President Trump Gives Kim Jong Un a Pass

“All Cattle no Hat!”

This article is for all my friends who are still attacking President Trump and at the risk of ending our long and esteemed friendships I must ask – “Are you serious?”

What makes you think that because KJU met with Trump that he is no less or no more the same dictator he was before the meeting? More importantly how do you figure he “got a pass”? Did you not watch the summit? Not even a little?

Seriously my civilian and military buddies I thought you had more on the ball than that, but your statement baffles me and I seriously disagree. Your reasoning is only highlighted by Senator Chuck Schumer’s screwing up an old Texas saying by calling Trump “All cattle and no hat”. Ha Ha Ha!

So let me remind you that when Trump called KJU “Rocketman”, he was attacked by the left and the right for “getting us into a war with North Korea”, right? Then when Trump called KJU honorable for agreeing to meet in Singapore, he was attacked again for calling the terrible dictator honorable, right? When Trump cancelled the Singapore summit he was attacked still again for not keeping his word or worse. When Trump agreed once again to meet KJU in Singapore he was attacked for changing his mind or whatever the left could think of for agreeing one more time to meet.

Now after the summit where KJU was told (twice by Secretary Pompao prior to the summit) by Trump that Total, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization was the only option and once it was completed could lead to lessoning or removal of sanctions and normalizing relations between North Korea and the rest of the outside world is somehow “giving him a pass”, right?

No my friends the summit in Singapore was showing both the stick and the carrot. There was no “pass” given here. In fact the stick included current military training exercises with South Korea, in the face of North Korea which could very easily be used as punitive action if needed. The carrot is Singapore and what North Korea has missed out on becoming over their years of isolationism.

So tell me again how this is considered a pass? I’ll go one further, tell me since the end of Korean War hostilities and since President Truman, when was the last time an American president talked to the leader of the DPRK – About anything? I’m still waiting for an answer? – I am the Real Truckmaster!

After the Trump-Kim Summit What’s Next?

After The Trump-Kim Summit What’s Next?

On June 12th, 2018 the historic Singapore Summit between President Donald J. Trump and Leader Kim Jong Un of the DPRK agreed to denuclearize all weapons, stockpiles and factories in an agreement that would reduce or remove sanctions on his beleaguered government affecting millions of Koreans living north of the DMZ. It’s a fact that since the end of Korean War hostilities there has never been a declared end to that war.

By Leader Kim signing a document pledging to President Trump and to the United States the voluntary, total, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of North Korea just doesn’t make it happen.  There must be action and results.

This is a great first step and here is something to think about – never before has the President of the United States and the Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea ever sat down or met face-to-face to discuss North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Program or anything for that matter. This is a historical first for an American President, and a clear demonstration of the art of the deal by President Trump.

We must not get drawn into a false sense of security or think the nuclear threat is over, it is not. Before anything can change it will take action and it was President Trump who said it will take results on the part of Leader Kim and the DPRK.

Except for the meeting of the two leaders, we’ve been down this road with the DPRK before many times with KJU’s father and grandfather and each time the results have been betrayal of similar agreements by North Korea, resulting in sanctions which have hurt the people more than the government.

We can be hopeful that establishing a relationship between the two leaders of these two nations will lead to the action necessary to begin normalizing relations with the DPRK and the rest of the world.

The next steps are crucial and must begin with the DPRK and under close and verifiable supervision. The DPRK nuclear arsenal must be gathered from the four corners of North Korea, where they must be disassembles, loaded on ships for transportation to designated locations outside the DPRK. The equipment and factories must be totally dissembled or destroyed so as never to be usable again. All documentation must be collected, analyzed and then destroyed as well. An international team of inspectors must be given full and complete access to the entire nuclear program, arsenal and factories to insure this is done in a verifiable fashion. Once the process has been completed, then and only then will sanctions be lifted from the DPRK and international aid and assistance begin.

In the event of any deviation from this process must be met with military might (as needed) in order to bring the DPRK back to the negotiation table.

What is also hopeful is that the American people can lay aside their political differences to get behind this president in a show of national unity to see this as a truly historic event with worldwide consequences.

Americans do not have to “pledge allegiance to the Trump” nor even like the president or the actions which some find distasteful or bring up a foul taste in their mouths, but take out the mouthwash, swish it around a few times (2 minutes) then spit it out and move on.

I challenge the members of Congress to reconsider their present stance against President Trump in order to show the American people and the world that the United States of America is “one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. So help us God” (Sound familiar?) – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Back Story on North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Program

The Back Story on North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Program

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea as it turns out is a bit of a puzzle which has been going on for quite some time. American presidents have been dealing toward stopping the North Korean military nuclear program without any success since the early 1962 with President John F. Kennedy. Never has an American President conducted face-to-face talks with the DPRK leader to negotiate a Total, Verifiable and Irreversible De-Nuclearization of North Korea, until the historical Singapore Summit between President Donald J. Trump and Leader Kim Jong Un on June 12, 2018.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_states_with_nuclear_weapons

Eight countries have successfully detonated nuclear weapons. Five countries are considered Nuclear Weapon States (NWS) under the terms of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). In order of acquisition of nuclear weapons: USA, Russia, UK, France and China.

Since the NPT went into force in 1970, 3 countries were not parties to the treaty have conducted nuclear tests: India, Pakistan and North Korea (withdrew from the NPT in 2003).

Israel is generally understood to have nuclear weapons, but does not acknowledge it while maintaining a policy of deliberate ambiguity. It is estimated to possess between 75 and 400 nuclear warheads.

Countries that formerly possessed nuclear weapons: South Africa (developed, then disassembled before joining NPT and former Soviet republics: Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.

In 1963 the Soviet Union refused to help North Korea in developing nuclear weapons, as did the Chinese a bit later. Soviet engineers took part in construction of the Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center in North Korea and began conducting an IRT-2000 research reactor in1963, it became operational in1965, then upgraded to 8 MW in 1974. In 1979 North Korea began to build in Yongbyon a second research reactor, an ore processing plant and a fuel rod fabrication plant.

As the North Korean nuclear weapons program dates back to the 1980s, focusing on practical uses of nuclear energy and completion of a nuclear weapons development system, North Korea began to operate facilities for uranium fabrication and conversion and conducted high-explosive detonation tests.

In 1985 North Korea ratified the NPT but did not include the required safeguards agreement with the IAEA until 1992. In 1993 the IAEA concluded the North Korean declaration as incomplete, which they reported to the UN Security Council.

In 1994 the U.S. government signed an agreement to facilitate the supply of two light water reactors to North Korea in exchange for North Korean disarmament. The Agreed Framework fell apart in 2002 and Pakistan admitted that North Korea gained access to Pakistan’s nuclear technology in the late 1990s.

The U.S. accused North Korea of non-compliance and halted oil shipments. In 2003 North Korea withdrew from the NPT. In 2005 North Korea vowed to close the nuclear program.

On October 9, 2006 North Korea announced it had successfully conducted its first nuclear test with an underground explosion. On January 6, 2017 North Korea confirmed it had nuclear weapons.

On March 17, 2007 North Korea announced it was preparing to shut down its main nuclear facility. This was an agreement with a series of six-party talks: North Korea, South Korea, China, Russia, Japan and the USA which had begun in 2003. North Korea agreed to disable the nuclear facility in exchange for fuel aid and normalize talks with the USA and Japan. Aid was delayed from April to July, when it was confirmed the shutdown of the nuclear facility. This agreement fell apart in 2009 when North Korea launched a satellite.

In April 2009 North Korea became a full-fledged nuclear power and on May 25, 2009 a second nuclear test was conducted.

In February 2012 North Korea announced it would suspend uranium enrichment at the Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center and not conduct further tests of nuclear weapons while productive negotiations with the USA continued. This would include a moratorium on long-range missiles tests, and allowing IAEA inspectors to monitor operations. The USA prepared to ship important but limited humanitarian food aid to North Korea. In April 2012 North Korea conducted a long-range missile test and the food aid did not proceed.

In January 6, 2016 North Korea claimed to test a hydrogen bomb, which was a simulated 10 KT boosted nuclear device instead. On February 7, 2016 North Korea claimed to have put a satellite into orbit. A fifth nuclear test occurred on September 9, 2016 with an estimated 25 KT yield.

In 2017 North Korea test-launched two ICBMs and announced a further test of a hydrogen bomb.

What is clear is that North Korea has repeatedly sought outside help and once that has been achieved they have backed out of each peace agreement.

One aspect of this process that has changed was on June 12, 2018 in Singapore when Kim Jong Un met with President Donald Trump and his advisors who demanded a total dismantling, verification and removal of ALL nuclear weapons from North Korea, under threat of increased sanctions or military action.

What remains to be seen is whether this message has been effectively transmitted to the current regime in such a way that they live up to the agreement. The very lives of the people of North Korea, the entire Korean peninsula and the world hang in the balance.

There are those here in the USA and abroad that want North Korea to go back on their word or in some way violate the agreement so they can say, “Trump couldn’t make the deal stick.” I venture to say that as he has said in the past if he wasn’t sure about making the deal, he would have just walked away. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Case for a T4 Coalition

The Case for a T4 Coalition

The latest “news” reporting was about President Trump’s remarks to the G7 when he called them a Fools Trade coalition, then left the summit to meet with North Korea’s Kim Jung Un concerning denuclearizing the Korean peninsula.

It seems that our “allies” are only in it for the money! Their deep pockets are simply full of holes. Tariff’s on USA goods are what grease the wheels of their economy and at great expense to the American taxpayer. So think about it. America charges low tariffs while other nations charge considerably higher tariffs in return for US goods.

If that isn’t bad enough we have been the world police (often under the charter of the United Nations) and foot the bill. Who pays to transport US military and equipment to foreign soil? Even under the UN, US taxpayers?

What about our stabilizing forces on foreign soil? How much do we pay for US overseas bases and embassies? What does it cost to train and operate our military in other countries? Who foots the bill, US taxpayers?

What I propose is a global “Reset Button” like the one Obama and Hillary gave Russia, only one that works for America.

Since Germany no longer sees the USA as a reliable ally and the rest of the G7 could not get Trump to play in their sandbox (that we paid for) we should simply withdraw from the G7. Maintain the higher tariffs proposed by the president, but create our own coalition.

After the first ever summit with North Korea concludes the USA should create a Trump coalition and call it the “T”. In fact we could probably create allies with 3 nations who would like “free trade” with the United States right off the bat. We could begin with the T4 (Japan, South Korea, North Korea and the United States). Member states of the T4 would incur no tariffs between member states.

I bet that it wouldn’t take long for others to want in, say Israel, then China and Russia, and how many others? Free trade would benefit each other and boost the import and export of consumer goods, thereby helping the economies of each member state.

Without pulling any punches, America’s biggest issue would come from the American Congress, who seems to be all too happy letting the USA be sucker punched with outrageously high tariffs while charging peanuts in return. The congress is actively considering a bill to restrict the presidential power concerning tariffs. Couple that with the outspoken disunity of the Congresses lack of support for President Trump’s agenda as presented so clearly by John McCain (RINO – AZ) and his collogues in the Democrat Party it won’t take long.

Seriously, why is the USA the world’s piggy-bank or ATM with everyone having the same pin code, except the American taxpayers who foot the bill entirely without recourse? President Trump’s proposal on free trade would eliminate tariffs entirely between G7 member states and give everyone a level playing field. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

A Look Back on Benghazi, Libya

A Look Back on Benghazi, Libya

September 11, 2012 – U.S. Embassy Compound

Benghazi, Libya

What we know –

At 9:40 pm (local) on September 11, 2012 the U.S. Embassy complex in Benghazi, Libya was viscously attacked by Islamic militants who set fire to the buildings and then attacked the CIA Annex. At 11:00 pm (local) an unarmed U.S. drone arrives over Benghazi providing live feed of the attack which killed 4 Americans Ambassador Christopher J. Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods and wounded 2 more Americans. At 1:00 am (local) U.S. rescue team arrives in Benghazi from Tripoli and rescues 30 Americans.

It will soon be 6 years since the Benghazi attack and even after the Congressional hearings and reading thru various timeline and reports it is not clear where the breakdown occurred.

Clearly Obama administration placed the blame on an anti-Muslim video and even arrested the video’s creator. President Obama then called it an “Act of Terror”, but didn’t call it what it was “Terrorism”.

The Department of State was notified 20 minutes after the attack began, as the complex had been breached and a rescue team attempted to secure an aircraft in order to leave Tripoli and effect the rescue. Secretary Clinton was informed 4 ½ hours after the attack began that American’s needed to be evacuated. Hillary issues an official announcement condemning the attack and referring to the video, then sends email to Chelsea telling her it was an “Al Qaeda-like group” that attacked and killed Ambassador Stevens.

Beginning at 9:40 pm the CIA operators at the annex monitored requests for help and prepared to assist at the compound as the CIA base chief on the ground attempted to activate local Libyan security forces, yet held back CIA operators for 70 minutes grossly affecting the outcome. Almost 2 hours later embassy personnel are moved to the CIA annex, where the fighting continues. The fighting continued until almost 5:30 am at the CIA annex. The rescue team from Tripoli and Libyan forces moved survivors and KIA bodies to Benghazi airport and depart around 10:00 am. All survivors and KIA bodies were flown out of Tripoli around 7:00 pm (12 Sept) for Ramstein air base in Germany aboard C-17 aircraft.

The Pentagon activated the National Military Command Center 50 minutes after the attack began, even though the AFRICOM commander General Carter Ham upon being notified of the attack acted properly to order the diversion of a surveillance drone to hover over the Benghazi compound just 17 minutes after the attack began, he then began monitoring the situation from the NMCC at the Pentagon. The defense secretary and chairman of the JCS were not notified for 50 minutes due to having been in a pre-arraigned meeting with President Obama.

According to Pentagon officials all relevant commands and the four military branches were on a conference call roughly five hours after the attack began. The Pentagon has what is equivalent to counterterror SWAT teams nearby in Croatia (900 miles from Libya, and roughly 3 hours flying time) undergoing terrorist training, and once diverted they are heard overhead and on the radio net at Benghazi of not begin given permission to land. (This was later denied by Pentagon officials).

The Hill – 5-28-2015 by Ben Kamisar and Martin Matishak

http://thehill.com/policy/defense/243218-timeline-hillarys-benghazi-emails

The nearly 300 emails from Hillary Clinton released by the State Department last week are shedding new light on the administration’s mission in Libya and its response to the deadly terrorist attacks in Benghazi.

The emails include details on the work of Christopher Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya who died in the Benghazi siege, and offer a glimpse into Clinton’s concerns that she might have falsely attributed the 2012 assault to backlash against an anti-Muslim video.

I did read thru the Benghazi timeline with Fact Check dot Org as they bring forth the relevant facts in this case beginning with the State Department Timeline of Events https://www.factcheck.org/2012/10/benghazi-timeline/

What I have learned from reading the reports and timeline accounts in my opinion shifts the blame from what I thought was entirely Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s and spreading it equally on Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the JCS and ultimately to President Obama. It didn’t appear that this president took any type of leadership action, but when making his official announcement promised to use all available resources to punish those responsible.

The emergency response protocols which are designed to provide rapid response in the event of emergencies such as the one in Benghazi should have been a clear signal to bring on the rescue of Americans in distress, especially when the signal comes from an American ambassador. – I am the Real Truckmaster

On Hillary Clinton Accomplishments

 On Hillary Clinton Accomplishments

In a recent discussion with my Democrat friend who said that Hillary has done more good things for America than Donald Trump, so I challenged him to list Hillary Clinton’s accomplishments. He didn’t directly answer my challenge but said a Google search showed her accomplishments, so I went to Google to see for myself.

I stand corrected. Hillary Clinton has many accomplishments and although some of the websites list her as the one whom singlehandedly passed a number of bills in congress as a NY Senator. Aside from that I wanted to present and give credit where credit is due.

Hillary Clinton was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.

  • In 1965 she went to Wellesby College where she graduated with honors in political science.
  • She graduated in 1973 from Yale Law School where she got her Juris Doctor.
    • It was at Yale where she met and started dating Bill Clinton.
    • Hillary Clinton’s political activity can be traced back to Yale where she served on the Board of Editors of the Yale Review of Law and Social Action.
    • While at Yale she met and did her senior thesis on Saul Alinsky.

After graduation in 1973 she became a staff attorney at the Children’s Defense Fund and became a consultant for the Carnegie Council on Children. In 1974 she joined the impeachment inquiry staff of the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives during the Watergate scandal.

Bill and Hillary became the Clintons after marrying in 1975.

As the First Lady of Arkansas 1979 – 1990

  • Hillary joined the law faculty of the University of Arkansas.
  • Their daughter Chelsea was born in 1980.
  • Hillary founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families.
  • She served on the board of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
  • She started the Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youth.
  • Hillary was named Arkansas’ Woman of the Year in 1983
  • She was named Arkansas’ Young Mother of the Year in 1984.
  • She was named among the top 100 lawyers by the National Law Journal twice (1988 & 1991).

As FLOTUS  1991 – 1999

Hillary played a critical role in the passage of

  • The State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) and
  • The Adoption and Safe Families Act.
  • Hillary pushed her failed initiative known as Clinton Health Care which laid the foundation for the Affordable Care Act.

As Senator

  • In 2000 she became the first former First Lady to run for elected office and win in the state of New York.
  • Hillary endorsed bill to extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11
  • She endorsed bill to pay for city projects in response to 9/11.
  • She endorsed bill to assist land mine victims in other countries.
  • She endorsed bill to assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care.
  • She endorsed bill to designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the Wilderness Preservation System.
  • She passed resolutions to name courthouses after Thurgood Marshall and James L. Watson.
  • She passed resolutions to name post offices after John A. O’Shea and Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda.
  • She voted to designate 7 August 2003 as the National Purple Heart Recognition Day and swore to support its goals and ideals.
  • She swore to support the goals and ideals of the Better Hearing and Speech Month.
  • She passed resolutions to establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site.
  • She passed resolution to establish the 225th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Program.
  • She passed resolution to recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
  • She passed resolution to honor the respective lives and achievements of late Alexander Hamilton, Shirley Chisholm, John J. Downing, Brian Fahey and Harry Ford.
  • She announced running for the DNC nominee for the 2008 Presidential elections.
  • Lost to Barack Obama but was nominated to become Secretary of State.

As Secretary of State 2009 – 2013

  • In 2009 Hillary Clinton became the first former First Lady to become Secretary of State in the Obama Administration.
  • Hillary played a crucial role in improving ties with Russia by providing them with a “Reset Button”.
  • Her last-minute intervention led to the signing of the historic Turkish-Armenian accord.
  • She went into damage control in the aftermath of Cablegate, where diplomatic analysis from world leaders and the assessment of the leaders of host countries by US diplomats were made public by WikiLeaks.
  • Hillary visited Myanmar (Burma) laying the foundation for re-engagement of the Southeast Asian country. First time a high level American diplomat visited the country since 1955.
  • In 2012 she played a crucial role in negotiating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas with the help of Egypt.
  • Hillary hand-picked Chris Stevens to be Ambassador in Benghazi, Libya. During the 9/11 attack on the Embassy Annex, she failed to aid and protect the embassy staff resulting in the deaths of 4 Americans (including Ambassador Stevens) at the hands of terrorists.
  • She played an important role in tightening sanctions on Iran. (Cash to Iran?)
  • Hillary operated and maintained a private email server whereby she transmitted classified documents to unauthorized parties, damaging National Security and violating established protocols.
  • She was the most travelled Secretary of State visiting 112 countries.

The 2015 – 16 Clinton presidential campaign

  • The Clinton campaign manipulated media coverage data.
  • Received in advance debate questions and answers.
  • Renamed mid-American republicans as “a basket of deplorables” for not voting for her.
  • Shutting out Bernie Sanders to secure the DNC nomination.

After the 2016 Presidential election

  • Hillary Clinton has led the charge of the Democrat Party’s resistance movement against President Donald Trump.
  • She is traveling around the world on what appears as a “pity me” tour wondering “What Happened” (as the name of her book), unable to figure out how she lost the election

So for the past 34 years in the public limelight and making herself known on her quest for the highest office in the land, the presidency Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton knows politics and political action or activation and how it works to bring people together and how it divides entire societies.

I find it incredulous that she as SOS did not know about safeguarding national security and classified documents. “Losing” 34,000 emails by deleting them (her or her staff) does not make it as if they never were, and WikiLeaks was quick in letting the world know.

Nor did Hillary as SOS while putting forth the Obama administration’s foreign policy consider the legality of it. Hillary played an instrumental role in the delivery of US currency to Iran, Arms to ISIS in Syria, and Uranium One to Russia, giving the impression of collusion on many levels. Her failure during the Benghazi incident was a major black eye for the State Department and the Obama administration of which there is no excuse. Cleaning up after Cablegate should have made Hillary keenly aware of the pitfalls of failing to properly treat secret documents as they pertain to national security.

I agree that Hillary has done more to this country than President Donald Trump and she had been at it quite a bit longer. First as a Republican “Goldwater Girl”, then as a full-fledged Democrat activist Hillary has certainly made a name for herself. And according to the first one to beat her at her own game, Obama called her “The Most Qualified” for the job of president.

From Benghazi to Uranium One what I see is a woman who has still not come to terms with her run to the White House. It’s been reported that as First Lady of Arkansas Hillary was quick to cuss out her security detail and fire anyone who got in her way. The same was true as FLOTUS, she had little respect or time for others and nobody spoke out of turn around her. Hillary could say “you’re fired” faster than Donald Trump to her staff when they disappointed her.

Hillary Clinton was responsible for increasing security or closing down the embassy in Libya when requested by Ambassador Stevens at the embassy annex. Once it was under attack, the SOS should have insured that help was sent.

Hillary was directly responsible as was Barack Obama.

Orders to stand down didn’t just appear out of thin air and general officers relieved of command for attempting to deploy US forces to the aid of the embassy was not an accident either.

To put forth or allow a fake news story about a video, arrest the creator of that alleged video and during congressional hearings to say in part, “At this point what difference does it make now?” is like pouring water on a grease fire.

Every military trainee is taught that you don’t abandon your comrades. You don’t leave anybody behind.

Something to think about, the US Embassy in Libya had been attacked earlier. Ambassador Stevens had been appointed to Libya and the embassy staff occupied the embassy annex in Benghazi. Tension in the area was high, other embassies had been closed and even the Red Cross had left Libya. What purpose could it serve to keep the annex open? When attack began requests for help were ignored and rapid response was repeatedly told to stand down. Responsibility rested ultimately with POTUS and with the SOS.

It has been almost 5 ½ years and still being covered up.

When the Obama security team gathered in the war room and watched the take down of Bin Laden it is so inconceivable for them to not know about and attempt to rescue our people in Benghazi. (There were live feeds from unarmed drones overhead)!

Unacceptable!

Many American’s either don’t know or don’t care, but how can American patriotic Veterans stand up and defend Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton or Barack (Barry) Hussain Obama for the harm they have ultimately done to this country? They definitely knew better!

Accountability and justice are what is needed. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

When Our Nation Called

AO Remember Mark O Olson

05-27-2018

When Our Nation Called

Tomorrow is the day when America’s fallen soldiers are brought to the nation’s remembrance. It’s been said that we should not mourn their loss, but thank God that they lived.

From Iwo Jima to the River Kwai; the Frozen Chosen to Khe Sanh and the Hanoi Hilton; Somalia to Panama; Kuwait to Bagdad and Afghanistan; Fort Hood to Arkansas; and to VA facilities nationwide let us not forget the sacrifices given for service to God and to Country by our brothers and sisters and their families.

There are just too many battles, conflicts and wars to list here, but one that has gotten little to know attention is the “Battle of Orange” taking the lives of our Veterans every single day, so let me focus on one unrecognized and unknown Veteran.

When our nation called a young man named Mark Olson, from Montana, like so many others joined the military during the height of the Vietnam War, joined the U.S. Army. His training and skills took him to Southeast Asia where he served as an army engineer in Northeastern Thailand from 1968 – 1970.

This army engineer held a variety of jobs as a plumber, material handler and even working with a covert community action unit taking him into the jungles and at times “across the fence” into Laos. The nature of his varied jobs brought him into contact with “Orange” and other herbicides, which at the time had no special significance.

After the military life carried this army Veteran to many locations and many jobs and his health began to change, even his attitude changed and he began treatment under the VA for high blood pressure and a type of diabetes that has been attributed to the exposure to herbicides. Additional treatment began for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which seemed to help. Linking up with online Thailand Veterans groups gave him a new purpose, assisting Veterans and researching herbicide exposure on US military facilities in Thailand during the Vietnam War.

Mark’s story is one echoed across our nation as Veterans die from exposure to herbicides which at first our nation said were not used, around troops who “were not there” in a war being successfully won until lost by public opinion.

Mark’s battle is over now. It’s been two long years since the cumulative effects of the herbicide exposure (which the VA denied his claims of presumptive exposure) coupled with the PTSD took him from us in 2016, a belated casualty of the Vietnam War. Many came home already dead from the friendly fire of “The Battle of Orange”.

Senate S-2105 and House HB-4843 are in the Veterans Committees of Congress today as an attempt to rectify CFR 38 with wording to include Thailand Veterans of the Vietnam War who suffer the effects of herbicide exposure. (Contact your Congressmen and Senators today and ask for their support of these bills). – I am the Real Truckmaster!

America First or Not At All

America First or Not At All

That seems to be the predominant train of thought with today’s politicians. Is it Patriotism or Nationalism?

How many American’s get up in the morning and decide today I’m going to take a new approach to life? Today I’m going to look for ways to disrespect my family and friends. Today I’m going to the store to spend the most money on the worst products, goods and services.

Today I’m going to make my family last on my list of priorities. How long do you think that would last? How long before your family members would come to you and ask just what do you think you’re doing? What about your friends? How long before you wouldn’t have any friends left? How long before your bank account would be at a negative balance? Maybe then the bank would feel sorry for you and add money to your account for no reason?

We have had a host of politicians who have gone out upon the world stage to trash the United States of America. Traditionally in the United Nations our representatives have tried to blend in when it comes to difficult decisions, especially when it pertains to America’s allies such as Israel. America has simply not wanted to “rock the boat”.

Our national leaders have openly expressed to the world that the United States of America has been a “Bad Boy” when it comes to defending our allies and our interests abroad, and we are sorry and will not do that again. I’m surprised that the Stars and Stripes have not been replaced by the “Rainbow” flag.

America has been in a transitional state of flux. We have eliminated God from our nation. We have legalized the killing of the innocent through abortion, while lambasting other “third world nations” for the genocide they commit.

Abortion is our national disgrace before Almighty God.

It is in America’s interest for our national leaders to place AMERICA FIRST. When they succeed, America succeeds. America is a nation of immigrants from virtually every other country in the world. They come here to safely raise their families and to live the American Dream. America is truly blessed by these hard working men and women.

Entry into America is not a guarantee, it is a privilege. Those who apply must pass rigid background checks and demonstrate their commitment to assimilate into and become productive members of American society or they must show justification for obtaining refugee status from their country of origin. Failing to meet the entry standards they should return to their country of origin or apply elsewhere.

America has a self-image problem. Many American’s think they are better than anyone else. Some Americans literally and figuratively hate this country and everything it stands for and cannot bear to see our nation succeed.

I have a solution or recommendation:

American citizens who are ashamed of being in America should leave. I mean they should renounce their US Citizenship and leave permanently, never to return again.

Politicians who run for and are elected to political official are sworn into office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. Once they decide not to obey that oath they should be removed from office and barred from holding an elected office ever again. Those who choose to disavow allegiance to the United States should renounce their citizenship and seek refuge in another country where they will be welcomed with open arms.

Politicians who commit treasonous acts against the United States should be tried and convicted for treason.

Patriotism is not synonymous with Nationalism.

American patriotism is love for the United States and for what it stands – the Land of the Free. Arms opened wide in acceptance of those who truly want to become enmeshed into the fabric of American society. There is no other system of government like it on the earth.

Nationalism is placing a country above every other country and blindly following the dictates of a country’s leader while racially, socially and economically dividing and eliminating those who are just not “good enough”, as was done in Nazi Germany during World War II. Nationalism is walking on the backs of others who are under total control of the government.

American politics has two predominant political parties. The Democrat Party which today identifies with fascist and communist ideologies of people like Saul Alinsky and others who feel that individuals are just not “smart enough” to handle their own affairs. In their view only the government can take care of individual families and businesses. According to the Democrat Party America is a failing nation and needs the government to provide “Free Stuff” like food, shelter, education and medical at no cost to everyone. The costs will be paid for by hard working Americans and successful businesses who will incur heavy tax penalties or fines.

The Republican Party of today is the party of the working class people. They are realists who know that less government and lower taxes which mean better and a more productive economy. They encourage common sense and innovation. Medical must be affordable to enable families to obtain necessary treatment. Education must be accessible for all, and must prepare students with real world job skills.

There is no perfect political party.

It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to look at what’s going on across the nation and in the media.

President Trump has placed America First, at home and abroad. His administration represents the United States and reinforces his agenda and American foreign policy.

American’s must return to the belief in Almighty God as the reason this nation was formed.

American’s must teach and model respect for ourselves and for others.

American’s must come together as one, it’s called Patriotism.

American’s must place America First. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

School Shootings vs Gun Control

School Shootings vs Gun Control

In the past few days and weeks things have gotten crazy. Our children are not safe in schools, our government is not providing guidance to change the environment in the schools, and our constitution and our second amendment are under attack.

I decided to do a bit of research to determine what is happening in our schools and what can be done about it. I have taken a look at the basic facts on school shootings since early 2015. What I find is alarming.

We need to do a major relook at how our schools are protecting our children. We need to find ways to get ahead of the learning curve on school safety. Let’s look at a couple of things America is already doing. We secure our airports, military bases and even our prisons with common sense and simple procedures that could very easily be implemented in our schools.

  • Enclose our schools and playgrounds with security fencing (walls), using a single point of entry equipped with stationary metal detectors.
  • Equip our schools with trained and armed school security personnel (resource officers) who are either on duty or retired law enforcement, prior service military personnel or in some cases teachers who are trained and certified in fire arm safety.
  • Enforce dress codes and see thru security back packs.
  • Look closer at school bullying and conduct education and counseling when appropriate.
  • Equip classrooms with low cost security tools to stop an intruder.
  • Adopt active shooter drills and instruct teachers and staff on proper active shooter drill procedures and actual active shooter reactive actions.

This list is not all inclusive, but gives one a sense of what can be implemented immediately, and over a short period of time.

In my research I excluded institutes of higher learning (colleges and universities) as these institutions are comprised of adults and carries totally different school responsibilities.

Over this 3 year period (2015 – 2018) there have been 38 school shootings (4 – 2015; 14 – 2016; 7 – 2017; & 14 – 2018), with only 2 Mass school shootings both in 2018. In most cases the shooters are between 12 and 18 years of age, well below the age limit for lawful gun ownership. Some cases involved bringing a firearm to school and either showing it off or using it to settle a score. Where the shooter was over 19 years of age involving domestic violence finding its way onto the school campus or at after hour’s extracurricular events

The first mass school shooting was the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL on February 14, 2018 where 19 year old Nickolas Cruz walked into the school he had been expelled from carrying a semiautomatic rifle. After activating the fire alarm he began shooting, in the end he killed 17 people and wounded 14 others. Then as students began exiting the school he simply walked out and away without being stopped or questioned. He was later arrested by Coral Springs Police.

What was apparent was that the Broward County Sheriff’s deputy assigned to the school as a resource officer simply stood outside the school until the shooting stopped, as did other sheriff’s deputies who arrived on scene. Because they had not secured the scene they prevented EMS personnel and other first responders from entering the school to provide aid to the wounded and dying.

What became clear in the aftermath was when a signed contract surfaced between the Parkland School Board, the Broward County Sheriff’s office and the Florida Attorney General’s office where students who committed crimes in the county would not be charged in order to maintain the flow of state and federal school grant funds into the school district.

Immediately there was a cry out beginning with Parkland and echoed across the nation in the media and among the leftist Democrats about Gun Control and subsequent confiscation of guns from lawful gun owners and against the National Rifle Association (NRA) inferring they are behind the gun violence.

That is like having a newly licensed driver go on the road and when involved in a traffic accident. Investigators uncover the newly licensed driver recently completed driver education training, so the cry goes out to ban all driver education courses nationwide. Doesn’t make sense does it?

My research has discovered that the second Mass school shooting was on May 18th, 2018 at the Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas where 17 year old student Dimitrios Pagourtzis walked into the school carrying a concealed shotgun and a handgun and after activating the fire alarm began shooting in the arts department killing 10 and injuring another 10 before being placed into custody by one of the school resource officers. The other resource officer was shot while engaging the student and counted among the 10 injured. A teacher was among the dead.

What is strikingly similar in both Mass shootings was that the shooter walked into the Parkland school without raising suspicion while carrying a large duffle type bag to conceal his weapons. One shooter walked into Santa Fe while wearing a trench coat to conceal his weapons in 90+ degree weather.

An interesting side note was reported in Santa Fe that 3 months ago the school received a threat about a mass school shooting. Although nothing happened the school practiced emergency drills with an active shooter scenario. The fact that both shooters activated the fire alarms indicating to the students it was just another fire drill, whereby the shooters simply selected their targets of opportunity.

A major difference in this second Mass school shooting was that school resource officers reacted immediately and ran toward the shooting to engage the shooter at the risk of their own lives, something not seen at Parkland. Once again the cry goes out to ban weapons and blame is placed on the NRA and on President Trump for not doing enough after Parkland.

Of the other 37 school shooting incidents some schools had resource officers who engaged and neutralized the shooters, many others did not and only one school recommending the introducing and use of stationary metal detectors.

There is a lot of talk about legislating “assault weapons” when in fact assault weapons were banned some time ago.

There is talk about legislative changes speeding up the process for background checks. Speeding up background checks is not the answer either.

School shooters have largely been minors who don’t have jobs that would allow them to spend hundreds of dollars on legal gun purchases. Often they have obtained their weapons by way of other crimes (larceny and robbery). And legislating gun control aimed at stopping them from obtaining firearms is really dumb.

I think instead of demonizing the NRA, one should work out a plan of gun safety classes beginning in middle school and educating our children about safe handling of many types of weapons as we did in schools not that long ago.

Identifying and counseling students who are involved in school bullying can also go a long way to help both the bully and the victim. Self-defense classes are a great way of building up self-confidence and enhancing self-esteem.

We need educators, law enforcement personnel and legislators who can think “outside the box” and find creative ways to make schools safe and child safety a priority (not just words).

So You Hate President Donald J. Trump (Updated)

So You Hate President Donald J. Trump

I get it, you despise Trump. You detest everything he stands for. You don’t like his smile, or his “fake” hair or his fortune, his fame or his having his own airplane. You don’t like his family (his kids or his famous model wife).

For you it’s personal. You’re a registered voter and nobody is going to tell you who you can or cannot vote for, right? Even though you’re a life-long diehard Republican you didn’t vote for him. I said I get it.

If you’re a diehard Democrat and you wouldn’t go against party. Your best option to keep things the same was with Hillary Rodham Clinton. She was a real woman running for president and her shot at it was stolen by all those Republican voters. Did I get it right?

Well if Barry had been able to run again everything would have been all right. The world would have feared us and Donald Trump would still be on the Apprentice and not even an afterthought. Isn’t that the way you see it?

Well the election of 2016 happened and the world fell apart. Donald Trump is a nothing burger who is going to get us into World War Three. Trump’s war on undocumented aliens is uncalled for, and that stupid wall is unnecessary and a waste of money that Mexico was supposed to pay for right? Trump is trying to stop refugees from the Middle East who are fleeing from oppression and want to come here to live the American dream.

The statue of liberty stands for the right of EVERYONE to come here if they want to, right? We welcome everyone to come to the land of liberty and share in the bounty of America, and Trump is denying their RIGHT to be here!

Don’t forget Trump’s treatment of women. He made fun of and called her “Crooked” Hillary. He even called a sitting member of Congress “Low IQ” Maxine. He looks on women with lustful eyes. His attitude about women demeans them and he views them as sexual toys (i.e. Stormy Daniels) or property, right? We must not overlook the fact that Trump hates blacks and thinks they are animals. What about Hispanics? Trump employees them in his properties and exploits them to make a profit. Trump must think pretty lowly of Asians too, because he called one of their leaders “Little Rocket Man” and has waged a tariff war on the Chinese and even with our allies in Europe.

But the biggest reason of all that you hate Trump is that he acts like he’s a Christian and even prays from the Oval Office. What a hypocrite! He lies every time he opens his mouth. There’s no way that God would allow a man like Trump to ruin our country. No way should Trump be president. Does that about sum it up?

Wait, what about his lack of military service. During the Vietnam War wasn’t Trump kept out of the military for bone spurs, so he could make millions? Now he isn’t fit to become Commander in Chief.

Oh yeah I almost forgot, Hollywood doesn’t like Trump. California hates him too. The mainstream media has his number and makes sure that everyone knows exactly what’s going on with the president. And the Democrats around the nation have organized into a giant community action group to resist anything Trump says or does.

Trump’s legacy is going to be that he tried dismantling the legacy of Barack Obama and all that the Democrats have worked to achieve for YOU the American citizens!

I’ve tried to sum up all the reasons I’ve heard as to why patriotic Americans like to hate President Donald J. Trump, so if I’ve missed a few – I’m sorry. I’ll do better next time.

I don’t speak for anyone else but myself when I say this, “I voted for Donald J. Trump”.

It’s been well over a year and “I still support Donald J. Trump”.

I didn’t vote for a “Sissy” to replace one in the White House. I didn’t want another politician who would say things to get elected so that it would be business as usual in Washington.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again here. I did not take Donald J. Trump as a serious candidate. I didn’t think that with the huge field of candidates on the Republican Party ticket, that Trump would be the last man standing when the smoke cleared at the GOP.

That being said, I know that no other candidate, once elected could have held up to the scrutiny and misinformation war that the extreme left has conducted against an elected and sitting President of the United States.

Other presidents have been treated poorly during their administration and one was impeached because he fired his Secretary of War, so it’s no big shock that the left cries impeachment because President Trump fired members of his White House Staff or replaced Cabinet members, at his discretion.

Let me address many of your concerns about Donald J. Trump.

I’m not from New York and don’t know very much about him other than what I’ve seen on TV or read about online. I have read and heard that many have expressed issues with him and his personality. He’s too cocky, too self-righteous, too sure of himself and he attacks anyone who disagrees with him. I’d have to agree that Donald Trump has a personality that either draws you too him nor away from him. Those who know him well know that failure is not an option with him. That’s not to say he hasn’t failed because he has failed and miserably at times. Getting knocked down in the business world means Donald Trump gets back up and back into the game more determined than before.

This much I know that Donald Trump is a scrapper. Anyone who followed his conduct in military school knows that he took up boxing and took a liking to it. He most likely had no trouble holding his own on the street or in the business world where confrontation is a way of doing business and he has been quite successful amassing a fortune in his real estate and construction dealings.

For most of his adult life Donald Trump has been a self-made man with fortune that would make your head spin. Admittedly he has been a womanizer and as a younger man was often seen with a beautiful woman on each arm. That sort of comes with the territory for a man of means. Money can’t buy everything, but it can buy a lot, if the price is right.

Donald Trump is a man who failed in his first marriage, but didn’t let that stop him from teaching his children from an early age what it means to have a good work ethic and keep their word. His current marriage is a great one and he treats her like the queen she is, his queen and our First Lady.

There have been several attacks on the character of Donald Trump. What we’ve seen over the past year are attacks the like of which have fallen lesser men. The problem with these accusations of sexual misconduct comes with the timing and manor of each one. Women have been paid to come forward and publicly accuse the president of sexual misconduct from a time during his past where it “fit” the narrative of the so called victim. It matters not whether true or not, it simply came forward as a diversion to offset and discredit the president and his efforts at keeping his campaign promises.

The pushback from Congress has been spearheaded by vocal Democrat members of the Congressional Black Caucus and taken up by the media and spontaneous public demonstrations which are in fact organized and paid public riots designed to divide the nation away from the president and his agenda.

There is still leaks and acts of subversion which tend to undermine the president, and cause public outcry and I’ll be if you ask the participants why they are participating they will spiel the Democrat Party mantra to “Impeach Trump, He’s a Liar”.

If you look at how Donald Trump treats women, include his wife, daughters and daughters-in-laws then take a look at the “glass ceiling” that has been broken by the Trump Administration by placing women in key White House Staff and Cabinet positions. These are not simply women, but educated, competent women who are a force to be reasoned within the administration. Donald Trump does not hate women, of any color, heritage or background, nor does he discriminate against them.

Donald Trump says what he means and means what he says. He does not tolerate substandard performance in those around him or in his administration. His business model for government is no different than for his corporation. Competence moves up, incompetence gets dropped, only with government it’s more difficult to just let someone go based on substandard performance.

For those who are stuck on his lack of military service as a reason he shouldn’t be Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces I ask you to consider this.

Of presidents since World War II name a president

  • Who served in the military during WWII?
  • Who served in the military during the Korean War?
  • Who served in the military (active or guard) during the Vietnam War?
  • Who was drafted and decided to dodge the draft and flee to Europe?
  • Who went to school as a foreign student, but did not serve in the US military?

During the presidential campaign of 2016 how many candidates running for President had previously served in the military? One candidate married a draft dodger, who was later pardoned by a president that never served in the military. So your objections on military service don’t hold water.

I personally know of individuals who tried dodging the draft during the Vietnam War by joining the National Guard and they along with their NG unit were deployed to Vietnam. I know individuals who tried enlisting but were medically classified as unfit for military service. And I along with many others avoided the draft by enlisting in the military during the Vietnam War and made a career of our service.

Every day President Trump fights against the actions of the extreme left in order to fulfill the campaign promises he made to ME. He has fought to dismantle Obamacare; get my country out of unfair trade agreements; create a climate of change which brings American businesses back to America; Creates jobs where more Americans are working again; Changing the climate of the state welfare system, encouraging recipients to go to work instead; Securing our southern border; Strengthening our Armed Forces; Supporting Law Enforcement; even moved our Embassy to Jerusalem (as other presidents have promised in the past); while leveling the playing field between other nations and placing America first.

What I see is President Donald J. Trump doing exactly what I sent him to do in Washington – Drain the Swamp and Make America Great Again with the help of Almighty God, to whom nothing is impossible.

I give thanks to God for a warrior president who can stay focused on what is important to America. I am the Real Truckmaster!
