Stacking the Deck

 

The term to “stack the deck” is an American idiom used in various contexts simply means to cheat or fix something to achieve ones desired outcome.

 

In the world of business stacking the deck is where one could take credit for the work of another to get that coveted promotion.

 

In gambling stacking the deck might be to add or arrange cards in order to win.

 

In politics stacking the deck could be called insider trading where knowledge or strategically placed contacts will give one the advantage in an election like evidence supporting opposing arguments is rejected, omitted or simply ignored.

 

Over the past 4 years of the Trump presidency we’ve seen “Stacking the deck” as a technique that’s commonly used in propaganda. A legitimate crisis is downplayed while opposition politics creates manufactured crisis which cannot be ignored. Arguments presenting counterevidence is slanting or one-sided assessments imply and use fear to drive voters.

 

Look back at the political implications that President Trump is a womanizer, sexual abuser, self-centered bigot, and racist, homophobic and hates he women. Every one of those accusations has been proven false by the very nature of his words and actions.

 

What has also been proven is that Trump is out of control, out of the leftist politicians control and is not one to back down when faced with threats or intimidation. When faced with massive waves of migrant convoy’s intent on crashing the US border, he closed the border. Then Trump went a step further and applied pressure on Central American governments to stop the flow of migrants headed north. This was a different tactic than the open border agenda of the Obama administration.

 

When faced with national disaster’s Trump went on the ground where he met and talked with American’s affected by the disaster. He instructed federal agencies to expedite relief supplies and funds directly to the areas and people in need.

 

When faced with civil unrest within the nation Trump unleashed federal DOJ taskforces to restore law and order to communities in which Democratic lead mayors and governors strongly resisted federal intervention, yet did nothing to stop the violence or protect the citizens in their areas.

 

The one strikingly clear picture Americans have seen repeated over and over has been the resistance of a democratically led congress. The failed impeachment of President Trump and the constant drone of oversight investigations that lead nowhere should be an obvious indicator that Congressional Democrats have intentionally “stacked the deck” in an effort of removing this president from office and have committed themselves to doing whatever is necessary to prevent his re-election at all costs.

 

There have been direct and repeated threats against the family and life of President Trump made by sitting members of congress, former officials of both the Obama and Trump administrations and most recently one by Speaker Nancy Pelosi that “he won’t be president in 2021, one way or another!”

 

It’s been said that doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is a sign of insanity and the Democrats have been using the same failed playbook for more than 4 years achieving the same failed results.

 

The 2020 Democratic debates and subsequent DNC Convention all show that common sense has not been in play in the Democratic Party for quite some time. They are clearly NOT the party of the common man, the working man or woman on the streets of America. Their interests are not the betterment of an America to be proud of, but forcing their power by the submission of voters to cast their ballots for democratic candidates or face the wrath of Antifa and Black Lives Matter thugs with the power to vandalize, maim and kill with impunity anyone who stands in opposition.

 

The promises of the Biden/Harris ticket are to tax, tax and more taxes; gun confiscation or imprisonment; defund law enforcement; eliminate oil production in America and continue the shutdown of America until there is no more resistance.

 

Don’t believe me? Listen and read for yourselves the political promises made by the Biden/Harris team. Look at their track record of political accomplishments. Is lying, cheating “stacking the deck”, sexual manipulation for purely political gain the qualities you approve of and accept?

President Trump 3 ½ years working for America, without pay and fighting a resistant Congress; while securing our border; stopping drugs and human traffickers; and addressing the international community’s failure to adequately pay for America’s protection; lowering taxes; bringing manufacturing jobs back on American soil and more.

 

Biden = 36 years in Congress, 8 years as Obama’s VP and 4 years of selling China’s unimportance.

Harris = 13 years in California politics in AG’s office and as AG putting many in prison for minor offenses and standing up for violators against children, the 3 ½ years in Senate – actively resisting Trump.

 

November 3^rd is Election Day in America. Your choice, your vote can make a difference, and will surely make a statement about you. Voting Red, Blue or not at all is a statement you will forever live with. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

The USPS Course Correction

 

I don’t buy into the false premise hoisted by congressional democrats and others who say the Post Master General Louis DeJoy is doing President Trumps bidding in order to inhibit mail delivery of ballots in the 2020 election, thereby insuring a Republican victory. That would be attempting to influence an election and that would be wrong.

 

What is also attempting to influence an election is pandering fear and spreading lies about the President and/or the USPS without knowing any of the “facts” or in the case of congress actually knowing what they are spreading are not facts but outright lies. So are media headlines about “Trumps war on the USPS” threatening to withhold funding to stop mail-in ballots from getting to the polls in time?

 

The Constitution states that voting is a right of US citizens. Registered voters know they must exercise that right so their one and only vote can be counted. Military personnel and those who are absent from their precinct are able to request absentee ballots be sent to their current address where they can vote early and mail those ballots back to their home precinct.

 

Postal officials have declared that if they can manage 25M Christmas Cards during the holidays they can surely handle processing ballots for the election, as they have always done in the past. They have said there is no shortage of funding that will impact processing mail well into 2021 should additional funding not be approved until then.

 

One big “issue” according to congressional democrats is the removal of big blue mail collection boxes by Postal employees in certain areas. This is not seen as a cost saving measure or relocating boxes to new construction or areas sorely needing but not having these collection boxes available.

 

Everyone knows that the cost of postage has been going up steadily every year and it is now close to $0.50 to mail a letter, as inflation rises, so do postage rates.

 

Congressional democrats and their media lackeys would have you to believe that President Trump appointed the PMG to do his dirty work. How uninformed they must be to not know that the 75th Post Master General Louis DeJoy was appointed by the USPS Board of Governors in June 2020. Oops!

 

Mr. DeJoy has spent more than 35 years growing and managing a successful nationwide logistics company. As Chairman and CEO of New Breed Logistics, he has spent decades in collaboration with the USPS, Boeing, Verizon, Disney, United Technologies and other public and private companies to provide supply chain logistics, program management and transportation support. New Breed Logistics was a contractor for the USPS for more than 25 years, supplying logistics support for multiple processing facilities. The company received Quality Supplier Awards from the USPS on four separate occasions.

 

In 2014, New Breed merged with XPO Logistics and DeJoy served as CEO of XPO Logistics’ supply chain business in the Americas before his retirement in December 2015. He then served on the company’s board of directors until 2018.

 

As PMG, DeJoy has committed to creating a long-term, viable operating model for the Postal Service that will insure the organization can fulfill its public service mission while remaining self-sustaining.

 

DeJoy is a member of the Board of Trustees at Elon University in North Carolina and the Fund for American Studies in Washington, DC. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University.

 

I can see why he was nominated by the USPS Board of Governors to head USPS. In my humble opinion he is exactly the right man for the job at this critical time in the USPS transformation process. For those who say he has no experience with USPS I say bullhockey.

 

During the Presidency of George W. Bush the Postal Service began to change with the Postal Act of 2006, the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act is the first major legislative change to the Postal Service since 1971. It significantly changed how the USPS operates and conducts business. The Act provided new flexibility in competitive pricing for shipping services, enabling the Postal Service to respond to dynamic market conditions and changing customer needs for packages.

 

As the Postal Service has worked to implement the Act, modernize its business, and take advantage of new opportunities for growth, it has remained loyal to the principles established to help guide implementation of the Act. The Postal Service’s mission remains the same: to provide trusted, universal service at affordable prices.

 

I believe that continued change is not only inevitable but necessary for the USPS. When businesses fail it can be a combination of leadership, politics or the union and because the Postal Service is such a huge operation there has to be a time for someone has to step in and determine what went wrong and how to fix it.  The unique problem with the Postal Service is that it is a government agency with bureaucratic red tape and congressional oversight.

 

President Trump in 3 ½ years began reducing bureaucratic red tape almost immediately after the inauguration in 2017. So for congress to blame the President for something they have had hands on with congressional oversight is a bit much, even 83 days before a major presidential election.

 

The real reason for all the fuss was not for Speaker Pelosi to bring the House back in session to help Americans affected by this global pandemic, but to try one more time to place the blame of her attempt to create panic over voters not having their voices heard because it’s not safe to vote in person.

 

Give me a break, give me a break, just hand me a piece of that ice cream bar. The one Speaker Pelosi has stashed in the $17,000 freezer in her home in San Francisco. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Voting is a Right Not a Mandate

 

The Rule of Law is the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution declares in the following Amendments that “the rights of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color or previous condition of servitude, sex, failure to pay poll tax or other tax, or age (18 years or older).”

 

It is the responsibility of individual citizens to register to vote in their respective districts where they live.

It is the right of registered voters to exercise their right to vote in an election.

Voters unable to vote in person may request an absentee ballot.

Registered voters may choose to vote in person or by absentee ballot.

States cannot mandate voters use mail in ballots as voting is a right to be exercised by US citizens.

Absentee ballots can be mailed to the voting precinct or hand delivered to a voting collection site.

 

State and local precincts have the responsibility to secure, verify eligibility and determine legality of every ballot and to accurately count all ballots received at each county voting precinct and transmit those tallies to state voting officials in a timely manner as prescribed by law.

In Answer to the Question of Kamala Harris Qualifications for President

 

During a recent press conference President Trump was asked about Kamala Harris’s Citizenship disqualifying her from the office of the Presidency, his answer was that he’d have someone look into it.

 

The media did what they always do with President Trump – they blasted him without FIRST doing their own due diligence. They could have taken his answer seriously, and then conducted a little bit of research to determine even though Senator Kamala Harris was in fact born in California to non US citizen parents, raised in her father’s homeland Jamaica, in Oakland and with her mother in Canada after their divorce. Senator Harris is a naturalized citizen (as were her parents before her). It has been stressed that Senator Harris is a 14th Amendment citizen and that sparked my interest. According to the Constitution of the United States the requirement of being a “natural born Citizen” is not extended to a naturalized citizen, not even the 14th Amendment has changed that.

In the Dred Scott decision of 1857, the Supreme Court had said that African-Americans were not citizens. This amendment declared that every person born or naturalized in the U.S. was a citizen. The amendment’s “due process” clause has had enormous constitutional importance, since the Supreme Court has used it to apply most of the Bill of Rights to the states. The amendment also establishes that all citizens are entitled to “equal protection of the laws,” the provision which the Supreme Court cited in Brown v. Board of Education in 1954, ruling school segregation unconstitutional.

 

What was surprising was that because the question was not contesting her citizenship, but her constitutional authority to assume the Vice Presidency and/or the Presidency if warranted. Democratic politicians always have a way of going where no man or woman should ever go when questioning the truth. Democrats did the same thing when Barack Obama’s citizenship was challenged. They simply attacked anyone who dared question it. In my opinion who ever in the Democratic National Committee that made the decision for Joe Biden did not fully research the constitutionality of their decision or of its intended or unintended consequences. I’m no rocket scientist but I am someone and I did look into it and even a blind man could see through their argument. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Conspiring for the Highest Office

 

To liberal, progressive and uninformed voters this will come off as corny as Corn Pop himself. To conservative voters following politics it will make perfect sense. So sit back and prepare to be amused.

 

Remember when it seemed that everyone in Democratic Party politics wanted to jump in the race to oppose President Trump’s reelection? There were sitting members of Congress who overwhelmingly impeached him over false, misleading and unproven allegations of wrong doing as part of their active resistance beginning on day one which continues to this day.

 

Of the Democratic candidates many were well qualified, some had widespread name recognition and one wasn’t even a Democrat but was favored to receive the nomination. Things from the left are not always what they seem and all of a sudden all the candidates simply dropped out of the race leaving former Vice President Joe Biden as the presumptive Presidential nominee. How did that happen?

 

Was it because of his many years of “public service”, his connection to his boss former President Obama or some other unknown factor? We may never know for sure. What is perfectly clear to me is that those closest to Biden are using him. In my opinion this is clearly elder abuse and those closest to him should have been protecting him, yet have chosen to exploit him for political purposes, as has the Democratic National Committee.

 

After weeks of self-isolation in the Biden’s basement bunker in Delaware the announcement of his choice for a Vice Presidential running mate is truly amazing and historical. Without the Democratic Convention or further deliberation his pick of Senator Kamala Harris seemed to be one of outside pressure to pick a younger than him, black female for the VP spot.

 

Ever since former Secretary Hillary Clinton campaigned on the premise that America is ready for a female president and this is clearly a lead in to making that a possibility. After Barack Obama’s ground breaking election as the 44^th President it would only be fitting that a woman could become the 49^th Vice President and the first black woman to achieve that lofty goal, if it were just that simple.

 

As I said earlier things on the left are not just that simple. Democrats seem to forget that the devil is in the details. It has been a long standing goal of the Congressional Black Caucus to have an African-American Woman become President and there is no shortage of highly qualified CBC women to choose from like Friederika Wilson, Maxine Waters, Karen Bass (chairwoman), Eddie Bernice Johnson, Joyce Betty, Robin Kelly, Jahana Hayes, Lauren Underwood, Kamala Harris, Lucy McBeth, Brenda Lawrence, Stacey Plaskett, Gwen Moore, Bonnie Watson Coleman, Yvette Clarke, Marcia Fudge, Alma Adams, Terri Sewell, Sheila Jackson Lee, Eleanor Holmes Norton. Outside the CBC there are many well qualified women who have the background that would make them very good choices for Vice President.

 

So how did it come about that Kamala Harris was singled out so quickly and by Biden after she had most recently called him out as a sexual abuser of a woman she said she believed? She has political baggage of her own that she brings to the table. It would appear that her father came to the US from Jamaica and her mother from India, both as students in the early 1960s and met in college where they both become politically active in the civil rights movement at UC Berkeley. She claims to have a stroller’s eye-view of the movement.

 

What is also clear is her qualifications for the VP slot on the Biden ticket were simply that her skin color was black (really brown) and she was a younger woman instead of her political accomplishments which tend to show her true colors (pun intended). Her previous claims of being a black woman or an African-American woman are not supported by her ancestry.

 

Senator Harris’s 3 ½ years in Congress have given her a legacy of teaming up with Senator Cory Booker and along with other congressional Democrat’s attempted to discredit Judge Kavanagh during his Supreme Court nomination hearing. She sided with a woman Harris said she believed and after the woman admitted to making up false allegations Harris offered no apology for her actions.

 

There is a lot of gerrymandering going on within the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Party and Congressional Democrats as they attempt to prevent President Trump from being reelected. Yet the Democratic Party playbook is flawed and their failed tactics are driving many democratic voters away. – I am the Real Truckmaster!

Let the Record Show

 

On television dramas lawyers would begin with “Let the record show” in order to place evidence OFFICIALLY ON THE RECORD. So it is only fitting to let the 2020 Presidential Candidates stand on their political records.

 

President Trump has a political record of 3 years, 7 months in office.

Mr. Trump announced his candidacy for the Presidency on June 16, 2015. He then accepted the Republican nomination for President of the United States in July of 2016, having defeated seventeen other contenders during the Republican primaries. On November 8, 2016, Mr. Trump was elected President in the largest Electoral College landslide for a Republican in 28 years. Mr. Trump won more than 2,600 counties nationwide, the most since President Ronald Reagan in 1984. And he received the votes of more than 62 million Americans, the most ever for a Republican candidate. These voters, in delivering a truly national victory and historic moment, rallied behind Mr. Trump’s commitment to rebuilding our country and disrupting the political status quo that had failed to deliver results. Mr. Trump won, in part, because he campaigned in places Republicans have had difficulty winning—Flint, Michigan, charter schools in inner-city Cleveland, and Hispanic churches in Florida.  He went there because he wanted to bring his message of economic empowerment to all Americans. Millions of new Republicans trusted Mr. Trump with their vote because of his commitment to delivering prosperity through a reformed tax code, an improved regulatory environment, and better trade deals. President Trump’s victory has brought Americans of all backgrounds together, and he is committed to delivering results for the Nation every day he serves in office. President Trump has been married to his wife, Melania, for twelve years, and they are parents to their son, Barron. Mr. Trump also has four adult children, Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany, as well as ten grandchildren.

 

Vice President Pence has a political record of 12 years as an Indiana Representative in the House, 3 years as Governor of Indiana and 3 years, 7 months in office.

Vice President Pence set off for Hanover College, earning his bachelor’s degree in history in 1981. While there, he renewed his Christian faith which remains the driving force in his life. He later attended Indiana University School of Law and met the love of his life, Second Lady Karen Pence. After graduating, Vice President Pence practiced law, led the Indiana Policy Review Foundation, and began hosting The Mike Pence Show, a syndicated talk radio show and a weekly television public affairs program in Indiana. Along the way he became the proud father to three children, Michael, Charlotte, and Audrey. Growing up in Indiana, surrounded by good, hardworking Hoosiers, Vice President Pence always knew that he needed to give back to the state and the country that had given him so much. In 2000, he launched a successful bid for his local congressional seat, entering the United States House of Representatives at the age of 40. The people of East-Central Indiana elected Vice President Pence six times to represent them in Congress. Former Vice President Biden has a political record as of 1-24-2017 he ranked #18 out of 25 Longest Serving Senators with 36 years, 13 days in Congress and 8 years in office.

He graduated, University of Delaware, Newark, 1965, and Syracuse (N.Y.) University College of Law 1968; admitted to the Delaware bar in 1969 and commenced practice in Wilmington; served on the New Castle County Council 1970-1972; elected as a Democrat to the United States Senate in 1972 and reelected in 1978, 1984, 1990, 1996, 2002, and again in 2008 and served from January 3, 1973, until January 15, 2009, when he resigned to become Vice President; chair, Committee on the Judiciary (One Hundredth through One Hundred Third Congresses), Committee on Foreign Relations (One Hundred Seventh Congress [January 3-20, 2001; June 6, 2001-January 3, 2003], One Hundred Tenth Congress); was an unsuccessful candidate for the Democratic nomination for president in 2008, but was elected Vice President of the United States on the Democratic ticket headed by Barack Obama in 2008; reelected in 2012, and served from January 20, 2009, until January 20, 2017.

 

Senator Harris’ political record of 3 years, 7 months in office:

After earning an undergraduate degree from Howard University and a law degree from the University of California, Hastings, she began her career in the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. In 2003, Kamala became the District Attorney of the City and County of San Francisco. Among her achievements as District Attorney, Harris started a program that gives first-time drug offenders the chance to earn a high school diploma and find employment. Having completed two terms as the District Attorney of San Francisco, Kamala was elected as the first African-American and first woman to serve as California’s Attorney General. In this role, she worked tirelessly to hold corporations accountable and protect the state’s most vulnerable people. Over the course of her nearly two terms in office, Kamala won a $25-billion settlement for California homeowners hit by the foreclosure crisis, defended California’s landmark climate change law, protected the Affordable Care Act, helped win marriage equality for all Californians, and prosecuted transnational gangs that trafficked in guns, drugs, and human beings. In 2017, Kamala D. Harris was sworn in as a United States Senator for California, the second African-American woman and first South Asian-American senator in history. What have they said they would do to and for the American people?

 

President Trump recently made six promises to American workers for his second term 8-7-2020:

Move Millions of Manufacturing Jobs Back to America:

“My fourth promise to American workers: Beyond our medical supply chains over the next four years, we will onshore millions of new manufacturing jobs, across many other critical sectors that are vital to our national security and prosperity,” he said…

 

Using Tariffs to Fight for Fair Trade:

“My fifth promise to American workers is to bring back American jobs and factories using every tool at my disposal, including tariffs,” Trump said.
