VETERANS IN PUBLIC SERVICE

05/11/2018

VETERANS IN PUBLIC SERVICE

When we serve it is with honor and integrity placing others before ourselves. We take the “Oath” seriously and when one of our own fails to realize that oath we are among the first to speak out. This may be hard for some to take but Veterans tend to hold other Veterans accountable especially when they are in public service. We don’t always agree. We have a number of Veterans serving as mayors, governors, representatives, senators and cabinet level positions. We have so many Veterans who have served and with honor, while others not so much.

I’m going to address two prominent Veterans who have served both honorably in the armed forces and as United States Senators and/or cabinet level positions where their public service has been tainted and not in the interests of nation or the Constitution.

Senator John McCain is a former officer in the United States Navy, a Vietnam Veteran and a former POW. During the 2012 election John McCain ran for president and I voted and supported him wholeheartedly. In recent years what I have noticed is that when it comes to legislation or presidential appointments John McCain, a Republican, has forsaken his political roots and with blatant disregard for the Constitution has sided multiple times with the leftist Democrats is openly resistance to President Trump. It is time for long time Senator John McCain to resign and return to Arizona where he can live out his days as a private citizen.

I don’t expect politicians to vote for the sake of a party line vote. What I want are politicians who are taking care of American and representing the constituents who voted them in. I do expect that personal differences should not place an unnecessary burden on the nation. That’s another reason for term limits. Anyone who spends his “career” in congress has been there too long. They taste the power and often let it go to their head as they amass a huge amount of wealth “serving the people”. That is not even close to the definition of public service.

Secretary John Kerry is a former officer in the United States Navy and a Vietnam Veteran. After leaving military service John Kerry publicly protested against the Vietnam War and in effect against the very men and women who continued to serve honorably in the War. John Kerry, a Democrat, became a US Senator and ran for President. John Kerry replaced Hillary Clinton as President Obama’s Secretary of State and brokered the failed Iran Deal that President Trump recently withdrew the US out of. After leaving public service John Kerry blatantly and without regard for the Constitution, went behind the scenes and openly conducted shadow diplomacy, advising representatives of an enemy state to disregard any demands or statements from the President of the United States, because President Trump wouldn’t be in office much longer. If that is not treason I don’t know what is! It’s time for the FBI to arrest John Kerry for violation of the Logan Act and let him spend his days looking out from the windows of a place like GITMO!

Officers in the military are often referred to as Officers and Gentlemen, but in my opinion, these two are not the examples of either term. They have tasted absolute power and as it has been written absolute power corrupts absolutely.

In the military people mess up, and those who do are often faced with violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Those who mess up big time are often dishonorably discharged from the military and lose many of the benefits of having performed honorable military service.

When a public servant messes up the voters can often voice their displeasure at the voting booth. When members of congress (House or Senate) openly obstruct, resist or impede the President of the United States and do so without cause other than the fact that the president’s last name is Trump, they are disgracing the office they hold, and to the people who placed them in office.

When public servants violates federal law and disregard the very basis for federal law our law of the land which is the Constitution it is imperative that prompt and swift action be taken by the Attorney General and the Department of Justice agencies. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

A “Dentist” in the White House

dentisttrump image

A “Dentist” in the White House

If you’re like me you hate going to the dentist. Maybe it’s because of the pain or that “drilling” sound when he starts getting to work. Sticker shock sets in when you check out at the front desk and are handed the bill. The pleasant thing is now the pain is gone and you hurry to get away. In my opinion President Trump is likened to a dentist. Nobody likes the dentist, but everyone can appreciate and see the results of his work.

Donald Trump is someone you either love or your hate. His personality, his mannerisms and his seemingly blatant self-infatuation turn a lot of people off and that’s OK.  During the campaign Trump made a number of campaign promises. They are like a list hanging on his refrigerator which he has been systematically checking them off:

  • Stopping DACA – Check
  • Pulling out of TPP – Check
  • Tax Reform – Check
  • Incentives for corporations to stay in the US – Check
  • Fair Trade Agreements with foreign countries – Check
  • Build up our military – Check (working on it)
  • Support Law Enforcement – Check
  • Secure our borders – Check
  • Stimulus Bill – Check
  • Build the Wall – Check (working on it)
  • Mexico paying for the Wall – (It will happen)
  • Obamacare – (working on it)
  • Improving Public Education – (working on it)
  • Rebuilding infrastructure – (working on it)
  • Increasing US Oil Production – (working on it)
  • Decreasing US Dependence on foreign oil production – (working on it)
  • Pulling out of the Iran Nuclear Deal – Check
  • Returning unspent stimulus money to taxpayers – (working on it)
  • Return of American political prisoners from North Korea – Check

We like to think that President Trump is dismantling President Obama’s legacy piece by piece, but in reality it is taking bad governmental decisions and replacing them with better business decisions.

Barack Obama was a good and experienced community organizer, and in the Oval Office he continued organizing. In fact he seemed to exploit the constitutional powers of the Executive Office and when Congress did not follow his lead, he would “rule” by Executive Order, stating he had the power of the pen. Many of those decisions were simply bad decisions and were bad for America.

Using what I call “Chicago” politics, America was being changed into a massive welfare state, where the poor and disadvantaged were encouraged to get on welfare, food stamps and given “free stuff” that would satisfy their wants, but keep them dependent on government.

Donald Trump has been a good and highly successful businessman, and in the Oval Office he continues to think thru situations as either good for America or bad for America. He has placed “America First” as his mantra, and his desire is to “Make America Great Again”.

The pushback has been immediate and intensive by the liberal left, and by the media. There has been an extensive miss-information campaign which has focused on past or non-existent deeds while ignoring presidential accomplishments.

Have you noticed that the left focuses on sexual “bomb” announcements as a means of stirring up American voters and attempting to shift the focus away from what is really important to America?

This tact normally works on politicians who are involved in unethical and illegal behavior. They become political fodder and simply fade away.

Since Donald Trump is not your typical politician, nor is he involved in unethical or illegal behavior, he simply “reminds” America almost on a daily basis of what is being done and what should be the proper focus of the national media. Just like with the dentist everyone talks trash about him but rarely gives credit to that wonderful smile he worked to create.

Many think the decisions made by Donald Trump are rash or un-thought out. I say not so. His decision process includes gathering information, talking to those who are subject matter experts, and quite a bit of behind the scenes consideration. But when he announces to the world or to the nation his intentions he has already considered many options and has focused on one specific solution. We’ve seen this on the recent stimulus bill and on the Iran Deal, where he possibly waited until announcing his decision before actually deciding.

What I see in President Donald Trump is someone who is not afraid to make those tough decisions and stands behind that decision. America needs this “dentist” more than they need a political baby kisser who promises the moon in order to get the votes, but fails to deliver! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

California Gun Control and Other Matters

Calex 2017

California Gun Control and Other Matters

California leads the nation down the path to insanity.

It has become obvious that the democratic citizens of California need a reality check.

The natural beauty of the state, bordering the Pacific Ocean is no match for the mindless bullying of a democratically controlled state legislature and a democratic governor.

Sanctuary state and city status has not helped the citizens of California, but has openly invited undocumented and illegal aliens, including MS-13 gang members into the state.

The recent legalization of marijuana was looked simply as a way to increase the states bankrupt coffers.

California has recently passed a number of state “laws” which attempt to control corporate savings from federal tax reform and add that to the state treasury.

The sale of Bibles in California is now illegal.

The ownership of assault weapons by private individuals is now illegal and on the verge of mandatory surrender of automatic weapons or face confiscation, fines and prison time for refusal to comply.

A proposal to prohibit the manufacture of these “weapons of war” is being pushed by members of a California democratic legislature who fail to consider that the weapon of choice for gang members and other bad guys has been the AK-47 which is not manufactured or purchased legally in the United States or in California. It would appear that thinking through legislative proposals to logical conclusions has never been considered?

The push for CALEXIT (California succession from the United States) if adopted will leave Californians with absolutely no recourse for regaining common sense in state government, as the sought after “Republic of California” will leave the citizens standing high and dry as a legally high and lawless society.

It is time for conservatives to become politically active in an effort to replace illogical politicians at the ballot boxes across the state, and across the nation. Get away from “party-line thinking”, and look at what is good for America and its citizens.

The one thing that separates the United States from EVERY OTHER COUNTRY in the world is our Constitution that separates the powers of government and protects the rights of our citizens. This document was based upon the principles set forth in the Bible and the notion that all men are created equal by and before God whom we place our trust. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Caravan Has Arrived at Tijuana, Mexico

the caravan

Breaking News

The Caravan Has Arrived at Tijuana, Mexico

Many have watched the special documentary on TV where migrants have crossed Mexico riding on top of trains bound for Mexican border towns near the US border. It’s heart breaking to know that once they arrive at the border they do not have any legal documentation allowing them entry into the United States. Many will pay guides “Coyotes” to get them safely across the border without being detected by US Border Patrol agents, and often will be abandoned in the desert to “find their way” without food or water.

We have seen humanitarian minded people staging food and bottled water in desert oasis’ to be found by those who have crossed illegally. This has been going on for a number of years until now it has been called a pilgrimage like the one to Mecca.

In the news today thousands of migrants traveling from Honduras have arrived at Tijuana, Mexico with the intent to “crossover” into the United States and claim asylum from gang violence and persecution by the Honduran government.

It has also been reported that at least two lawyers from California based organizations have entered Mexico with the intent to give advice and inform the migrants of their “rights” under US law, and possibly how to evade or answer when questioned as to why they should be given asylum. These lawyers may in the course of their labor be in fact breaking the law by their actions.

The Department of Homeland Security has been instructed by President Trump not to let these hordes of people crossover into the United States. There stands the dilemma. What to do? Let them in or keep them out?

Let us pause for a moment. Much of the civil unrest and persecution of Honduran civilians has come from the MS-13 gangs. They attack, intimidate and kill forcing their way on these unprotected people. So naturally the people are trying to get away from the gangs and raise their families safely elsewhere. That’s what families do, they adapt and survive, even if it means moving to a foreign land. The Honduran government (police and army) are unable to bring these gangs under control, even though they arrest and imprison hundreds of MS-13 gang members in Honduras.

What we are seeing in the United States are MS-13 gangs operating as they have in Honduras preying on the very people who’ve sought to get way from the violence. As our law enforcement gang units are increasing the pressure and taking down the MS-13 and other gangs, just recently MS-13 has instructed their members to begin assassinating police officers like they’ve done in Honduras.

You might ask, “How did these MS-13 gangs get here?” There is no easy answer, but many have come in disguised as migrants fleeing oppression in their home country Honduras. Others came in under DACA. Still others came across with the coyotes, and made their way north and settling in migrant communities across the country, to begin their reign of terror here in the United States.

Here is a bit of trivia. What countries are between Honduras and the United States? How did these migrants make it to the US border without being challenged, stopped or detained at the borders of El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize or Mexico?

Have you or anyone you know driven from the US thru Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica to Panama? Did you or they have any problems by just waving at the border guards and cross without having travel documents (passports and Identification) checked thoroughly and often exchange money for the “privilege of passing thru those border gates? I think not.

So how did these migrants fleeing for their lives without any type of documentation make it so far in their quest for freedom?

Why did these migrants not settle in any one of the countries they passed thru? They speak the same language, maybe variation in dialects, but Spanish is a universal language of many North, Central and South American countries.

Why did the governments of these 5 or 6 Central American countries not step in and render aid and assistance in providing a safe refuge for these persons?

Lastly, although many people from many nations around the world want to come to the United States and live out the American dream, it is not their “Right” to come here. For those who cross the border illegally, it is not their “Right” to be allowed to stay here, unless they apply for legal immigration status or asylum in accordance with US law.

Being allowed into the United States is a privilege that is afforded to a select few individuals who can demonstrate their ability to become productive US citizens in the process which vets them with a thorough criminal background check and/or investigation to insure they are who and what they claim to be.

It is the responsibility of the United States Government to secure the borders, regulate and enforce immigration laws and to detain and prevent the unlawful intrusion into the United States.

When members of the United States Congress fail to make comprehensive changes to immigration laws, it is not their constitutional right or responsibility to attempt to prevent any government agency from enforcing the laws of the United States.

It is up to the American people to not let the false narratives and fake news stories to invoke sympathetic feelings of guilt when it comes to immigration.

When someone enters into the United States properly they are responsible for following our nation’s laws and to insure they maintain a legal immigration status or US citizenship. Failure to do so may entail fines, imprisonment and/or deportation. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Land of Opportunity

Land of Opportunity

It’s well known that the United States is the land of opportunity and many come here searching for the American Dream, as immigrants have done for well over 240+ years. If you’re willing to work hard, do your best success will be your reward, right?

There is no universal “right” to enter this country. Entry is a privilege that should be extended to those who desire to adapt and contribute to our society, without regard to social economic status.

During the last 4 years of the Obama administration the perverted vision of the American Dream has turned into Obama’s Dreamers. Fueled on by Democratic lawmakers like Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer those who entered the United States territory continue to be rewarded with free housing, free medical, free food, free education and lots of other freebies that is being paid for entirely by American taxpayers.

When given a heads up by President Trump to take care of the illegal immigrants under the illegal DACA program, those responsible men and women of congress decided to do nothing and the DACA program expired on its own, leaving several hundred thousand illegal’s literally out in the cold.

Rather than applying for legal residency status, quite a number of individuals did not take advantage of the opportunity to remain in this country legally and are now faced with the prospect of being removed through the deportation process.

What some states and cities have attempted is to create safe-havens or sanctuary cities to shield illegal immigrants from federal immigration authorities. Not only are these actions illegal, but the state officials involved may be subject to federal prosecution.

Because this country is a nation of laws under the Constitution of the United States of America designed to protect American citizens and lawfully documented visitors, it is important that these laws be upheld and the lawbreakers be held accountable for their actions.

There are a number of individuals who have gained entry into our country, but have yet to contribute to American society. Those individuals should have their US citizenship revoked and they should be returned to their home country.

It would be interesting to know how many illegal aliens may be criminals from their home countries. Maybe they could be extradited and serve time in the prison system of the land they are accustomed to?

The land of opportunity gives everyone the same opportunity to work hard, raise their family, pay their taxes and exercise their right as an American citizen to vote in our system of elections. Visitors and illegal aliens are not entitled to the freedoms afforded to American citizens, until they have gone thru the process to become US citizens.

It is not a Democratic or a Republican thing but an American way of life, available to all who successfully go thru the immigration process. We welcome you! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

When Marching is Just Marching

When Marching is Just Marching

During the past year we in America have witnessed violence, personal attacks and even murder. There have been rioting, vandalism and public displays of outrage over the most mundane things. Acts of violence spurred a number of massive group marches in response to real and perceived wrongs against society.

Police have been involved in shootings of individuals involved or suspected of being involved in auto theft, burglary, assaults against police officers or private citizens. Many of these shootings should never have happened. They most likely wouldn’t have happened if the individual would have simply obeyed the verbal commands of the police officers. Better yet, if the person had not attempted the criminal act that resulted in a police response.

It seems to be a new norm for someone to see something they want, and take it just because they think they will get away with it, or if caught will be out of jail in a few hours, free to do it again. What happened to personal responsibility?

Programs like “Cops” or “Live PD” are fed constantly from the behavior of stupid criminals. Too often they are young people of color who are under the influence and do things normal people wouldn’t do. I’ve laughed as some young saggy pants kid attempts to run from police, only to trip himself up; or the guy who’s stopped for driving erratic and after being pulled over is asked if he’s has any unlawful substance on his person, and his response of “No officer”, and he’s surprised because he is being arrested for the “joint” on his ear.

We’ve seen the recent “Women’s March” happened, with the vulgar and obscene signs, pictures and that “cute” little pink hat. This was a spontaneous march where women could voice their disdain for sexual exploitation of women. Yet their behavior was worse than the behavior they denounced.

There was the “March for Life” that protested the murder of babies in the womb by entities such as Planned Parenthood. It was orderly, the signs were straightforward to stop abortion, and the pictures were of actual babies, some of which had been aborted, Unsightly? Yes, but when is murder condoned and considered normal?

The recent “March for Your Lives” was said to be another spontaneous series of events, organized and led by high school students exercising their first amendment rights, while clearly calling for the removal of other peoples second amendment rights of gun ownership.

These nationwide events were clearly demonstrative of the forces, groups and money behind and controlling the message expressed at each event, while suppressing opposing views, even by students who survived the Parkland school shooting.

Let us not forget marches in support of the men, women and children who are referred to as DACA (Delayed Action on Childhood Arrivals). Their biggest fear is deportation and leaving their jobs, friends and families behind. This issue has divided the nation over the fact that “they are law abiding illegal’s” because they have lived good productive lives here, and their only error was coming here illegally.

Need I say more? What has prevented these individuals from applying for citizenship thru channels in the US or going back to their home countries and applying for entry into the US properly? Living here, working without paying taxes or being on welfare or government assistance is not productive to the American way of life, or following our Rule of Law.

Lastly marching, protesting or “resisting” the President of the United States because you don’t like him or what he has done in the past is just plain dumb.

It is the right of every American to vote in the election.

It is then the responsibility of every American to support our elected officials as they perform the duties of their office whether you like the individual or not.

It is the right of every American to vote in the next election.

We have elected officials who organize in such a manner that they fan the flames of racism and seek to divide and conquer the nation, for their own personal gain.

It is the responsibility of every American to vote those individuals out of office and replace them with solid, responsible and patriot Americans or watch the nation decline.

So my question is this, when is marching just marching? When is raising your voice just that, raising your voice? Looking back at the diversity of the protest marches during the past year, what has been accomplished?

I’m serious, what has happened to change the behavior of the criminals who behave badly?

What has changed in the policing of America?

What has changed in the sexual exploitation of women?

What has changed in the gun violence perpetuated on school children?

What has changed in America that makes American’s safer in large and small cities nationwide?

Have national or state legislatures passed more laws protecting American citizens?

Have law enforcement tightened down on enforcing new and existing laws to stop the violence?

Have criminals changed their minds and become upstanding law abiding citizens?

In many cases the answer is a resounding “NO”!

If the March or “cause” you participated in or follow online has not produced any positive effects or changes in our society, it is simply a “walk in the park”.

Be sure to think things thru and plan for real and positive changes to happen as a result of your efforts. If you want to see changes in schools across the nation, don’t boycott or resist the Secretary of Education when she comes to your school. Welcome her and listen to what she has to say, maybe, just maybe she has a plan to make your school better? It’s possible that she may hear a tip or suggestion from you that can be applied to other schools?

If school violence is truly your concern, what are you doing to prevent acts of bullying or assaults on students? Do you look for the new kid sitting without any friends, or the one eating alone, or standing aside quietly watching? Have you stepped up to say hi, introduce yourself and welcome him?

What about the kid being bullied in the schoolyard, hallway or road to or from school?  Do you laugh and watch or do you step in and stop it? Everyone can make a difference, but have you?

Evil knows no bounds and is not constrained by laws or ordinances which define prohibit or restrict them. Placing a lock on a door keeps people out and simply slows down the person who decides to enter anyway.

Are you marching to somebody else’s music or do you have your own tune?

If you are not the solution, you may be the problem! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Stolen Valor – Stolen Trust

Stolen Valor (if you will) – Stolen Trust

When you think you’ve see it all, here’s a twist in the Parkland school shooting that you wouldn’t expect to see. By now everyone recognizes David Hogg the “Parkland Shooting Survivor”, well now he’s not?

Like I said in an earlier article David Hogg is an “actor” a “political pawn” for the left, nothing more, nothing less. Well less than nothing would be more like it.

After the February 14th attack on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 people dead, David Hogg has been in front of the media cameras and has toured across the nation as the face of a “shooting survivor” and now it seems that he wasn’t even there during the shooting?

Claiming to be a victim while David Hogg said “On the day of the shooting, I got my camera and got on my bike and rode as fast as I could three miles from my house to the school to get as much video and to get as many interviews as I could because I knew that this could not be another mass shooting.”

He was a student journalist and was not even on the school grounds, isn’t that the same as what “Stolen Valor” fakers do, claim to be something they are not? So that makes him a “de facto” crisis actor. There is no sympathy for David Hogg, his actions at the school AFTER the shooting was not to aid and assist but to play the part of a “journalist”, then claiming to be a shooting survivor and playing it up in front of media’s cameras.

It’s easy to see why he would not agree to a debate with a real life shooting survivor when called out, it would have exposed himself no national TV. Well without any outside help and on a soon to be aired CBS News Special “39 Days” David Hogg exposed himself as a liar and a fake.

One last thing, the students banding together as #neveragain attempt to promote the false narrative of “white privilege” as a means of condemning gun violence in inner cities? Why do they not talk about the real cause of gun violence in schools due to Bullying, which is different than the drive by shootings of the inner cities caused by gang violence with criminals who illegally possess and use all manner of weapons, including AK-47s to intimidate and harass entire communities? Taking guns away from Americans does not make kids safer, it has the opposite effect.

Combat bullying at school by stepping up and putting a stop to bullying of other students. Combat gun violence thru firearms use and safety education. Involve local law enforcement when you see something, say something! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Open Letter to Bill Murray

Bill Murray

3-27-2018

Open Letter to Bill Murray

I read your editorial about the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida speaking out since the February 14th 2018 attack on them and their fellow students. I’m saddened that you compared their “movement” to that of the anti-war protestors of the 1960s and 1970s.

What you failed to realize was that the majority of the students at the Parkland high school are not supportive of the objective of the wave of “gun control marches”. They do not want more gun legislation, they want safer school environment for all students in America as do most Americans.

I say most Americans because there are Americans who do not want safer schools. In fact those who organized the coordinated marches across America are playing on fear, fear of guns and gun violence to support their bid to remove the protection of the 2nd Amendment.

In America all men are created equal, yet some Americans have decided that they are more equal than other.  They have taken it upon themselves to use the gun violence at Parkland to justify their position that guns are bad and must be eliminated, at least from American citizens who do not use guns as a means of overpowering others or causing harm or death.

The anti-war movement of the 1960s and 1970s did not bring the Vietnam War to an end. No it removed American support from the playing field so that an unjust communist government had free reign on a people who wanted to be free and took that right forcibly away from them.

So the anti-war protesters have become a cancer in today’s society as college and university deans and professors. They have become older and wiser in their ways of manipulating the minds of America’s youth. They have been putting forth a false narrative that has changed world and American history. They have learned to shift the focus of the media away from the truth.

The Parkland students did not call for, nor organize these nationwide marches as we have been led to believe. The students who survived the Parkland massacre want their normal lives back. They want their friends and family back. Like many of us, they want America back!

Mr. Murray the organizers of these marches were not students. Adults with money and power both organized, funded and coordinated these events so they appeared to the untrained eye to be spontaneous, grass roots events, but not by students.

The students of Parkland and across America (18 years and younger) may be smart, exceptional and very intelligent, but they are not the ones who showed up to these marches. They were either working at jobs after school and on weekends, or with their families mourning the loss of family and friends, or they watched on TV.

The impressionable young people who were given promises of rewards and special recognition in front of the cameras were the ones who “showed up” or had ulterior motives like supporting abortion. It is not normal for an advocate for student safety to also advocate for removing the 2nd Amendment and taking guns to support abortion.

Our schools are safer in 2018 than they ever have been and the idea of ending violence in school should start with the violence experienced by students EVERY DAY in the form of BULLYING (student and teachers alike).

Bullying begins in the home, gets on the bus and goes to school. Parents can teach their children to treat everyone with respect so that we can end Bullying in schools and watch the violence decline.

Gun violence is a major problem in cities that declare themselves “Gun Free Zones”, and current legislation (US Law) makes murder a major crime. Everyone needs to stand and fight against the street thugs and gangs and assist law enforcement to bring robbers and murders to justice.

Mr. Murray your acting is superb and your movies are funny and a great source of entertainment (except Stripes). I suggest that you stick to what you know best – Acting (while we still like you). – I am the Real Truckmaster!

To Veto or Not?

Omnibus-Trump-600-LI

To Veto or Not?

I must say I was encouraged by reading that President Trump was considering Vetoing the Omnibus Spending Bill. I know that had the president Vetoed the bill would have gone back to both the house and the senate and could have become law with the required number of votes. I’m sure the president knew that too, but afterall the Republicans had the House, the Senate and the White House. It was the only thing he could do. It was the right thing to do.

When the president announced that his hands were tied and he reluctantly signed the Omnibus Spending Bill to insure that our military would be funded with new equipment and pay raises, greatly disappointed me personally. What I saw, what America saw was a betrayal of his campaign promises.

The smiles on the Democratic minority leadership of both houses, as well as the RINOs faces said it all, they had outsmarted the “Negotiator in Chief”, beat him at his own game and the American taxpayers, the American voters would pay dearly now.

I was greatly disappointed that he chose to sign the Omnibus Spending Bill. For me it was a personal betrayal as I have been 100% supportive of President Trump. I posted that disappointment on Facebook and reasoned that he must have a plan.

What we saw was the president “caving in” to the likes of the Democrats and RINOs on the left. He gave away the farm, and threw in the farm animals and all the equipment with it.

Or did he?

This morning I read an article that was revealing and shed light on what actually happened with that public display of “defeat” by the president. (Remember failure is not an option for the president or for Team Trump).

The constitution says that the President must adhere to a Budget set forth by Congress and direct the expenditures as provided therein. Has congress in fact passed a budget? I think not.

So what is an Omnibus Spending Bill? It may have “instructions” as to how the money is spent, but the president decides whether to spend it or not and where it is spent. Ah Hah!

This happened to Obama and he chose how the money was spent and where. Wonder where it all went?

Well congress added all the pork barrel pet projects and they all smiled as they got what they wanted, or did they?

What if President Trump took all the money needed and took care of the military like he wants to?

What if he funds (and builds) the Wall like he wants to?

What if he funds and equips Border Patrol and ICE like he wants to?

What if he arms teachers (firearms proficiency and safety training first)?

What if he diverts funds for Planned Parenthood, Sanctuary Cities and ALL the pork barrel projects to accomplish all of the above and tells congress to stop messing around with his appointments?

What if he tells congress, while you’re at it fix DACA, and Oh Yeah pass a budget, before I direct funds anywhere else?

What if?

Read this article, based on the research and conclusions of the author(s) it would appear that the teacher schooled the students, again.

This is why our children go to school so they can make it past the “dangling participle” ……… so to speak. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Make Schools Safe Again

Make Schools Safe Again

During all the hype of the “March for our lives” movement it’s easy to see this as America’s young people “coming of age” and exercising their first amendment rights of free speech and peaceful assembly.

A closer look reveals something entirely different. The claim is that our school kids are really smart, and are speaking their minds, what they’re really thinking and their voices need to be heard. Really!

How many really smart, high school kids are living at home, obeying their parents and learning from their teachers?

Their goal is to move out of the house; go to college or get a high paying job with minimal work effort so they can live the good life.

One day they will become full-fledged adults, living on their own, working at a job, paying their own expenses without the assistance from their families or friends.

How many of the students marching actually understood what they were doing, or what they were saying – Gun control? Taking back our schools? Abolish the 2nd Amendment? The NRA is the problem?

These are catchy phrases, but what I read on Facebook was a post from a really smart high school student in relationship to the marches was “This should be about ending bullying. Bullying happens every day at school.”

More students can relate to ending school violence – bullying.

How much more does bullying at school occur in comparison to gun or knife violence? Virtually every school has a bullying problem, some of which leads to an explosive violent situation where student lives are affected.

Disrespect leads to bullying in all its different forms, verbal threats, physical abuse, even from teachers and school administrative staff. Student on student violence can be stopped and all it takes is someone stepping in to diffuse the situation. Student on teacher violence is unacceptable and must be stopped in its tracks. Teacher on student violence is totally unacceptable must not be tolerated. Teacher on teacher violence is unacceptable and must be stopped. Everyone has heard the “see something, say something” mantra. That’s all it is unless it is ignored.

Back to the marches, although the purpose of the marches was billed as “Ending Gun Violence in Schools”, the hidden agenda was another version of the leftist attack on ending the 2nd Amendment – the right to own and bear arms. This is the reason the 2nd Amendment exists to protect Americans.

It didn’t take long for the real leftists to come forward, praising the young people whose voices must be heard. We had President Barack Obama leave his shadowy perch, as well as expected congressional Democrats and even Republicans issue their decree on gun control. There were even references to George Soros and others who contributed funding so these marches could take place.

My question to you is this. How in the world can thousands on thousands of school kids, who’s biggest issue is “my hair” or “my clothes” or “my allowance”, how can these children organize, co-ordinate interstate marches, schedule and pay for bus transportation, lunches and expect to control the crowds who gather?

One doesn’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that this is not about the kids at all. It’s not about stopping gun violence at schools, or gun violence in cities across America.

If stopping the violence was the issue, there would be massive backlash against organized gangs who prey on everyday citizens IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS, with threats, fear, intimidation, assaults, and murder. Neighborhood watches would organize. Neighbors would gather with neighbors, taking back neighborhoods BLOCK BY BLOCK.

If school violence was the issue, students would come forward to stop the bullying, and teachers would begin teaching history, science, mathematics, and how to be successful in the real world after graduation. Schools would enable armed intruder protocol and conduct drills on what to do or not do in that event.

If gun violence was the issue, parents would teach their children from an early age about how to handle a firearm and about gun safety. Children who are familiar with handling weapons would not become huddled masses, vulnerable to an armed intruder.

So the slogan “We’re taking back our schools”, I say “from what?”
