Nikes – Just Do It

Donate to Homeless Veterans

It started out like a bad dream, a nightmare really. Then “Colin” cancer took root in the NFL evoking a reaction from President Donald Trump in the tweet literally heard round the world that indicated kneeling for the national anthem was disrespectful and players should be fired. It would seem that the president’s tweets contained some sort of “fire starter” and maybe should have alerted the Center for National Consciousness so someone could send for the politically correct police to remedy the situation.

It wasn’t long before spread like wildfire across the board to include NFL boardroom, NFL franchises team owners, coaches and players. Soon it had infected public school sports programs nationwide.

What began with Colin Kapernick as his statement against social injustice was handed off the NFL players who supported Kapernick and vowed to continue until he was “given a job” back in the NFL. It was no longer about social injustice, as the overpaid social warriors began demonizing themselves and one even said he felt like a “monkey” as he signed his $93M “deal”.

Public outrage ensued over the blatant disrespect exhibited by NFL players toward the national anthem, the flag and the country. Calls for boycotts began in earnest as fans began burning NFL memorabilia, once prized jersey’s and tore up season tickets. Vowing to turn off the NFL until respect returned to the game. The boycotting has hurt the NFL’s bottom line, but the lesson was not learned.

Then Nike upped the ante as they chose Colin Kapernick for their “Just Do It” campaign. The outrage was immediate as fans began burning prized Nike shoes and other memorabilia.

It was a comment on social media where a retired US Army Colonel, a Special Forces soldier urged not the burning of Nike shoes but the giving of those shoes to Homeless Veterans. Wow!

What a novel idea, take Nike shoes so despised by incensed fans and give them to Homeless Veterans often despised and overlooked by society. Thus begins the saga of “Donate Nike Shoes” with an additional proviso – add a NEW pair of socks and hand them out to Homeless Veterans.

Another venue is the VA’s Veterans Stand Downs where veterans are brought in for checkups, clothing and medical treatment and such: https://www.va.gov/homeless/events.asp

This would be a great way to incorporate donations of Nike shoes where they can do a lot of good. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Congressional Circus

The Congressional Circus

I don’t believe my eyes, since when did the Judiciary Committee of the United States Senate become simply another circus coming to town? On day one of the Brett Kavanaugh hearings even the opening by the committee chair were interrupted in the first 30 seconds by committee Democrats. The entire process was more like a three ring circus. Democrats were verbally popping off at the mouth and unable or unwilling to contain themselves.

Take Congressional Black Caucus member Senator Cory Booker D-NJ who accused President Trump of choosing Hitler to serve on the Supreme Court. And the stupidity doesn’t end there.

Senator Dick Durbin D-IL in an obviously coordinated attack on Judge Kavanaugh asked the candidate if he was Adolf Hitler and demanded that DNA was the only way to prove he was not.

Democrats even filed a request with the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, New York to have the body of Hitler’s nephew, William Patrick Stuart-Houston, exhumed for DNA testing against Kavanaugh.

https://babylonbee.com/news/democrats-demand-kavanaugh-submit-to-dna-test-to-prove-hes-not-actually-hitler/

Even more of the circus acts were the planted “actors” including Woman’s March leader Linda Sarsour who was arrested after being among the first to start screaming from the audience.

So my question is how do Senators get on these various committees in the first place? What are their “qualifications” to become a member of ANY committee? Maybe a more important question is how many committees are there in the Senate?

It is said that one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel and it appears that one bad Democrat casts a broad brush over ALL Democrats especially in Congress.

What is apparent is that voters must closely evaluate who their representatives are in both the House and in the Senate. Are they representing YOU? Is this what you envisioned when you sent them to Washington?

I can say that the demonstrations IN THIS INSTANCE have shown the true colors of the Democrats who have conducted themselves in the manner of school children during recess. The Democrats’ name calling and bantering as nothing more than Senatorial bullying that has no place in the halls of Congress.

So I challenge those dysfunctional Senators to grow up or go home! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Washington Talk with George Carlin

Washington Talk with George Carlin

I watched a You Tube video where George Carlin was explaining how politicians talk and thus how they think (or failure to). According to him politicians in Washington must speak with “great caution” so that they “don’t actually say anything”.

Here are some examples that I thought it might be fun to refer to when listening to your favorite politician on the radio, over the internet or on television:

  • Address the Problem
  • Average American
  • Continue my work in government
  • Core Values
  • Don’t answer = Respond
  • Don’t decide = Determine
  • Don’t say = Indicate
  • Don’t tell = Advise
  • Feeling the heat
  • Get on with my life
  • Get the facts out to the American people
  • Greatest Nation on Earth
  • I will be exonerated
  • Initiative = Idea that isn’t going anywhere
  • Innocent until proven guilty
  • Let me Suggest
  • Low level of American intelligence
  • Make a Judgement
  • Make an Assessment
  • Miscommunication
  • Mistakes were made
  • Move the Process
  • Moving Forward
  • No evidence
  • Offer a Recommendation
  • Patriotism
  • Peacetime Military = Young men and women stationed halfway around the world
  • Probably by someone in my office
  • Proceeding
  • Public Service
  • Put this thing behind me
  • Quoted out of context
  • Ritual Suicide
  • Serving the Nation
  • Soft Money
  • Take Responsibility for your actions
  • Term Limits = Terms used by politicians
  • The American people are a lot smarter than they are given credit for
  • The whole thing blown out of proportion
  • To Meet these Challenges
  • Trust in the fairness of the American people
  • Trying to get to the bottom of this
  • Twisted my words
  • Wartime Military = In places the average American can’t find on a map
  • Wartime Military = In places they can’t pronounce
  • You are implicated

Many will see the humor in these sayings, while for the younger generation it will pass right over their heads.

Let me add a few here that are current political speak

  • Abortion = Woman’s right to choose the murder of her unborn baby
  • Black Lives Matter = Not to blacks they don’t
  • Blue Lives Matter = Racist term showing support for law enforcement
  • Border Patrol = Racist Trump agency that stops undocumented immigrants from crossing over to U.S.
  • Communism = The government does everything for you
  • Constitution = Outdated and old fashioned document with no relevance today
  • Democrat = All Black voters must be
  • Fake News = News outlets who distort or non-report the truth so as to sway public opinion
  • Family Separation = Trump does to innocent children who accompany their parents across the border illegally
  • Fascist = Must be Trump supporters
  • Homophobic = Doesn’t agree with me
  • C.E. = Illegal law enforcement stopping undocumented immigrants from staying in the U.S.
  • Illegal Immigrants = Illegal Immigrants
  • Nazi = Trump supporter who doesn’t agree with me
  • Racist = Doesn’t agree with me
  • Republican = All Trump supporters are
  • Sensible Gun Control = take away citizen’s right to self-protection
  • Snowflake = Democratic supporter who doesn’t agree with me
  • Socialist = Bernie’s minions
  • The Wall = Racist way to stop undocumented immigrants from crossing the border
  • Undocumented Immigrants = Illegal Immigrants
  • White Supremacist = Trump supporter who doesn’t agree with me

Some of the above terms and ideas seem comical by today’s standards, yet the bar has been lowered so that even today’s standards are unreachable by even the lowest achievers. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Disrespect Unchecked is Like a Cancer

Disrespect Unchecked is Like a Cancer

So one man singlehandedly sacrificed for social injustice? Yes, but it wasn’t Colin Kapernick. One year ago one man #78 Alejandro Villanueva of the Pittsburgh Steelers took a stand for what he believed in and as a result was publicly and repeatedly shamed while others were unable, unwilling and afraid to do so and became an embarrassment.

Steelers head Coach Mike Tomlin who told the media that he had expected 100% participation after the team voted to stay in the locker room until after the national anthem. Villanueva ignored the order to remain in the locker room.

This former army ranger was one and he alone came outside to honor the flag and the national anthem. I would expect no less from a combat hardened Bronze Star Captain who was shamed until he publicly apologized on camera for standing his ground?

Oh it could have been easy to go with the flow, follow the crowd and act like everyone else, but it takes someone with intestinal fortitude to stand on your principles because it’s the right thing to do.

Colin Kapernick on the other hand publicly took a knee during the national anthem to protest social injustice?

Taking a knee during the national anthem WAS and IS disrespectful and when the president weighed in on this matter, the entire NFL, team owners, coaches and players have collectively taken a knee in support of Kapernick? That was not sacrifice by any standard.

Addressing social injustice is setting a positive example, going into the community to educate and discuss ways and means of ending the injustice would be a better way. I’m sorry but disrespecting the flag, the national anthem and the President of the United States is nothing more than a cancer to the soul of America.

During the past year what has occurred is a cancerous movement that has grown to include school sports programs, resistance to traditional American values.

The real social injustice is when one segment of society self-identifies with racially charged rhetoric and attempts to exact social bullying tactics in order to prevent their own betterment. What is happening in cities across America are gangs freely roaming the streets terrorizing innocent people with looting, shooting and running amuck. Rather than address the root cause and formulate solutions, it is better to resist and attack the police as if that will make things better?

What is missing in this equation is man’s need and dependence upon a loving and merciful God. Try as he might man is the problem, not the answer. Jesus alone is the answer to the sinful problems of man.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

We must turn from our wicked ways, fall down on our knees and pray and as a people call out to Almighty God once again for deliverance.

I am reminded of the story of an injured man trapped on a rooftop during a flood. He prayed to God asking for help. Soon a helicopter came overhead but he wouldn’t budge. Later a small boat came by and still he wouldn’t budge. Finally the man succumbed to his injuries. Then he asked God, “Why didn’t you help me?” God replied that he sent a helicopter and a boat but the man refused the help.

Our nation has been crying out to God for help. Now we choose to ignore the help because we don’t like the messenger? Go Figure! – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Great Fraud Perpetuated Against America

The Great Fraud Perpetuated Against America

It has just occurred to me that many instances in my lifetime have been times when members of Congress have consciously and with purpose used the U.S. government to commit fraud against American citizens and tax payers for great personal gain.

Most Americans do not know, nor are aware of the extent of this great fraud perpetuated against America. Even so, how can we recover what was lost, when we don’t know the extent of that loss?

Presently there are 100 Senators and 435 Representatives that make up the United States Congress, the first branch of government. Senators are to represent the interests of the states and Representatives are to represent the interests of the American citizens of their home states. All are elected in cycles so that in order to do a fresh sweep and clean out ALL elected members of Congress it would take THREE election cycles. That is how it was established in the U.S. Constitution.

Therein lies the problem, how to lay down the absolute power held by various members of Congress so that they willingly leave office and go back to private practice?

It is an almost impossible task because of the various committees within each branch of Congress and to further complicate things there are more than 240 voting blocs WITHIN Congress called Caucuses that have been created along political, religious, ethnicity, and geographical and other lines.

We already know that “Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely” and “The Love of Money is the Root of ALL Evil”.

So how do we begin to reign in an out of control Congress? One proposal is by establishing term limits. Another is to bring the Congress under the same standards as average American citizens (pay, health and taxes).

Those are easier said than done because it would literally take an “Act of Congress” to make it happen.

The House and the Senate would each have to draft legislation in concert that would limit themselves to a maximum of two terms. They would also need to draft legislation preventing them from serving in both the House and the Senate; or confining them to serving in either the House or the Senate.

The House and the Senate would have to draft legislation in concert that would place them under the same health care plan as all Americans; to stop all Congressional retirements; remove entitlements after Congressional service; Reestablish “Public Service” as the motivator; and ban ALL Congressional lobbyists.

It is my opinion that career politicians in Congress are beholding to so-called “traditional” practices and outside groups to the point that their Congressional service is no longer Public Service. Without going into great detail there are quite a number of the 535 members of Congress who are career politicians with an excess of 20 years in Congress. Some have gone from House to Senate or other way.

Incoming members of Congress have no preconceived notion of what’s ahead for them, or maybe their motives are still unclear about how to best serve American voters. Some will come in with grandiose ideas of effecting great change. Others will come with personal gain in mind.

We are greatly removed from the days of Patriotic Americans standing on and for the Constitution. Our institutions of higher learning, public education and some alternate learning facilities have to do a much better job of teaching American History; Tradition and Values; Economics; Geography; World Affairs; as well as the Reading, Writing and Arithmetic; and Trade Skills that enable our young Americans of today to become productive workers and leaders of tomorrow. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

There Is No Comparison

9-2-2018

There Is No Comparison

Let me start off with “I TOLD YOU SO”.  Not that it needed to be said, but it makes me feel better saying it. Politicians are politicians are politicians. They tell you what you want to hear so they can get your vote. Their interests are not in you or those you represent, not even disguised in patriotism wrapped in the red white and blue and John McCain was a soldier turned politician. He wasn’t a maverick as many are led to believe, he was mediocre at best. The media referred to him as a “Favorite Son” in the headlines of this morning’s local paper. President Trump was referred to as “Good Trump” because he sent Air Force Two to “fetch” this favorite son to the nation’s capital and chastised because he went golfing instead of the funeral he wasn’t invited to. Go Figure!

The following statements may be a true indicator of the John McCain that spent over 35 years “fighting” for America in the halls of Congress and according to his colleagues he loved the “soldier” and was on the Armed Services Committee of the Senate.

What I don’t understand are how liberals (not just democrats) figure that a man who failed to achieve the highest office of the land can be equated to the sitting President of the United States?

Donald Trump was not a politician, yet on his first attempt scored the nomination against politicians and business professionals alike and beat the opposing party’s “best” candidate during the 2016 election.

There has been a lot of hype over Donald Trump’s past. History looks back on his younger years as Trump being a “bad boy”, a son of privilege who developed some nasty habits, yet was the envy of the rich and famous. Trump was a self-made man who was frequently seen with a beautiful babe on each arm, frequenting the nightclubs and hotspots of New York City and elsewhere.

The hype over John McCain’s past shows him as a son of privilege, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, yet his mediocre accomplishments warrant everything except praise by those who knew and served with him during the Vietnam War and in the halls of Congress. His marriage into money cemented his place in Congress.

The differences are clear John McCain was often seen as a bitter man unhappy over life and more scornful than a woman who suffered from hurt feelings. As a member of Congress, McCain often sided with the opposition party against his own party. This caused the legislative process to often come to a screeching halt.

So how is it that Obamacare passed without opposition from Congress or McCain? How is it that no Comprehensive Immigration Reform was tackled successfully during his reign? Why was no border wall legislation and/or funding pushed through to enhance border security?

It’s a well-known fact that absolute power corrupts absolutely and John McCain had a hold on that absolute power, to the point of deciding who would or would not be invited at his funeral. He was a self-centered man to the very end.

On the other hand Donald Trump was also a self-made man, with all the fame and fortune any man could want. He put his life on hold, cast aside his fortune and fame for the country that he loves. During his younger years he appeared to exist for vanity’s sake, but all that changed when he saw a need and knew that he had a plan and answers to change the failed direction of the nation. There is no comparison between the life of McCain and the life of Trump. Both sought to have their own way and dealt with rejection differently.

I’m not knocking the lifetime accomplishments of either McCain or Trump, yet I know that when one goes through life seeking the praises of man those praises are ones only reward. John McCain has received and will continue to receive the praises of those who placed him on that pedestal. These are the same people who opposed McCain’s bid for presidency and are rejecting Trump’s successful bid as president.

Donald Trump is on a different trajectory and while it is nice to receive recognition on his historic accomplishments, his reward is to do the task he has been given and break down the barriers plaguing this nation and return America’s eyes back to Almighty God as he continues to “Make America Great Again”.

I pray that American’s do not end up going out on the same defiant terms as John McCain. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The Snubbing of President Trump

9-1-2018

The Snubbing of President Trump

When will they ever learn that bashing President Trump is simply a losing proposition?

The nation recently lost an internationally renowned icon that left an everlasting impression on America. It’s ironic that one of the trademark songs left behind was spelled out “R – E – S – P – E – C – T” was not shown at given at the funeral of Aretha Franklin, when Al Sharpton was among those who took away from her memorial service by talking trash about President Donald Trump. I wonder if she turned over in her casket upon hearing disparaging words against a president who has done so much to improve the lives of Americans across the spectrum of a racially divided America.

Another landmark was taken from America when John McCain passed away on Saturday and the events leading up to his funeral with full military honors was worthy of a presidential state funeral. His body was brought to the rotunda of the United States Capitol Building where he lay in state for mourners to come and pay their respects. Every detail was executed just the way he planned, to include who would be “allowed” to attend and to deliver accolades and praise about him. I’m not sure, but quite possibly there were mourners lined up to deliver disparaging words about President Trump (who was not on the preferred attendees list). Such a class act for a lowly “public servant” who claimed to love his country yet refused to support the president or his agenda over the past 20 months because he got his feelings hurt.

I’m sorry but it is up to each one of us to stand on our principles, yet “know when to hold em, and know when to fold em, know when to walk away and know when to run” (the old Kenny Rogers song).

America has been in a great depression and didn’t even know it while politicians were promising the moon but delivering nothing and Americans getting deeper and deeper in debt and the national debt skyrocketed out of control. This was worse than the three blind mice being led by a deaf mouse.

President Trump was one man willing to step forward and do something about the sorry state of affairs encompassing America. He wasn’t a politician, but a very successful businessman and someone all the movers and shakers wanted to be seen with, until he announced his candidacy for president.

After being elected the Democrats rejected his presidency; the Republicans refused to take him seriously; and the media began attacking his credibility and his ability to govern, fueled in part by Congressional Democrats and RINO’s.

In recent weeks many Republicans have gotten on board with President Trump. On the other hand many Democrats have resorted to domestic terrorist style attacks on the president, his family, his cabinet and even openly threatening law enforcement possibly resulting in the weakened DOJ in the past 8 years of Obama.

Is it a coincidence that many of those who attack President Trump were previously recipients of his generosity toward them? I’m talking about the rich and famous those attended his parties, his weddings and were featured on his television show “The Apprentice”.

Is it because Donald Trump had been a Democrat most of his adult life? Or was it because the influence President Reagan had on shaping his political worldview? Quite possibly it was the fact that Donald Trump changed on the campaign trail or before and that he had a supernatural encounter that would chart a new course in his life.

Whatever happened has turned to political establishment upside down in so many ways. Those in power no longer have a political stranglehold and the thought of losing any of their power has enraged the Democrat elites to the point of encouraging open rebellion and physical assaults as a means of spreading fear and intimidation over others.

What good is it to ruin a memorial service of a “friend” or colleague  so that nobody remembers any of the good that was said about them, but can never forget the insults and disparaging remarks against the President of the United States regardless of political party?

The Democratic Party is dying from self-inflected wounds and must reestablish itself as the party of the blue collar workers and ditch the rhetoric of hate. America is tired of hearing it and they deserve more from congressional leadership in Washington, D. C. and at home. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

What About Trump?

8-31-2018

What About Trump?

So your view is that Donald Trump is a womanizer, a show off, self-serving, draft dodger, made money off economic downfall of yesteryear, not a politician and unfit to be president? Does that about cover it? Those are all assumptions and are a combination of fact, fiction and the vivid imagination of a number of people.

And I ask this, “What about you?” “What about your past?” Did YOU sing in the choir or something?

When Donald Trump was a child he did what other kids were doing and his dad sent him to military school to straighten him out. What did he learn? Discipline, team work and that “winning was the only thing”, according to his WWII military instructor.

Trump worked beside his father in the construction industry where he learned hard work, long hours, craftsmanship and taking responsibility. Do the job right and don’t cut corners. He went to college for an accounting degree before continuing in the company business, eventually taking over from his father.

Trump has made decisions that carry consequences, some good, and some bad. He didn’t let the bad decisions keep him down, but worked through them. Trump liked beautiful women and they loved to be seen with him. Those who married tired of his behavior divorced him and moved on. Yet Trump stayed involved in the lives of his children and taught them the family business the way he learned from his dad.

One misconception people have is that plastering the Trump name all over his properties, buildings, helicopter and airplanes was a vanity problem, when in reality it was a statement that became the “gold standard” of elegance and became his company brand name.

Donald Trump did not have to go into politics to become president. He saw that the country was being literally run into the ground, a place he was very familiar with. Like many others he had to be thinking “Why doesn’t somebody do something?”

Well he was somebody and he could do something, but it wasn’t until he was prompted by an unseen force that he actually decided to take action. His action was seen as a ploy, a publicity stunt, but once it was clear that he was in it for the win, it brought worry and fear because he had been with the movers and shakers in Washington. He knew the “swamp rats” and they knew him and his “Drain the Swamp” campaign was not just rhetoric.

Since becoming President, Trump has worked hard to keep his campaign promises, and urged Congress to get to work fixing immigration laws and funding the wall along our southern border. Politicians are steeped in power and influence and there are those who are becoming wealthy because they are in office. Anyone who threatens their power or control are seen as the enemy and it’s hard losing control and losing power, not what politicians want to do. Trump brings a businessman’s perspective to government and the effects have been positive, while resistance has increased.

Trump is not a pastor or a preacher or a “good old boy” that many have desired in a president. The swamp surely doesn’t want to lose their influence and have sworn to resist until the bitter end. Hate knows no bounds. That will prove to be their downfall.

America has been divided along socio economic lines as well as racially and Americans have been conditioned to think this is normal behavior which it is not. Under Trump’s leadership and at his prodding the national mindset is changing as we prepare for the positive steps to take effect and for the swamp to continue draining.

There is a time coming where those in power will be held accountable. Love Trumps Hate!

We pray that will continue to shower favor on our president and blessings upon the United States of America. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Far Left Democrats in Congress

Far Left Democrats in Congress

Can you believe that those left-leaning Democrats roaming the halls of Congress think they are the “PC Police”? Congress is charged with creating laws, not breaking them! It’s time to take a stand against lawlessness in Congress!

We’ve had to endure the taunts, threats and “obstruction” from those who were elected to represent the people in their districts and home states. They’ve called for resistance which is nothing more than treason. They’ve called for threatening actions against current administration officials which is against the law. They’ve even called for open harassment and violence against American citizens for standing up FOR enforcement of our laws.

Now we have a sitting Arizona Democrat Ruben Gallego (@rubengallego) who has threatened law enforcement, administration officials and the sitting president by tweeting:

Ruben Gallego

✔@RubenGallego

If you are a US government official and you are deporting Americans be warned. When the worm turns you will not be safe because you were just following orders. You do not have to take part in illegal acts ordered by this President’s administration. (emphasis mine)

When are they ever going to learn that the power they were given as a member of Congress is not a license to threaten, intimidate or harass anyone?

Congress failing to enact legislative changes to immigration laws is not the fault of the Executive Branch who is charged with enforcement by the Constitution which the left have repeatedly attempted to shred.

I urge both the House and the Senate to examine their members closely and those who roam the halls of Congress spewing threats, embodying national security risks or committing or empowering sexual misconduct must be sanctioned by their peers and brought to justice, to include impeachment and removal from Congress and prosecuted.

Election to Congress should be a great honor that is treasured by honorable men and women entrusted by We The People who deserve better. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

We Know How to Fix the Problems of Others

30124177_2029048567122620_1020783480804626932_n2

We Know How to Fix the Problems of Others

I suspect the joke’s on us as God’s way of showing us his subtle sense of humor.

From our earliest days we see someone with a problem and we try to reach out and help them fix it the best way we know how. The only problem is that most of the time we don’t know how to problem solve or troubleshoot and we sure don’t have any of the answers. Ask someone if they know how to solve a simple problem and most likely you’ll get that deer in the headlights look from them.

Take cars for instance, do you know how to change a flat tire? Can you explain to someone else how to do it? What do you do if it happens to you on a deserted stretch of highway, at night, and you have a car full of teenagers?

That’s the beauty because they have “ALL” the answers to just about every question you ask them.

I received a phone call one night from one of my grandsons and he informs me that he has a flat tire on his car. He said he was on a side road, so as not to interfere with freeway traffic, and the cop told him to get his car completely off the road.

I asked him if he knew how to change the flat? He said yes, but his spare was flat. Plus he was in the snow near home in Colorado Springs and was somewhere on the side of the interstate (I-25) just before Castle Rock, Colorado with several of his friends (all teenagers).

I asked if he had his jack and he said yes.

I then told him to jack up the car and remove the flat tire and I had an old tire from his car that I’d bring to him to put on the car so they could get back on the road.

It took me almost 30 minutes to get to the exit where I could pull in front of his car. Sure enough he was there with his friends, they were all in the car with the motor off and they are literally freezing. I noticed the flat tire was still on the car and the jack was nowhere to be found outside the car.

I came wearing my insulated coveralls, boots and gloves, and they don’t have maybe a jacket between them. I’m not very happy because why are they out in that weather in the first place, and why are there so many of them, and finally why were my instructions ignored?

I’m a retired truck driver so I make short work of jacking up the car, removing the tire and getting a little help putting the good tire on (THE FRONT). I instruct him to get on the freeway and keep it at the posted speed, drop those kids off at their place and get home and park the car until replacing the tire I brought to him.

A few days later I asked him what size tire his car took and he didn’t know. He said a friend was going to “loan” him a tire but didn’t know anything about it (size, tread, brand, condition). I went online and showed him how to look up his car, tire size and where he could buy it and have it installed. Sometimes helping someone doesn’t help. Once they fall down, they don’t know how to get back up on their own.

I see that a lot when all the experts voice their opinion on how the president “needs” to do his job. Everyone knows how to run the country, give out all the free stuff and call it good. I’m sure glad that Donald Trump is president and not me, because I am not able to focus when constantly bombarded with the distractions of the ultimate left.

Our president seems to be able to juggle many things at the same time and even make an omelet out of scrambled eggs. Unless someone has walked in his shoes, they should not give “sound” advice as to the job performance of @POTUS. There are several living former presidents who have absolutely had no idea how to govern going in and surrounded themselves with “advisors” who seemed to be clueless as well. Oh their policy decisions were sound in their own minds, but hindsight shows things probably could have been done differently with substantially differing outcomes.

As Americans we would all do well to support @POTUS to show the world that our nation is united, not divided as some of the insane stuff that keeps coming up gives the impression of a third world nation (which we are not). A team works together to accomplish a specific set of goals and a divided house cannot stand. “We are not always able to pick our friends, but we cannot fail to recognize our enemies.” DJT (paraphrased) – I am the Real Truckmaster!
