty much confined to the bathroom, spurting violently.  You eliminate everything.  And then, when you figure you must be totally empty, you have to drink another liter of MoviPrep, at which point, as far as I can tell, your bowels travel into the future and start eliminating food that you have not even eaten yet.

After an action-packed evening, I finally got to sleep.

The next morning my wife drove me to the clinic.  I was very nervous.  Not only was I worried about the procedure, but I had been experiencing occasional return bouts of MoviPrep spurtage.  I was thinking, ‘What if I spurt on Andy?’  How do you apologize to a friend for something like that?  Flowers would not be enough.

At the clinic I had to sign many forms acknowledging that I understood and totally agreed with whatever the heck the forms said.  Then they led me to a room full of other colonoscopy people, where I went inside a little curtained space and took off my clothes and put on one of those hospital garments designed by sadist perverts; the kind that, when you put it on, makes you feel even more naked than when you are actually naked.

Then a nurse named Eddie put a little needle in a vein in my left hand.  Ordinarily I would have fainted, but Eddie was very good, and I was already lying down.  Eddie also told me that some people put vodka in their MoviPrep.

At first I was ticked off that I hadn’t thought of this, but then I pondered what would happen if you got yourself too tipsy to make it to the bathroom, so you were staggering around in full Fire Hose Mode.  You would have no choice but to burn your house.

When everything was ready, Eddie wheeled me into the procedure room, where Andy was waiting with a nurse and an anesthesiologist  I did not see the 17,000-foot tube, but I knew Andy had it hidden around there somewhere.  I was seriously nervous at this point.

Andy had me roll over on my left side, and the anesthesiologist began hooking something up to the needle in my hand.

There was music playing in the room, and I realized that the song was ‘Dancing Queen’ by ABBA.  I remarked to Andy that, of all the songs that could be playing during this particular procedure, ‘Dancing Queen’ had to be the least appropriate.

‘You want me to turn it up?’ said Andy, from somewhere behind me.

‘Ha ha,’ I said.  And then it was time; the moment I had been dreading for more than a decade.  If you are squeamish, prepare yourself, because I am going to tell you, in explicit detail, exactly what it was like.

I have no idea!  Really!  I slept through it!  One moment, ABBA was yelling, ‘Dancing Queen, feel the beat of the tambourine,’ and the next moment, I was back in the other room, waking up in a very mellow mood.

Andy was looking down at me and asking me how I felt.  I felt excellent.  I felt even more excellent when Andy told me that It was all over, and that my colon had passed with flying colors.  I have never been prouder of an internal organ.

ABOUT THE WRITER

Dave Barry is a Pulitzer Prize-winning humor columnist for the Miami Herald.

On the subject of Colonoscopies…

Colonoscopies are no joke, but these comments during the exam were quite humorous….. A physician claimed that the following are actual comments made by his patients (predominately male) while he was performing their colonoscopies:

1. ‘Take it easy, Doc.  You’re boldly going where no man has gone before!’

2. ‘Find Amelia Earhart yet?’

3. ‘Can you hear me NOW?’

4. ‘Are we there yet?  Are we there yet?  Are we there yet?’

5. ‘You know, in Arkansas, we’re now legally married.’

6. ‘Any sign of the trapped miners, Chief?’

7. ‘You put your left hand in, you take your left hand out…’

8. ‘Hey!  Now I know how a Muppet feels!’

9. ‘If your hand doesn’t fit, you must quit!’

10. ‘Hey Doc, let me know if you find my dignity.’

11. ‘You used to be an executive at Enron, didn’t you?’

12. ‘God, now I know why I am not gay.

And the best one of all.

13. ‘Could you write a note for my wife saying that my head is not up there?’

COPING

4-15-2019

COPING

During the last four or five years I’ve had a number of people close to me suddenly cross-over, die, or pass away (pick one). I’ve seen it all, or so I thought. Suicide or natural death they are still gone. Some have been family members (close and distant), while others have been friends I’ve known my entire life, or close friends who are here today and gone tomorrow. The saying that no one’s an island is perfectly true. We may think we deal best when we are alone, but that’s not how we were created.

I don’t think I’ve let myself grieve for any of those I’ve lost. I mean they’re not really lost, they either went up or down and at times the choice rests with those who couldn’t deal with life and chose a way out that is not really out of anything.

Some went gradually through the process and disease of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Those were the hardest to deal with and see them virtually and gradually losing a grip on the world as we knew it. The final weeks and months seemed to drag by, but in hindsight were not quite long enough.

At mom’s funeral I found myself with no words to say. For once I was speechless and for those who know me it’s not normal. I usually have something to say about everything and I’m not afraid to give my opinion at the drop of a hat. More recently at dad’s funeral I was like the host, guiding the service along and basking in the memories from times gone by. When I’d pop in at the Veterans Home I’d often tell the nurses and staff that he’s my brother. Our glasses were the easy way to tell us apart (accept he was a bit older than me if they took the time to see). I’ve had aunts, uncles and cousins passing in different states and I guess that’s to be expected as death is a part of life.

I can’t forget the phone calls, the first one from a friend who came home from work and found her husband’s body. The two miles took me almost no time and I ended up following local fire and rescue to the house. I didn’t go inside, but watched from the driveway as they brought him out. It’s not real unless you get closure. Closure came at the funeral home in his home town, the church service and burial. That’s when it really sunk in he was gone. The second call was from a detective asking if I knew the deceased. Not giving the cause of death, just my business card was on his computer desk and no family info. I had to go through possessions, return a recently purchased car to the bank and arrange for the body to be buried at the national cemetery in Denver, just so surreal. Another was about a high school buddy who passed away back home and his wife called to let me know. The most recent was yesterday and I’m not sure I’m handling it very well. A friend whom I had talked to infrequently the past couple of months and the call said she passed at home. There have been others that I have come to know over the years and some through online veterans groups with an exchange of emails, pictures and an occasional chat session and then nothing.

There’s really nobody to sit down and talk to about them when after it happens. My military training has me compartmentalize things, people and places once they are no longer around or in my life until we reconnect at a reunion, along the freeway at a truck stop or during an unexpected surprise visit.

They say that it’s normal to talk to yourself and I do that a lot now days. They also say when you start answering yourself it’s time to go see a doctor or something. I don’t really believe that because I’m pushing 70 this year and I see my doctor(s) at fairly regular intervals.

The kids are all grown and have kids and grandkids of their own, yet they call or pop in just to see if my blood pressure is normal. They know what buttons to push if the BP needs elevated.

The wife is working still and her little old ladies and their hair keep her hopping like crazy and she has an occasional customer who passes away and she’s coping with them.

The one I can always count on under all circumstances is God. Maybe I haven’t made the best use of calling out to him like I should, but I know that he hears me when I call. I know that because he hears me he answers my requests, sometimes with a funny twist. His answers are not always what I ask for or when I want it, but it is always at the right time and according to his purpose and schedule for my life. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Solution a Litmus Test for Congress

4-14-2019

The Solution a Litmus Test For Congress

I’ve been asking myself how do you fix what’s broken in Congress? Democrats are outdoing themselves with self-destructive behavior, Republicans know but don’t and Independents are often half-right most of the time. So what are we supposed to do? The simple answer is elect better legislators! That takes time and the way Congress is set up so that only 1/3 of the House comes up for election every cycle, and the Senate has longer terms making it difficult if not impossible to fully change all 535 seats in Congress in less than 12 years.

We know that the House is controlled by Democrats and the Senate is controlled by the Republicans, yet there is no middle ground where by the Congress looks out for American citizens, yet hopes to garner enough votes to stay in office until they are able to retire with a pension. Since when has public service become a career path?

I guess we have to deal with what we have in both Chambers of the Legislature.

The Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader could adopt a sort of litmus test that each member of Congress is required to use to determine if each bill should be passed then sent over to the other Chamber, and/or proceed to the desk of the President to be signed into law?

Let’s use the IF and OR model for processes (something they teach in college – or maybe they should). It would go something like this:

Proposed Legislation (Bill) = Bill to deal with individual Healthcare

(Does this bill positively impact the citizens in my home district or state?)

IF YES = Vote to adopt this bill

NEXT – Send it to the other Chamber

OR

Send it to the President to be signed into law.

IF NO = Vote against adoption

Send it back to committee for revision repeat the process above).

OR

Table the bill (effectively killing it)

(When it comes out of committee

With 435 House Members and 100 Senators for a total of 535 Members of Congress using a simple formula there would be no need for the 262 Congressional Caucuses or Congressional Staff Organizations that prevent the efficient or effective time management.

The Democratic Party has transformed into the Progressive-Democratic Party with promises of being “The People’s Party”. Simply attempting to override, change or ignore the Constitution is in itself unconstitutional. Claiming capitalism is morally wrong or racist is merely demonstrating ignorance and leads to subversive activities attempting to overthrow the government from within. Legislators selling Communism, Marxism, Socialism, or any other type of government are like snake oil salesmen in the American Wild West and their claim are not valid. Where throughout history have we seen the people’s party in action? In China, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Cuba, the Soviet Union (Russian Federation), Venezuela and other nations under Democratic-Socialist or under Communism? Without transitioning into some form of capitalism the people suffer unspeakable horror as these nations fail miserably.

When our government becomes unresponsive to “We the People” they no longer have the confidence and trust of our citizenry. The Constitution is very clear that it then becomes time to cast off the government and begin anew. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Congress of the United States

4-14-2019

The Congress of the United States

116th Congress 2017 – Present

What is Congress?

The United States Congress is the bicameral legislature of the Federal Government of the United States. The legislature consists of two chambers: the House of Representatives and the Senate. www.congress.gov

What is a Caucus?

A closed meeting of a group of persons belonging to the same political party or faction usually to select candidates or to decide on policy a presidential caucus; also: a group of people united to promote an agreed-upon cause. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/caucus

I though it important to present the above definitions in light of the current number of Congressional Caucuses in operation today. As of 24 September 2018 there are at least 262 Congressional Caucuses making Capitol Hill in Washington quite literally one huge political swamp. Even the internet (World Wide Web) seems dwarfed in comparison.

We have a finite number of legislators – 435 in the House, 100 in the Senate. It is a given that every member of the 116th Congress belongs to at least 1 Caucus and is a wonder that anything gets accomplished at all. I haven’t even touched on the number of days per year that Congress is in session.

Powder Keg

When you liken Congress to a keg of gunpowder (Google it), the main stream media is the fuse, with journalists/talk show hosts matches and lighters, and every word, deed or action from President Trump as a spark one can easily see the combustible mix just waiting to explode on a daily, sometimes minute by minute basis.

Progressivism

Former President Barack Obama also recently spoke to ALL Congressional Freshmen in the House of Representatives. I asked myself – Why? Was it to give them a warm fuzzy about being elected into Congress? Or was it the community organizer in him that had to take all of these hot pistols (flashes in the pan if you will) and organize and invite them to become part of an effective Progressive political team?

Progressives were the topic recently used by former President Barack Obama as he made his appearance recently on the world stage in Europe and in America. He spoke as one still in authority, but that was community activism on a much bigger stage. I began thinking – Why was Obama speaking in Europe at all? By whose authority did he speak?

Let us look at the catch phrase word of today – Progressivism.

Congressional Progressive Caucus

That brings me to the Congressional Progressive Caucus which is a caucus WITHIN the Democratic Congressional Caucus WITHIN the United States Congress. So what is the CPC? The CPC is a left-leaning organization that works to advance progressive and liberal issues and positions and represents the progressive faction of the Democratic Party.

Founding

It was founded in 1991 (keep in mind who was President and what was going on in 1991) by six Representatives: Ron Dellums (D-CA), Lane Evans (D-IL), Thomas Andrews (D-ME), Peter DeFazio (D-OR), Maxine Waters (D-CA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Additional House members joined soon thereafter, including Major Owens (D-NY), Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), David Bonior (D-MI), Bob Filner (D-CA), Barney Frank (D-MA), Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), Jim McDermott (D-WA), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Patsy Mink (D-HI), George Miller (D-CA), Pete Stark (D-CA), John Olver (D-MA), Lynn Woolsey (D-CA) and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Sanders was the convener and first CPC Chairman. Bill Goold served as Staff Coordinator for the Progressive Caucus in its early years until 1998.

Concerns

The founding members of the CPC were concerned about the economic hardship imposed by the deepening recession and the growing inequality brought about by the timidity of the Democratic Party response in the early 1990s. On January 3, 1995 at a standing room only news conference on Capitol Hill, they were the first group inside Congress to chart a detailed, comprehensive legislative alternative to U.S. Speaker Newt Gingrich and the Republican Contract with America, which they termed “the most regressive tax proposals and reactionary social legislation the Congress had before it in 70 years”. The CPC’s ambitious agenda was framed as “The Progressive Promise: Fairness”.

Ideology

The CPC advocates “universal access to affordable, high quality healthcare” (universal healthcare or single-payer healthcare), fair trade agreements, living wage laws, the right of all workers to organize into labor unions and engage in collective bargaining, the abolition of the USA PATRIOT Act, the legalization of same-sex marriage, U.S. participation in international treaties such as the climate change related Kyoto Accords, responsible reductions in profligate military expenditure, strict campaign finance reform laws, a crackdown on corporate welfare and influence, an increase in income tax rates on upper-middle and upper class households, tax cuts for the poor and an increase in welfare spending by the federal government. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congressional_Progressive_Caucus

As of the 116th Congress the Congressional Progressive Caucus has grown to 96 members out of 235 Democratic members of the House with 27 being members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Congressional Caucus

A congressional caucus is a group of members of the United States Congress that meets to pursue common legislative objectives. Formally, caucuses are formed as congressional member organizations (CMOs) through the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate and governed under the rules of these chambers. In addition to the term caucus, they are sometimes called conferences (especially Republican ones), coalitions, study groups, task forces, or working groups.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congressional_caucus

The Congress of the United States has become overly corrupt by allowing the widespread use of Caucuses to influence policy to the detriment of America’s working class by the creation of a newly formed Non-Working Non-Citizen Class. I have yet to breakdown the number of Caucuses controlled by political parties but it seems that a great many are Democratic Party entities which in the House are mainly funded by taxpayers. The aim of the so called “Peoples Party” (Democrats) is the rigid control and exploitation of the people (voters, taxpayers and all others) while demanding their praise and allegiance. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Hidden Agenda Exposed

Ilhan_Omar,_official_portrait,_116th_Congress.jpg

Hidden Agenda Exposed

This is a look into the political life of one of America’s newest legislators Representative Ilhan Omar – Democrat, 5th Congressional District of Minnesota. Omar was born in Raas Cabaad (Mogadishu), Somalia on October 4, 1981, entered the US in 1992 and applied for asylum in 1995 as a Somali refugee. Omar became a naturalized US citizen in 2000, and was elected Representative in the Minnesota State Legislature in 2012. Omar was then elected to the US House of Representatives in 2018 and sworn in on January 3, 2019 becoming the first Somali-American Muslim woman elected to the US Congress. I speculate about her rapid rise into the Congress of the United States much the same way that former President Barack Hussain Obama entered and rose to power on the American political scene.

From Wikipedia on Rep. Ilhan Omar:

A member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Omar has advocated for a living wage, affordable housing and healthcare, student loan debt forgiveness, the protection of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, and abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). She has strongly opposed the immigration policies of the Donald Trump administration, including the Trump travel ban. A frequent critic of Israel, Omar has denounced its settlement policy and military campaigns in the occupied Palestinian territories, and what she describes as the influence of pro-Israel lobbies such as AIPAC.

Political positions

Omar supports free tuition for college students and greater accessibility to student loan forgiveness programs,[54] Medicare for All as proposed in the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act,[10][55] in favor of the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency,[56] prosecuting federal officials who have been accused of physical and sexual assault of people in their detention,[57] protection of sanctuary cities and a path to permanent status for DREAMers and their families,[56] opposes efforts to seal the border.

Omar has been critical of U.S. foreign policy and called to reduce funding for “perpetual war and military aggression”,[61] has criticized Saudi Arabia‘s human rights abuses and the Saudi Arabian-led intervention in Yemen.[66][67]

In a Washington Post op-ed, Omar wrote, “Our criticisms of oppression and regional instability caused by Iran are not legitimate if we do not hold Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain to the same standards. And we cannot continue to turn a blind eye to repression in Saudi Arabia—a country that is consistently ranked among the worst of the worst human rights offenders.”[63] She also condemned the Assad regime in Syria.[69]

Regarding Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, a far-right politician criticized for misogynistic, homophobic, anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim views. Omar has voiced support for a two-state solution to resolve the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.[68][63] She criticized Israel’s settlement building in the occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank.[77] Omar was endorsed in 2018 by the Human Rights Campaign, a major LGBT civil rights advocacy group. In response to the endorsement, Omar stated, “I will fight for LGBTQIA+ rights in Washington D.C.”[95]

Omar supports a $15 hourly minimum wage.[96][10]

In January 2019, amid the 2019 Venezuelan presidential crisis, Omar joined Democrats in denouncing the Trump administration’s decision to recognize Juan Guaidó, the president of the Venezuelan National Assembly, as Venezuela’s interim president.[97] In February 2019 Omar questioned whether Elliott Abrams, whom Trump appointed as Special Representative for Venezuela in January 2019.

According to her official website:

Rep. Omar is an experienced Twin Cities [Minneapolis] policy analyst, organizer and public speaker and advocate. She is the first woman of color to represent Minnesota, and one of the first two Muslim-American women elected to Congress.

Rep. Omar plans to focus on tackling many issues….like investing in education and freeing students from the shackles of debt, ensuring a fair wage for a hard day’s work, creating a just immigration system and tackling the existential threat of climate change. She plans to resist attempts to divide us and push destructive policies that chip away at our rights and freedoms – and to build a more inclusive and compassionate culture, one that will allow our economy to flourish and encourage more Americans to participate in our democracy.

Rep. Omar was born in Somalia, and her family fled the country’s civil war when she was eight. The family spent four years in a refugee camp in Kenya before coming to the United States in the 1990s. In 1997 she moved to Minneapolis with her family. As a teenager her grandfather inspired her to get involved in politics. Before running for office she worked as a community educator at the University of Minnesota, was a Policy Fellow at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and served as a Senior Policy Aide for the Minneapolis City Council.

In 2016 she was elected as the Minnesota House Representative for District 60B, making her the highest-elected Somali-American public official in the United States and the first Somali-American State Legislator. Rep. Omar served as the Assistant Minority Leader, with assignments to three house committees: Civil Law & Data Practices Policy, Higher Education & Career Readiness Policy and Finance, and State Government Finance. Her home is in Minneapolis with her husband and three children.

It’s important to note the grooming she has had during her relatively short residency in the United States and how quickly she has fully grasps the Democratic ideology. Her focus since 2016 into the Minnesota state legislature and her rise in 2019 to the US House of Representatives although impressive should send red flags in all directions for all Americans. Omar may see herself as a pioneer of minority women in politics. I however see her positioning herself to replace House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in the very near political future.

I question her intentions and her allegiance to the United States of America. I have not heard her acknowledge or affirm her oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Based upon her political views I do consider her a very real threat to the sovereignty of this country. She has opposed virtually every policy that enhances the American people she represents and openly supports what amounts to open immigration that would reduce the Constitutional-Republic status of the United States into a sanctuary nation.

I submit to you that a nation without borders, an established rule of law or national identity is not a nation at all and legislators who choose resistance rather than problem solving legislation are not legislators at all. What this country needs are patriots with a passion for building up America without bankrupting its citizens or forcing them into slave labor through intimidation and fear tactics.

Historically democratic or social-democratic governments strip away human dignity and divert important and necessary resources away from their intended recipients and end up propping up dictators and enhancing their personal finances. Look at financial aid freely given and sent to nations in distress due to disasters and conflicts, many times the aid sits in warehouses and doled out for financial gain at many levels.

The same can be said here in the United States, democratically controlled states, counties, cities and municipalities are the leaders in personal loss of liberty and freedom of its citizens while crime levels rise and the only way seen to remedy is increase taxes, restrict personal rights and demand re-election. This ought not to be. Although not perfect, the United States of America is by far the greatest nation on earth by design. Like any chain or architectural pillar it is only as strong as its weakest link or weakest foundational point. If you are not working to become the solution, you are most likely the problem! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

My Thoughts on American Politics for 2020

4-12-2019

My Thoughts on American Politics for 2020

Those who know me and for you who do not I have been following media commentaries and events leading up to the 2020 US Presidential Campaign.

There are two kinds of people running for the office of President of the United States.

  1. Qualified yet unfit for the highest political office
    2. Qualified and currently serving in the highest political office

Not everyone who jumps into the pool can swim. Some do it for attention, others for sympathy and still others because they can and a very select few because of necessity.

The US political process has been corrupted for a long time, so long in fact that we (the American people) have been blind to its corruption. We are continually fed channeled information thru the various media outlets. I venture to say that most of what we read, hear or see is far from the truth.

We are told that Democrats are destroying the country that we love.

We are told that Republicans are destroying the country that we love.

I believe that American politicians (backed by greedy, power hungry and extremely wealthy individuals) are causing division in America in order to maintain their normal political power and business as usual way of life in politics.

American politics has become a magnet for Social-Democrats and Left Leaning Communistic or Muslim Politicians bent on destroying the American way of life in the country that we love. They seem determined on turning back the clock and making the United States of America nothing more than another third rate political country.

What America needs for 2020 is a complete make-over of our political process.

Politicians are voted into office by the American people (US citizens) and must remember who sent them and what we (the voters) have sent them to do (preserve the US Constitution and represent the American people).

America is still a place where anyone can come, adapt to our way of life, work hard to provide a better life for them and their families, and proceed on the path to citizenship and thereby obtain their American Dream.

What has changed in recent years is the fact that people with a very different ideology are focusing on destroying our American way of life and are being supported by American Politicians AND in many cases by a portion of the American people who don’t seem to know or care about the safeguards built into the US Constitution.

Unless you are a Veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States, a member of the Legislative, Judicial or Executive branches of government, you may not have sworn to (or taken) the oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies (foreign or domestic). No matter how you feel about politics or political parties, Veterans knows the oath they have taken and there is on expiration date.

I don’t believe all the hype or negativity that’s being passed on as “truth” about any one running for office.

The 2020 election has brought out what amounts to a bowl of political fruit salad with Democratic Party candidates who favor eliminating the physical border separating the US and Mexico, eliminating Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), further violating the Constitution by doing away with the Electoral College safeguard, approving abortion (even after birth), lowering the voting age to 16, allowing illegal immigrants to vote, providing free college tuition to illegal immigrants, harassing and intimidating minority voters to vote Democrat (this list is not all inclusive or complete by any means).

From the Republican Party there are those who feel voters need a choice with yet unnamed candidates who may appeal to traditional political values.

As for President Donald Trump, his message is clear, secure our borders by enforcing the Rule of Law to make America Safe Again, while strengthening the US economy through jobs and products produced in America. His America First vision is to place top priority on American values and protecting the US Constitution. His re-election is second only to his love for the country. To me results matter.

As a Veteran I cannot, nor will not support someone as my commander and chief who is incompetent as demonstrated by their political track record or campaign rhetoric.

My litmus test of a good leader is someone who surrounds themselves with experienced and/or qualified people; listens to their advice; makes good solid decisions and takes full responsibility for those decisions; unafraid to make top down changes when needed ; and does not bask in someone else’s glory or plays the political blame game.

A leader must inspire trust and confidence to those who follow, as well as fear for those who would plan harm against the country or people of the United States.

It’s been said over and over that somebody has to do something to change the direction this country is headed in. Well I’m somebody and my vote counts.

I will not vote not for a business as usual career politician whose interest is maintaining control or power at my expense in order to stay in office.

After more than 2 years in office my vote is still for Donald Trump, who as an outsider in politicals has the fortitude and determination to make decisive changes American government, so that America becomes that beacon of hope and light that our founding fathers saw as they laid down their very lives.

My trust is in God Almighty, who rises kings up and brings kings and world leaders down. Nothing escapes Him. Everyone is accountable to Him. God Bless President Donald J. Trump and God Bless the United States of America. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Putting the Cart Before the Horse

4-11-2019

Putting the Cart Before the Horse

Remember the sayings – Don’t count your chickens before they hatch; don’t spend what you don’t have; don’t burn the bridge behind you; or don’t bite the hand that feeds you? Well there’s another one that would fit right in with those, don’t accuse others of what you are guilty of – it might come back to bite you.

We’ve heard from the deep state actors who are part of the Washington DC swamp that Donald Trump is not fit to serve as President or any public office for that matter. We constantly hear it from the likes of Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Shuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein, Maxine Waters, Elijah Cummings and many others who claim to be intellectually superior not only to Donald Trump but every one of his supporters who Hillary so aptly called a “bucket of deplorables”. From the sidelines and surfacing on the world stage are the likes of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, John Kerry, Al Gore who are each past their prime in politics and have been rendered of no consequence because at the end of the day Donald Trump is still our president and theirs too.

I imagine the rise of Donald Trump to that of Tom Cruise’s character Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible from that undisclosed location when Trump got a call not from Mr. Phelps but from above, “Your mission should you choose to accept it is to be my wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness and to restrain evil in the world” (loosely paraphrased by me).

The pivotal point not only in the life of Donald Trump, but in the history of the world came when he (a sinner) accepted that assignment not because of anything that he had done by his own merit but by the grace of Almighty God answering earnest prayer from prayer warriors who fell on their faces before God seeking divine intervention for America.

Biblical scholars and bible readers alike cannot overlook the way God has historically taken men who are seemingly insignificant and unworthy to accomplish his purposes. In each case worldly men have scoffed at, heckled and ridiculed those chosen by God for a specific purpose. The bible tells us that God’s ways are higher than the ways of man and that our brains cannot contain what God has in store for us.

It should come as no surprise when the counter response was instantaneous and total as the forces of darkness came against first the political campaign and second the presidency of Donald Trump from the start. What is equally no surprise is the man whom God chose is one who is not easily distracted or swayed.

In that God is the creator with an unlimited and infinite toolbox from which to choose why are we surprised that God chose an established builder and gave him the tools with which to restrain evil and bring about the self-destruction of the spirit of political correctness in America.

Talk about putting the cart before the horse the liberal left in American politics began declaring the unfitness of a “self-made” man to be President of the United States. So loudly did they declare this untruth that it exposed them for what they really were – unfit themselves for the political offices they held and using all the tools at their disposal they began a constant barrage against the will of the people, the American voters who chose Donald Trump, but against the seemingly unseen hand of Almighty God. It is no surprise that they failed even before they began, yet they keep trying while digging a deeper hole for themselves.

I’m not saying that Donald Trump is a perfect man, because only one was perfect and that was Jesus who was the Christ, Son of Man and Son of God. What I am saying is that Donald Trump is the perfect man for THIS job and at THIS time as President of the United States of America.

Political Correctness has attacked the pillars and the very foundation of this nation which God established and for HIS purpose. Never before or since has a nation been founded upon biblical principles as stated in the US Constitution. Our form of government has never been duplicated nor had the success of that of the United States.

There are several hundreds of nations in existence in the world today. Each one is governed by those who seek personal gain and profit by exerting power over people. There is constant infighting and bloodshed and life is of no consequence or value. Transitioning between national leaders is often done with extreme bloodshed. Human misery and suffering are great and unbearable.

We have come to a point in the history of the United States where government is corrupt. Those on the left are running wild and flaunting every fantasy imaginable from ignoring the sanctity of life, aborting humans every minute of every day with the greatest of ease to the willful enslavement of entire segments of society by offering free food, housing, medical, education and even paying for those unwilling to work. Minorities are consider below the level of competent thought processes and expected to use the power of their vote to enhance those in political power over them.

There are those on the political right who haven’t the courage or intestinal fortitude to stand up to those powerful forces of evil or secure in their Christian salvation to acknowledge and call on the forces of God to defeat the ungodly. It is not by might or by power but by my Spirit says the Lord of Hosts!

Just as prayer warriors fell on their faces seeking divine intervention, we must also continue to trust in Almighty God for HIS peace which passes all understanding. We must depend upon God and his strength to overpower the enemy. This is a battle for the soul of America.

God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of joy, peace and a sound mind. God did not raise up a Billy Graham-style leader in President Trump whose shoot from the hip and straight to the heart of the matter without mincing words language does not at all seem biblical. What God did give America was a man to was obedient when called and had striven to complete the task he has been given. I have said it before and I’ll say it again now, that when Donald J. Trump is in the perfect will of God, doing what he has been sent to do there is nothing that can stop him.

Draining the swamp was more than a campaign slogan to Donald Trump, it is a mission that will be tackled with until the hold of political correctness has been broken in America and evil has been restrained. Based upon the past 2+years it is foreseeable that it may take more than 2 more years and that’s fine because with God all things are possible. What came first the chicken or the egg? – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Enemy of the State

4-10-2019

Enemy of the State

In 1998 Will Smith’s character is targeted for an assassination cover up and he becomes public enemy #1 or the enemy of the state. It’s an action thriller and didn’t do so well at the box office, but at the time it was worth watching. We’ve become accustomed to having the term “enemy of the state” thrown around so much so that it has become cliché.

Anyone who is serving or has served in the US military has taken “the oath” prior to being sworn in. Public servants and those serving in public office also take “the oath” although differing slightly in a nutshell it basically states “I will defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic”.

As children we learned “the pledge of allegiance” and began our school day reciting it together, facing the flag and holding our right hand over our hearts. It established our commitment to our country (the United States) and to our flag (Old Gory) and it became part of “The American Way of Life”.

Fast forward to 2019 where Political Correctness has completely taken over American politics AND the American Way of Life to the extent that there are those in public office who do not ascribe to swearing their allegiance to America which is a requirement to serve in public office.

Will Smith’s character named as Enemy of the State is not so far-fetched however in today’s society the state has become the enemy of the state. Government is both the savior and the villain of the American people. Even the American people themselves are not considered the enemy of the state when they verbalize disagreement or anger over illegal immigrants being handed free stuff at the expense of American taxpayers, who are excluded altogether.

Various state legislators approve millions of dollars to allow illegal immigrants free education, housing, food, medical and even social security benefits while refusing those same benefits to American citizens in need. Cities and municipalities bend over backwards allowing homeless immigrants to live in squalor on American streets without sanitation, water of even restrictions on trash. They live at the same level as they did back in their home countries and contribute nothing toward the betterment of themselves, their communities or the nation as a whole.

In many states there are immigrant being elected into public office and shadow police forces enforcing Sharia Law on American citizens while the Rule of Law and the Constitution is simply ignored. This is not “The American Way of Life” or the intent of the founders of this nation or the signers of the US Constitution.

What has been forgotten is that citizenship is a privilege many immigrants strive to attain after coming to America. They work hard at raising their families, running businesses and assimilating into American society while retaining a bit of their culture so their families know where they came from and what is important.

What has also been forgotten is that citizenship can be revoked and immigrants can be deported and even banned from reentry into the United States while losing their US held assets, homes and businesses?

We are seeing a number of federal and state officials failing to uphold their oaths of office, while becoming vocal at giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States, a treasonous offense worthy of prosecution. These individuals have become accustomed to speaking their minds in their local communities where distain for the government flows freely. They are blatantly unaware of the fact that their conduct is not acceptable even on the national scale.

The time for action is now. Legislators need to act as legislators; law enforcement as law enforcement; prosecutors as prosecutors and every single one has the personal responsibility to act professionally and with honor as they represent successes of the way of life in America – the American Dream. This nation was built with immigrants who went on to become citizens of the United States of America.

It takes strong leaders, men and women of character to take action and do the right thing because it is the right thing to do, disregarding criticism and focusing on the end result and failure is not an option.

In 1787 a lady asked Dr. Benjamin Franklin. “Well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy?”

Benjamin Franklin is reported to have replied, “A republic if you can keep it.”

We are not a monarchy, a democracy or simply a republic either. The United States of America is the only nation in the world that is a Constitutional-Republic where the Rule of Law is governed by the US Constitution, which was written based upon biblical principles.

There are some who ignore the Constitution and feel that they and they alone determine what is or isn’t the Rule of Law in America. Others want to change that which restricts their imposing undo power or privilege upon American citizens. Still others want to redefine how we elect the president by eliminating the Electoral College.

When we cease to abide by the US Constitution, ignore the Rule of Law and open this nation up to the whims of a few we will no longer be the Land of the Free or the Home of the Brave. We will have gone the way of Rome and other civilizations where greed outweighed common sense.

We are one nation under God. Without God we are nothing! – I am the Real Truckmaster!
